Staff throughout has loud private conversations with much laughter without respect for the patients. Is there any management in this place?

I started getting some pain in my abdomain after lifting some heavy objects at work. Was forced to go to the walk in clinic by my employer. At the walk in they ran several tests ect and 3 hours later the doctor said "I believe you just pulled a few ab muscles but I'm not sure so you will need to go to the ER." I asked to just be released but they would not give me a release to be able to return to work the next day. So at the ER was pretty much the same thing. Started my journey at 3pm at the walk in and did not walk out of the ER until well after midnight. To top it all off because neither doctor would say the pain was from pulled muscles but just said they were unsure, work mans comp insurance denied the claim. Then Wheaton failed to submit the bills in time to my health insurance and I was stuck with over 4 grand in bills out of pocket.

First I want to say that Dr Alexander is amazing

The hospital is trash. Drive to Kenosha instead of this.

Our nurse Challen did an amazing job. We received exceptional service which I know was difficult for her judging by the rude, obnoxious, and disrespectful family in the room next to us. Challen was extremely professional and competent. Made a tough er visit pleasant.

Tried Wheaton's Labor and Delivery after TERRIBLE care through Aurora. The OB said he would take me on as a patient even though I was 36 weeks along and high risk. Best care I received my entire pregnancy!!! Everything was explained to me extremely well and the staff was incredible in Labor and Delivery! I have transferred all my care to be through them now!

the er is a joke..so slow and inconsiderate ppl..but as far as other departments I've never had a problem

I felt like the doctor did not want to do his job. He told me that the work i needed done would be 3 to 4 hours long instead of being concerned about my well being. It was a choice being the condition of the situation he should of took as an urgent situation. After all that i was told to follow up with there doctors office who still denied to set me an appointment after i took the necessary steps to get seen. Even my financial aid rep told me that they will not deny me an appointment but when i called i was rushed off the phone and told i had to wait on the paperwork. Wisconsin health services and workers are horrible especially Racine. Im pregnant and should not have to travel elsewhere to be seen. This is ridiculous and i wish i did not come to this horrible damn state!

If I could give "Wheaton Franciscan" "All Saints" "Ascension zero stars I would. March 2019 I called to the billing department to pay my large bill in FULL. Here's my debit card, I am done with this place, please take my money so I can leave. For 1 entire week, several tiny payments came out of my account, two weeks after paying my bill in FULL, I check my statement bc only half was taken from my bank account. Called again. And again. AND AGAIN. requesting a manager to assist and correct their mistake. Every time I called, a manager was unavailable & would call me back & everytime I called again, there was no note for a manager call. I did feel comfortable giving my permission to take the other half of my bill. Finally 1 MONTH after the initial paid in FULL request, I got in touch with a manager, and she SWORE she would make sure all the accounts were paid & if they did not then she would follow up a week after. That week several transactions came out, BUT $19. I waited for that manager's call, none. Called and requested her, unavailable. Requested callback. NO CALL BACK TO THIS DAY. I got in contact with a financial advocate in the women's health pavilion, and she advised to just reach out to her & she will make any payments I needed and they would come out the same day. Was going to call her to pay the 19 dollars, only to find that the billing department took $115!!!!! And their only explanation for this was that I did not cancel my payment plan. THERE SHOULDN'T BE A PAYMENT PLAN IF SOMEONE ASKS A REP TO PAY YOUR BILL IN FULL. WHY DIDN'T THE FIRST PERSON WHO TAKE MY CARD CANCEL THE PAYMENT PLAN???? FINE, bill is paid in full. AND I had to request a credit bc they wouldn't send a credit without confirmation that I wanted it. YES. I want my money that you took, when I didn't give permission to take. Takes 4 to 6 weeks for a debit card credit bc they only send credits by check. So I am short $115 dollars to pay my medical bills for ME, for my CHILDREN bc I didn't request a cancellation of payment plan when I PAID MY BILL IN FULL. FINE, going to wait the 6 weeks for my check and the rep who gave me the credit CANCELLED the payment plan. NOPE. I am 4 weeks after the last time they took my money that I didn't owe. THEY TOOK IT AGAIN. This billing department is the worst!! I gave you all I owe, and you cant even take it. And then when I finally get it paid [took TWO months] they continue to take my money. I have been trying to leave this hospital for MONTHS, and I am still stuck dealing with them. DO NOT GO HERE. even if your doctor is great, if you have to deal with the billing department- it is not worth it. 5/30- edit to add. 5/23 Went into wheaton to get my credit. Was inform that the financial advocates in wheaton do not have access to see the new billing accounts anymore. Was informed Argelina would call me 5/29 to tell me the amount I was credited & to send the check out. No phone call.

