We waited about an hour in the waiting room for someone to see us

My dad had bypass surgery here and even though he had multiple complications after surgery... the nurses and Doctors were attentive/responsive to his every need. The Nurses in the ICU were top notch, knowledgeable and professional. Angie and Ben were 2 of the best and we were lucky to have them. The only bad thing about St. Luke's is that the discharge planner encouraged my mom to send my dad to an acute long-term facility that we had read awful reviews about online and expressed our concerns to her. She convinced us that St. Luke's sends patients to them all the time and the Medicare reviews weren't that bad. It turned out to be our worst nightmare and was worse than we could have imagined! Please do your homework on your options for acute long-term facilities. That was not in my father's best interest, he is lucky to be alive! Nor was it a good reflection on St. Luke's. Additional note- 2/6/18 St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wi. was contacted regarding concerns related to the facility that they had highly recommended and transferred my dad to. I was told that St. Luke’s did not have any interest in knowing the concerns of another facility even if they were recommending and transferring patients to them.

The cardiology department was phenomenal during my stay. The staff did an excellent job of making me comfortable. They also did an excellent job of making my family comfortable-- constantly asking them if they could get them anything. What I most appreciated was the care the doctors and nurses took in making sure I knew what was happening, the timeline, and how prompt they were. I was told I'd have a procedure done at 6:30 a.m. & the nurses had me in the room at 6:30 a.m. Thank you for all you do.

LUIS A. CARDONA

Nice doctor and nurses. I have good service,im satisfie and the hospital the room are nice and clean

If i could give zero stars I would. My husband's grandmother was dropped several times and due to those drops she became permanently paralized. They are super negligent and rude in this place.

Linda Tuttle

Dr Nick Armstrong, his staff, ICU & everyone on 3EF were fabulous. I got to notch care after my surgery. They are good people!! Thank you!!

Jason Thompson

My stay was for 10 days and the entire staff was excellent.I stayed on 3,6, SICU and did about 12 stints in the hyperbarricks oxygen submarine.Being there gave me a new perspective how important the doctors and nurses really are. Not only nice but they were informative, and this includes aids and all the people that work there. Keep up the good work over there, Aurora St.Lukes does Milwaukee proud. Thank you, Jason Thompson

I had a very good experience with the ER. The lady doc and her staff were real professionals and I received excellent care. I am a retired nurse and know good care when I receive it.

The only reason they get one star is because my girlfriend amazingly enough survived the simple outpatient endoscopy. We arrived 15 minutes prior to the time given to check in. While the administrative person wasn't awful, any kind of upbeat personality or even the kind words of hello, please, and thank you would have been appreciated. About 10 minutes after the scheduled arrival time, we were taken back to the procedure prep room and thinking that everything was better. A nursing assistant with the same crabby demeanor as the admin person took her vitals and gave her the gown and socks to change into. That's when the real BS started. We waited 35 minutes before anyone returned. At that point 2 nurses came in and started to ask questions while 1 if them ATTEMPTED to put in an IV. My girlfriend is a nurse and suggested a simple and clear vain. However, the IV nurse decided to take the "plunge and dig method" cursing each time she missed (twice). She finally took my friend's advice, but still managed to make it painful. At that point, both nurses left the room, and we began an almost 2 hour period of seeing no one. Finally, the anesthesiologist showed up and explain some things, and 5 minutes later, the actual doctor doing the procedure showed up. Then, another period of 20 minutes of seeing no one began. It was just around the 3 and a half hour point when she finally was taken in to the 30 minute procedure. After returning, she returned to the prep room, and we were told that it would be about a half hour to 45 minutes until the doc would talk to and release her. Well, to make this shorter than the actual thing, the doc finally showed up almost 2 hours after she got it of the procedure room. We were at the hospital for almost 6 hours for a simple procedure that took 30 minutes, and they managed to give her a fat lip. I've had more extensive day surgery procedures done at Froedert and the Medical College with much more friendly and competent medical personnel in half the time or less.

Bruce Davies

loved how everyone worked to make my partner better several times now.

April brunette

The ER nurse in the continuous care waiting room is very rude.

Jose Alvarez

BROKEN ARM IN THE ER STAY 3 NIGHTS AND HAD SPONGE BATH THE NURSE WAS OVER WASHING MY PRIVATE PARTS. WEIRD HORNY NURSE.

Rebecca Wilson

Er staff slow and rude and it was slow

Edward Hara

What kind of awful place is this that they don't even answer the phone when you call in? I have a friend who is very sick. I called in to her direct line to her room to try to get to her. No answer. Now I'm very concerned. But there is no human being answering the phone line and when you press "O" to get to the operator, the phone system hangs up on you. Do you call this "personal service" or "customer care?"

Brant Holeman

Friend went in with some high blood pressure issues and the ED staff was amazing. Very professional, excellent bed side manner.

Syla Keonoukhoun

Trash.

