The gift shop is AMAZING for floral delivery! I called to order flowers to be delivered to my mom. The super friendly staff member verbally walked me through all the bouquet options in my price range, helped me pick one, and took payment right away. Then she said they would deliver in 15 minutes and confirm they had the right room!!! That was fantastic service!!!

I went to this hospital for day surgery. The whole process was wonderful. A volunteer took us from the front desk to day surgery. Check-in was a breeze. There was only a short wait before we were taken to my room. My primary nurse was very friendly, cheerful, and helpful (all of which are important when you are having surgery, since you are yourself probably quite anxious). My OR nurse and recovery nurses were also wonderful. The environment was very clean and everything appeared to run in a well organized manner. My wife was also well cared for. They answered her questions nicely, treated her in a friendly manner, showed her how she could keep track of my status, showed her where to wait, etc. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

I have had 1 emergency c-section and 1 planned c-section, my gallbladder removed, my appendix removed, and I received my breast cancer diagnosis, power port placement, and mastectomy all through Waukesha Memorial. I also went through 24 weeks of chemo, and 28 rounds of radiation through the DN Greenwald Center in Mukwonago (which is affiliated with Waukesha Memorial Hospital). I have NOTHING but great things to say about this hospital. They have always taken superior care of me while I'm there, and I have been to or stayed in many areas of that hospital (including the ER, where I had absolutely no issues). The doctors, surgeons, nurses, and staff there are amazing at what they do, and I don't think there are enough "thank you's" in the world for me to express my gratitude for how comfortable they made me feel during each of my stays there. You just don't get better health care than this place...every single one of my doctors and surgeons have made me feel like a priority, and not just another patient number. The nurses and nurses aids have done an impeccible job at making me feel comfortable and well taken care of. And, (as a bonus) they have good food! I felt this review was necessary considering some of the other "reviews" that have already been posted. I hope, by reading this, you'll disregard some of the other stuff that has been said...considering my extensive patronage of this hospital, I think I would know what I'm talking about. :)

Great doctors, a bit overpriced.

This place puts smiles on people’s faces, I come here often for various medical needs and they are a bit overpriced but besides that they are a nice place to go to for any emergencies and heath needs. Waukesha is a big community and they are glad to have a hospital like this. It puts smiles on peoples faces.

I went to this place once, because an EMT asked someone who felt like they were dying if they felt like they needed to go to the hospital. (If the EMT had done their job instead it would have been fine.) At the hospital they did not respect the fact that I'm trans. The doctor was was extremely dismissive of the fact that my throat was too dry to be able to talk. And on top of it all, ultimately nothing was done other than they took me to the hospital for no reason. That's not the reason I'm writing today. This event Happened January 2015. I'm writing this today because at the time I had really good insurance that let an ER visit only cost $400. The next day I paid $400. Unfortunately I paid cash and hadn't learned the calueof receipts. 1.5 years later I finally received a notice that they were claiming I didn't pay it. I was freshly moved half way across the country at the time. So I couldn't dispute it. I tried over the phone but I kept getting put on hold. Waukesha Memorial Hospital has ruined my credit. I was in the upper 700s at the time. I've clawed my way back to the mid 500s but I can't do anything with that. It's literally haultes my life. So if anyone knows a good lawyer lmk.

I was brought to Waukesha Memorial after a bad car accident. I received excellent care from the ER staff, the surgical staff, all the nurses and aides on 4S, and the doctor’s involved in my care and recovery. All of the staff were kind, compassionate, patient, positive, and extremely helpful to me and to my friends and family visiting. They made my recovery and stay as easy and successful as it could be! I am forever grateful! Thank you.

Cory Albrechtson

There was a male nurse in the ER was particularly kind, respectful and compassionate when the other nurses left him to take care of my very sick mother. He impressed me, his name was Shane or Sean. My mom ending up transferred to ICU for 10 days. They were usually good at explaining what was going on throughout the entire day, every day. I had be buzzed after hours a lot and the security guards were pleasant. I ate at the cafe a lot. The black bean burger is delicious.

