We found Heidi, or rather she found us when we were about mid-way through our building project and all of the decisions that needed to be made were coming at us fast and furious. It didn't help that we were trying to do things long distance, living in Seattle while building in Central Oregon, and with a limited budget. Heidi understood all of the challenges immediately and hit the ground running. She's a great editor of design options, which allowed us to make quick decisions without wading through piles of samples and materials. In short, she got us and helped us laugh our way through some tricky decisions. We definitely consider Heidi a great resource and won't hesitate to call her again when we need design help.

As a long time local builder in Central Oregon, I must say, the experience with Byrnes Design Group was the most pleasurable I have had. Heidi is very professional, and considerate to every aspect of her clients projects. My latest project that I am managing is located in Tetherow, Heidi visited the project many times to get her own personal feel for the project, then sat with me for countless hours to go over my visions for the project. I asked to include my sales agent and interior furniture designer into the conversation, Heidi was absolutely open to additional input....guess what I am trying to say, is Heidi does not have that giant ego that will sometimes get in the way of having a fabulous finished product. Our project is well under way with the model home completed, which looks outstanding and many other completed sample boards for our clients to make selections for their new home. We are having a house built in Bend, Oregon. The builder offered us two hours of design consultation with Byrnes Design Group which is how we came to know Heidi. We were very impressed with the design work she had done on the model homes in the development and we wanted something similar. Heidi has all the important characteristics that an interior designer needs to be successful. She is very personable and has a unique eye for envisioning the final product. When it came to selecting paint colors, flooring, tile, plumbing fixtures, etc, we met with Heidi at a supplier showroom and we let Heidi lead the way. We are very happy with the result. Heidi listened to our preferences and worked with us to come up with design selections that look great and worked well with our budget. Heidi is very detail-oriented and organized. She captured the bewildering collection of specifications and worked with the contractors to make sure everything was built as we intended. Heidi has an award winning design aesthetic, she is very knowledgeable about home construction, and she provides top-notch customer service. As such, she was able to help out with project management and advocate for us as home owners, above and beyond the call of duty. We wound up purchasing extra hours of consultation in addition to the two hours offered by the builder, it was well worth it. Heidi was a key contributor to our project, we would have been lost without her. We highly recommend Heidi and Byrnes Design Group!

Working with Heidi Byrnes at Byrnes Design Group has been a wonderful experience for my husband and me. We liked Heidi from the moment we met her. She is a great listener, and did a phenomenal job of incorporating our thoughts and wishes with some new ideas of her own, as well as helped us stick to our budget. Heidi guided us in the selection process for all of the finishings including paint, tile, flooring, electrical fixtures, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, doors, etc...I probably missed something. She did a fantastic job of communicating with vendors, our builder, and us. We also hired Heidi to help us select some interior furnishings since we were from the East Coast and needed a little guidance for our new Craftsman style home. We are beyond pleased with our purchases and can't wait to move in shortly. Heidi has a great eye for mixing a number of tasteful textures, patterns, and prints. We have some new pieces that I am sure we wouldn't have picked out on our own. I would highly recommend Heidi!

One of the best decisions I made with my remodel was hiring Heidi. I met her by chance and was immediately charmed by her knowledge and easy banter. She seemed to "get" me and my project goals right away. Every meeting with her was always fun and productive. Heidi has saved me countless hours of doubting my choices and obsessively looking at samples by coming up with beautiful selections that suited me and my family perfectly. My husband and I hired Heidi for a new build in Caldera Springs. We live out of town and have entrusted her with lot's of decisions. She is amazing. While always professional, she is also really fun to work with. Her network of other craftsman is amazing. Building a new home from scratch can be overwhelming, but Heidi makes it a bit easier and takes a lot of the stress out of it. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is doing any new build to guide you through the process. Her detail to color and style is wonderful while always listening to your wants.

Five stars is not enough. Heidi is a wonderful person and great to work with. I would (and have) recommended her to anyone wanting to refresh and renew their space. No matter how big or how small, you won’t go wrong with Heidi. This review is long overdue... I met Heidi a year ago when I was struggling to choose new flooring. I thought I found something I liked, but lacked confidence that it would look good with the style of the house. My husband had recently died and in my grief I struggled to make decisions and logical choices. Heidi took the time to get to know me. She helped with decisions when I got “stuck”; hired patient and compassionate contractors to do the work. In no time she had my full confidence to make decisions when I couldn’t. With Heidi’s guidance and encouragement my confidence and personal style has resurfaced. As we moved from one room to the next, addressing changes I’d wanted for years, Heidi would reign me in when needed; helping set priorities and keeping me on task. Her patience and support this past year has been invaluable. Enjoying a cup of coffee, on my comfy sofa, listening to music and enjoying the mountains. Thank you, Heidi.