Diss Apointed

The staff is extremely slow and also really rude.most of them had no idea what they were doing almost gave the wrong medication. And God forbid you have to go to bathroom because it will take so long to get help or not at all. The mamajority of them should not be in the med so i would not go there not unless you want to diehelp you will

nancy johnson

I've been seeing my doctor here for 14 years compassionate thorough all around wonderful person staff is great from nursing staff to check-in staff

Rin Kagamine

One of my family members had stroke and she was sent here at this hospital. Worst experience ever. The service is terrible, it literally sucks. Some of the nurses treated her not in a fragile way, seemed rude and bothered when we asked for help. It takes them a while to get to the room which is understandable but sometimes 30 minutes to an hour??? I wonder about that. I am not saying that all of the nurses are this way but from my experience most of them were.

Latrell Jennings

Had 2 open heart surgery's there for my mom and my aunt, and they both didn't have any issues. I rely on people here more than anywhere else, because I trust the people here and everybody there is friendly and respectful. Also a calm place. We live in Kenosha, and St Luke's is a good medical center.

Mary Beth Fischer

I had my first experience at St.Lukes in December of 2011 and January 2012. I was in the NICU for a month and my family was with me everyday. First of all, I cannot say enough about the nurses and their staff in the NICU. These people are angels from heaven. My family and I were very comfortable. St. Lukes has a floor dedicated to the family of patients...Small little rooms with recliner/beds and a common room with a kitchenette and all the comforts of home. No charge to use them. The hospital was very friendly and helpful and their care of me was excellent. I highly recommend the NICU at this hospital.

Tommseena Pryor

I love this hospital

Mr. Epps

St. Luke is a very nice hospital, they save my buddies life twice. Also theres an employee there that's very sweet, I believe her name is Montia Jacobs. Please give her a raise for her great work and godly spirit. Ps shes a cutie!!

elaine gonzales

Thank you TEAM ST. LUKE'S for the Tuneup... My Team of Doctors were Great!, My nurses ... on there toes.. AWESOME ! I was scared, but they made my stay comfortable.

Officer Joe

5 hour er visit later.... Really wish the staff informed me what's going on instead of telling me I'm all set when I still gotta wait on everyone to get their shit together

Dajah Vance

Housekeeping services are awesome

Pete Smith

My doctor’s nurse called me and wanted me to call back. I called, was put on hold for 6 minutes, and a woman named Michelle answered. I told her I was returning a call from the nurse, and she demanded my birthday. When I refused to provide, saying I was returning a call, she put me on hold another 3 minutes. Rude rude rude.

Harry M

Not nearly as good as Mayo Clinic, but far better and more helpful than St Mary's and Fraudert. Doctors where willing to order tests that St Mary's and Fraudert refused. If you have a rare or complex condition and are getting nowhere, get as many tests as you can, and then go to a Mayo specialist for proper advice and interpretation.

Darlene Sabo

Truly caring medical staff, tremendous compassion by the 8th floor CICU staff will never be forgotten while our child was taken tender care of .

Danielle Partain

St. Luke's put an IVC Filter in for temporary purpose. Okay. It has been in for 5 months, however it is causing major symptoms of pain in the chest where the filter is placed, daily and sometimes excessive vomiting, low back pain and abdominal pain. Here is the problem. St Luke's put it in and they refuse to take it out. IVC FILTERS CAUSE DEATHS. This is wrong and damaging TO HUMAN LIFE! There is the short version!

J

I have attempted several times to reach the management at St Luke's GI outpatient department with no response. After recently having an awful overall experience there, I had hoped they would be interested in knowing and would look into ways to make improvements for future patients. This feeling of a great lack of care is now extended to management. I would recommend avoiding this place if you are unwell as it may add to your suffering.

Lisa Matzke

Gb aurora couldn't do everything that st Luke's could. My friend is still alive because he's getting the best care at St Luke's.

Yingdi Han

For the most part, staff are really patient and care about what you have to say.

oak 1971 KD9NXQ

Great aftercare.

Steffen Clavette

I experienced excellent care and all the nurses were very kind and took good care of me. I had to brought down from Oshkosh, where I'm from, for a procedure that the orthopedic surgeon at the Oshkosh Aurora did not "feel comfortable doing". Despite being so far from home I was put at ease but the staff here.

