They are energetic, professional, personable and talented. It’s a joy to watch the designer’s creative minds spinning with ideas on how they will use my product that I present to them. Their newsletter and instagram feed are full of beautiful inspirational images and tips for new design enthusiasts and seasoned professionals alike. Administratively, they are highly organized and operations run very smoothly when processing quotes / orders / payments. They are a dream client of mine! I have and will continue to recommend this company to clients looking for interior design assistance.

We bought a 3-bedroom apartment which hadn’t been updated since the early 1990s. Trying to find a professional to help us with the daunting project ,we interviewed several design firms. My husband suggested to try out a virtual designer as well but it became clear that we needed someone who was able to come to our apartment and meet with the contractors and manage the overall process. We had the best feeling with Décor Aid and went ahead hiring them to renovate and furnish our new home. My husband and I love the result and are pleased how the entire process was handled. The team was always on top of the contractor and even helped us with our board during the approval process. The designer helped us to select furniture already during the early phase which helped us to cut down on the project time. I highly recommend anyone doing a renovation to start planning out the layout and furniture early on to make up for the furniture lead times.

A big waste of time and money. Essentially Decor Aid is the middle man that matches you up with designers and contractors. They are run by people who do not care what kind of experience you have because all they are concerned with is that they get a cut from the fees for the introduction. We had a near 7 figure job to plan and execute in our new home and hired Decor Aid from the good google reviews. I should have checked out reviews from other sites since the bad ones from there are consistent with our experience. They do not show you the work of your designer and not even a full name, phone number, etc. They give you a brief bio of where they worked before and a first name only email to contact them once you put down a deposit. Promises after promises were broken and when you address it, the manager's attitude is condescending like, what is your problem kind of thing. When we had to fire them, our designer was apologetic for subpar work but the manager blatantly attacked us saying that my husband verbally abused our designer. This seems to be their MO given other reviews. We fired them only at the design stage, thank gosh. We spent $10000 just to get the design that is useless but very thankful that we didn't start the work with them. The manager was gleeful that we had to pay the rest of the balance which was sad to see over a small amount of money and showed us a complete lack of integrity. I guess whatever brings you joy.

I rarely write reviews but I was so blown away with this service that I want everyone to know how great this company is. I'm not rich and never thought I could have an interior designer style my apartment. One evening, playing around on the Internet, I came across Decor Aid. And on a whim, purchased a design consultation. Not one but two interior designers sat with me for an hour and discussed what I wanted my apartment to look like and feel like. They were so nice and completely understood what I wanted and that I had a small budget. The very next day I had a detailed proposal and by the following week a look book. All with-in budget! I'm still waiting for the pieces to arrive but am so happy with the service that I wanted to pass on the word.

I hired Decor Aid to revamp my living room and dining room as I had no idea where to start and how to make it feel contemporary without having to go through a complete renovation. My designer Elle was really fun to work with, and made the entire project feel easy and stress free. Now I can imagine she had her own dilemmas with our home, but she never let me know and was always on top of everything and hyper organized. And the discounts we received on furniture and painters really helped justify the extra cost of bringing someone in. I'm really impressed with the services the company offers, and how everything was no-nonsense.

Bad customer service and coordination skills. My wife attempted to schedule a consultation with them. After three days of them composing some very odd emails, they decided to end their last correspondence with, "sorry we don't service your area". Our address in NY is literally the first thing we have them. Get your stuff together! Very disorganized.

Worst experience with a design firm ever! The designer often ignored by suggestions and sent me designs that were the opposite of what I requested.She left the company and for weeks I was given the run around. After weeks of emails and calls, I finally heard from Sean Juneja, the CEO, and was bullied and verbally abused during our call. Needless to say, the job was not completed. The entire experience was a nightmare.

Unfortunately I had to assign one star to write a comment otherwise I would have assigned zero. To say this experience was a nightmare is a true understatement. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with; unprofessional from the absolute beginning to what I can only hope will be the end of my project in the near future. I have 400 sq ft and we are now going on month 8 and it is still not complete. If you are contemplating hiring Decor Aid, I would highly encourage you to seek other options. I had a family heirloom broken (the glass was not even cleared away) and a pendant light that I trekked all the way from Marrakech was stolen. No one bothered to take responsibility and it was basically shrugged off as an inconvenience. In addition, my apartment looks mediocre at best, I could not be more disappointed and will probably have to hire someone else who is actually capable of decorating/styling the apartment. Absolutely do not deal with Sunil Juneja or the CEO .. 100% useless.

I agree with the poor reviews, and fortunately I did not spend a lot before firing them. I should have know better when the decorator assigned would not/could not (“firm’s policy”) provide pictures of previous projects. My budget was ignored, and essentially, the design plan was what I originally suggested - no design concepts provided by them at all. When the designer started showing me colors and wallpaper that were not even close to my taste, I ended the relationship.

In about 7 weeks my designer Mark completely turned my home into something I would have never imagined. Living in a newly constructed, really basic townhouse that had about as much charm as a stick of gum, He worked tirelessly to add much-needed character and warmth from room to room.
