My husband and I had a good idea of what we wanted and our design style, but we didn’t know how to tie everything together. Because we favor contemporary design it was also important to make sure the condo felt cozy and welcoming. One of our favorite perks of working with Decorilla was the discounts they offered. Decorilla offers designers with encyclopedias of great design, manufacturers, and sources. They have an intrinsic understanding of proportion and dimension, explaining which rules you can break/ follow given your particular floor plan. Overall the process with Decorilla was super easy and lightweight; a great thing for someone like me who needed someone to help me hone in my tastes, research options, and help me pull the trigger on purchases. I was really excited to try Decorilla to refresh our home office It far surpassed my expectations! The process to submit was easy and gave plenty of direction on how to advise the designers. The designers clearly put a great deal of time into the designs, and I was surprised how well they captured our style. After choosing our designer, Anna worked with us to tweak the design to be exactly what we wanted. She was incredibly responsive with so many great ideas. We had previously worked with designers from specific stores which can be limiting and were concerned about the cost and finding the right fit with a specific designer. Decorilla solves those issues. The cost is set and considerably less than a traditional designer, and the designers were respectful of the budget. There was never pressure to buy a certain item. The new office looks great and now fits with the style of our home. I would highly recommend Decorilla!

HORRIBLE- I was excited about this service at first only to become very disappointed. I provided pictures and detailed information. The "designers" ignored everything and sent me 2 renderings of something that looked like it was pulled from Pinterest. Very generic. Ugly. No thought went into this. There was no "Creativity" at all. I requested my money back because I felt I was scammed. I would never use this again and I would NEVER recommend these people to anyone. It was A BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!

The customer service and ordering teams were a huge help when I had to deal with a backordered item from a furniture vendor. They took care of all the hard work and I just had to place everything in the right place. We were so skeptical in the beginning and not sure if we were making the right decision choosing Decorilla but we are in love with this company now. The designer we worked with was so knowledgeable and thought of things I could have never dreamt up. They designed our master bedroom and the kids bedroom and we loved both. I’ll keep using Decorilla until I run out of rooms and our home looks better than I thought it could (especially for the price we paid and discount we go buying the furniture from them). My parents have also used them after seeing our new decorated bedrooms. I was initially hesitant to write this review because it’s a nice hidden secret, but they completely deserve it.

We had a very negative experience with Decorilla. The whole process took way longer than anticipated (3 months for 2 rooms -- really one large room), and required us to provide extensive, daily, detailed feedback to our designer (who you never speak with in person, by the way). Ultimately, the proposed plans added no value to the contractor who had to start from scratch (a skilled contractor provided more ideas and value than Decorilla did in 3 months, and they provided these ideas for free). The Decorilla process is truly laborious, overly expensive, and ultimately added very little value. By the time we finished the design about 50% of the items we had spent months picking were gone (the shopping list and discounts are not available till the end). The designers requires so much input that you may as well do the design yourself. Not to mention, the discounts they offer are not unique (easy to get a 15% off C&B with new movers, etc) and created a huge headache for picking up orders. In short, we really regret that we used Decorilla. It really delayed us instead of sped us up. We felt we had bad customer service, and got very little to no value from the work. Complete waste of money!

I don't normally write reviews, but my recent experience with Decorilla was so awesome that I wanted to let you know about it. I run a software development company and often have clients and prospects over to our office to get comfortable with our team. Till recently, our office was pretty bland and uninspiring. I wanted to go for a more Silicon Valley look that represents the cutting edge technology we develop. A friend of mine had used Decorilla and recommended it to me. The process was very simple and straight forward. I uploaded some photos and a floor plan. Within a few days I received several designer proposals. I made a couple of tweaks to one then had the option of purchasing furniture through the site. The whole process took about 3 weeks from start to finish. Very easy and now the office looks very impressive. My clients have mentioned it several times.

To say that the interior designers at Decorilla are good is an understatement. They are amazingly talented and dedicated designers who wants to make your living space look great. But, you know what else they do really well? Building relationships. Joyce, my designer, has been working with me for the past year to get my room done. As I had trouble buying everything right away, she was more than willing to work with me until the room is complete. She's open to suggestions, takes my comments to heart and never pushed anything on me. She would even check up on me to make sure things are moving along. She's a very gregarious person, which makes communicating with her easy. And the final product? Let's just say I've been receiving a lot of compliments from my friends. I can't recommend them enough!