I have taken 3 of my clients here.... all 3 times were terrible....COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND BEDSIDE MANOR ARE ABSOLUTLY TERRIBLE.... I am a caregiver and im disgusted by the clueless and careless communication... bedside manor is decent with most, but some are rude and/or silent... they give medication without saying what it is, and they don't offer it unless you ask! I will personally NEVER go here.... for anything....

Needed to see my doctor who happened to be on call at the hospital that day. Pro Health made arrangements for me to see him asap and I ended up having surgery 2 hours later. Everything really turned out well. What a difference it makes when people care! Thanks so much to all the special people that helped me that day.

My son’s chemo and after care has been excellent. Staff addresses any aches, itches, nausea or pain immediately and makes adjustments accordingly. We are satisfied that his team is compassionate and knowledgeable.

Worse time in ER...6 hours waiting without seeing or talking to a doctor. Diabetic husband without food or water asked numerous times. 9 hours now in an emergency room waiting to be admitted to a patient's room. What does it take to have a caring staff? They say they care but actions speak otherwise. The 4th floor orthopedic floor has the most patient nurses, but the ER leaves MUCH to be desired. And to think we are paying for all this after insurance.

On January 25, 3013, I had an EP study done in the Cardiac Cath Lab at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, with Dr. Hai. I don't think I have ever been in such a sterile room. I want to thank the entire team, Dave, John, Tracy, Art, and Kerri. I was so entirely impressed with all that they did. They worked like a true team, working together to give me the best care. Absolutely outstanding!! I highly, highly would/will recommend anyone to go to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for this type of care. Once again, they were Absolutely Outstanding, working as a team! Thanks to all of you! WOW!! Mary Buss

Had my baby here a few months ago (first one!) and I had an absolutely wonderful nurse during my labor! I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse! The doctor and nurses checked me regularly and kept me updated on everything and any changes. Delivery went well, again, thanks to the awesome doctors and nurses! They took great care of my newborn, my father, and myself. Thank you for the wonderful experience bringing our daughter into the world!

Steven Diullo

Wonderful staff who were happy to help a traveler in his time of need! Thanks again.

Jeri Lussier

My experience with this hospital has been terrible. They don't act like they care about their patients at all. Worst hospital I've ever had the displeasure of going to.

Shelvajean Schemehorn

I had to go to emergency room at Waukesha Memorial even though I had appointment that day with my doctor because the pain I was experiancing was more then i could bear. From the time I stepped up to the desk and told the receptionist what my problem was until after I was discharged and in my son's car I had nothing but excellent care. I was given cat scan, ultra sound and blood work and then colonoscopy (not sure if this is correct order). It was determined that I had a cancerous growth in my small intestine right by large intestine. I was taken to floor 4W and was treated so great even though I gave them a hard time several times. I met so many doctors and nurses and everyone took the time to explain things to me. Dr. Christopher Davies and his staff performed the surgery and was very gentle and kind. I was sent to 4 south (or other way around) after surgery and there too everyone was going above and beyond to care for me. I got home and to my surprise there was even a get well card from the nurses. I would want to go back to this hospital if ever I needed care again before going to any other hospital. Each nurse was an individual and yet I felt like I made a bunch of new friends while there which I do think help speed up my healing. As I battle this cancer I will always be grateful for the care and support I received from everyone at Waukesha Memorial.

Waukesha Memorial was a great choice for having our first baby. My one complaint circled around some of the nursing staff post delivery who could have been a little more sensitive in the first hours of motherhood. I’m choosing to overlook this though because of how phenomenal the care was during labor and delivery and we were listened to and respected. WMH would be my first choice for delivery in the future.

