From the customized design to the installation...I could not be happier . Every aspect of my experience with this company was first class. I was nervous about working with such a large company and initially worried about getting personal service but after my initial meeting with Nick, our designer, I felt confident that he knew what I was looking for. When Nick shared his proposed design ideas, I didn't need to change a thing. Tessa worked around my limited schedule and was very flexible when setting up my installation. Luiz and his installation team were absolutely amazing. I have worked with numerous construction crews through several remodeling projects and I can honestly say they were the most professional and efficient team I have had in my home. Quality work with updated designs! Definitely would recommend and use this company again.

The installers were prompt, knowledgeable and hardworking. They got the job done quickly and the product looks good. A few weeks later they came back, free of charge, and adjusted all the shelves in one of the closets to fit the LP record collection. That's customer service!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!! Would give them -10 stars if there was a choice. They did not listen to what was wanted in a garage closet system, at all. The designer was horrendous! She kept blaming us for her lack of listening and lack of understanding what exactly was wanted when 2 of us were standing there telling her what was wanted. Only completed 1/2 of the cabinets that were requested after 1 time of getting it incorrect and having to come back and redo them!! And the amount charged is beyond ridiculous and disgusting! Will not emphasis enough to stay away from this company! There is a much better closet company in Oregon with superior product. Used them back East without any issues, but the Berkeley/San Francisco CA Closets should not be in business. We will never use them again.

We had a very positive experience working with the CA Closets folks from Berkeley. Their designer was knowledgable, and provide us with options without trying to 'up-sell'. The installers arrived as promised, did a very professional job in a very efficient manner, and made sure we were happy with the final product before they called it a day. CA Closets installed 2 walk-in closets, build out our pantry, and added cabinets in our kids bedrooms. We feel we received great value for what we spend, and I can recommend CA Closets Berkeley without hesitation.

California Closets is a terrific company that does solid work. We have used them on four separate occasions to do major room organization jobs - office, kid's bedrooms and our master closet and the work is always exemplary. Excellent design, quality workmanship, and good installation. I'm pursuing California Closets for my remaining two closets. The lighting system and hardware are quite impressive. The drawers appear to have good mechanisms. The setup really increases the usability of my closet, which is critical since my bedrooms here in San Francisco are so small that there is no room for furniture other than bed frame and night stands. (Score 10 out of 10)

I love my newly designed closets, especially the master bedroom closet. The designer Jessica Ballesteros is a joy to work with. The communication from the office to us before the installation was not good. No one phoned to confirm the date and time of the install. Then, when I called the office, I was told several different times for arrival. I wish the contact between the office and us had been better and more accurate.

This is my second experience working with CC and I could not be more satisfied! The installation that was designed maximized the limited closet space i have in my new (old) house. The crew explained what they were going to do before they started. They put down coverings for the floors to ensure no damage to them. They cleaned up very well after all was down. Bonus was they finished ahead of schedule! WIN!! Thank you CC!!

Excellent. Loved working with the designer ( Rich Cook) . He is very smart , patient and hardworking. He took time to understand my requirements and worked with me multiple times to come up with the perfect design . I got master and my son's closet done. His installation team Jeremiah and Miguel are very good. Jeremiah lead the installation very professionally and did a very clean job. They mistakenly got the glass doors instead of mirror doors. They came back 2 weeks after the install and replaced to mirror doors and my closet looks perfect now. Jeremiah is very cooperative and does a very clean job which is very important for me, i am a perfectionist. I highly recommend CA closets and specially this team. Five stars. I will use them again.

Shane, the nstaller arrived at the start of the window timeframe, called me on his way over and was very good about putting down the tarp to protect the carpet. The install went quickly and the new closet system looks great. Shane did a very nice job and was courteous.

Cannot recognized my kitchen, sometimes when I wake up early in the morning I ask my self, am I at my own house? Have so much space now for all my pots and pans, plus more, plus I got rid of ants, finally I found out where they were coming from, I had some peaces of cereal in cabinet cracks. Next project will be new closets.

She recommended a great great contractor to break down our old space in only 2.5 hours!
