Architexture is a "gem" of a store in the heart of Studio City. Traditional or contemporary, there is always a treasure to be found. Abby Rose, the owner, is truly lovely, and goes the extra mile to be accommodating, whether something is to be custom, or simply ordered. Her resources are vast, and she has well thought out suggestions and many new ideas! The entire staff at Architexture is equally as wonderful and efficient, making the entire the experience worth repeating!! I highly recommend this store to all who love their home!

My fiancé and I were window shopping one day and dropped into Architexture. We left that day committed to buying a couch from them - in large part due to the hospitality and knowledge of the employee that we met (Andrew). I had a custom living room chair made. However, it is the most uncomfortable chair I have sat in. I thought I would get used to it but that hasn't happened. I spent a lot of money. I should have made this complaint earlier but I guess I just felt bad they had gone through the work of making it. Never again!

Abby is wonderful. She was able to quickly figure out our style and create a design that was unique and beautiful but consistent with our taste. As clients, we needed a gentle push to take slight risks and Abby did so very adeptly, always giving us options to ensure we were comfortable. She refers to her designs as “stories,” such that each room tells a story, and we feel that rings true. A unique and beneficial aspect of working with Abby is that she has her own store and handles the manufacturing of custom furniture out of her store so in many cases we were able to visit the store and see furniture and other items in-person before making final decisions. We will definitely use Abby again and highly recommend her.

Since my husband and I have no design skills, Abby actually came to our house and helped us choose the right furniture, rug, pillows and drapes. She even designed custom chairs to replace our old dining room chairs that were peeling all over the floor. And she did it all within our limited budget.
