Our experience working with Marta and her staff could not have been better. We found Marta to be very gifted as a decorator. Her strengths were the ability to understand our needs for our house and our lifestyle. In getting to know us Marta was able to fuse her vast decorating experiences helping and guiding us in multiple options for renovating our house both exterior and interior. Marta is very professional and very relational in her communication skills. Lastly, her support staff was very attentive to our needs staying in close communication throughout the entire decorating process. She had the perfect plan - 2 1/2 tons of bricks removed, relocating powder and laundry rooms, etc. One project led to another and our home is truly amazing! Marta and Annelise were so calm and reassuring during the entire project. They listened and had wonderful ideas and incorporated the items we love. When I was close to having a breakdown, Marta would say "Susan, one bite at a time!" Marta's enthusiasm and professionalism are contagious. MMID helped me with 2 bathroom projects. The master bath was gutted and another full bath received a major facelift. Marta and her team saved the day on the Master BR project. I came very close to signing a contract for a design my husband and I did not like. MMID listened to what was important to us and gave us several designs from which to choose. I was impressed with the creativity of the designs. Marta and her designers are energetic and full of good ideas! Ultimately, we decided on a design which placed the shower in front of the window, where we are able to get natural light with a cool design of frosted glass on the architectural block. We are so pleased with the bathroom design and with the storage closet, vanity, tile, fixtures, color and lighting that MMID selected (for both bathroom projects). Marta also helped reconfigure our bedroom and even found a new dresser for me. At the outset of the project, I asked Marta for contractor recommendations. JLand Construction was a terrific fit for our projects. Marta and her team are incredibly responsive, thorough and creative. They have great sources and contacts. I could not have completed this project and been as pleased with the result without MMID. Highly recommend!

Marta Mitchell Interior Design is amazing! From the moment I met Marta the whole design experience has been both professional and enjoyable. I had moved into a new house about a year before I started working with Marta. She met with me and really listened to my thoughts and the look I was trying to achieve. I had gotten my house to a certain point but it wasn't quit there. Marta put together a plan giving me choices and suggestions on furniture, fabrics, lighting, rugs and floor layout as well as selecting some paint colors.
