Yes, their furniture is more expensive than most, but the quality and enduring styling are well worth it. I have nine different pieces from Ethan Allen and I’ve never been disappointed with any of them. If you’re looking for really trendy avant-garde styles, this isn’t the store for you although they do have contemporary, modern and kid furniture lines.

Albuquerque is lucky to have an Ethan Allen, and those of us who have figured that out have the most beautiful homes in the city. Those of you who bought elsewhere know it most. Why buy your dream home and fill it with things you don't love? If you take pride in your home and want heirloom pieces to pass down, this is the only store in town you need to visit.

Absolutely horrible customer service and delivery process. I placed an order for two chairs on January 2nd, 2017, with an expected delivery of 6-8 weeks. After two months, and no contact from Ethan Allen, my online delivery estimate was pushed to March 27th (13 weeks after my order). We quickly blew past this expected delivery date. I contacted Ethan Allen on numerous occasions and received delivery estimates of May 1st, May 15th and eventually May 22nd. It is now May 25th (23 weeks after my order), I have yet to receive my order and there is still no delivery date scheduled. My online order status still says March 27th and I can’t get Ethan Allen to return my calls or give me an actual delivery date. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If I do not receive my order in the next week, I will be forced to go to small claims court to seek the return of my order deposit.

Delays, delays, delays. Ethan Allen, working with hand tools in 1780, could have produced furniture faster than these guys. And certainly there would have been more commitment and integrity around the expected delivery date. Our stuff was promised in late October, then late November, now it's late December. No explanation why the delays happened, and I had to call to learn about the problems in the first place. Inexcusable treatment for such a expensive company. In-store design service has been good, but in terms of delivery, Ethan Allen needs to understand what it means to operate in the 21st century retail economy, where a four to five month wait and continual. last minute delays are going to make you lunchmeat for some nimble, young-thinking company. Maybe that company is out there already. If so, let me know!

I always felt Ethan & Allen to was too high end for me. I warned my husband before we entered the store that the staff would probably not acknowledge us. Much to my surprise Allyssa was so warm and friendly. She guided us through the entire process, the right size couch, color and fabric. We are more than pleased with our purchase. She also came to our home to inspect the couch, also gave me some great decorating tips and ideas! Thank you Allyssa!

I want to share an unpleasant experience I had with EA. A few years back we bought $ 36,000 worth of shade products from them, and now that I need a replacement motor for one of the shades they said they could not help me. I was advised to go to Hunter Douglas (the manufacturer of the product - who I contacted already and who told me to go and contact the dealer I bought the product from) Neither of these two companies seem to care. When I asked to be transferred to an operational person the Lady I spoke with hung up on me. I am deeply dissatisfied with this attitude and will make sure never to set foot in their store again. Before buying from them, think twice, especially when its expensive and may require replacement parts down the road. The one star is for them being in the Yellow pages but not for any other demonstrated qualities.

very bad experience. for the cost, i expect a flawless experience. everything went wrong from delay in delivery, missing order, wrong order and defective items that took more than 4 weeks to have someone come in to take a look at. would not step in an EA again
