Once you learn the name of your doctor and build a good repoire things work out better. Know about your body and make sure in green Bay WI you take extra care of your health. It's really hard here to get a great doctor. My nurse didn't bring the pain meds nor iodine and I had cut my finger . Please be careful in your body and hospital choices.

I love this place! If you have to spend a week in ICU with Lyme disease attacking your heart's electrical system blocking your heart to 20 beats a minute, this is the place to be. The doctors, nurses, cafeteria and cleaning people were all so very kind, professional and caring. I highly recommend Bellin and especially the people who work there! They helped save my life and knew what they they were doing.

Maybe this hospital is equip to save lives and is recognized as the PACKERS hospital, but a majority of the staff is impatient and rude. I was there recently for heart issues and the nurse was just rushing through the process sighing and ultimately left me with a blown out vein because her aggression carried over into her care or lack there of. Go to saint Vincent if you wanna be treated with dignity and respect

The Bellin staff are great, however their billing is messier than a menopausal feline. They admitted their billing system made a mistake in creating 3 separate accounts for me. They also shared that their hospital billing had an account separate from the rest of their providers, but their centralized billing eventually caught this (after using Bellin for over 30 years). They do not bill an entire family on one bill, and can not set it up this way even if I were to give them authorization. My husband and I are set up on separate billing, and our children's bills will go on the account of whichever parent brought them in. Billing for the kids can be back and forth to either parent on every visit. The worst is they admitted several of their billing reps gave us the wrong information, telling us we can pay 10% of the bill. This has never been the case. They require $100 minimum and the balance paid off in 6 months. (They spell this out on their website too.) Even though their reps have documented in writing that they told us otherwise, they will not honor this and will send our "delinquent" account to collections if we don't pay the $100 minimum on a $500 balance. They'd rather get pennies on the dollar than have us pay $50/month, which they agreed was acceptable. They call us each month to discuss billing even though they admit we have never been late, we always pay what was required (or when they said 10% was sufficient), and our account was in good standing. This week alone we've had three conversations with billing. Ironically, I've worked in health insurance billing and in healthcare for over 15 years. I get it, but let's employ a little logic here. I give them two stars because their billing is much better than Prevea / HSHS.

I have gotten 3 calls in 2 days, that are automated, regarding the road construction. Also, 4 calls regarding a survey of my last experience. Why is my cell number on these lists? I do not want to receive these automated/robo calls, especially at 7:30 pm!!!

I've gotten multiple surgeries here now and have worked with many different departments throughout Bellin. They are incredible, smart, understanding, etc. I couldn't have asked for better doctors and nurses.

My entire family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents and myself have been going to Bellin for years now. And every single one of us have had a terrible experience. I'm currently sitting in my grandparents living room watching my 76 year old grandfather die of stage 4 metastatic bone cancer, that came from his kidneys. 7 weeks ago this man was still working, hiking and enjoying lie. Today, he can no longer talk, walk, drink or eat. My grandfather had a history of kidney cancer, and for the past year and a half he has been going back to his doctor at Bellin, complaining of back pain and blood in his urine. His primary care physician told him he just needed physical therapy. Come to find out after ending up in the hospital, his doctor was wrong, he has had this cancer long enough to where it progressed to stage 4 and moved from his kidneys to his bones. This is something that even this oncologist told us, could have been avoided if caught soon enough. if his primary care physician would have listen to him from the beginning, this man could still have a very good chance of being coherent, able to conversate and not be lying here on his death bed. We blame the mal practice and straight incompetence of his doctor. It is safe to say our entire family has switched to a different hospital/company. No one should have to go through what my grandfather is going through

I worked at Bellin for many years and thought it was a great place. I was sadly mistaken on the other side being a patient. I didn't have the proper treatment which led me to more problems that had to be taken care of Elsewhere. Sadly I could have hemorrhaged and died but nobody seemed to care or give me answers as to why or anything to control my excruciating pain. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed with an experience bellin unfortunately. I'm sad to say that I will be pulling my family out of Bellin and cannot reefer people that way anymore and I cannot speak positively about it as a patient. I love the response that they encourage people to call the grievance hotline or file a complaint and don't bother with either of them it will not help your situation at all only make it worse. They will sadly tell you that their team of Physicians and board members all agree on your quality of care being the right way and will not change anything.