The baby doctor is really pissing me off because they kept asking to vaccines my son. Why can’t they respect my decision? This is why I decided to look for other place with a better doctor that will respect my decision. And even worse part I got 2 letters from 2 different company concern about not giving my son vaccines..how the heck did they know when I thought they do keep my son’s health in confidential that against the privacy policy. Mmm I called them and told them how I felt but same thing happen at the next visit. Never again.

It is ridiculous had to play tag with nurses for an answer to a question

My cousin went here. Stay away. My cousin was never treated with good results and caught the nurse in lies. When she told the doctor, the doctor fired her as his patient.

I had THEE most horrible experience. I had to ask my nurses if i could give my son a bath, i had to ask to get in the shower after birth. I had bug eggs in my food and it took 2hrs after kitched closed to get me my dinner replacement and i had recieved my original food 2hr before kitchen closed. They had bo duaoering utensils for my child until i asked. Cheap pacifiers and i had to ask for that. They gave me 4diapers at a time as well as pads for myself. Never checked on us . Uncomfortable experience ever . The nurses were loud in the hallways at night and all . I will go to Aurora again if i ever have a kid in wisconsin again. I shouldve risked having the baby in the car to go to aurora

My cousin was sent here today by her doctor and she was seen by Dr Kathleen Shallow M.D. for sickle cell and they basically told her she was faking that's absolutely not true long story short she is in the hospital now very sick. If I could give this a rating of 0 I would. Everyone that come through your emergency department is not seeking attention. AND NOW THAT IS ON HER MEDICAL RECORD FOR NOTHING

James Bonnar

I went in for a colonoscopy and they mistakenly amputated both my arms and legs. Now I'm sippin from a straw.

Mrs Lady

Worst emergency department ever.they are consistently short staffed never compassionate towards the sickly. the workers walked around laughing an cracking jokes no one wants to hear that if one is not feeling good. I waited more then 5 hours just to get a room I arrived at 730p and didnt leave till 245a. If at all possible dont come to this Hospitals emergency department.

Hospitalist refused to listen to us when we told her my 85 year old Father (who we took in over concerns he was suffering possible respiratory complications from a cold) was on fluid restrictions because of CHF. Told long and alarmingly personal story to prove how headstrong she was and wasn’t going to let anyone tell her her job. She ordered 3 liters of IV fluids. A bigger hang bag than I’ve ever seen. By the next morning, my father coded and ended up in the ICU for several days. They quietly fired the Dr. (Sheree Lauth) and then shuffled my Father our as fast as they could. He needed physical therapy but didnt receive any, they introduced a new medication on the day he was released that led to severe side effects. By the time he got home he was in substantially worse shape than when he went into the hospital. Thanks to Wisconsin’s medical malpractice shenanigans, we have no recourse for the harm done to my Father not the emotional distress to my entire family.

Tom Rolfson

Like another reviewer I would quickly choose to go to another ER. Once through the ER the rest of hospital treatment is decent. A recent encounter brought my 103-yr-old grandmother to the 3rd floor oncology wing. The nurses and respiratory therapists there were great. They are a 5-star crew who brought the overall score from 1 to 3.