Laura Brown

Took my boyfriend to ER for trouble breathing, pressure in head, tightness in chest, sevier fatigue. I dropped him off so I could park, he went in, fell into the chair- gasping for air and nobody came over to help for at least 7 minutes. They put him in a wheelchair and left his feet dragging on the ground instead of pulling up the foot rest. I had to answer most of the questions as he was too lethargic to speak but the nurse asking the questions wasn't listening to what I was saying at all. He ask the same question 3 times, then got an attitude when he was called on it. We finally get to a room, the nurse comes in, the doctor and another nurse all asking the same questions. An IV was put in his hand then we were there over 2 hours waiting for x-rays and blood work to be taken. After a while we realized the lady in the room next door had her x-rays done and she hadn't been there but 30min. My bf was so upset and angry by that time we had decided to just leave. As we're going out the door, another nurse starts yelling at him saying 'you can't leave'. She tried to get security to stop him but we continue out to the car while the nurse continues to chase us out to the parking lot. Keep in mind she's not concerned for his wellbeing but that he isn't obeying her instructions. She threatens to call the police then has security chase us to our car so we couldn't leave. The security guars wants the IV that was still in his hand which he took out and threw on the ground. She still wouldn't let us leave so my bf starts walking - in the rain- and yet 2 more security guards walk up and start yelling at him. So here you have a man who didn't want to go to the ER but was so sick he had to and is now being chased out by a nurse and security guards without ever getting treatment. We'll never go back there again!

Anthony Permanian

They saved my life ! Dr crouch and the entire staff very caring .I an forever grateful !

dawn jeziorski

Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a hospital ever!!! My mother has been there for days now they kept pushing her procedures off must be looking to collect extra money for the stay idk... had a CT scan at like 10am and was told the results would be back in a couple hours... it’s now almost 10pm and nothing what an Fing joke.

Diane Kreuscher

I was treated with the most unprofessional care you can imagine. I was scheduled for an angioplasty surgery on July 22. I was all prepped for surgery - strapped on the table, IV going. blood pressure cuff in place, heart monitor hooked up, all cleaned and ready for the knife, Then the surgeon says - "This is cancelled and needs to be rescheduled." I am so fed up with Aurora St. Luke's ! Will never return. This hospital was not staffed for an emergency heart attack. Unbelievable! So unprofessional. This was the reason why my surgery was suddenly cancelled.

Ana Dejesus

Staff are very helpful

Tiki Santos

My mom had a knee replacemet the worst care ever..she's 84 yrs old and her own advocate. Told the nurse that they had the wrong dose amount of the medication she takes the nurse ignored her and continued to the same dose! As her daughter I also advised the nurse of the oversite..she assured me it will be taken care of..well it wasn't taken care of. Well it wasn't 3 times over site then the rudeness no one wants to apologize..11th floor beware!! The garden tower!!

Brian Kirchner

They killed my Ma. After nurses stole from the room.

Bill Baker

Some of the staff was good and bad!!! But I had a bad experience the other night and it took over a hour to get help!! I thought for sure I was going to die!! There was no help done until my doctor showed up at midnight to tell my nurse what to give me.After that I was fine.Would have been quicker to call 911.

Jan Fredrickson

The Emergency Room procedure/system SUCKS! Looks like you need to have more rooms and staff to keep up with all the people that walk through the door. Brought my Dad here (recommended by his doctor) about 3:00 pm today for shortness of breath. He was taken in right away to check his BP, checked his oxygen level, had blood drawn and an EKG. We were told we would have to go back and wait in the waiting area. He had a chest x-ray at 5:00, and it's now 7:06 pm and still waiting. Another elderly man next to me has been waiting since 1:30. RIDICULOUS! My Dad is a diabetic and used to eating at 4:30 everyday. If we don't get called in soon, we're leaving!

Rogelio Guarnero

my mom was brought back to life in

sheilah berry

If you want to experience a loving, caring atmosphere & the best group of people from the valet staff, help desk, cafeteria staff and finally the best receptionists and nurses anywhere are in the ambulatory area of the hospital. Thanks to everyone who work @ St. Luke's Hospital.

Faye Willoughby

Beautiful caring people I had no worries I was in good hands

Shannon Clark

The last time I had to come here was when my Aunt was going through liver and kidney failure. The doctors here that treated her when she was in the ICU literally worked miracles. My Dad and I were convinced she was not going to pull through (literally thinking of making funeral arrangements). After less than two weeks she was awake, eating somewhat, and began dialysis. She was able to recover and move on

stacey wilbanks

Horrible. I could have died if i had taken the ER drs advice. I was sent home with an antibiotic at a mg for a baby. Nothing for my pain and nausea. I had a severe case of facial cellulitis and it can be deadly. Luckily i had the sense to get a second opinion where they wanted to admit me to the hospital because i was so sick. The visits were less than 6 hrs apart.

Michael Barnhardt

I just spoke with Barb in the gift shop to order some flowers for my elderly Aunt who is in the hospital. Barb was very helpful with everything. All my questions were answered in a professional manner and pleasant voice. Thank you Barb, for your help.

Tressia Conley

I didnt like anything about this hospital visit you sitting 3 hours just waiting to get to the back....utter disappointment

Greisita N.

