There was a problem with ALL staff that I came in contact with years ago (neglegence put my life at risk, DVT) not long after that experience the hospital realized it needed to wake up (not because of my DVT) it started remodeling not only the hospital but patient care people to people I have found the attitudes, of nurses excellent NURSE'S are very helpful/careing, which is a huge part of a patient's speedy recovery to being homeward bound.

This place needs to be wiped off the map. I would suggest driving to the next hospital. In 2015 this place killed my daughter’s mother with incompetence. I just had a baby there last week. Of course, I was concerned because of previous experiences. So I ask as many questions as possible... Doctors don’t like to be questioned. I explained my concerns and previous experiences. They call security. What a great way to make me feel at ease. This place is a joke. Don’t take your loved ones here.

I read the reviews of this hospital and I am shocked at the bad reviews. I was taken care of from the moment I walked in. The techs,nurses, and Doctors are fantastic! Iam new in town and they helped me with finding the Specialist that I need. Thank you to each and everyone of you. Great Job!

Poor. Was not even treated for what was wrong. Ended up going to Spearfish, SD hospital to get proper treatment. Contacted patient experience who blew us off and said they would write off $200. Spearfish ER total before insurance was $300, where they did 5 times the testing. Thanks for nothing but a $2000 bill for not helping us at all. Even the doctors and nurses said they can't say it out loud but if it was them or their family member they would not go to their own ER in the hospital they work at! Says a lot!

I haven't had problems with the workers in CCH but have nothing but disgust with the people who planned and built this crazy building. Did anyone ever mention to the the planners and builders the meaning of the words vertical and elevators or do they only know horizontal and walk. You know that many people who go to a hospital have a health problem and some can't walk too well, ( an understatement). I have had a back operation and can't walk too well. After walking from the parking garage to the entrance of the hospital, I am not at all ready to walk all the way to the the check in and then to what ever rooms I need to go to. And when you do more building, you still go horizontal. It is disgusting. It would be decent of you to have lots of people in the parking lot and in the lobby to give wheel chair rides. And a chair or 10 along the way for people to rest when there is no one to give them a ride would be great. I have been moved to tears several times when I got so tired getting to where I was going. I thought of sitting on the floor but had too much pride. And by the by. I sure hope I don't get a reply from that PIO Felicia for she writes the same thing for every critical review. Is she too busy to be personal?

Worst customer care, I simply asked for the results and got called a D*ck by a Nurse as well as yelled at by a doctor for asking her for the results. The worst care and rudest people at any health care facility I have ever dealt with in my entire life, sooo disconcerting!!! I later called to talk to an administrator about our visit and proceeded to get laughed at and hung up on.

I came in with tooth pain, they acted like I was seeking narcotics when all I asked for was a generic or cheaper brand of antibiotics to keep the infection away, doctor John Kerr proceeded to tell me the infection was gone yet I had just went to the dentist yesterday and they said the infection was not gone and that's why they prescribed me the antibiotics in the first place (they cost too much which is why I asked for cheaper) I'm currently unable to eat or sleep, and he said that my issue was not an emergency.

The billing department submitted my bill incorrectly to my secondary insurance. After speaking with my secondary insurance, I called the hospital back and asked them to resubmit the bill to my secondary insurance. After agreeing to do so, they sent it to COLLECTIONS instead. Way to support your veterans CCMH!!!! What is the point in having a secondary insurance when its easier for them to send the matter to a debt collector rather than submit it to your insurance company.

My grandma went to this hospital 4 times in one week. They refused to do any scans for her to see what was wrong, told her she had stomach ulcers and sent her home. My grandma died 5 days later of congestive heart failure, multiple blood clots in both lungs, and an undiagnosed case of Hep. C. She’d still be here in they had just done their jobs.

Campbell Cnty Hospital has never been a good Hospital. Doesn’t matter how many improvements are made to the building, the majority of the staff are still horrible and unprofessional.

I've taken my small child to the ER, I've gone to the ER for myself, I've seen three different types of specialists, had an out patient surgery done at the surgery center, and our pediatrician is here. Every interaction with all the doctors, nurses, and other staff members has been amazing. They are friendly, quick, honest, and knowledgeable about their specialities. They take their time to explain anything and answer any questions. For what I would consider a smaller town I feel like you get care of a much larger hospital. The facilities are great and specialist are quality professionals. I hate the need to go to the hospital, but I certainly appreciate the convenience of having such a quality healthcare system here in our community.

Is it true that the hospital charges three times what Medicare pays? And do you post what you charge online? I looked and there was no place to see. This seemed to be a very sore spot when I called. I got most of my information out of the News Record.

Arranged dialysis while visiting from Arizona. From the coordinator to the admitting staff to the dialysis nurses, everyone was awesome. They were so friendly and professional. They eased my 87 year old mothers concerns and were so kind. Thank you everyone!

I don't like hospitals, most are sterile and cold. CCMH does not feel that way. All the staff I met with were very kind. When I got lost there was always someone near by to help me find the right place.

I've gone to this hospital countless times. For colds, injuries, emergencies, baby deliveries, surgeries, testing, and I have always had a good experience. There's stupid people everywhere you go, or incondiserate staff. However, I very much enjoy CCMH. They're very clean and well organized. I don't understand why it has such poor ratings on here. We are very blessed to have this hospital.

