My husband and I have worked with Barbara and Jennifer of Decorating Den (The Sisters), since 2013 and they are phenomenal! I still wake up every morning admiring how beautifully decorated my home is, never having imagined it being in magazines, on postcards, in houzz and on calendars to say the least. In 2013 my focus was on downstairs which they totally transformed,.We are currently on another project as the excitement continues in 2016 . I want to add that they are professional, they have great personalities their eye for detail and beauty are endless and they are so much fun to work with. Beautiful storefront and store but I wasn’t pleased with the service. Upon walking in no acknowledgement but once the young lady decided to greet me she was looking at me as if I didn’t belong. I had to ask her “if it’s ok to come in”. She said sure and disappeared. Remind you that I had been noticing those beautiful mustard vases that I was really interested in for months and today I felt like treating myself! I walked out peacefully and no one ever noticed.

I met Jennifer and Barbara in 2004 when I moved to Atlanta. It was my first experience working with interior designers. They were personable, professional, reliable and knowledgeable. They did an intake session with me to help identify my style and to understand what was important to me. They worked patiently with me through all of my uncertainty and indecisiveness! They took time to get to know me and through out the entire process their mission was to help shape and fulfill MY vision for my home. They were inclusive but cognizant of how much or little involvement I wanted throughout the process. I was very nervous about it all but they made it painless, exciting and fun! The results were better than I could have imagined and I could not have been more pleased. Since then, they have done 3 homes for me as I’ve relocated several times over the last 14 years, including my most recent move 6 months ago. They’ve done everything from decorating a new construction town home to making a condo turnkey down to shopping for utensils to decorating and renovating an existing home. In 14 years my tastes have changed and they’ve stayed abreast of changes in design. What hasn’t changed in 14 years is their ability to build a personal connection with their client, to provide outstanding insight and service and exceed expectations in the outcome! My home is a reflection of who I am. I feel I “belong” there. It’s such an awesome feeling to see a vision shape and come to life through their work, creativity, innovation and gentle prodding :-). I’m one of those people who breaks out in hives when it comes to thinking about things like paint color and window treatments and accent walls!!! Barbara and Jennifer always turn my dread and stress into anticipation and complete satisfaction. I love how they’ve turned a house into my home, my sanctuary. Barb and Jen make dreams come true time and time again. 14 years we’ve worked together and I wouldn’t dream of making another move without them! In my eyes they are the best. Two pint sized powerful business women who know their stuff, are tops in what they do and DELIVER, PERIOD.
