We've got the opinions of people like you who bought the products and services of Ceramic Cafe, Inc (Interior Designer) in the state of Missouri.
Right now the firm gets a score of 4.8 stars over 5 and that score has been calculated on 110 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is virtually the top, and it is based on a very large number of scores, so we can say that the assessment is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they've done well with the service, it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to write opinions when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Interior Designer is classified in the category of Interior designer.
Staff was very attentive and helpful. I don't consider myself a creative person, but I went at the suggestion of my niece (with her and her brother), and had fun! I'm looking forward to seeing my finished project. (It takes about two weeks for the piece to be fired.)
Good idea but the execution needs some work. I imagine they are busy this time of year, but if you are going to guarantee something for a certain date, make sure its ready. And if someone calls to check on something I would make sure you have a better answer than "we can't find that order".
Lots of choices, and story time, a snack, and a ceramic object to paint(for $12) every Tuesday and Friday.
I took my husband and three kids on Sunday afternoon. From the reviews and website, I'd expected a more guided experience, but we were pretty much on our own after a three-minute lesson. The experts were busy helping with a birthday party. We asked for help a few times and got some assistance from a teenager who didn't seem too sure. Overall, I wasn't happy with our final piece. It's unlikely we'll be back. The people are nice and it's a cute place. I wouldn't suggest it for a family outing, but it's probably a nice place to go if you are an accomplished painter. **EDIT: A woman called from the cafe to apologize for our experience. She offered for us to come again, but I declined. Instead, she repainted the name on our piece, and must have done some other touching up, thank goodness. I am happy with the plate we got. I updated from two stars to three for the extra call and pretty platter. However, this was my plan for my family for my birthday. I had emailed to set it up a few days ahead. It wasn't fun and I was sorry I'd chosen it over other activities that my kiddos might have enjoyed more.
Wonderful place. Friendly and helpful!
My daughter loves it
We held our Christmas Party here early this year and added a glass fusing project to the event. We're structural engineers that do design calculations for commercial window walls, glass entry and curtain wall engineering so getting creative with glass was a blast! Our two teachers/helpers were very skilled and did an excellent job assisting our party of 15. The atmosphere and inspiring projects were amazing. It's made us want glass decorations all around our new office. Thanks Ceramic Cafe!
Went to Ceramic Cafe with a group of 7 and had an amazing experience. The two women working with us were super knowledgeable in helping us make our ideas come to life. The prices for the ceramics were slightly high in my opinion (I think the bowl in the pic was $15 or $16), but the friendly and helpful service and additional tools (whatever you needed to make your piece awesome... Stickers, stencils, all the paint you wanted, tape, brushes, etc.) made it worth it. We could also bring in snacks and had privacy in the back room. Definitely recommend for a night of fun!
Such amazing family fun and great service!
Very good family fun. The kids enjoyed the story and paint.
Very fun, though I felt the person in charge was a bit short with me when I asked questions. I would still go back and I love what we made! Turn around time was fast too!
I was very pleased with my experience, I took in my four month old son to have feet prints done and the ladies there were more than happy to help. They explained exactly what I needed to do and then showed me where to find all the the supplies I needed to complete the project I was creating. The Ceramic Cafe was an overall very calm welcoming atmosphere and I will return for future projects!
Very very happy with everything I've gotten. I have participated in two specialized events, the Harry Potter and the Nightmare before Christmas. Both were very well done. The specialized food was amazing as was the product we painted. Every year on my birthday we come to make plates with my kids, always receiving the help we need and the end result is beautiful. My only complaint is that there isn't a location in North Kansas City.
Our car was nearby at Firestone for 5 hours and I think this was the best possible way to spend our time. The staff were so helpful and walked me through what to do. I'm not an artist but I adore my little dragon!