We are so happy with our new kitchen design. We reached out to Decorilla for the complete remodel of our kitchen. We were skeptical about doing such a big project with an online design company, but we’re so incredibly glad we decided to work with them! We did all the demo and construction outsourcing on our own, which I was comfortable taking on. The moodboard and renderings were very helpful when communicating with contractors and painters. We received up to a 30% discount at a few places by ordering through Decorilla as well. The process took a while because of the detail that went into it, but we definitely feel like we got a great quality design!

tl;dr Decorilla took us - an aesthetically-challenged couple - and put us in a wonderfully designed, boldly done house. They took the stress and guesswork out of designing the house with professional designers, true-to-life 3D renderings, color selection, custom shopping lists of everything from paints to lighting to furniture and post-design consultation. And at a fourth the price we would have paid a traditional designer. When it was all done, it felt like we designed the house ourselves, minus all the stress. Without Decorilla, we would probably be living in a house with the usual earthy browns, bundled sheaf in the corners, stock photo frames on the walls - too meek to make any bold moves. Now, we love coming back home to a place of vibrance and commune. Our friends love to hang out at our place. Decorilla is a no-brainer for someone like us. We recommend Decorilla to all our friends. Long story: When we bought a house, we wanted it to be unique to who we are but at the same time tastefully done. We had a lot of fragmented ideas of what we wanted in the house but both of us are too aesthetically challenged (sort-of) to bring all those ideas together into something that could work. Also, having just purchased the house, we were on a rather tight budget. Local interior design consultants in our area were charging about $6500 on an average. We stared at each other when Joyce (of Decorilla) mentioned that we could hire a consultant for a fourth that price. The sample transformations advertised on the Decorilla website were very promising. It was a risk-free option, where we could back out if we were not happy with the initial proposals, so we decided to give Decorilla a try. We chose Rachel to design our child's room and Tabitha to design the living space. Both wonderful designers. What came out of this was bold and unique. Both designers chose vibrant color and decor for the rooms (the way we wanted it). The rooms were unique to who we are as people - and distinctly different from every other house we have seen. We would probably never have been able to do that ourselves. We would probably never have had the confidence to choose the colors that Rachel and Tab chose and make them work. The decor was within the budget that we initially decided on, so it was not taxing on our wallets. The true-to-life 3D renderings that Rachel and Tab gave us took the guess work out of our decision. Before we spoke to the contractors, we knew exactly how the house was going to look, what the lighting was going to be like and what the furniture would look like. We went back an forth with design changes and both designers worked patiently with us till we had something we liked. The shopping list they put together for us meant we could shop from the convenience of our desk. Agnieszka even did the shopping for us and passed on to us all the merchant discounts. When we changed our mind about some products we received, she helped communicate with the seller to get us replacements and refunds. Everyone who walks into the house has great things to say: the house is different, bold and put together really well. We have seen too many houses badly done because people didn't know how to bring their wonderful ideas together. When we look at those now, we have one word for them: Decorilla. We have a few more rooms we want to get done later this year, and we know exactly where we'll go to get our designs.

Let me start by saying, my husband and I have completely different tastes for interiors and it’s been something we’ve struggled with for a long time! After feeling hopeless of ever having a beautiful home that “works” I found Decorilla and decided to give them a shot. When we purchased our new home there was a lot of work to be done. Every wall needed to be painted and I was at my wits end. My husband and I both work from home on a regular basis, so I knew we needed to reach out to the professionals so our home office could function properly from the get go. My designer was extremely knowledgeable and qualified for the job and I was very impressed with his creative thinking to maximize the space. We converted two apartments into one larger apartment, but even still had many space constraints to deal with. I was pleasantly surprised to talk to a real person who was able to answer all my questions. I didn’t have much of a budget and that was not a problem for them. I love West Elm and had my heart set on a few specific items, so you can imagine I was extremely happy to find out I’d be getting a discount on them. I reached out to Decorilla on a whim, not really knowing what to expect. I was looking for help with our nursery design because I was very busy. I approached them with a short timeline and they exceeded my expectations. The interior designer I worked with was so friendly and quick to respond. There was some back and forth of emails at the beginning of the process but then the designer made the room not only beautiful but so functional. Decorilla took so much stress off my plate during my last few months of pregnancy. Hiring them was one of the best decisions I made for my new baby and I. I’m so happy with my new living room design! Our designer was so helpful and really listened to our wants and predicted our needs. We had some interesting requests due to having 4 small children and she delivered on everything we asked for! I could have never imagined that we would have such a beautifully designed room for my family and I to make many great memories in. I reached out to Decorilla with an extensive design project. The design of my home required more than the typical online project as I needed elevations and detailed floor plans in order to complete renovations. Decorilla came up with a custom package for me that was exactly what I needed. In addition, the renderings were incredible and helped me visualize exactly how my home was going to look post construction. I couldn’t hire a contractor service through Decorilla platform because of my location and it was initially a big concern, but I was able to get some in-person hours from my designer and they helped me with the project execution.