David Bell

Be very careful here. It is their job to get you admitted for the longest time possible and with as many tests and treatments they can bill your insurance company for. They WILL lie and tell you absolutely anything to get you to sign off on it. Watch your bill carefully and get a second opinion if you absolutely have to deal with this hospital

PLEASE READ!!!!! On April 8th I decided to go the ER at around 10:30pm. At that time there’s never patients waiting to be seen but I was completely wrong. It was so packed that it was hot. I can’t speak for the other people on how long they’ve been waiting but I waited 2 hours to be seen. I was in so much pain that night that I willingly waited those 2 hours without any complaints. I have a history of developing large infections underneath my skin located on my back side for about 8 years now. The first time I came to this ER was 6-7 years ago for the same issue. Without a warning or any numbing anesthesia, the doctor came in and cut me open. Ever since then I never trusted this hospital to perform ANY surgery on me. The pain was so unbearable that one of the nurses had to hold down my legs... as time went on the infections kept coming back in the same area around the same incision. Not only did I have to have this same spot cut open twice but I’m about to undergo a third surgery. I’m currently on 2 very strong antibiotics that are affecting my PH (only women know how antibiotics can affect you) One of the nurses mentioned that something went wrong on their part. Honestly, it’s heartbreaking to hear but I won’t come to this hospital anymore. I don’t care how much pain I’m in....

The staff is wonderful. The facility is very nice. Blessed to live near such a nice hospital.

Absolutely Horrible. I went in because i thought i had a concussion and all other ERs were closed. When i got to the emergency room i waited almost an hour to be seen. After i finally got into a room the nurses were rude with me. I asked if it would be paid through my insurance or i would have to pay the whole bill and they rolled their eyes, then told me they don't care. They gave me medicine, and it wasn't until i got home and read the sheet they gave me stating i couldn't take the medicine i use to fall asleep while on the medicine they gave me. It wouldn't been a lot more helpful if they told me that before they shot me up. ProHealthCare is the worst group of "doctors" you'll find around.

Nate Crites

Was sent to the emergency room by a local urgent care. Had a nail stuck 2" in my hand and waited over an hour and half for them to do anything for me, they didn't keep me updated with what the plan was or what was going to happen or who was going to see me next. Terrible. I can't believe this is the emergency room.

Went last Sunday night to the ER. I had the flu & was so sick I couldn’t take it anymore. I was scared! One of male nurse’s was completely rude & careless. Took my temp didn’t even tell me what it was. He walked right out. (I want to say his name started with a A.) He then gave me meds through my IV. Pushed them so fast and started walking out RIGHT AWAY. I cried that they were burning and as he was OUT the door said “they shouldn’t” and shoot the door on me. Didn’t even make sure If i was ok. I started coughing really bad from whatever meds he gave me. (DIDNT EVEN TELL ME WHAT THEY WERE) I told my college class about it this week & we agreed next time I rather just take the chances of something bad happening to me then ever stepping foot into Waukesha ER again.

My Mother is currently in the Mental Ward with dementia. The staff is so nice to her. Very friendly and caring. They take the time to sit with her and talk to her. I am so pleased with them.

Bush League ER and mental health care. Lots of apathy and dishonesty from these so-called professionals. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so serious.

Had my first baby via csection June 2018 and the post operative care was top notch! The nurses in the birthing center really helped me feel confident in my ability as a new mother. And helped me get back on my feet quickly following surgery.

They are terrible! Tried to call about my physical therapy. Lady hung up on me! I was nice and pleasant. Sitting in the E.R you will be there for a long time waiting on someone to see you or talk to you. Smh! Worst hospital. Wouldn't even rate 1 star.. Should get 0!

jay s

I wish I could give 0 stars. This place makes a killing by referring you to the wrong doctors. I have had 3 appointments now with 2 different doctors. I am almost a thousand dollars in. I have ZERO knowledge as to how to fix my problem. In the past I have been diagnosed inaccurately several times. They have no remorse. This place should be shut down. I have recently checked out Columbia St. Marys. So far way better results. 20 times better communication.

Renee Schueneman

I had a procedure done today that is painful. The difference is made with the care and compassion given. The radiology staff is wonderful. I was very lucky to find such great people to help me today.

My wife was quoted $1,200 for a hysteroscopy a minor surgery we still have the paper with the price she received originally, and my wife was in the hospital for less than 90 mins, bill received today $22,000, $11,000 of which says "Supplies". Do no harm my rear end. The health care system in this country is out of control, the middle class pay for it, only the rich can afford to benefit from it, and Waukesha Memorial is definitely a bunch of crooks. Just a little update, we asked for an itemized list a month ago, and still haven't received, though this doesn't really suprise us.