This place exceeded my expectations. My mom and I came in on a Monday morning. We were the only ones there, so it wasn't busy beside calls and pickups. Lots of options to choose from. Each option has one that's painted which helped to make a pick. Women helping us was great. They show you examples of things like what layers of paint will look like, color choices, etc. They have lots of colors, stencils. Etc to pick from. We took a while but never felt rushed. They clean up for you too, so that's nice. We had my 4 month old nephew and we got to make a tile foot print for free! Also, there was no studio fee since we did that.
So much fun! Great activity to do with kids or adults. I came in to do some tiles of my newborn's feet for gifts for grandparents. The woman who helped was really great! She did 4 tiles so quickly my baby didn't even seem to mind the glaze on his foot because she worked so fast. It was spring break week, so they were busy for a weekday, but still very helpful. Definitely coming back again.
Had a great time. Made a glass wind chime. Turned out really great. The employees are very nice and cater to your needs.
I love this place! Go in the middle of the day if you'd like to have it yo yourself, but it's also a great place to take your children after school. Kids love it! They also do parties.
We made ornaments with our kids there. A really cool concept well done.
My daughter and I had a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
This is a fun place... you get be creative and a very laid-back atmosphere. They have many Plain ceramic projects available to glaze.. they do seem a little pricey but it was fun
Very cute & clean. My daughter attended a birthday party and it was great.
Our kids love going to the Ceramic Cafe! We do their breakfast with Santa every year and it's such a fun, intimate way for our kids to see Santa and make an ornament for our tree.
We've been to a couple of parties here and the kids and teenagers have a great time creating! The staff is very helpful and friendly.
Friendly and helpful, so much fun for young and old alike!
Love this place. Great with children and adult kid!!!
It was a great experience
Love this place come join the fun and paint some really cute and amazing pottery. We definitely will be coming back.
Great environment, great staff very friendly and attentive. I brought my kids here to make fathers day gifts and they had a blast!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Fun activity for kids or adults. Can't wait to get the call that our "masterpiece" is ready for pick up
Great place!
Very fun place. They have 100s of pieces to choose from, and they are all priced. There are no extra fees so you know what you are getting into. The staff is AMAZINGLY helpful. They have tons of tools, paint and supplies, and will give you what you need. They even helped my kid fix her mistakes. Bonus: on Thursdays, groups of 4 or more get $5 off each piece!!!
Very fun and cool place would love you go there again
Great fun and friendly staff ❤
My daughter and I came here for a mommy-daughter day out and had so much fun. There was no rush, we were able to take our time and really enjoy the experience. We will be back for sure!
Fun place to go for a crafty day. Kid friendly. Can get expensive.
Welcoming, polite staff. Great place for children's birthday parties.
Went for a birthday party. The staff was friendly and the choices for what kids could paint were good.
Great staff and selection.
In Kansas City for the day & decided to do something fun different & we were not disappointed. Very cool place, friendly & lots of selection! Thank you! We will be back
Fun activities with kids. You can great art using glass or clay if you would like or paint an already created clay object
Fun spot. The attendants were helpful and informative. Super nice! Selection and samples were great.
I brought two of my grandsons (ages 12 & 9) we just had a wonderful time. We enjoyed picking out our projects, the colors - to sponge or not to sponge, using stencils - many choices. The staff was most helpful, ready to answer any questions. A great place to go.
Such a fun creative memory!
We love this place!! Don't forget to go on Thursday !!! Its 5off any ceramic piece!
My lil girl always has a great time!
Loved the options they had to pick from, great with the kids also. Felt the space was too small for how many tables/people they have
Had fun!!
Very enjoyable studio for individuals or groups. Staff is friendly, helpful and is has knowledge of techniques to help achieve great pieces of art'
Love coming to relax and paint/glass! This place deserves much more! If there was a higher rating I would rate it higher! Amazing place!
Excellent
Always a good time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great place to spend time with friends and family resulting in a cool piece of custom art to commemorate your visit.
Friendly staff, lots of supplies, plenty of tables.
Great place to have a moment of creativity. Take a friend, family member, group or a date.
