Ordered a beautiful white sofa from Sailor Trading Company 6 weeks ago. The staff at Sailor was beyond helpful and even helped up find a couch doctor to get the couch into our basement. (Would not fit thru the doorway) We will totally be back to order more! *Also, first night we got the sofa my son spilled pasta sauce on the new white sofa and they are selling Kidproof white fabric. I was able to take the cover off follow the cleaning instructions they give you and it came out as white as it walked into my home! So happy to not have to worry about my kids trashing it!

Had a similar bad experience. Ordered and paid for furniture in April and had to cancel due to non-delivery in September. Requested updates numerous times and received half answers and promises. Awful experience. I will never do business with this company again.

I ordered furniture in February and paid in full. I was given the runaround for 3 months(April, May and June), promised my furniture, but ALWAYS offered something else in the store until my order "came in", which never happened. Owner/Manager Jason doesn't return calls and is filled with excuses. I never received my furniture, so on July 19th(5 months into this) I called my credit card company and had the charge reversed. I have yet to receive a phone call from anyone. It you buy something from this store, make sure that you can carry it out the day that you purchase, or you may never see your furniture. I have been living in a new house since mid-May with no furniture to sit on...BUYER BEWARE

I’m owed a refund and have gotten nothing but promises the money will be sent, no money though. The owner Jason is lying to me when he says it will be sent. If the money is refunded to me I will update this review.

Worst customer service I have experienced. Paid and ordered furniture 9 weeks ago and still haven’t delivered. They don’t pick up the phone or return voicemails. Manager said he would check status and call me back 5 different times and never did. Will never order anything from them again.

Purchased our consigned dining room table from STC. It is a beautiful piece but I have to agree with the other posts - the furniture is terribly overpriced. Looking back I could've purchased a much nicer (brand new) table for the price I paid. I also agree with the other reviews - poor communication. I was interested in shiplap installation after looking at STC website. I made several attempts to call and email to no avail. No call back or reply. No good for business! Cool place to look around, love their design taste but they need to step up their game in the customer service realm!

I had a horrible experience with this store and the owner Jason. To make a very long story short, I purchased 3 items from him: 2 dressers (matching) on consignment and a dining room table which I never saw in person, but Jason told me he had in his own home and never used/was in perfect condition, and was selling to me at a discount. Right now, I have 1 of the dressers which has a horrible smell and I believe the wood is rotting. I have the dining table which is completely scratched up and damaged, and I never received the 3rd dresser. It was been about 4 months. Jason and I have communicated via text only in which case he has told me a) he had open heart surgery b) a family member died c) his truck broke down on the parkway d) he slept through his alarm e) his business partner stole $300k from him... and the list goes on. I have spoken to family friends and others who have lost thousands of dollars on "custom furniture" that he never delivered to them. There are many police reports filed on Jason and this store. I respect small businesses, especially those located in Monmouth County where I grew up, but this store and the owner are the most unprofessional people who stole from me and from others.
