After much debate about replacing our kitchen countertops we were recommended to go to The Stone Source. We were pleasantly surprised how easy they made the process of choosing a granite countertop. They came out right away and measured our kitchen and within a very short time we were getting our new countertops installed. They look amazing. We worked with several people at The Stone Source but Troy was the point of contact we worked with the most. If you ever have need of their services rest assured they will certainly make the process very smooth and you will be glad you did.

My wife and I purchased granite and tile for our kitchen and guest bathroom. For the most part, I’ve worked with Blaine. He was extremely patient and helpful in deciding on what granite to choose. He even went as far to help in the color matching of the tile and made excellent suggestions. When it came time to cut the granite, there was an issue. They were going to have to use two pieces of granite because what we had initially picked had a directional grain running through it that had to be matched because of the shape of one of our countertops in the kitchen. The price of the granite increase by $1300 because of having to use two slabs and was now out of our budget. We initially thought we would only have to use one slab. Blaine then introduced me to Dusty who was designing the cutout for our slab. Dusty took time to explain to me the issues we were facing with a seam in the granite being very noticeable and that we would not be satisfied. He was very honest with me and even went as far to say that he wouldn’t put it in his own house with such a visible seam. I appreciated that. All customers want is honesty. Needless to say, I needed to pick out a new piece of granite. I had three employees from The Stone Source helping me determine the right granite to work with. I believe we looked at two to three more and actually taking photos to upload into the program to see how each would look once cut and put together. On the date of installation, the installers did an excellent job. They were extremely courteous and conscientious. My wife and I could not be any happier.

I worked with Troy on the purchase and installation on my countertops. He was very helpful during the purchase process. He made sure everything was right and that we were happy with the product. A week or two before installing, one of their guys came out and measured my kitchen and took my sink with him so they could make the cut out. Well about a month or so after everything was complete, while I was filling the sink with water, my kitchen sink fell to the bottom of my cabinets getting water all over brand new hardwood floors that I had just recently installed. I called Troy and informed him of the mishap with the sink and the floors and he sent someone out to reinstall the kitchen sink. About a week or so later I noticed my floors began to buckle. I called Troy and asked him what could they do about the floors, being their guys were the one who installed the sink and the countertops. I provided pictures from the day of the accident and from when the floors started to buckled upon his request. Two weeks later I had to call him again because I hadn't received any word back. He told me he would talk to his partner and get back with me. Well another week past, so I called him for an update. He then informed me that The Stone Source could not be held liable for the floors and that I had to have put too much water in the sink for it to fall (I guess if it was a car that I filled with gas and the tank fell, then it would be because it had too much gas, that's what it's designed to do). He also told me to allow a fan to blow on the floors and that should straighten them out, which was something I did for the first 2-3 days following the accident. I was very disappointed with how they handled the situation, I assumed they would be more professional and stand behind the work (product and installment ). I informed Mr Troy that the entire kitchen floor did not need to be replaced, only the floors from the cabinets to about 10 feet out. I told him the floors would cost no more than 400 dollars to replace as far as purchase but he still said there wasn't anything they could do. This is after I've spent thousands of dollars to have countertops installed and was also planning on using this same company for countertops in my laundry room and all the bathrooms in my home. I purchased the floors and reinstalled them myself and my kitchen is back to normal. I would not use this company for any future work I need done. They are great as long as nothing goes wrong.

Install guys were great, not in a hurry, double checked the install, cleaned up very nicely. We are very happy with our Granite!!

Within one week, as promised, our material was delivered from New Orleans. Stone Source did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and they did it very well!! Sheree was wonderful and got the job done for us and we are very happy!!

They make it impossible to do business with. First we had to measure our own countertops and provide that to the stone source so they could give us a budgetary estimate before they would send someone out to actually give us a true quote. It's been 2 weeks and still no quote, even though Kelly Williams said we would have the quote within 2 days. I've never worked with a company that had made it more difficult for you to spend money. Needless to say we won't be doing business with them
