I have worked with Morrone for the past several months on a project for our home we were building, and can only describe this as one of the worst experiences I have had in terms of bad customer service and incompetence. Initially everything went well, as Audrey and my original designer were very nice and easy to talk to, and had great recommendations. Then things started to slip. A fireplace wall they designed for us was recommended based off measurements they had wrong...luckily we caught it and had to have the framers move it in order to look right. Furniture recommendations were given that didn't match our initial floor choice (which we also caught and changed), and fabric samples were sent to our house twice without ever making it to us. Our designer was always pro-active, apologetic and kind, so I forgave her mistakes. Then she left. After she left one of the chandeliers we ordered through her was discovered to have a broken part. I emailed and called Morrone immediately to let them know I needed a solution ASAP, as we were in a time crunch to get everything done in order to close on our new home. After 3 days of me having to follow up to my new contact, and her responding that she hasn't heard anything yet, I found a new chandelier through another source and asked them for a refund. Once I asked for a refund, she was miraculously able to get in touch with their vendor and send me a "replacement part".....which I am waiting for and wondering if I have to weld it together myself?! In response to my professional email asking for a refund, I received a defensive and argumentative email with statements like "short of me flying to Canada there was nothing I could do" and "unfortunately I cannot read minds"... along with a highlighted page of their terms which basically says I cannot get a refund at all, even for damaged goods. I had cc'd Audrey on most of my communications and not once did she interject or did either of them pick up the phone to discuss the matter. If they had, I would not be writing this review. I would strongly recommend you look for another designer! The team here is immature, unprofessional, and while they probably have decent design aesthetic...they are unable and unwilling to deliver good customer service. Their positive reviews are from months or years ago.