john smith

I had to edit because I just read the other reviews here. Many people are suffering because the dangerous, greedy incompetence of this "Catholic" organization. ATTENTION RACINE! Clean up OUR town and boot these dangerous shysters out of our City. Despicable rude uncaring, and dangerous. I have never been treated worse, never had a hospital full of "Health care professionals" be more unprofessional, more uncaring, rude, hostile aggressive, and just plain incompetent before in my life. This entire company is really quite dangerous and worthless. And this is AFTER I have visited THREE Other doctors in that toilet of a building (its is DISGUSTINGLY UNCLEAN BTW) All three were just Dripping with snot. And I SWEAR ON BIBLES that two of them wiped there disgusting booger on their sleeves in front of me. These incompetent sleazy weirdos allow DR with a raging cold or worse examine and touch their customers. Shut this *&^Thole down. The Walk in "Doctor" Judy Welminah , or some such. Is especially dangerous. A ego maniacal wack job. If it wasnt for an actual compassionate human being and real professional at the Walgreen's. I would so much worse off then I am listing to the imbecile Walk in clinic women they called hilariously Doctor. Short plump, white brunette hair. A simply awful little troll of a "human being". If they stick you with this ghoulish creep RUN. When I went out to complain about this creepy woman I had to wait in line with others as everybody was livid and complaining about lack of treatment, deplorable conditions, and rude nasty little "DR" If you lucky enough to have a choice, Choose anybody over these awful hacks. Without any choice we had to return tto this awful place, and they just rang up unneeded tests in the ER. I over heard nurses talking about trying to get me to consent to more unnecessary tests. These people are just despiable

James Morelan

Waited 45 minutes for a nurse when in pain.

I went here after I was in a bad automobile accident and I had a skull fracture and a 8mm subdermal hematoma. First they missed the fracture in the X-ray. And they released me after one night in the hospital with only asprin. Which you don't want to give someone who has bleeding on the brain! I ended up going to st Luke's in Milwaukee and spent a week and a half there. I'll never go back to this hospital!

March 5th I had a OBGYN appointment. Everything was perfect until I tried to send a picture to my mother of the ultrasound in the room waiting for the nurse. She proceeded to demand me get off my phone and shoved a paper in my face touching me with the paper. I told her she was a mean one and that I didnt like her and that I did not want to speak with her. She kept forcing herself on me even though I said no means no. She kept following me. I am a victim of previous experience and told the ladies in the front that if she touches me again I will punch her which by law if she touches me I can get her off. These people do not care about your unborn children. They do not care about your mental health and they do not respect boundries. They don't have your best interests in mind or in heart and will abandon you when a disgruntled nurse with an ego problem decides to make up what happened in a waiting room. A proper investigation was not done and they do not want you to be happy or healthy. "A doctor would not make money kf everyone was healthy." Good Acension your whole protocal is terrible and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

review about Dr. Iftekhar Bader, Dr. did not give us many options about the condition of our father and the 3 appointments that we had were pretty quick and not much was done. we have to look for someone else. This doctor does not seem very informed in his field. after a week we found a specialized team at the university of chicago medica center and we found out that the condition of my father actually has hundreds of sources and it could very well be treated once we found the cause and could live a good quality of life Vs. this morgue in racine that we were pretty much told there is no solution and pretty much medicate my dad until his death with steroids,,, This Hospital is at least 10 years behind modern medicine,,, if you have other options don't bother with this place.

The OB GYN clinic is horrible! While the Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare facilities may be rated 5 stars, the staff members clearly deserve 1-2 stars. I have had the worse experience at the Medical Center on Spring st. in Racine, WI. I normally do not write bad reviews, or any reviews for that matter, but I did not appreciate the lack of competence and services provided. I found out that I was pregnant June 12, 2014 when I went to the emergency room. I had an ultrasound done, and the doctors were unsure if the pregnancy was viable because my hcg levels were abnormal. They referred me to Dr. Rachel Laven OB GYN doctor for follow-up and blood work. It took them a week to complete all blood work (something that should be expedited if you are in an high-risk pregnancy). Just to tell me that my hcg levels were normal. It took the OB GYN clinic another four weeks to get me a routine checkup for prenatal care. My appointment scheduled for four weeks out, during my 6 week of pregnancy, was canceled because the receptionists scheduled an appointment with the doctor before scheduling an appointment with the nurse educator (seeing the educator is something you must do before seeing the doctor). At this point, I was told that I would not be able to see the nurse educator for another week, and the doctor for another two weeks. After I mentioned to the nurse that I am in an high risk pregnancy (having had three miscarriages and three premature births), she "assured" me that it was nothing she could do. "It is up to the doctor," she said. I have never been so upset in my life. It is now July 30th and I am now 11 1/2 weeks pregnant, in an high risk pregnancy, and have never seen this Dr. Rachel Laven "OB GYN Specialist" not even once. When I had an ultra sound when I was 6 weeks pregnant, the technician was extremely rude and didn't speak to me once. And she was also rude to my husband.I am now about to enter my second trimester in the second week of August and I have yet to see a prenatal doctor. I am very upset with the nurses and doctors' carelessness for pregnant women. I will not be seeking care from this facility again!

