I ordered a piece of jewelry, stone was described as alexandrite and photo showed a purple stone. When it arrived it was nothing but a chunk of blue glass. I have tried repeatedly to contact them by phone and email and have been ignored. I have since reviewed a lot of their listings and noted that LOTS of jewelry is described as precious stones when the price makes it clear that it is nothing of the kind. One hint: if the item is not returnable, it is probably a fake. This is fraud. This is my last attempt to get a response—if this doesn’t work, we will file suit.

The last three items I've ordered from OKL have been broken. I call and wait 25 mins for them to even answer the phone (dont even bother emailing them bc they will not email you back). I asked for a refund and never saw it after one month, so had to call back (wait another 25 mins) and then try again...SO frustrating!

They don’t even deserve one star. Have been trying to get a refund for a mirror I returned months ago. Emailed and called to follow up, no one ever had an answer until finally, they told me they couldn’t credit my PayPal account due to system problems. Today, I received an email that they back charged my account and consider the matter resolved. No explaination given. DO NOT do business with them. AWFUL!! CRIMINALS and THIEVES!!! Absolutely horrible!

Placed an order in Aug 2018 for 2 sconces and was charged for 4. OKL continues to state that the 2 additional charges were temporary charges however they billed to my credit card and I have since had to pay them. I cannot seem to get anyone at OKL to refund me since they continue to state that I wasn't charged and that they were temp charges even though I have provided my full credit card statement showing the charges. Disputed the charge and Chase also won't refund me since OKL is telling them that I received the merchandise, which is not accurate since I was sent 2 sconces not 4. It is going on almost 6 months with no resolution.

I had to file a dispute with visa for $86 that they owed me and would not give back. Of course I won the dispute and I now have my $86 but will never do business with them again horrible.

If i could give no stars I would. Absolute worst experience ever. I ordered a couch in late July and was supposed to be delivered by October 3. That did not happen and was told it would be delivered Dec 3. Obvi thx did not happen. I called on Dec 18 and was told it would be delivered THAT day. I was surprised since no one ever called me to schedule it. It was not delivered. It FINALLY came a months later on January 18. This is the worst, I was told that the item was able to be returned within 30 days but I’d need to pay. $300 restocking fee. I read that and was told by the salesperson when I bot it. The couch does not fit our space and I called to return it and the sales person said ok but I had to pay a $300 fee to return it. No problem. That’s what u expected. At the end of the day, I was told that the item was not Returnable. That’s contrary to my understanding the entire time and what I was told by multiple sales people when I bot the couch and today when I first called to return it. I would never have bought the couch w out being able to sit in it if I knew this were the case. AND I was told this by multiple people. Horrible.

Purchased an $1800 ottoman on 11/06/18. Still haven’t received it! The delivery company OKL is using for my purchase has not returned any of my many phone calls for over 2 weeks! OKL customer service NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! Left on hold at least 3 times for close to 30 minutes before I finally hung up! I have sent several emails to their customer service department and got one generic response. I have since sent more emails that have yet to be answered! The company only provides one phone number and email address! I can’t even cancel it now if I want to! I’ve spent thousands of dollars there over the past few years and THIS is how they do business?? HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! A couple days after I purchased the ottoman, it went on sale. I called to see if they could adjust the price for mine, as it hadn’t even been shipped yet, and they refused. Then they refused to let me cancel the order at that point! UNBELIEVABLE!!! I am beyond frustrated and angry. This is absolutely the LAST time I’ll purchase anything from One Kings Lane! MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!

Poor customer service, be wary of buying anything from this site that is fragile. A friend bought glassware, 1 of the 4 was broken and OKL would not refund any money or send a new set. This happened over a year ago. Our, more recent, experience: we ordered a 800$ glass top dining table. The delivery was supposed to take about a month. After waiting a month, we finally see that the table has arrived and we call with the shipping company to set up a time. They have lost a piece of our order. Two days later they say they found it, we arrange for them to come the following morning. Upon arrival, the glass top (which was poorly wrapped for cross country shipping AND did not have "fragile" written on it anywhere) was snapped in half. We refused the table. No apologies were made by the company. They said if the table was available we could have another one shipped, but it would take another month. No offer to rush ship. Turns out there is no other table for us. So we are offered a refund, or, this is the best part, we can keep the broken table (which we dont even have since we refused it) for 20% off. Again, no apologies were made by either of the rude people on the phone. I suggest staying away from One Kings Lane. Read online about other people's experiences and you will likely agree.

A warning to other design professionals who use OKL for clients. I have had several issues with order completion with them. The latest: i ordered an item with my credit card in MARCH. A month later, I communicated with Malverna, who said my cc did not go through. I wrote her back saying that I was traveling internationally and my credit card was temporarily disabled. (Why did it take so long to be charged?) I called One Kings Lane within a few days and provided an updated credit card number to an agent over the phone, and I have heard nothing since. It is now almost JUNE- nearly 3 MONTHS since i placed this order. And they have just told me that the charge was never put through and I have to re-order the item! This was a business order for my design client. It is damaging to my reputation as an Interior Designer to have paid orders not be delivered for months at a time. I do a lot of business with OKL, but won't be anymore based on this and several other unfortunate experiences.

OKL does NOT deserve even one star!! I ordered floor lamp and it did not come with the shade. no shade for lamp?They're joking me, right?? It's like you order monitor and only the frame came without the screen. I called them immediately, they go.."Hmm.. there is no replacement, so you have two options here. you could either buy your own shade or return it." no apologies.. Was that the whole intention?? Very disappointed.

I would strongly advise buyer beware before doing business with this company. See complaints/cases on the BBB profile, or see visitor comments on their Facebook page. This company has taken my money, not shipped the product, and customer service has not responded since 4-18. Update: After multiple calls/emails to customer service, I had to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau and then my State’s Attorney before I received a refund.

Im astonished at the level of poor customer service from this company. I'm waited for almost 6 weeks now for a refund and get a generic email template which the rep never even bothered to fill in the date where it was noted DATE, as in, 'insert date here'. I emailed them back stating how displeased I was and that I wanted a manager to contact me to explain what the issue is got yet another generic email back stating 'im sorry you feel that way'. No, it's not my 'opinion' or my 'feelings', it's facts that someone there dropped the ball and you owe me an explanation. Zero accountability. Corporate needs to be aware of how bad this is in contrast to the price level of goods they sell. It's incredibly sloppy. They need to clean house in that department and start again from the ground up. I will not buy from this company again which is unfortunate because it really is a well curated brand. Do better OKL.
