If you are looking for superb design skills, precision, timeliness, knowledge of products, ability to fit a budget, and problem-solving ability then I highly recommend Meadow Creek (Catherine and Barb) without reservation or hesitation. Most importantly to me, however, was that when the inevitable glitches in any construction project occur you have a design team that is your total advocate and goes out of the way in dealing with suppliers, countertop fabricators, and contractors to keep the project on track and on time. Catherine is an amazing designer to work with for all your kitchen and bathroom projects. Of course they do more than that but as a contractor I work with her mostly on kitchen and bathroom projects. She goes above and beyond to ensure everything is there for me and for customer on time and as expected. She ensures that you are getting the correct product to fit your needs. Catherine is very detail orientated and things are getting done right under her supervision. She is there when issues arrive to promptly find solution. She is warm, professional, and patient. I would highly recommend her for any remodeling project.

My experience with Barb as a designer was fantastic! She patiently listened to all my ideas about how I wanted my master bathroom and could tell me what was possible and what wasn’t. She was always conscientious about the ideas that would cost me more and was able to present solutions that would reign me into budget. She couldn’t have been more patient with redesigning when I wanted a corner moved or added cabinetry. I never felt like I was putting her out when I sheepishly changed my mind. In the end, I have a bathroom that I LOVE and a respect for the wealth of knowledge a great designer like Barb provides!

Well, after the tile installer highly recommended I reconsider my color choices, I met with Catherine. She was very patient and kind and guided me down a beautiful path that resulted in a bedroom meant for a queen and a master bath that I didn't want to leave. She was very reasonable with her prices and I have since recommended her to a friend to help with a remodel following flooding at a condo. She continues to do amazing work!

Catherine gave me a quote for my project and I thought it was a little high, so I went through Home Depot instead. What a mistake!! The project ended up taking 6 months because of all of the mistakes and was way over budget! I have learned my lesson. Stick with the professionals! I've seen their work and it is amazing!

Who wouldn’t love working with Catherine??! Not only does she have impeccable taste and design expertise, but she is conscientious, personable, and fun to work with. Catherine designed my most wonderful kitchen. She utilized every inch of weird space, and I now have even more storage than I am using! Using her as a designer, I learned of products and ideas I would not have been aware of without her expertise. After all the planning and measuring, it was really helpful to see it all 3-D in their office. I’m sure Barb has equally excellent skills, but I didn’t have the pleasure of working with her on this project. I am living a dream now in my new kitchen. Love it!

What a luxury to hire a wonderful company to update a fireplace. Catherine took me to look at stone and then hired the most amazing tile experts. This natural stone was like a puzzle and it turned out amazing. Very happy with the results and would definitely hire them again.

A friend recommended Meadow Creek. Barb was great! Excited for us, responsive to our ideas and styles, and she gently made suggestions for changes where we were getting off-track. She was mindful and understanding of our budget--which wasn't big. She found ways for us to save money that we never would have thought of. When something we'd been looking into didn't work out, she always had suggestions of how to work around it/replace it. And when all was said and done, we had the kitchen of our dreams!

This is the first designer that we have ever worked with, and being a family of public servants we are on a pretty tight budget. At the time, this company had just formed and didn't have a website, so now it's transparent that they are after clients much bigger than us. They do everything from design-only services, to full kitchen design and identifying contractors for the job. They sell cabinets, but they were about twice as much as we would have to buy for our budget. The design included cabinet measurements for their line of cabinets which has resulted in us doing additional work to try to figure out which cabinets from other lines would fit the space. I hired a designer so I wouldn't have to spend my time doing that. The customer service was lacking for us, but I bet if you had the right budget they'd be more accommodating. I did not feel like when I raised concerns that they were listened to, but rather told that the product I had received was fine "as is."

We bought a great big 1970s ranch with so much potential which we loved the moment we saw it' the only thing we didn't love was the small, dark kitchen with avocado appliances - ugh! We remodeled all the easy parts of the ranch, but I was completely out of ideas to make the kitchen more functional, add storage and make it worthy of the rest of the house. Also by this time, our budget was a bit slim for a nice kitchen or so I thought. It seemed as if I interviewed every designer in the area, but it was my lucky day when I walked into Meadow Creek Design Studio and met the owners, Barb and Catherine. These two took the time to listen to us and understood our vision and budget. Barb took the time to layout a beautiful kitchen with so much storage (it was almost magical). Meadow Creek offers many beautiful cabinet lines, tiles, and surfaces that fit our budget and looked fabulous. Once we got underway they kept things moving forward in spite of my many changes. I can't thank Barb enough for her patience, attention to the thousands of details, creativity, and the experience to pull it all together. Catherine, the numbers person, kept us on budget and was very helpful with paint selections, accessories and furniture layout as she also is experienced in Interior Design. You can't go wrong with the personal touch you will receive at Meadow Creek Design.

We had a real mess on our hands after our condo flooded. It was a good thing that we met Catherine and the team at Meadow Creek Design. They helped us restore the entire kitchen, bath, foyer and living room. The construction crew was exceptional in their attention to detail and craftsmanship. Catherine handled every question we had. She guided our decisions with her expertise in materials and design. And the team helped us stay within budget and timeline. We had procrastinated a much needed bath and closet remodel anticipating the confusing and frustrating experience that can be. Fortunately we got connected with Barb and Catherine at Meadow Creek Design. Barb immediately understood our tastes and the look we were going for. She improved on design ideas and plans we had created and was able to recommend colors and materials to achieve the look we were after. We ended up remodeling two bathrooms a closet and a laundry room. Catherine also contributed design details and both of them were very responsive with costs and product inquiries. They pretty much managed the project, which was a huge weight off of our shoulders. The end result was beautiful. The contractor they recommended (James Simmons) was the most reliable contractor we have ever worked with. We actually had some fun doing this remodel and highly recommend this design group.