Had a cool time
Nice open space and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was great with our questions and kids making noise. They were also helpful with getting footprints from my children.
Family friendly and very self explainitory and great for if you want to paint and have a good conversation also the pottery choices are good
Everyone was nice and helpful. They didn't mind answering questions.
Fun place to paint whatever you want! Friendly staff and great turn around time in having your ceramic ready to go!
This was our first time here and it was amazing. The options were unlimited. The prices were reasonable and the staff was awesome!! They were helpful and knowledge. They came by several times to check on us and even talked about how great our pieces were with us. I will definitely be going back with more of my loved ones!!
Such a fun place! I stopped in there on a Friday night with a little boy I was babysitting. The two girls working were super friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. I haven’t painted my own pottery in years, so I definitely had a blast. FYI turnaround is roughly a week and a half-ish to get your piece back. They do a ton of business!
This is seriously one of the coolest places to relax and practice some real mindfulness. If you are at all a fan of arts & crafts you’ll have a great time. It’s never very loud, there’s plenty of space, and everyone that I have encountered so far has been very helpful in their explanations and facilitation of getting you from start to finish on your project. My days off are usually spent at this fun location. They have a plethora of options to choose from as far as whatever object you would like to paint and prices are SO FAIR considering what the piece is and how long you hang out to finish that piece. On average I spend $22-$30 each time I go. One good idea that I’ve seen parents do (in order to avoid possibly paying for four different children to each do their own project) is have two or three kids work on a family piece and take turns doing sections of it. As far as space and atmosphere, it has a large open area with many tables to choose from, as well as very good natural lighting. If you do happen to go on the weekend, just remember they are only open from 12-5 (Sundays) I would like to encourage people to understand that because you may have to use three layers of paint to get that opaque finish, please don’t underestimate how much time you may be spending there. I wouldn’t recommend walking in with any less than 2.5 hours to get to work. People that come in with about an hour of time to get things done, I do notice, are a bit rushed and maybe may not even be able to complete their art that day. They are very transparent about how long it will take to get your finished product after it has been fired in the kiln. They are over generous with this report seeing as every time I have done one, they may tell me it will not be ready for two weeks. Which is totally expectable, but honestly at this point they have called me 4 DAYS later letting me know it is ready for pickup. All in all it’s a fun, family friendly environment and the staff is always very kind and helpful.
Awesome place. Super fun for kids or adults. Employees are very nice and helpful!
Love the staff and how helpful they are. Not a cheap experience. Plan on spending 25-45 each person
The staff is most helpful and nice. The variety and examples are great. If your looking for someplace peaceful then I would suggest going to ceramic cafe.
Fun activity with friends or family and not too expensive. Great way to use creativity even if you don't consider yourself an artist.
Lots of choices of items to paint. We went for a birthday party and it was a great time.
Super nice and helpful, loved my experiment.
Very friendly and helpful employees, reasonable prices, and they accommodated a rush request for an event.
Ceramic Cafe is a lot of fun! Besides painting ceramics, I have taken my pups there to make paw print impressions on clay. The staff was very helpful. Prices are reasonable and include the firing and glazing
This is my second time visit to ceramic cafe.. I was introduced to this process when i live in Lawrence, ks. I now live in kc and will continue to go to ceramic cafe. It's very family/ kid friendly. They have high chairs if you need them. The staff knows what actual customer service is. The prices compared to other ceramic places are excellent being they have no paint/ studio fee. If you think they are pricy go somewhere else you will be back to the cafe for the customer service. Thank you ceramic cafe for helping my family create timeless memories that are forever in our home.
Tons of fun and a great variety of projects! The prices seemed fair and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Went into schedule a reservation for my granddaughter's birthday coming up in July. Staff was very friendly and super helpful prices are very reasonable for what you get to do. The pottery and Glass works that you're able to paint would be priceless as a memory plus you have your artwork or pottery that you created to display for years to come.