I loved my doctors here and rarely had a complaint in over ten years with them, but I am switching to Froedtert because All Saints now puts religious ideology over patient needs and won't perform tubal ligations or vasectomies.

I don't know what all the whining is about, this place is awesome!!! Friendly, courteous staff, clean, and I never have a problem making an appointment. 10 stars!!!!

I don’t know what everyone else was talking about but I had the BEST 2 month hospital stay experience possible. The nurses were always fun, and they actually talked to me. Like really sat down and had conversations with me. Even the room cleaner lady would come in and talk to me everyday. I loved her! Still can go to this hospital to this day and reminisce about my birth and everything. They took great care of me and my daughter and they even took care of my husband. (Most of them, if they were rude we just asked for a new nurse). I love Wheaton! Wouldn’t go anywhere else to deliver my children.

Elderize Von-Schilling Worth

Maternity ward is the worst. If you wanted to stay in a pigsty and have your newborn sleep in a dirty crib with old milk stains and dust visible even to the blind, then this is the place for you! Be aware of your in room dining options: raw chicken Parmesan is top of the menu...my husband had to bring sandwiches from home so we could sustain life. Between lack of sleep ( nurses barging in lights on every hour right through the night) hardly any food and incompetence with training nurses and overconfidence with another, ALL BOUNDARIES will be crossed. Now god forbid you ask the nurse for a breast pump to assist your newby with nursing...miss overconfident will refuse you and rattle every cage with her comments and opinions. Then after trying your outmost best to stay friendly and tell her “your comments are noted but I’d like a pump please “..she still refuses, by again and again giving her 10cents. God help me, I had it with it all and just wanted to go home. Little missy then stirred the pot by alarming every one we were leaving: security came running in and a nasty woman with nothing but rude gestures standing inside my room typing and having one phone call upon the other THIS ALL 11pm at night and only 2 days after a major C-Section and tubular sterilization procedure. Then she has the audacity to tell me there is the door but baby will stay. At this point I uttered my first words to this woman telling her its my right to leave with my child, get the paperwork ready for me to sign. She giggles at me and turns to my husband stating that if we left our insurance would not cover the cost of our baby’s delivery nor stay. My husband, a doctor, at this point corrected her and said that leaving should bare no weight on whether we were covered or not because the care was already given and we are covered by insurance and had gotten the go ahead from two pediatricians that our baby was 100% fine, and Not to be concerned with baby loosing anything below a score of ten because that is normal for all breastfeeding babies. There was no medical concerns yet we were being held hostage in the worst condition in a time that should have been our happiest. When we finally got the paperwork the last comment from that nurse was: “ you know the way out”. Needless to say no one should ever have to be treated this way. If you have a choice of care and providers I highly suggest you consider the alternatives to this facility.

i would give it negative stars if possible! if you would like your loved ones to be neglected, ignored or treated as if they’re an inconvenience than this is the hospital for you. with the exception of a few good nurses, the majority have a horrible attitude and treat family and patients as is they are less than. this. place needs serious awakening of compassion and empathy

I went in with blood clot in calf told me I would have 4inch incision and be done in 45min. Needless to say they screwed up and amputated my leg above knee

I will never ever Come to this hospital ever again, I came from Kenosha For help for my daughter mental health and Drug addiction, we set in a small cold room no bed, The nurse left a needle dangling in my daughter arm while she look for tape, I asked for coffee because I was cold I never received it. Social worker seen to be confused had no idea how to seek help for my daughter. We set in the emergency room for almost 6 hours just to get sent home and we was pretty much told come back when she overdose, if My Daughter die from y’all lack of time and need. I blame the stupid Nurse and social worker! I will never come back not even on my deathbed