My wife an I just had a baby Monday nite 7/8 . The staff is nice an friendly to us, if I ask for something for her thats fine. But if I ask for something for me well let's just say thats hard for them to do. I belive both parents or "guest" Should get equal attention from staff an doc . Really who pays for most of this? the guys do ! Our firstday here the nurses an doctors were up to par on med an cheaking in , the 2nd day they seem not to care so much or on time with anything . An you get faster service when you go to the counter.

I felt bad about the negative reviews here so felt I needed to add my experiences. I am a "regular" at Bellin because of health issues. I am so grateful for the volunteer parking attendants, the Infusion nurses, and the cleanliness of the hospital as a whole. I was in another state caring for my son, who had been in a very bad car accident, with a few exceptions, I was appalled by the care b4 surgery, and the cleanliness...not near what we have here in Wisconsin. I could not wait to have my son transported home. Keep up the good work Bellin, you've got a cheering section in my family.

Had an allergic reaction to a medication I was put on, was told by doc on phone to go to the ER. We waited over 2 hours and there were many people waiting for that long too. The tv was on loud and I was having panic attack symptoms, they couldn't turn it down. Thank goodness I live near by so I just walked home (in the storm) without even being seen by a doctor. It is just unacceptable to have that long of wait times.

They killed my dad. He went in for cellulitis on his leg, he died 9 days later. They had over 25 horrible mistakes and he suffered. A nurse Mary gave him "his medicine" to rest and he died in 5 minutes. Bellin denied us an autopsy. The state of wisconsin even recognized the errors in my dad's case and opened an investigation on bellin. We are heartbroken and we can't do anything about our loss. Mary rough handled him in his last hours. Don't ever go here if you want to live. This hospital should really go under restate review. I hope those doctors lose their licences. Such a horrible thing to happen to a bronze star and 4 purple heart ssg who served for our country.

Feels more like a place where the elder come to die. The care and service comes across as if the patients are already destined for hospice care. Our Doctor attempted to belittle my mother and her sisters as they were trying to field information in regards of at home care for their father who has just been diagnosed with Glioblastoma! The Doctor proceeded to comfort our family in a manner that was unprofessional and not appreciated. He said "Well ladies are any of you a nurse." well excuse me that came across as very sexist and discriminatory to a room full of women, none of them could've been a Doctor? The women in that room have ran and International Airport, ran a city, and one ran a school. The people in that room were capable of managing a healthy environment for their father during these desperate times and all they wanted was some compassion and information that could help them better care for their Father. Not only has the doc had his moments as did the nurses. When the nurses came into the room they were all polite and kind which we appreciated, big thumbs up to Merceedes, but when the nurses aren't helping patients they sit out in the open nurses area gossiping, complaining about life and all their personal issues. Just doesn't seem appropriate with all the patients and their guest have to listen to that while trying to spend quality time with their love ones. Its just a huge distraction and gives the feel that the nurses could really give a crap about their patients.Here we are forced to listen to Sarah complaining about how crappy her life is and swear aloud and all the other drama that they gossiped over. When I say don't give a crap I mean in the sense they could care less about the family sitting in the room close by morning over how our family member could be gone in 7-14 days. Totally unexceptionable in our eyes. If my grandfather wasn't 82 years old I would have him out of this place faster then you could draw up the discharge papers.

Excellent experience! Physicians, PAs, and nursing staff all were outstanding! Attentive, perceptive, thorough, courteous...all A+. Was on surgical floor 6 days and can't relayenough positive feedback. Had a particular positive experience with floor RN Josh, who was outstanding! Many others on that floor as well!

Will never come back here. Came in to be checked for a blood clot and waited an hour in a wheel chair in the lobbyland another hour n a half before seeing a doctor...I mean nurse practitioner only to be insulted and my concerns disregarded. Wouldn't even test me for a blood clot. She had no respect for my life at all. Treated me like I was a nutcase and never once offered any ibuprofen or anything while I was in excruciating pain. I felt like I was in a prison hospital. Makes me sick...my life held no value to them.