DECORILLA pays someone to write these ridiculous reviews about how great their service is when in reality it stinks. Their designers DO NOT and can not perform at high interior designer levels. We used them and it took my designer weeks just to get a 3d model of our space. Like really? Who has this time when we are working people? If you're looking for an online interior designer --DO NOT USE DECORILLA. Their reviews are fake, and the companies designers NEVER went to interior designer schools. As far as we know they probably just went to high school. (That is how BAD their work is) Pay a higher price and go elsewhere and GET QUALITY. Decorilla gives you a headache, and you'll be paying another interior designer to start the work because DECORILLA never did.

When we purchased our new home there was a lot of work to be done. Every wall needed to be painted and I was at my wits end. My husband and I both work from home on a regular basis, so I knew we needed to reach out to the professionals so our home office could function properly from the get go. I had a Pinterest board full of inspiration but no idea how to implement it. The Decorilla process was very straight forward and easy. Within a week of reaching out we had two designer proposals for our home office and we could pick who to continue working with. We had a clear favorite but also loved some elements the other designer had, so we asked our chosen designer to incorporate those as well. The whole process was pretty fast from start to finish. Our designer was very responsive to our questions and always responded within a day. Online interior design is such a great way to save money but still have a professionally designed space! We also love the discounts they pass on with our favorite stores. If we had gone out and bought all of this on our own we would have been paying much more. I am so glad we hired Decorilla in the midst of our move. After comparing them with other online interior design services we decided they would be the right fit for us. What sold me was their 3D renderings. I am not a good visualizer and it made me feel so much more comfortable implementing the design when I could see it in 3D prior to making any purchases. In my apartment, I was faced with the dilemma of furniture that no longer fit my aesthetic and an odd shaped space with no clue where to start. We received two designer submissions and choose who we wanted to continue working with after evaluating both moodboards. We loved our designer. What a difference great design makes! Thank you for helping me stop using an old cardboard box as a night stand and learn to appreciate reclaimed wood and a rustic look. I have never had an easier (or more enjoyable time) designing my space. The price made working with Decorilla really accessible and I stopped putting off decorating my space -- because I finally had Decorilla to lean on. I know it sounds strange, but I had FUN working with them and going back and forth to come up with a design for my space. My designer was extremely knowledgeable and qualified for the job and I was very impressed with his creative thinking to maximize the space. We converted two apartments into one larger apartment, but even still had many space constraints to deal with. It was a breath of fresh air throughout a stressful renovation process knowing that I was able to contact my designer whenever I needed to. The 3D renderings were stunning. They were exactly what I needed to visualize the space and solidify all the design decisions. I also have to complement the Decorilla ordering team. They took care of all the coordination and delivery for each and every item on my shopping list which was a huge help to me. I had a few issues with furniture coming in damaged, or the vendor sending the wrong item, and the Decorilla team took care of the returns and coordinated the new arrivals. They can be very efficient, but after working with them multiple times over the last few months, they cause way more issues than they are worth. I was never informed of delayed deliveries, things were not deliviered on time, when i paid extra for things to be set up, things were not set up even after i had waited 21/2 months for it, then an additional month for the furniture to be set up. They do have a good return policy, and they are quick to get back to you with concerns. Many times, when you do voice a concern prior to an issue, it isn't taken into account, while this is the reason that usually causes the issue in the first place. Also i had expected and requested to stay in a sepcific price range, that wasn't taken into account whatsoever, spent nearly double as what i had requested.

My home was stuck in the 90s and needed a major update. While I would love to start from scratch I couldn’t change everything. Upon my first one-on-one phone consultation, I explained how I needed to keep the majority of my existing furniture but I wanted the space to feel new and updated. I was hoping that a new layout and fresh take on things would give me the refresh I was looking for. I had no clue how to merge my love for Asian and Tuscan décor into a room that made sense. My expectations were far exceeded when I received my room design. I was blown away at the attention to detail my designer paid and how cohesive all the new pieces looked with my old ones. The process was very professional. One of my favorite design elements has to be the custom window treatments. I would have never imagined our living room and dining room could look this spectacular.

