Everyone in her office is very welcoming and generous, always looking for ways to engage in and give back to the Cincinnati community. Amy Youngblood's storefront in OTR was open during our fundraiser, serving refreshments to our guests. Their storefront is a beautiful representation of the work they do, I would encourage anyone to stop in and learn how their staff can help with your interior design needs!

We recently bought a house and had really no furniture for the main room. We hired Amy and her crew and they were a tremendous help! I had specific needs as we are cat owners. I was worried about what fabric to use because I did not want our new couch to become an expensive scratching post for our cats! Amy listened to my concerns and contacted the manufacturer and we came up with a great solution. I appreciated her attentiveness. The furniture came the Friday before Thanksgiving and it was like Christmastime! They were great to work with. Thank you Amy! We love it.

A warning story for anyone new to the interior design process: My experience was simply put.... unimaginative. Amy Youngblood Interiors was a leap of faith for me, my first experience with hiring an Interior designer. I choose them because they had such great reviews on Google and other sites. I believe my experience differed a lot because I was wanting to be involved with the process. Upon doing my due diligence to make sure the items were at a price point i was comfortable with and had the functionality that i desired seemed to be a big issue. I'm not quite sure if this was seen as over-stepping but i work hard for my money and want to make sure it was working hard for me too. The red flag was wanting to spend almost 17% of the budget before the contractors had even put in their bid on window treatments. *The key lesson here is that they will ONLY source from their vendors* The only reason i can foresee for this is they must be incentivized. This to me meant immediately they weren't playing for my team. As much as i really wanted help on this project, it seems that i will be on my own because i won't step away and keep writing checks. All together this was a $1100 lesson to learn. I'm hoping i can save someone else the cost. *The last point to make was the I had asked for us to meet to discuss the differences in person, this was also seen as excess burden and i promptly received an email telling me that our business was concluded. I'm sure that there is a lot going on in the world of interior design in Cincinnati, but terminating any business relationship via email makes sure that your client and potential future clients know the value you put on them. Hoping to hear back from you and i'm open to changing this review upon better insights from Amy Youngblood Interiors.

Her lighting and fixture choices , as well as, her paint color decisions inside and outside, were so helpful in creating a new and fresh look to an older restaurant. The restaurant business is a tough one and to stay up to date with other restaurants is critical. Amy and her firm have a keen sense of awareness on what is out there among other businesses and restaurants and how to not lose a step on the competition by avoiding a dated look.

Amy and team took a 1970's Early American house and transformed it into an updated, classy and comfortable home in which I once again reside...minus the American Eagles! The young lady I was working with was very sweet and I enjoyed discussing possible interior options/ designs. However when it came to communication of what I was wanting she made things a little difficult. I would send her what I was looking for and a price point that I wanted to start with, but when I would talk with her I had to repeat everything and she couldn't recall what we discussed in our email. I was really frustrated and I started to get the feeling from her that because I wasn't dropping 10k that she wasn't really interested in doing business with me. From the first point of contact I was very clear of what I was looking for and if that was what her company did and in the end she ended up telling me "well we usually deal with larger clients". This was after she did the consultation that started at $300 dollars. All of it was frustrating. She was nice and I am sure they do great work, but she was misleading and insulting and basically got $300 dollars for throwing me some ideas. Once she did the consultation and realized I wasn't a high dollar client she basically said enough for me not to want to go any further with the company. From the reviews I have seen this is a great company, I am disappointed that I didn't have a better experience.

Terrible vision and not friendly at all. Doesn't follow any direction, which she needs because she can't design anything on her own. We have used a new decorator since on multiple developments who are much better. Also, please don’t use any photos she sends you and tells you they are ok to use. We are now in the process of suing her because another photographer took them and we didn’t know and the photographer’s attorney sent us a shake down letter. The photos weren’t registered though and the photographer said they were at the time in an invoice to Amy, so he lied as well. Amy was the one at wrong here though and she doesn’t realize it.
