Ran off with my deposit. Signed contract for a 30% deposit, after giving a partial deposit of 25%, they informed me they wouldn't start work without another 25% deposit. After I asked for a refund of my partial deposit, I haven't heard back from the company or the owner. The certified letter that I sent requesting the partial deposit be refund has been undeliverable after being forwarded several times.

Other 2 reviews are Spot On! I am filing charges with the State today about this Terrible Excuse for a Businessman! (Scott Butikis, owner - STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING WITH HIS NAME ON IT) I would suggest anyone that has had a bad experience do the same. I have been dealing with him since Oct 2016 for a carport and only got footings and a whole LOT of Excuses - HE DECLARED BANKRUPTCY - and as far as I can tell, no one is getting any money except his lawyer!!!!

Scott Butikis of "CVD" is the most unprofessional, dishonest contractor I have ever dealt with. He took money for a project he wasn't capable/knowledgeable to ever complete. Endless excuses, lies and promises for over a year ... but was very quick to deposit checks in his bank account. .. over $10k! BUYER BEWARE! He has an "office" job now, but I'm sure he'll be back to this at some point.

Not even worth the star. He is now bankrupt after I had started my court case against him. I could give a list of the horrible things he did, but suffice to say his workers RUINED my home after taking over $14,000 ( you read that right). I've barely been able to fix the work he did and would cost more than I have to make it right.

There should be a negative star review bc he doesn't even deserve one star. This guy is a professional scammer and abandoned our project 1/4 of the way through. He has given excuse after excuse and 10 months later we are with an unfinished and unsafe project knowing we have an infant. He had no problem cashing our checks and pulling at our heart strings regarding his personal and professional woes. Update - 10/18/2017. He has recently filed for bankruptcy, so any judgments filed against him will be null. You will need to file a proof of claim with the bankruptcy courts if you are trying to get any money that he stole from you back. He is presently employed as an architect at a fairly large company in Philadelphia, so hopefully he isn't working on the side and ripping other innocent people off. Steer clear of this scammer!