I went through Decorilla’s in-home process after calling the firm and reading the reviews. They were very helpful in providing all the options and laying out what I could expect. I needed custom built-ins and a fireplace solution in addition to decorating my living room. I was too busy to do any of the work myself. Kerry came for the initial consultation. She had a great sense of colors and style and she was SO DOWN TO EARTH (a pleasant surprise). During the consultation she was able to give us some great ideas in terms of layout and maximizing the space, she took measurements and uploaded everything including photos to our Decorilla project. Within a week we got TWO concept proposals from Kerry and another designer on the Decorilla team. We loved Kerry, but she told us to pick the concept that matched our style best. She said she’d help us implement the design regardless of the concept. We worked with Rachel to refine the design and were blown away by the results! Decorilla helped us source most items at a discount because of their vendor relations. Rachel provided a realistic model of the living room, lighting plan, and documents for the built-ins. They also happily gave me contractor recommendations that I actually used because the price was better than I could get on my own. Kerry supervised the contractors in person and helped with implementation. Overall I really felt like everyone on their team was looking out for me and their recommendations came with no strings attached. I never felt pressured to buy anything like I did with other designers in the past. The finished result was brilliant and the level of service that I received by far exceeded the price that I paid in terms of expertise and contacts shared, mistakes avoided, furniture discounts, etc. It was a delightful experience.

A really great experience. I was a little apprehensive at first to do interior design in such a non-traditional way. But, I decided to give it a shot. It was seamless! They really do offer 20% off of many retailers, and in our situation that more than paid for itself. I saw all the great reviews and decided to give them a try. We set up everything on line and one of their local designers came out to my home to take measurements the very next week. My husband and I were skeptical in the beginning about using online interior design service for our home. We kept going back and forth between using in-person designer and giving Decorilla a try. In the end, we used both and ended up loving our experience with Decorilla a lot more. In a few short months, we have completed 3 projects with MaryBeth, our designer. We might be done for now but if we plan to refresh any of the spaces in our home, we know we will be reaching out to Decorilla! Our experience started with a few email exchanges with Devin who was so patient in answering all of our questions. Once we decided that we wanted to work on my husband's home office/studio, Devin got us set up with Decorilla's online platform where we uploaded photos and submitted our brief. A few days later, two designers submitted their mood boards and we knew right away that MaryBeth, our designer "gets us"! Working with her has been very easy and fun! She was responsive, efficient, and really talented. After we gave an OK to the mood board, 3d renderings were created so we could really see how everything would look. They were so neat and beautiful. Once we finalized all the pieces we wanted to buy, the shopping list was created for us. We then worked with Samantha to place our orders. Samantha has been amazing and super responsive! She has helped us keep track of all our shipments. She also let us know when it was cheaper for us to buy certain items directly. After a very positive experience with the first room, we also had MaryBeth worked on our living room and our master bedroom and we are so happy with how all the rooms turned out! Since we now have experience using both in-person interior designer and Decorilla, we can share that Decorilla is a great alternative and a much more affordable option if you are more hands on with decorating your home (which we are). We were able to complete 3 rooms and paid a lot less than what we paid our in person designer for one space!

Having recently moved to New York City and needing to furnish a second home from scratch, the thought of designing and furnishing a place was daunting to say the least! I personally did not have the time to find a designer or attempt to do this on my own. I found Decorilla on the internet and thought I would try the process. Working with the Decorilla team, they quickly came up with several designs from which to choose from in a 3 dimensional model that incredibly looks like the final real life pictures. My personal Decorilla designer worked closely with me on all aspects on the design, right down to the color of the paint. She then provided her personal oversight on the project ensuring quality and prompt delivery. Given that we had to order “everything”, there was quite of bit of coordination and quality control required. Online interior design is the way to go if you want a straight forward, budget friendly option for a designer home. My family and I reached out to Decorilla after we had started the building process on our new home. I honestly wasn’t sure whether an online interior designer would be able to help with material selection but that was a non-issue. Not only was our designer able to help us choose what finishes to use, but we also received discounts on so many thing that really helped our budget go further. We enlisted help with our bedroom, bathroom, and dining room design. Our house isn’t the biggest so the layout was tricky as we needed to most amount of storage possible. It was very easy to communicate all of our concerns and needs with our design on Decorilla’s online platform. The overall presentation of everything was very professional and we never doubted our designer’s experience. She definitely knew what she was talking about! I have an open concept home and had no clue how to arrange it. I wanted the space to feel full and welcoming, but the furniture I had wasn’t cutting it.
