I've never written a bad review of a local business before, but my experience with Cindi Stawicki and her business, Quik Milker (their family also owns this painting company) was so bad I'm sharing it here in hopes of helping other people avoid getting ripped off. I bought a quick milker from her. The wrong size teat cups were in the box, so I spent an entire afternoon driving up to her house to get the right sized ones. Then, the motor broke of the milker (used it once). So I requested a new one, which she only sent after I waited a few days for it to arrive, then called her to ask where it was. Then, that motor didn't have enough suction to milk our goat (her teats are high and small), so I texted her and said I'd send everything back and wanted a full refund. She didn't answer. I texted her again about 7 times over the course of two weeks. She didn't answer. It was only when I sent her a text message saying that I was going to go leave an honest review of her company that she replied. She said she could not take it back and would not refund my money, even though no milk had ever gone through the lines and I'd only had the machine for a total of about three weeks. Then, she billed me another $45 a couple of days later without letting me know she was doing so, which overdrafted my business account (I'm a small farmer, I don't keep a balance in that account unless I'm planning to use it). So basically, she got $300 out of me for a milker that was supposed to cost $225, and an entire day wasted driving up to meet her (twice!) to pick up the milker and then to pick up the right size teat cups. I don't have time for that. And that $300 would go a long way towards seeds and info-structure on our farm. I am so upset by all this :(