They only care if you have excellent health coverage. Otherwise there's nothing wrong with you and they push you out of the door.

I would.t take a dead Animal to this place it took 3 weeks In Patent to diagnose a friend of mine with Late stage lung cancer ... Sorry you could Google her symptoms & tells you Late stage lung cancer ...they Just Killed someone else I know By oxygenating his Stomach & not his lungs...deprived him of oxygen for 10 min... RIP Amil...

What a wonderful staff! Pam and Angela were my nurses and they were superb. Not only did they do an exceptional job, but a smile was always on their faces. Thanks, ladies!

Alyssa Helmers

I was admitted at 3am in Mukwonago for pancreatitis and transferred via ambulance to Waukesha Memorial Hospital. The ambulance crew were amazing, the nurses were very caring, personable, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They were amazing for the 5 days I was hospitalized. If you have a choice....which I know most times people dont; I would prefer them. Much better than the care I got in Milwaukee.

Marc Towsley

The ER is a joke you’ll sit for hours before anything happens and when I say anything I mean anything ,will drive to children’s hospital before I ever go here again.

Thanatos

Consistently the worst experience I've ever had. Over the course of 2 years of experience with this place the staff is apathetic, incompetent, and non communicative. There were several exceptions to this, but they have left for better hospitals. If you have a choice, Stay Away.

James Schaller

The emergency doctors are extremely rude and some of the nurses are too. If you value your health then I recommend Froedtert.

Matt McIntyre

ProHealth Care's billing department is TERRIBLE. They took my monthly payment out of my checking account and sent me my next statement with a due date of 01/15/19. Guess what I got in the mail today?? A freaking statement from a collection agency!!!!! FOR THE SAME DATE OF SERVICE. Why are they being jerks and ruining my credit when I've done exactly as they have asked.

Corinne Van Auken

Come to Waukesha Memorial if you want to feel like you are in prison while on bed rest in the labor unit and have nurses judge you and speak about you...also the NICU is quite the pleasure if you want them to be rude and judge you on "how you hold your babies" RIGHT after delivering and are trying to do the best you can! Those fake NICU nurses will take pictures of you and say nothing to you but then talk about you to other staff..WORST experience ever!!!!! Please note: I did have A FEW really great nurses that took care of me but after 2 months you go through A LOT of them and it already sucks to be away from your family let alone GET A HUGE bill and know you had people treat you like dirt!

Sue Royal

The nurses, nurses aides, and student nurses were fantastic when my mom was in the cardiac ward!

Worst time ever in a ER room. Many times in ER rooms for bee stings they made me wait they did belive how I was felling PA not a doctor worse very worse in my life. She knew all, living all and had every thing you had or have. they would not give a epinephrine shot. A male nurse. came in, him just to give me hard time. After I let her know my unhappness I had to walk out and seek medical help some where else thet are living in the past where we do not know anything they DO