So i Just Called Because i had an important Situation Going on and had a Few Questions to ask. The Lady that Answer the Phone Was being Sarcastic and acting dumb like if i was a little kid while another Lady was laughing in the Background then while i was still saying 'Thank u have a good day' She Literally Hung up on Me without saying Anything. So ur telling me ppl are Nice to the employees and they Treat u Like ur Trash. Wish this happened in person So i could tell her in her Face.

Chad Draper

Great hospital and staff.

BROSÉ

I WORKED IN THE STERILE PROCESSING DEPARTMENT FOR ABOUT 8months and IM AN AFRICAN AMERICAN MALE, HIGHLY EDUCATED AND RECEIVED NOTHING BUT RESPECT FROM OUTSIDE FROM THE DEPT FROM OTHER CAREGIVERS, EVEN THOUGH "SOME PEOPLE", WERE NICE AND CARING, MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE WERE SO RACIST AND CHILDISH, I FELT AS IF I WASN'T WELCOMED WHEN I WAS APART OF AURORA, IM AN EXCELLENT CAREGIVER AND I KNOW I HAVE GREAT WORK ETHIC AND OTHERS AS WELL CAN CONFESS TO THIS BUT THE HR NEVER APPROACHED MY CONCERNS EVER! ALL THEY KEPT DOING WAS PUTTING MY SITUATIONS TO THE SIDE AS IF THEY DID NOT MATTER, SO TELL ME WHERE I COULD HANDLE THIS SITUATION TO BE TREATED AS MINORITY AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH SUCH HATRED AND HARASSMENT OVER AND OVER. THEREFORE IT LEFT ME NO CHOICE BUT TO REMOVE MYSELF FROM THE DEPARTMENT AND THE AURORA HOSPITAL. I WISH THAT ALL MINORITY APPLICANTS TAKE A SECOND THOUGHT BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS PLACE. I NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT RACISM EVER IN MY LIFE HALF OF MY FAMILY ARE GERMAN INCLUDING MYSELF BUT I STILL GET TREATED AS IF IM A THREAT AND UNWELCOME TO THIS HOSPITAL.

Jason Brink

Staff has always been great; accommodating, professional, friendly. Unfortunately I and my kids have been there a few times over the past couple years...

Kristin Holcomb

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! !! TREATED MY MOM LIKE A BURDEN AND THERE WAS A MISCOMMUNICATION WITH DR'S KEPT HER THERE AN EXTRA WEEK AND HALF... SHE DIED A WEEK AFTER WASTING HER TIME!!!!! USELESS! Oh and not to mention the nurses stole some of her items including laptop charger and some other items!!! And Dr. Brown is a terrible doctor! !!

ANTHONY GARNICA

Waited over 2 hours! Arrived early for my appointment and they still didn't get me until after my appointment time! So mad

JE G

No waiting, called back quickly. Dr. took time to discuss with me, the staff & all medical personnel friendly, interested in my situation, knowledgeable. Can't say enough about how great I feel about this hospital, dr's & medical staff!

Eric Smolinski

Find another hospital in Milwaukee before checking in. The CNAs and Nurses might be friendly, but most of the doctors here are incompetent and do not listen to anything you tell them.

Katharyn Kominiarek

My sister could not have had better care in the month she spent at St. Luke.

Sophia Stevenson

I came to the er inexcruatin pain and the doctor and nurse did nothing to control my severe pain it's in their records that a week ago they gave diluadid and fentyl patches for 4 days they r making me lay on my bone cancer back with nothing 2 ease the pain this time when their own urgent cares give only a 3 day supply and they gave me no referalst to see a primary care physician the woman Asian husky doctor even denied to control my chest pain when I have a history of m.i and 2 stents I would not recommend this horrible hospital and staff to anyone suffering I have have cancer pain I been laying in the er bed 4 3 hrs with no one coming to do a. Carolyn Dragotta

My friend died in icu. Developed bed sores. Unbelievable in this day and age

Sherry Thorne

One year ago today, my Jeff, at 48, was suddenly unable to walk or move his legs at all. Immediately, the staff had an idea what was going on and got to work. It turns out that he had guillain-barré syndrome. I had never heard of this before but, the neurological team knew what it was and knew exactly what to do. This disease can become much worse very quickly if not treated right away. Fortunately, for us, the doctors and nurses were in sync with the treatment protocol resulting in a speedy recovery for my Jeff. He is one of the fastest recovery cases from this disease (11 days total) and we owe the St. Luke's staff a debt of gratitude. Thank you and may God bless you all!

Vicky S. Villegas

(Translated by Google) The wait is exaggerated. You come with a severe headache at 5 pm and it is 11:30 pm and Dr. still hasn't said anything. Besides that you must wait sitting in the waiting room because it is supposedly full inside. A lot of age alone, they can't walk in wheelchairs waiting outside. It is an abuse!

