The examples on the website and brochures they showed us look nothing like what Hometenders has put in our home. I wish we would have staged it ourselves, we could have easily purchased all of the things they have installed for much less than the cost of what we paid for their fees. We are still at square one and loosing valuable days on market, with no showings. And no, the weather is beautiful right now, that's not the problem! I'm very disappointed and frustrated with this whole experience with Hometenders.

How are these people still in business?! We paid them to come out and do a preliminary consultation for $500, then got roped into paying them another $4900 to stage the house for four months. LOOK at their work in person before signing up with them! What they promise you sounds great and the couple of examples they show you look nice, but what they actually put in our home is atrocious! It is cheap, shiny and sparkly - and that's it. Our house looks like a Dr Seuss ice castle, decorated by Walmart. We have received nothing but negative feedback regarding the staging and I believe it is the obvious reason we've had no offers. Their contract gives them total discretion in what they put in your home, so you have no recourse about how awful it is, except to pay out a bunch more money. What an expensive mistake! Do yourself a favor and don't let your commission happy agent steer you towards one of their "associates". Do your own homework, look at the actual work they do - in person if possible - Before contracting with Hometenders!
