I used Frances to complete the unfinished rooms in my house, as well as re-do completely my family room. I knew the look I was going for, but wasn't sure how to accomplish it. Frances came in and transformed my family room in to a light, comfortable, beautiful space to spend time in. The rest of the house came out beautiful as well. She kept the pieces I wanted and added new pieces to complete the look I was going for, while staying within my budget. She even moved several existing pieces of art work to different locations in the house , where they worked better. Frances gave me different options with the products she picked to make sure that I really liked the final result. I AM SO HAPPY with how the house turned out. It exceeded my expectations! I just love coming home to my pretty house. I would highly recommend her.

Frances Herrera....as a designer and professional, she is a gem!! We came from a very traditional condo into a modern "today" looking building....some of my pieces worked...but not many!!….Frances was able to find pieces that complimented what we had....and bringing our home up to date with wonderful furniture, fabrics and accessories! We didn't want totally modern.. ..just a more eclectic look and she nailed it!!!...and she's very good working with your budget! Hoping not to move again...but if we do, Frances will be our first call!

To us the most disappointing experience is when someone does a great job once.. and then seems to lose their energy and care once they have you as a repeat client. This happened to us. After killing it with an earlier project, we hired Francis again. We love the "Dayzine" make-over concept which is efficient, creative, and offers good value. NOT this time! The project dragged on.. having to chase her. The budget kept creeping up and up (Hint: make sure you lay out in writing what YOU have to pay for her quotes are NOT "turn-key"). AND ultimately she was really not present in the design and execution phases. Worst of all.. when the project was still not done... we just had to cut our losses and ask for refund for the unfinished work. This was just a kid's bedroom... not a major design overhall and we were underwhelmed throughout the process. Giving her the benefit of a doubt we did bring our concerns to her attention and offer her a chance to win back a regular client. Her answer.. was dismissive and unsympathetic: She texted us: "The room does look great and I think I achieved your goals on budget. .. I appreciate your candidness.. " Sounds to us like she doesn't need or care about repeat business .. which is good because we can no longer recommend her. Very disappointing.

Terrible service !!! Never called me back and acted like she didn’t care after the 1st time discussing my room that I wanted designed . Avoid at all costs unless you want to be ignored and lied to.

It's too bad because I thought she was really thorough, however she needs to be chased. Frances says often that she is really good at what she does, but she needs a communications & reliability course ASAP. She used to cancel several times on me. We even booked her for a speaking engagement and she canceled 1 HOUR before she was supposed to speak. Plus we promoted her. That takes some balls with a room filled with 250 people. Then we had another meeting and she brought a friend with her. Who knows WHY she was there. Maybe to talk her up. But it was odd and completely unprofessional. She REALLY talked her up. People don't forget that flakiness. In terms of her design, she has vision, BUT...the cost of chasing her, her canceling on you, the unreliability, the flakiness ...the value gets lost. She recently did our sons room and it was expensive for a kids room. She came totally disheveled like she was phoning it in. She was missing parts, like the bedding and the accessories (in a small room). She ran out to target to get minimal things and gave us the bill. I could have done that. We called her, no answer. We email her, it takes days to respond. Her "Dayzine" approach certainly takes more than a day. Pictures were hung crooked, we had to have a handy man come back to redo. We were not told about a HUGE component of the room (Smoothing out a knock down wall and a 3 days process) until AFTER we signed and she was at our place. For the amount we spent on the room, the value was NOT there and we could have done half of it ourselves. Oh...and on the install day, all the trucks and guys were there ready to unload and she was late. Didn't bother to get there ahead of time and be professional. I had to chase her

Frances Herrera is one of the most talented interior designer I have had the pleasure of working with. I engaged her to design five different rooms (all but a guest room or two) in my new condo. Everyone who’s seen the space has remarked on the elegance of the design. I selected Frances after reviewing dozens of interior designers on Houzz in my area and the photographs of her past work were unrivaled. She did not disappoint. The finished design lives up to the intended theme and I’m so pleased with the space and the process she put in place to manage expectations and timelines. I would highly recommend.