Maggie Espinosa

I love Dr. Gracz that works at St.Luke's but, i would not recommend going to the emergency room for anyone unless they want to wait for six hours in pain. St.Luke's really needs to get their priorities in order. The staff in the emergency room are horrible and don't know what they are doing. Me and my fiance had to sit in what they called "the quiet room" just to be seen because they were over filled. The doctor didn't care about us at all, gave him a prescription, and just said suck it up and left. I will now be going to St. Francis because they do hell of allot better.

Doreen Niedzolkowski

Nurses in radiation oncology very short and impatient

Nini Marie

Took my son to get his colonoscopy procedure, immediately I was told I had to wait in the waiting room without seeing him before he went off. While waiting, I noticed others heading to the back with their loved ones. Why did I have to sit an outside waiting area the whole time. I was not allowed to ask the doctor any questions before his procedure. No one approached me with any updates. Rude! Rude! Rude! Staff!!!! I usually don’t use the race card but this was definitely a clear case of racial discrimination!!!

Everyone that is thinking about going to this hospital chain for treatment or wishes to work for this company needs to watch the documentary on HBO called "Bleed out". The film details a patients story from the time she enters the hospital 10 years ago till now. Along with everything her family has gone through.

Yolanda Williams

I enjoy the service, the staff, the food and the overall service.

Bohdan Wasielewski

I had a horrible stay at SLMC - i had a brain procedure done followed by one night in ICU. The nurses made me feel like i was bothering them when i would ask for help. After the catheter was removed i asked for help to use the bathroom and the nurse took me, but without a robe to cover my back side. Food was cold when delivered. My bed was soaked with urine and bowel which i had to lay in! I repeatedly asked for a nicoderm patch and wasnt given one. I was told to remove a 'fresh' morphine patch prior to me leaving. Why? I had paid for it? I had to remind a nighttime nurse to give me my meds (which she got from her pocket-was she trying to keep them?) I could go on and on,but i feel like none of this is even gonna help or change things. I just was not a comfortable ICU patient. Thank God it was only for one night ! Patient BEWARE!

Eliza

I had a mammogram here last fall and they requested I come back in for a biopsy in October. They did an image-guided biopsy with a titanium chip marker without advising me of how insanely expensive these were--over $20,000 for a 2-hour procedure. I had to pay $1,600 out of pocket and requested a payment plan. Even though I paid a large amount monthly and only owed $400 in March they turned me into collections. I'm extremely upset and disappointed in how this was handled from beginning to end and will never go to this location again.

Amy Hopple

I had the misfortune of having this place as where I went to have my first son.. I almost died because of their insistence on having a natural birth when my pelvis was tilted in such a way that would have been impossible, you would think my Dr. would have known, but, he did not.. on the other hand, I went 3 years ago at deaths door, The ER doc had to give me two spinal taps ( he failed them ) then I had to go upstairs to have one done via x ray and got pegged with a bill that was thousands of dollars... I will not go there again

Luis Millan

Great

Steve Luckas

First and foremost, the do NOT have urgent care (if you search Google for urgent care, they come up). I went in recently and was informed they had an emergency room only, which can be significant for insurance reasons. I was in a lot of pain, I won't go into details bit had an injury that made moving in general incredibly painful, so I bit the bullet and went into the ER. The care I got was fine, but slow. If I had been in imminent danger I would have been much worse off.

Barbara Benedetto

What a shame, such a good reputation but terrible miss communications between drs and staff....maybe too many personnel, thats how mistakes happen...such a shame, expected much better.

Cori Tilley

I had two surgeries done at St.lukes. The nurses are doctors were wonderful. They helped me so much. The nurses cared and went out of their way for me. The food was actually pretty good.

Corey Jones

TERRIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE they played my teacher i want to file a lawsuit immediately. trying to kill him by giving him pills he is allergic to . Also kept drawing blood with no results this is not okay. I want this place shut down. This place has taken an emotional toll on Mr. Flenorl. Giving him Metoprolol without cause the doctor did not allow this drug for the patient. This is extremely not okay. THIS IS HIGHLY UNACCEPTABLE. We will be filing a lawsuit. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY. I honestly feel like this is an outrage.

Bobby Exum

GREAT RN STAFF. GREAT TEAM ALL THE WAY. THEY WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE SURE ALL THEIR PATIENTS ARE CARED FOR. I'M ALWAYS SATISFIED WHEN MY MOM GOES THERE FOR CARE. THEY HAVE MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT FROM ME.

Yankee Cruz

It is no use waiting is very exaggerated and the treatment they give you is not pleasant I do not recommend it is very bad

Jennie Truwitzky

This was the worst experience I have ever had!!!!!! The doctor didn’t care that I was in pain at all he continued to do the surgery even when I was screaming in pain. He was continuously super mean to me putting me down saying my pain was not real. When he forced me to do the procedure he did I told him the numbing stuff wouldn’t work yet he lied to me and then said that it would and let me tell you it did NOT!! He was extremely rude did not care or do anything for the pain at all. And to top it all of in the middle of the procedure he walked out of my room gave my nurse the discharge papers and we were told to leave and that he can help me. This is a horrible hospital! You should listen to when your patients are telling you their concerns and their pain. And don’t get mad at the patients when you as a doctor didn’t listen to the patients so their pain bothers you and you walk out of the room. The most unprofessional, rudest doctor I’ve ever met. The whole time I felt like I was in a horror movie just pinned to the bed to be tortured alive. This was by far worst experience of my life!!!