I have a bad heart valve and it limits my mobility because of shortness of breath. I have been transported to the ER by ambulance on several occasions. For routine cardiologist appointments i use the parking valet service followed by an aide transporting me via wheelchair to my 3rd floor appointment. I have always been treated with the utmost courtesy and respect.

The worst hospital ever. Took myself in to get guidance and help to become healthier and was there talked to the lady for 5 minutes and was given a paper that did not help at all and was sent away with a $108.00 bill, was sent to pulmonologist because my general doctor had concerns about me not getting rid of a cough for 6 months and was told there is nothing we can do this says you had bronchitis it was treated bye! Sent a $150.00 bill. Tried to call today to find out how much I owe for this non-service and no one answers the phone. WHAT A FLIPPING JOKE!!!! HORRIBLE!!

1st I'd like to say I don't give out 5 stars easily but the way I was treated by everyone on the ER staff on Dec 12/09/17 they deserve it. I went in with terrible pain on left side of my face and it was so swollen. ER was totally swamped & I was there around 6hrs but you'd never know it. I never felt I was forgotten cause someone always came in 2c how I was doing. I would recommend Dr Stolpe and the staff to anyone. Thank you so much again

As a 35 year resident of Campbell County my mother has Ms having comstant chronic pain took her there all they did was x-rays blood test and then said we don't know what's wrong gave my mom a Big Bill and a $5 Chinese made door exercise contraption three weeks later she's still in pain and all they say is we don't know what's wrong? this place is one of if not the worst Hospital in the state of Wyoming and I've been in Campbell County for almost 35 years this place is beyond A joke and I've heard from others, the quality of care and service is also bad from people from Newcastle Wright and Gillette residents so this is not just a fluke or an isolated case like others have said I would absolutely for your own the best interest and health and well-being Id take my business elsewhere they talk a good game about empathy compassion and caring and professionalism but the reviews and the Word of Mouth from the residents that live in the towns in and around Gillette prove and state otherwise!

This hospital is a joke. The nurses here are so rude. They had nothing polite to say to us at all. We have been asking for help and information but got denied every single time. My mom was in horrible pain to the point where she couldn't even speak. This hospital is pathetic and I hope they learn how to treat families. If you have time to kill and a small injury then this is the perfect place for you. If you have a life threanting injury you will not get the attention and help you need. I pray for the families that don't get what they need from this hospital.

Emergency room check-in and wait time is ridiculously long at CCMH and they do NOT care. I waited 4hours with my crying 2year old who split his head open 1.5" to the bone! I finally called a surgeon here in town and they got him in as soon as we got off the phone. Thankfully their office was just across the road! My family avoids using the hospital here in Gillette when possible and it's worth driving over a hundred(s) miles to receive better care and lower rates. To top it off all paitent payments are now turned over to collections "Receivable Solutions" (who are thankfully wonderful, btw), period! They do not handle self pays or anything insurance doesn't cover!!! Appears to be ran like a crooked business. *PIO Felicia? Your copy and paste response to everyone who posts a rating is cheap and a pathetic effort! It just goes to show how you people run CCMH. It's cold and robotic just like your operation of moving people that need help through and then cashing out with the main focus of putting big bucks in the hospital's pockets.

I took my boyfriend to the ER last night due to still have a lot of pain from a motorcycle accident almost 3 wks ago. They ran tests an d we found out he had not one but 7 broken ribs!!! The dr was Awesome and we had a Fabulous nurse! This was all missed by going to the ER in Custer so we will definitely continue care in Gillette!!!

This hospital is a joke. If you can possibly go anywhere else, please do. You will be waiting for an hour just to get to a room and then you will wait for a doctor for another hour. The nurses are rude and the patient life doesn't seem to matter. I don't recommend it. If possible go anywhere else.

I’ve been to this hospital and walk-in in clinic many times over the last 6 years. It is always clean and full of professional compassionate staff.

Not sure why people complain, try going to a hospital pretty much anywhere on the east coast! This was the quickest I have ever gotten checked in, spoke with the doctor, had a CT scan, and diagnosed with a treatment plan and out! I was in and out in 4 hours for something that would have been an all nighter back home. The staff were awesome especially Santana and the other nurses (sorry I can't remember everyone's name) Doctor Dickey was patient and very thorough in his explanations! I think some people watch too much TV and expect a definite answer to their ailment, we weren't able to figure out a specific cause if mine but we eliminated the major concerns I had and hopefully the treatment prescribed will do the trick! Thank you to everyone in the ER!

My mother was in severe back pain and could not even move and in the process of being in the waiting room, we had 8 people go in front of us. Patient life doesn't seem to matter and the nurses have serious attitude problems. I've never been so disgusted by a facility in my life. If you can possibly go anywhere else please do. You will have better chances and you will get help faster.

I honestly don’t think you could find a worse hospital in the country. This is like the anti Mayo. It’s a Dirty place, with completely unhelpful and unsympathetic staff. The minute they realized we had quality insurance the list of tests grew 10 fold. $15,000 for seven stitches.Hopefully someday you’ll be as ashamed of yourselves as everyone else is of you. The oath your doctors take “do no harm”... have you ever stopped to think of the financial harm you do and how impactful that can be on peoples lives. I’m sure you find ways to justify it, but deep down you know it’s just disgusting.

If you would like to put yourself in massive debt and not fix anything that you originally came to fix this is your place. Or if you feel like dieing over something as small as a splinter that got infected go right on ahead. This facility should be shut down, gutted, and completely restaffed. How this hospital still operates is nothing short of a tragedy.