I can not believe this ER has not been shut down, My 3 year old great granddaughter was brought into the ER for a high fever and complaining of her ears hurting, she was in a lot of pain. After a very long wait she was seen by a doctor, Dad was told she had a stomach bug ???? And advised over the counter meds. WELL after 12 hours of her getting worse, and lots of drainage, she was taken to another urgent care. And guess what SHE HAS A DOUBLE EAR INFECTION ! There is no way the Quack at Bellin did not know that she had a ear infection. I would not recommend anyone to go there, there is a lot of other great care in the area. ( it made me post 1 star to post review, but I would give it a minus 5)

AWFUL BEEN SITTING HERE IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR ALMOST THREE HOURS I HAVE A DIAGNOSED DVT IN MY LEG WHICH I FEEL MAY HAVE BROKE OFF....THE PAPER SAYS LEG PAIN!!!! NOT ANYONE HELPING ME ...STAFF IS SUPER RUDE AND IM NOW SITTING IN A SMALL ROOM NOT EVEN A REGULAR EMERGENCY ROOM BED LIKE THEY DONT PLAN ON TREATING ME PERIOD OR LOOKING INTO THE LIFE THREATENING ISSUE I HAVE ..SO IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO ME BECAUSE THEY DIDNT TREAT ME I HAVE PROOF FOR THE WORLD TO SEE ...and then this person will reply to your post as if they care ...they do nothing with the complaint hotline so stop trying to make light of this messy hospital

Been to the ER twice in a couple months and both the times the doctors didn't do anything to help my condition. The first time I had to go to the ER with symptomatic bradycardia (37 BPM) and hypotension at 83/45 from an adverse reaction of one of my medications and the doctors didn't do anything to improve those numbers while I was in the ER. I was even discharged with barely any improvements in the vitals and was only told to "cut my medication in half." The second time I was rushed down to the ER from the GI lab from complications of the anesthesia used during my upper endoscopy EGD. When I got to the ER, I stopped breathing several times as well as severe respiratory distress as well as my O2 saturation down to the mid 80's and the doctors again didn't do anything except for a little bit of supplemental oxygen which barely made a dent in my vitals. I don't understand what does it take for you to be treated properly and not suffering while in the ER. If I ever have to go to the emergency department again, I'm going to St. Vincent's.

My wife and I should have read these reviews before trying to get help from this hospital. I believe anything over one star is made up, and I dont see to many believable positive reviews here. My one star is going to the valet parking workers, they were the only part of our Bellin experience that went well. We will not be coming back here, how does a facility with so much incompetance exist? This is healthcare is in 2017? Your just a number on a cart.

My Mom was a patient who had to have her pacemaker removed because of a bad infection and they released her to go home and she should have never been released because she passed away before she could get the new pacemaker. If I ever need to get a pacemaker, I promise you this, I will never get it done in Green Bay!

My Dad was traveling from out of state and experienced a heart attack and brought to Bellin. The staff was great and he was streamlined through the ER to the cath lab in a very organized and timely manner. Dr Hudson saved his life. I am grateful for all the staff and physicians at this hospital.

Worse experience ever! Made a stressful situation with my husband even more stressful. 80% of the staff was rude and ALWAYS acted as though you were bothering them. And when they weren't rude, it took them 12 minutes to respond to the call button. And they only responded because I walked to the nurses station to get a nurse. Who then started blaming the CNA for not responding. My husband called for breakfast at 7am - then had to call down two more times to ask where it was, to then his nurse finally had to walk to the cafeteria at 8:45 to get his tray. He did not eat until 9am. (He was having surgery that day and they said he had to eat breakfast by 8am) I could go on and on about how horrible our experience was. The ONLY reason they get one star from me is because I had my baby here 13 weeks ago and the maternity floor was absolutely amazing! Im not one to ever leave reviews, but I felt I had to express our horrible experience. I will be contacting management.

I was seen by a physician and properly treated, but waited for over 6 hours in the ER for test results. Could be a little bit smoother of a process for the people needed to be seen. I understand being short staffed, but would you want to wait 6 hours in a room?

Worst ER I’ve ever had to experience. No dignity practiced they’ll strip your clothes off with no privacy it was horrible I asked to leave and was then treated disrespectful because of it. I would never recommend this ER to friends family nor an enemy no nursing values upheld there! Expect to wait over 2hrs for any care!