Andy Guzman

Worst experiance ever got there at 12;30 did not get to a room till 530 around 230pm the did labs and a xray went they called me in at 530 doctor came to room and had not even read my charts or labs in pain waited till 8pm finally i told the nurse i was leaving becsuse of the attention or not even something 4 pain i left never againg.....

Haley Sery

Lovely experience, even though it was god awful busy. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. Mike the nurse was very very great helpful and understanding, great personality and tries to make sure everything is right. The doctor Sam was very helpful and super nice everything was so quick and they got you in and out very quickly.

Bilalbro

professional at misunderstanding. sadly

Scott W

Wow, what great customer service! Been there 4 times in last 2 months and they are always terrific. They show real concern and empathy for patients!

Samantha Miakoda

I’ve been here for an hour wit my mom and she is sick and now pain! The waiting room is taking forever and they didn’t even have cleanix for my mom to blow her nose in! I am disgusted and angry!

Joanna Chipupsnmore

HORRIBLE!!!!!! MY mother is in the intensive care unit where she can not get ANYONE for an hour to come help her go pee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nurses are rude and STUPID!!!!!!!!!! What kind of a HOSPITAL is this?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really give my diabetic mother juice that is almost pure sugar and then YELL at her when her sugar is high!!!!!!! I am filing a complaint and will be contacting my lawyer .

Trinity S

I had gone to the urgent care. I broke my whole face. But then the Wicked witch came storming in and she grabbed my boob and made it vaporize in her hand!! I had no left boob. From now on i am called Uniboob!!

Robert Wierzbinski

Carl Borzych

Very good doctors

blackie knight

Didn't care about me at all .

Linda Juul

I was very pleased with the care I received.

Angela Cantu

Had to see Dr. Raja to look at my eyes to check for Diabetic Retinopathy. It did take a long time to finally see him, but it was worth the wait. He was friendly and seemed like he truly cared what he was telling me. He set up a plan that we were going to follow. I am excited to see what's going to happen next. Update: After seeing him at a different location, he was a different doctor. He became rude and was not as caring. He rushed thru my appts and changed my care plan after my second eye surgery. Very dissatisfied. What upsets me more is that I have to return to him because of my condition.

The care from all the doctors was excellent. All were very caring and concerned with my well being.

I'm from out of town and requires an urgent care facility and was pointed in the direction of St Luke's. Got to St. Lukes and requested urgent care facility and was pointed to the emergency room. I was very clear that o did not require emergency services and they said it was where they handle urgent care customers. Then I get billed for an emergency room. I call in to discuss this and they say they don't offer urgent care services. Why was that not clear before I was seen and billed.

When are a nurse er or what ever floor you on be caring if you see a person that cannot do for them selfs even worst that does not talk its your job to check on them to see they are alright or needs to be change you should know better

My DAUGHTER Margarita Acosta had the worst, EXPERIENCE at St Lukes ED today. The checked her in put her in s room and just waiting and WAITING. RN are just sitting abd gossiping in a corner. You ask thw NURSES for information they dont know a thing. WASTED 1 1/2 HR in pain and no one could help. So she got upset and walked out with this infected ABSCESS. ST LUKES ED WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR HER HEALTH. THERN SAW HER WALK OUT AND DID EXPLAIN OR SAY ANYTHING . They just stood there and watch her leave. CLEARLY THIS IS POOR MEDICAL CARE! VERY disgusted i work for AURORA. This is unprofessional, unethical, uncalled for of this staff today!!!!

Mr. Mark H Davis

Always loved this hospital

Ruth A

Aurora, the ENTIRE company, is all about money. They put profits over patient care. I was charged $377 for a 15 minute visit with a NURSE in an office! They charged me a $152 facility fee claiming, because it was a specialty clinic, it was the same as going to the hospital! SCAM! I really like my family doctor and have been going to her for years, but because she is associated with Aurora, I will be finding a new doctor. Check out DOLLARS FOR DOCS.

David Treis

Great staff to work with. Very empathetic to the families needs. Highly recommend their care.

Cliff Cordes

Everyone is very nice and professional.

Claudia Degner

I was tested and treated for an std and no one told me anything about how long the treatment lasts. I wasted time by going into my OBGYN to get retested. She then told me I have to wait to get retested. They don't take labs there so I had to go to Waukesha to get my blood drawn just to find out anything. I would never go here again.

Thomas Adler

Nurses were nice and professional most of them anyway.

Always a great time!

