Dr Bartosh and Kim Squires are who my son has been going to since his acute illness in 2004, when things were touch and go. Both people are amazing at what they do. This hospital and all the folks who worked in the picu were outstanding, and Dr Linsey Johnson, a resident in '04, and Dr John, a fellow, saved our sons life. After a cardiac arrest, Dr Linsey Johnson began CPR with chest compressions and Dr John pumped in air with the hand pump. They both saved his life , didn't give up after more than twenty minutes of CPR. As his mom, I want to thank ALL staff of the Uw children's hospital for your tireless efforts with every child you help, and their families. We were there from September 2004 until we could take our son home, on my birthday November 17th, 2004. He will be 17 years old in a few weeks because of the staff at the hospital, and now the specialty nephrology clinic . I would not hesitate to tell anyone to take their precious child there. Thank you!