This is the only hospital I have been to in decades, so I don't know if all have the following extremes. The ER staff is either great or downright abusive. I contracted a very painful, contagious bacteria in my colon and have been hospitalized there as well as had multiple ER visits. I became dehydrated and dangerously low on potassium because I was so sick. I had never been in an ER until this occurred. I am being detailed so people know they need to push for proper care. Some of the ER staff, Dr. Szymanski, nurses Dani, Erik, Becky, PAs Nick and Ellie and others were wonderful. Some were a nightmare. A triage nurse who decided I didn't have C Diff, when in fact I did, had me using the public bathroom (I was isolated once diagnosed and everyone had to gown up), so I shudder for anyone using the bathroom after I did. An ER doctor also missed it, even though I was sure I had it since I had it a year ago and voiced that concern, and I wonder if that delay cost me in healing. The worst was a nighttime ER visit. I was given no treatment, insulted and lied to, so I can't believe I will be expected to pay. A night ER nurse told me I could only catch this again if "I went around licking doorknobs," made the bizarre and incorrect accusation I didn't have diarrhea when she wasn't even in the room with me, and when I questioned the side effects of a medication prescribed said she told people not to look at those, even though it caused a contradiction to a health condition I have. That's not comforting. The PA, who was horrible, told me a test would be run on a specimen I had been told to bring in by another doctor (the same doctor who missed the C Diff in the first place, looking to see if it had flared up again). The specimen was taken, and when I didn't get results, questioned it and found out they didn't run anything and didn't tell me. I don't know if this is true, but I have been told that is not medically ethical. The PA also told me I had the same condition. It's hard to avoid dehydration and low potassium. I am not sure if she wanted me to make up another illness. I asked for the doctor and he was so rude I would have to be unconscious before seeing him again. He actually ordered me out of the ER when I questioned the side effects of that same medication and the safety of driving while using it. I was told by the ER manager I still had to pay the copayment for this "treatment." I was so shaky and dehydrated I ended up going to an urgent care when they opened, and they were shocked I was sent home in that condition. In fact that doctor told me he would have been fired leaving someone that sick with no treatment. I am adding an edit in 2019. After months of being better I was hospitalized again. The doctors and most nurses were great. The ER was very helpful, with the exception of one quiet Saturday. The doctor was horrible, and upon looking him up found others had the same experience. I cannot emphasize this enough. Get it in writing or record it on your phone - I was lied to about lab work being done and the reason, and not given the results even though I asked repeatedly. What the doctor put in my chart contradicted what the lab told me, and the nurses were giving different info. With all we pay for healthcare, they need to be reminded they work for us. ER management needs to address this with the problem employees.

I'm not one to place a review however after the recent issues I've underwent while being seen at wmh I refuse to let it not be known. I went in a month ago for abdomen pain which radiated through my back, was up throughout half the night before I finally knew something hadn't been right. my fiancé took me in and dropped me off at the door to the er as I had told him they would handle me so he could park the car. Not realizing that it would take someone 5mins to finally come to the front to realize I was there. After seeing me crunched down on my knees in pain crying and my fiancé came in the nurse asked my fiancé to grab a wheel chair not his job but did it anyway as he knew she wouldn't. after describing my symptoms to the nursing staff the doctor came in and advised she was a nurse practitioner. She had very poor bedside manor quoting that they did the bloodwork and it came out fine asked for me to sit up in which I had been laying in a ball on my side as that was more comfortable to me. As I attempted to sit up she seen I was struggling so stated to just lay back down on my back for her to do the exam. All meanwhile asking me my symptoms to my knowledge of what I thought she was doing was to get more in depth info to find out what this could be. Im a woman that has had ovarian cists in the past and had been seen 2yrs ago for the cists but no further treatment was necessary at the time due to them popping. She then did her exam in which pressed harder then ever into my abdomen in which I screamed out in pain her response" oh did that hurt?". When trying to explain my past med history and where the pain had been, she ignored the topic and stated shed give me ibuprofen and some relaxant to relax me and sent me home refusing to do an ultrasound to determine if this was a cist. A few days later I knew something wasn't right and seen my fam physician in which knew right away 100% it had been my cist just by the symptoms. WMH was quick to send out the bill of over $500 as well as noting in my med records i was seen for chronic back pain in which had NOT been what i went in for, but when I went to put in a complaint the answer I received was a " we will speak with the doctor and nursing staff about their bedside manors". When advising that she didn't even diagnose me and refused to do addtl tests the response" if the doctor feels no other tests are necessary they do not have to do them it is all up to them and their staff has received numerous compliments on how they conduct business. hmm how many others has this happened to? POOR excuse to admit your nurse practitioner was wrong and completely out of line for what she did. I went in for a medical reason to be seen to get help I needed now I would rather drive extra time to go to froedert or a different hospital rather than dealing with them. this isn't the first time things like this has happened. when I explained the above statement the response I got was" i'm sorry this has happened to you" I then explained I did not want to take care of the bill and that they would have to take care of It since I wasn't diagnosed right and they did not take the time to search out what was going on response I got was" sorry we don't take care of bills very often and we feel the nurse did correctly"... hmm yea did correct with noting a wrong diagnosis and not even taking out time to figure out why their patient is in so much pain.