My mom had surgery on 03-29-2018 it was almost a five hour surgery the guy RN came into her room right after surgery. My mom said she was thirsty so I asked him if he would give her a drink of water. He came back and pushed the button on the head rest so the head rest went up my mom said it was starting to hurt but he kept putting it up then she moaned again in pain and he's like fine then you won't get anything to drink he put the cup down walked out of the room and said I will get your nurse. REALLY I WANTED TO SMACK HIM. HE SHOULD NOT WORK WITH PEOPLE. I don't remember his name but I know he was heavy set kinda greasy blonde hair. I just wish my mom would of went and had her surgery some place else that is the second time there for surgery and both times it was horrible first time she lost so much weight by the time 3 weeks went by she was 100 pounds. I hope she never ever has to go there again. And fire that nurse he's horrible. Well now 3 and a half months after my mom's surgery. She has 2 infections the insigian burst open they had her in the hospital. She got bed sores. Then my mom went home where she had tubes coming out of her to drain the infection. She lost so much weight in 2 months she was down to 68 pounds she stopped eating and now she passed away on 07-15-2018. My poor mom I miss her so much I would never say anything good about this hospital. Now when I hear people come into my work and say they have to go there for surgery I tell the I would never go there. Sad sad sad.

The nurses and doctors are knowledgeable, compassionate, responsive to the patient's body and spirit. I was allowed to stay with my husband throughout his stay. I could be with him 24/7 if need be. I was given a room to sleep in so I wouldn't have to drive the 45 miles back and forth each day. St Lukes is the best.

My husband received the most fantastic care possible due to these 3 nurses: Morgan, Annaliese and Jil...thankful that they made everything run smooth and efficiently!

Awesome Doctors n staff

Shahad Elttayef

Best service ever.

Scmokey McTedderson

i have seen multiple specialist here for 99% basic medical care, but the good old St.Lukes lets Physicians Assistants do the doctors job, this system where i dont see an actual doctor has been a major concern, as these PA dont have the knowledge to help a patient heal properly, shame on your doctors for this....the last PA, i saw literally turned his back and walked out while i was still asking him questions.....they should be called just St. Lukes because "care" should not be placed anywhere near this hospital...ontop of that, they dont have adequate people doing valet, disabled i had to walk after parking, i was late.

Hannah L

My first ER experience and first surgery experience here and couldn’t have been happier or more comfortable. Didn’t have to wait in the ER and everyone was SOOOOOOO NICE!!! It was not fun having my appendix taken out but the people that work there made me feel fine.

Debi Nelson-Donnenfield

Expedient valet parking at all 3 main entrances. Never a wait for my appointments. Receptionist, nurses, technicians all employees, are very kind, thoughtful and helpful. You get your results very quickly with a call and My Advocate Aurora mobile app.

Michael Tyborski

St Luke's looks impressive, but intimidating. It's huge. Patients see varying levels of accommodation. Visitors hope to find the patient and then their car. We all quickly learn that high overhead means high billing. Hope your insurance is good. Thanks to a cardiac issue, this reviewer stayed for a week. The nursing staff was great. Better yet, the food service group and dieticians were super. St Luke's meals taste very good now. Feed your body and help its recovery. Don't try to survive on medication alone. My dead brother showed what happens. He was a CICU patient. The hospital uses a medical team to help you. It ensures a variety of treatment options and experts. My brother loved it. I had an experience, however, that gets listeners a story. Be sure to get your primary physician involved. He or she can audit and explain the options. Overall, all Aurora facilities seem to be expensive. Talk to your insurance company and see if they cover most charges. Restore your sense of purpose, treat your body and mind well, and have faith. A higher power and St Luke's Hospital want you to continue uplifting your circle of influence. Get well soon.

Visit the on March 3 and 4th I live in Chicago The nurses and staff was very nice at that time My sister had open heart surgery , I called the ICU unit on Thursday morning to find out how she was doing , her nurse Tammy on the Cardio unit told me she didn't have time that we needed to get together and find out what's going on I thought it was very unprofessional .. I spoke to someone name Pam Geipel , and questions weren't answer ... Thank you Phyllis Williams

Nels Petersen

Are they taking very good care of me I have a lot of issues when I go there they're always very polite I am known as the muffin man because I bring them muffins

Derek Pucel

Got diagnosed wrong and they didn't own up to it. Had to spend even more mo st elsewhere to resolve issue. Mediocre professionalism and a less than knowledgeable staff does not seem like a great place to me... I'd give it 0 if I could.

theresa b

Pretty much killed my grandpa, seriously disgusting nurses and doctors. Out of the 100 nurses he had, there was 1 good one and she could’ve been better. A nurses lied about giving my grandpa a med he needed and he never got it until we said something good thing it wasn’t a life or death med right ? DO NOT take your loved ones here , they deserve better !!!!

