If I could I would give doctor McDonald negative stars he is rude to my father an gives the worst care possible I’m by far from being pleased with his care and so is my father they should have doctors who actually care an don’t patronize they patients I have literally never met an doctor that’s so rude inconsiderate for their patients no type of bedside manners an it’s not the first time my dad has been treated poorly here.... Dr.prior is no better now my dad is really considering selling our house to move to a new state to receive the proper care he deserves an needs I can’t believe my father has been receiving such poor care well now that I know how he’s treated it won’t be anymore all vets all deserve good proper care not horrible doctors that really don’t care about their pain ptsd amputations anything these vets deserve so much better

I was just curious if there was anyway a patient, or interested veteran looking to utilize his or her time at the wellness center efficiently could volunteer to work outside of the mandatory classes because the wellness center is always closed during the va workers regular hours and my schedule is open on wednesdays and fridays from 4pm to 9pm. I was also looking for a visitors guideline book for building 87 treatment area as my visitor and I are getting a little frustrated at the nonsense of dos and dont when its kinda complicated when I am on lockdown for the first week or two......thank you for everything by the way as I look forward to getting adjusted to my new environment.....I appreciate the cooperation in a time of confusion and anxiety this curriculum, job, or tasks our higher superiors demand, whoever that may be.....We Strive for the Best in the toughest of times.....Thank you and sincerely.....Grant A. I cannot stress enough that something has changed with our healthcare. This facility is a little dated BUT the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, scheduling was amazingly fast and all my follow ups are going to be with civilian doctors closer to my locations. Thank you Staff and Thank you current administration.

How can you expect to help anyone with ptsd when you have people like Mr. pack who is a complete deviant and just rude and cold? I’m sorry but crazy cannot help crazy. Get some better staff.

The staff are great, they go out of their way to help the residents with the program when they can, but this wasn't what I was expecting for the treatment I needed. I am still working with the same issues as before. Now I have worse nightmares and nightterrors. The program is more geared towards substance abuse issues, of which I can say I have none (Thank God). I wanted to take some time to think about what it is that I wanted to say and how to say it.

The people are nice and staff are very helpful. I wish I knew about this place years earlier. I have PTSD with alcohol issues and they are working with me on these issues.

No EMDR PTSD treatment, long wait times for everything, preferental treatment. Wow this va could be a lot better. I cannot even post with my married name for fear of retaliation.

Applyed for travel pay and the "messanger" as she kept refering to herself as told us my husband doesn't qualify because I make to much money and the VA owes him nothing. It is his choice to go to the VA from military sustained injuries.

When in there for pain in hip. They caught life threatening condition. Ended up being a long couple of days for me. And a probably a long recovery. But was caught very early. Well done!

I had the same doctor for almost twenty years. Dr. Wendell J. Robison. I was able to call Brenda, his scheduler and get in right away. When I got the letter that He wasn't going to be my doc anymore I almost left. I got Dr. Chris Prior.

Sheridan VA is a great place full of caring people who take veterans care very serious and with great compassion. I'm a veteran.

Such a beautiful place to find yourself with the aid of nature and the staff .This VA hospital is the must go to.place with help for PTSD and other combat injuries. I recommend any one struggling to ask their therapist to send them to this VA.They know what they are doing.You have to be true to yourself and open up.It is a safe place to do it!