Jay S. I hear you. They screwed up several things for me last year. A Facility Charge is also coming your way! Be warned they bill your insurance an excessive facility charge ($$$Hundreds of Dollars) for using the room and insurance does NOT pay for it because they bill you as an 'out patient hospital' fee. Be warned they charge extra charges and are not helpful after the fact. Sue and Nicole in billing were very unhelpful and deeply rude in their response. A claim has been filed with the insurance company against Pro-Health Care Billing.

I just spent 4 days at Waukesha Memorial Hospital having my gallbladder out. I can't say enough good things about all the caretakers I encountered. They were all very hard workers, dedicated to caring for me, and cheerful to boot! On the bad side I was very disappointed by the food. I was on a clear liquid diet, and the little protein it offered (besides the gelatin), was Lipton instant broth. It was disgusting, and a major missed opportunity for the hospital to support healing before, during, and after surgery. And then there was all the sugary sodas, etc. Typical unhealthy hospital food...

I take ny husband and children here sny time there is anything wrong. I delivered both of my children here. I had an amazing experience both times. My second was a 7 minute wonder baby and everyone was amazing. I was never pushed to do anything I didnt want to do or wasn't comfortable with. The lactation consultant was in the room after her birth to see if i needed help with anything. Nurses were wonderful. My OB Dr Epperson is wonderful. I drive an hour to get here.

The care we received during labor was fantastic. The nurses were great and truly cares about everyone's well being.

Honestly, the best nursing staff we could possibly ask for. The 4th floor nurses are extremely attentive and genuinely care for their patients. We couldn't ask for a better team for my family and we are so grateful and blessed to have the nurses we do. Thank you so much for all of your hard work, support, attention, kindness, and knowledge. You guys are truly the best.

Usually very good even in ER wait times are according to triage.

I hate to leave a 1 star review for such a beautiful facility, with friendly front staff and informative volunteers. However, I cannot recommend ProHealth Care for even some of the most basic health concerns, and absolutely not for anyone with more complicated health disorders such as autoimmune disease or neurological disorders. Seeking a treatment plan for my valid concerns was like pulling teeth with these doctors, who make uninformed decisions based on conditioning (and apparently their "intuition") rather than critical thinking. Most of the doctors are polite enough, but that only goes so far when what you need more than anything is to return to good health and restore your quality of life. I could make a long list of reasons this is the worst health care provider I have encountered in any state I've lived in. I could list at least 5 specific doctors who were lazy, condescending, dismissive, negligent, rude or otherwise incompetent off the top of my head after two years of sub-par "care" from ProHealth. I will obviously be looking for a different option.

Outpt Dept. Is great . smart Nurses and more

Bruce Cardone, MD

Very disappointed by the pre-authorization of a very expensive, highly technical surgery with a device. The Doctor's office took responsibility for error but the Hospital did not take any responsibility and hid behind the standard words to say it was not their fault. they never took any extra steps to help us and we ended up liable for a $9 thousand dollar bill and then I had to have another surgery six months later to REMOVE the device at another hospital. We were still fighting it and we were sent to collections and credit rating was hurt very bad. The new hospital surgery was pre-auth correctly and ended up with a good outcome and no large bills.

My father took very ill on Sept 30th and past away Oct 6th. I can not say how compassionate the doctors and nursing staff to many other staff members were to our whole family. This was extremely unexpected to our family and their concern for us all and meeting our needs , as well as my fathers, this was appreciated more than they will ever know. A simple thank you doesn't say enough, but thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Kathy Zamora

Staff is unbelievable. Nursing staff is out going helpful and explained everything to us along the way. Our DR.did a amazing job. Thank you for everything

Thomas Woosencraft

I went into the emergency room early on a Saturday morning, May 10th, 2014, for upper abdominal pain. Having some history with this, I could guess what I would be having done so the procedure of removing my gall bladder was not a surprise. Everyone from the people who admitted me (not sure what their titles were), to the nurses, doctors and even the people from food service, were outstanding. All were very nice and no one was condescending or rude. Thanks, again, to your excellent staff of professionals. (This is posted under a false name to preserve my identity.)