Prem Raj

ER is a joke. If you are in pain don't come here. Wait times for one room is 4 hours. Professionals?? Lol

Chuck Sunn

I had four surgeries in five months. The staff was just wonderful. My doctors were excellent. All the people who cared for me showed real concern and expertise at their job. If I need to go into the hospital again this would be my choice.

Todd Wendling

This place is very good in taking care of you I was scared but the nurses and the CNAS I had were very very caring they made my stay very comfortable they kept asking me if I needed anything and they made my stay very good and I was very pleased

Shelbel Nowacki

I like working here but some days are harder than other days.

Di Lemberger

Horrible attitude by many RNs and CNAs. I spent a month here mostly in ICU. I was ignored, treated disrespectfully, laughed at when I was crying in pain. Even worse, my wedding rings were stolen off my hand while I was unconscious. I've been in numerous hospitals last 40 years, this was absolutely the worst.

ER Waiting room was extremely long, but after that I received excellent care. I love how the Doctors and Nurses wanted to work with me regarding my treatment. Highly recommend.

Jake Jagmin

Thank you for saving my mom (successful heart transplant). Great all around.

Chris Borner

Good hospital, but don't go there for emergency help. The emergency waiting room is backed up for hours because of all the idiots who are there for a sniffle or hang nail. Come On People! Ever hear of making an appointment with a family practitioner for common cold? Do you really have to go to the emergency room because you stubbed your toe?!!! Get it together!!!

Donna Heyrman

The care and service by staff was outstanding!! The doctor's were well informed and caring.

My boyfriend had an accident and went to ER Aurora Hospital and he was drunk in the accident. The ER Ortho Dr. and Nurse and assistant cut off his legs. He went home and had to take Prescription from the Hospital DR 's It was Dog Medicine and also told to Take Tylenol and He died from overdosing. I don't think the pain pills was right-- it was dog medicine.

I had a radiology appointment on April 24th for 10:30 am. I arrived 15 minutes early per their instructions. I went to the desk to check in and the receptionist gave me gowns and led me to the back and let me know they would be calling me pretty soon. So I wait, it’s now about 11am, and other patients are walking in after me and getting called right back to be seen. So I ask a passing nurse was my name called just to be sure and she told me it would take a while because the scanning room was booked. Ok, so I wait until about 11:30 which my appointment was scheduled for an hour ago and I was supposed to have two. One was supposed to be at 10:30 and the other 12. I go back to the front desk since no nurses were around and ask her about how long did she think I would be waiting. She was surprised they hadn’t even taken me back for my first appointment at this time, and I explained to her that I had to leave by 1pm. She comes back to the waiting area with me and finds a nurse to ask them. She comes back with a nurse , and the nurse again explains they’re backed up(not my fault) and says give them 15 mins. More like 30 minutes went by and more people after me are going back. So now it’s almost noon and I’m finally going back. The lady does a scan or whatever and lets me kno she will get the radiologist to check it out. It’s 12:05 now she comes back and tells me she has to call my doctor for missing info? Nobody ever came back so I get dressed and I’m on my way to leave it’s 12:50 now. I waited that whole time in the room with no check in. A nurse sees me leaving and ask Can I wait 5 more minutes after I tell her I had to leave which they already knew I had to leave at 1pm. I wait the 5 minutes she then comes to apologize and say how they’re backed up again and they will call me if they need any additional info. Wow just wow I didn’t even get anything accomplished, don’t know any new info about what’s going on with me if anything. The scan wasn’t explained because no one came back and didn’t even know if I needed the second appt. my scheduled appointment was at 1030 and I was early there was no way I should’ve been leaving empty handed by 1pm. The whole ordeal was inconsiderate of my time and unprofessional. I won’t be going back I will drive further to a different hospital for better results if I’m going to be wasting my gas and time anyway for nothing. Worst hospital service ever, they need to do better!

Ra Ma Zan

They don't care much about a person who doesn't speak well at this hospital Nurse.

My son had a cold, so they said. He went to emergency room with a SOB symptoms asking for a specialist, they told him they will be needing to run some test on him before. No specialist was on duty, they gave him cold medicine, a recomendation for a pulmonologist and a $10,000 bill to pay. They didn’t help at all, my son still has problems breathing.

I had retina detachment surgery here...the worst ever!! I told ELEVEN employees (we wrote all of their names down) in the surgery area that I was extremely allergic to the sedative that they had planned on using I was reassured by the doctor they would not use it but they did anyway!! The next day I had to go back to be checked I could hardly stand I was extremely ill from the medication! They left me on a bench in the main corridor vomiting for way over an hour!! My husband finally went back into the office and demanded that someone take care of me. I will NEVER step foot into this so called hospital again!!

Brought my mom to the Er here, she waited for 3 hours in extreme pain before being told she had to wait to be taken back. So we decided to take her to saint Francis where she receive immediate help. The only time saint Luke is any help if you are ready emited to the hospital.