I spent 3 days here while my grandma was in the final stages of life. Every employee that entered her room was so kind and caring. They made sure she was comfortable at all times. When she could no longer respond they still treated her as they would any other patient. Thank you all!

Was very disappointed with my dads care with the exception of some of the nurses and cnas and Helen Wellen. Agree with other reviewers who mentioned that no one responds to the call button quickly...better to walk out to station to get someone. We got better care once he was assigned pallative care. Sadly my dad passed and we never had a doctor talk to us to help us understand why he died suddenly. The nurse let us know what had happened but you would think you would have a doctor to talk to. At the time we were in shock that he died so didn't think to ask for the dr...but should not have too. I have lost confidence in our medical system if Bellin is a normal hospital experience.

I went into the ER last night about 11:30, the ER was completely packed so the nurse took me into a different room to get my vitals and then she put an iv in. I told her that I was getting dizzy when she was taking blood, so instead of laying me down on the chair I was sitting on or on the floor she decided she was gonna walk me into the next room.. well I passed out on the way over there and missed the bed. You would think a nurse would be smart enough to just lay the person down right away not walk them into the other room. Plus she made it seem like it was my fault she was extremely rude to me. And plus she spilt blood all over my pajamas because she didn't screw the cap on all the way after she took the blood.

Worst place ever they will literally watch you and talk about you while you are crying historically in the waiting room and instead of trying to get you help they off to sign papers to leave without medical treatment. If I didn't need medical attention obviously I wouldn't have come here in the first place. I will never come back here they will let you die and just act like they didn't notice you.

I was in imaging yesterday and barely sat down before I was called in. The technician was very efficient and friendly. She explained things and gave me better directions than I've ever had before. I sat comfortably while waiting for results. I'm so glad Bellin is in my insurance network.

This space is basically running a legal scam. I have never been to a hospital that charges you to enter the ER, and then charges you because you were seen in the ER. Been or have has family members visit several ER's across the world and never once had things work as horribly as this.

Declining Organization...I have been with Bellin for over 27 years!! My children were born here, my grandson, I brought my husband, my parents, my sister, and her family on board the Bellin family many years ago. I have co-health colleagues that were employed and chose alternate career avenues d/t the care plan criteria for Bellin patients . Bellin has become about the dollar...ICU dirty and they will only offer care plans that YOUR INSURANCE will pay them for.....Behavioral health brutal in that their therapists supervisors can allow their employees to cancel when needed...but behold if your family has hurtles and miss appointments...EVEN WHEN YOU CALL.. they will deny access.....even to children whom have developed relationships with life threatening illnesses with their therapists. My family has accepted/supported that providers are human and make mistake that in one circumstance led to a trip to Children's Hospital via ambulance from Bellin ER d/t missed dx... but we were in belief that you support those that support you. This organization...Over the past 1.5 years has become very apparent that the senior powers have prioritized the priority is making money.....so beware and be cognizant of your care, your bills, your tx opportunities. Bellin has become about a profit business and for anyone who has commercial and or payer/insurance freedom please do your research and look into other local health organizations who have not chosen profit over quality of care....and for the providers whom really care to provide care....be a voice in raising the ethical bar for all that Bellin Health used to be. Myself and all my family that have held Bellin dedication will be moving forward in transitioning :-(

I went to the E R for an allergic reaction. They took so to take me to a room. Then they asked a whole bunch of questions like nothing was going on. Then they made we wait again. I had to leave and go some where else because my recations was getting worse and worse.

Parking is a bit tricky, but usually the attendants will direct you to the right spot. This hospital is well equipped. Doctors are knowledgeable and thorough. Many specialists available. ER services are above average in my opinion.

I have had 2 surgeries at Bellin since February 2017 heart and gallbladder. Both occasions I was treated very good. Also spent 2 months (3 times per week) for cardiac rehab and the folks there were fantasic. I would recommend Bellin Hospital to anyone who asked about them. TOP NOTCH FACILITY KEEP UP THE GOOD WORD AND THANKS TO ALL THE DOCTORS AND STAFF THAT HELPED ME.
