We are about to break ground on a new home and at that time were just wandering for ideas and enjoying the opportunity to talk to different people about their products. I wasn't really looking for a designer, but we stopped to talk to Lauren and liked what she had to say. She has since been to our current home to see how we live. We want to keep much of our existing furniture and she has come up with some floor plans to use those pieces as well as suggestions for additional items. We haven't had much opportunity to really dig into the project together, but that's coming as the house is being built and I know it will be good. She has great ideas and I'm looking forward to the rest of our project together.

When my friend and interior designer, who had helped me renovate nearly every other room in my house, retired, I panicked. She was going to help me with my final project: replace my old screened-in porch with a beautiful new sunroom. However, I needn’t have worried. I met Lauren at a New Year’s Eve party, and I hired her shortly thereafter to help me design the interior of my new four-season sunroom. My main goal was to create an oasis where I could spend time reading, working, and hosting guests. She worked with the builder to completely remove the existing screened-in porch and add a brand-new room with vaulted ceilings, skylights, heated floors, and beautiful new furnishings and décor. Lauren is very collaborative in the design process. She started by photographing the other rooms in my house to get a feel for my decorating style, and then she consulted me at every turn, including taking me shopping for furniture, shapes, and décor. The new space is not only gorgeous, but also functional. It is everything I hoped it would be. Working with Lauren was easy, and she helped me to feel confident in my design choices.