I Adore Your Staff. But ~Your Hospital Beds ARE Atrocious Enough To Lay On - Let Alone SLEEP On!! Good Lord! FIX The Situation About Your Noisily “Breathing”, Utterly UNCOMFORTABLE Hospital Beds!!

Women’s center is almost inhumane. Me and my girlfriend got scheduled a week out for a Early miscarried pregnancy scan. When we got there they were so backed up my that we got scheduled another TWO WEEKS ahead. Honestly?? We are talking about if my girlfriend miscarried or not and 3weeks are going by with NO ANSWERS. Thanks WMH!

Katie Schultz

Delivered all three of my kids there. Maybe things have changed in the last five years but I had no pressure on me to formula feed. They sent up lactation consultants every time even though I didn't need them. We've been to the ER a few times for various reasons. That department is hit or miss. Nurses are either angels who deserve the respect that title commands or they're clearly only in it for the money and cute scrubs. I gave WMH 4 stars because some of their nurses are horrible. Thank you to every person involved in my care on 3/22. Every tech, pa, md, nurse, security guard (Debbie), and the super sweet natured behavioral specialist...you all made me feel like a person, and not just another number there. Every one of you did everything you possibly could to keep me healthy and sane while I was dealing with some of the worst stuff a person can deal with..and they noticed low potassium results and made sure I had that rectified prior to discharge. You did not have to, but you all did show great empathy. I will never forget this experience...and how grateful I am for your help. It makes me hopeful to know people like you all exist and are caring for those in need in the Waukesha area. Thank you for understanding and treating me with the utmost dignity and respect. <3

A BIG THANK YOU to Dawn, Jolie, and Nicole in Day Surgery for the excellent care I received on Friday April 12th! Your personalities, sense of humors, and most of all your skill on the job, made my day go much quicker than I thought it would! I, had a great time! I recommend WMH Day Surgery to anyone having a procedure in the future!

Just delivered our 2nd son there and had the best experience. Every part of their labor and delivery department was amazing!!!

I visited here for my LABOUR & BREASTFEEDING CLASS . The info was provided in detail & also distributed in paper format. Both the classes were made comfortable for the would be moms by giving necessary breaks & snacks. All the doubts were answered and many tips and tricks were suggested. They do have options to attend labour class ( weekend express / weekly). They also have a breastfeeding support group which helps the feeding moms. Me & my spouse attended both the classes & were very glad with our decision. we got a lot of info of what will be happening on the big day, the choices to make & the questions to ask our OBGYN before the big day comes! I am glad we have this hospital in Waukesha! I got to be a part of it thanks to my husbands company insurance. - review from a mommy- to be. :) ( I haven't yet delivered in this hospital so can't review about the facilities & services of birthing center , but will update as soon as I deliver - hence 4 stars.)

I had just the opposite experience of the previous reviewer. Knowledgeable Diabetes Nurse Practitioner. Did an excellent job of explaining what's happening in my body. I couldn't be happier. I was very frustrated prior to going here. I know that this sounds overly over the top, but I've been there twice and feel, at last, that I'm finally on the right track.

The ER staff was exceptional in admitting and treating what could have been a major issue if left unattended. My husband was admitted and emergency surgery performed. The ICU staff was incredible both for him as the patient and me as the spouse with several questions. We are blessed to have such wonderful people on staff there.

They push formula on new moms who want to breastfeed and take advantage of their lack of knowledge about parental consent, if they are recovering from a major abdominal surgery (needed a c-section), and the parents worries about their new baby and lack of knowledge about feeding to fit their own agenda. Not a breastfeeding friendly hospital.

Best thing about the hospital is the food :)Andy and Trent did an awesome job asking questions and making sure I liked everything and I can say it's the only good thing about staying at the hospital along with the staff"s attentiveness !

I have been to this hospital so many times as a visitor, loved one of a patient and as a patient myself. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing hospital so close to my home.

Lauren Roberts

We had a wonderful experience having our first child here. Every nurse, doctor, and staff member was truly wonderful. Our family has been through the emergency room for a other family members and issues. I would trust this hospital without hesitation. We've always been treated well and had positive experiences.
