LOVE GHC. I go to the East location for all of my OB checkups and everyone is always so helpful, nice, and accommodating. They're a really great clinic. They are in the middle of some major renovations right now but still doing their best to accommodate their patients and it is going to look AMAZING!

Terrible clinic! Poor reception staff, nursing staff, and pediatricians. As a concerned mom for her child I expressed my concerns to the pediatrician. he brushed me off...saying tell me the symptoms only! No empathy shown for my child he was just a number. I avoid this clinic at all cost. I advise others to do the same.

Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW),GHC is the worst health insurance there can be, there they have no respect for patients, receptionists are rudely complacent, medical assistants send expensive exams or test to patients without being necessary since they do not see the medical history .... they borrow patients, regardless of their low income, they don’t recive complaints, the patient is helpless in GHC, they should know that their patients are not banks and have more empathy for them ... I do not recommend that insurance at all health .... is the worst of the worst. it is frustrating to know that in Wisconsin there are such cooperatives, where they only think about the money they can earn but they don't care about the patients and the money they can lose, one way to steal money is to send costs and unnecessary tests, taking advantage of patient vulnerability

GHC is a no-frills provider that dispenses medical services without all the fancy facilities. Money is focused on patient care, not hot coffee, surveys or ambiance. If your employer offers GHC as an option, I highly recommend them. I use both the Sauk Trails and the East Clinic and while not flashy, my needs are met.

Nice clinic. Clean. Although front desk seem to not remember things and some people have been rude to others. Clinic is close by to gas stations, UW East Hospital, a few restaurants and right next door to LaQuinta Suites and another hotel. I think it's the Holiday Inn. This clinic is in the American Parkway section of East side Madison. Close to interstate as well.

Very belittling experience. Felt interrogated rather than being talked to, same exact questions from nurse and doctor that worked with me. Not a pleasant experience. Felt like they wanted to get me in and out and have the bill in the mail asap. Never got my follow up information with them, even though they told me they would get my information, but at a later time I was told that wasn't something that they did. It's a great feeling paying someone a lot of money for mediocre service then having them insinuate that you are a liar. So glad I'm all done with them.

Their PT is horrible. Go to Capital Physical Therapy. GHC is not hands on and just gives you exercises and sends you out in 20 minutes.

Terrible communication and customer service. Was referred by my primary doctor at Aurora, couldn't get an appointment for 4 months, and my primary was told to do my labwork before my appointment. When I arrived to the clinic which is an hour from my house, I was told that even though I had a doctor referral I also needed insurance authorization. I have Group Health insurance and I'm at a group health/uw health clinic and they couldn't help me? Or tell me sometime in the 4 months before my appointment what else I needed? After all they had called me several times about lab work needed etc .. So after ALL THAT, I didn't even get to be seen Forget UW Health I'll stick with Aurora ..

I had an appointment scheduled with a provider 6 months in advance. A month prior to the appointment the provider called and cancelled on me. Said it would be another 4-6 months till I could be seen. Worst of all the woman on the phone who called to reschedule me kept saying that I had cancelled and I had to correct her several times. She left the conversation stating she would put me on a waitlist (which I had already been on for 5 months with no call) and never scheduled a future appointment for me. At this point I am going to switch insurances at the end of the year and go somewhere else. I've had nothing but problems with GHC!!!