AVOID THEIR AUDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT LIKE THE PLAGUE - WORST SERVICE YOU WILL NEVER GET. Made an appointment to have an audiogram and program a pair of NEW Siemens hearing aids my wife purchased for me as a 25 year anniversary present. I checked on Siemens website and found All Saints is supposed to be a Premier Provider of service. Explained at that time that I did not purchase these from Wheaton Franciscan to be sure they could take care of it, and was assured there would be NO problem. When I arrived at my appt. the Audiologist Michelle asked me about the hearing aids and was more interested in where my wife purchased these from than anything else. She went ahead and performed the audiogram test at a cost of $165.00 which is outrageous considering that audiologists charge $50.00 - $100.00 for the same service. She then asked to see the hearing aids and insisted she needed to contact Siemens to verify the serial numbers???? After 10 minutes she came back to me and stated that she WOULD not program these because the serial numbers were not in Siemens database? She further stated that Siemens said that they most likely they were for overseas use and they do not have access to those serial numbers. She questioned the authenticity of the aids under the pretense that they might be counterfeit. At that point, I told her why not connect these to her computer and see if she could interface with the hearing aids and that would be all the proof she needed that they were authentic. Michelle refused and when asked her if they sold these hearing aids there and how much they were said $6,600.00 without even looking it up!!!! My wife purchased these for a fraction of the price as we are both on disability and fixed incomes and simply could not afford that much. I told her that no one asked me any questions about the hearing aids when I made the appointment and that even SHE did not mention before the audiogram that the serial numbers of the hearing aids is a factor in whether or not they would program them. I would have never driven an hour each way there and had them do the audiogram had I known they would refuse the programming service. Went to an audiologist somewhere else and paid $100.00 to program them and they work great. Contacted their customer care advocate and explained all of this and it seems they could care less even though they dropped the ball from the start to the finish. We will NEVER go there again and advise EVERYONE to avoid this facility as they are all about REVENUE.

At least for this current visit, 5 stars. My sweetheart received excellent care. They saved her life and all appreciations go out to all the staff in the ICU. Thank you

Billing department has been an absolute nightmare. I'm ready to change practices just because of this. I'm on the phone weekly with them, and every time something is wrong and they need time to fix it. Yet, they want me to pay right away. I keep talking to supervisors who are making mistakes as well, and it seems no one knows what to do. Would love to talk to someone that actually cares about the patient and doesn't treat you like another number that doesn't matter. How disappointing from a practice I'm trusting with my care. P.S. I love my doctors but the constant headaches and time out of my day for these phone calls are pushing me away. Added because once again I've been charged a random amount with no approval!! Stay away from here! Randomly charged an amount that is completely random. No automatic payments set up, due date isn't today, and not monthly amount I am to pay WITH ENTERING MY OWN INFORMATION AT HOME. Absolutely no excuse for this. Account is overdrawn due to their mistakes so I will be expecting refund and overdraft fee. Bank won't forgive overdraft because I had to plead with them last time this happened to void it. And yes I've spoken to public relations in July and was assured it wouldn't happen again. Yet here we are. Ascension Will not be receiving my business anymore. I feel bad for the doctors who are great, but miss out on patients due to this ridiculousness.

I had really bad cramps in my lower abdomen i went in after the pain got so bad i was rushed from work to the hospital. They told me i had a bladder infection n sent me on my way. 3 days later i returned to find out i had several cysts on my ovaries i hate this place id rather die. Not to mention, my nephew's blood sugar was 550 n they still made us wait 7 HOURS to get a room he was falling in and out of consciousness way too many problems

Beyond irritated at the care I received in the ER. I have a long list of neck and back issues and an established doctor and care team for them. I ended up in the ER because it was an EMERGENCY I popped something in my neck/ shoulder and was stuck and unable to move or lift my infant. I called my doctors who couldn’t get me in until the following week seeing it was a Friday, they instructed me to go to the ER. I went. The doctor who treated me barely gave me the time of at. Ordered no imaging, didn’t do any type of resistance assessment or range of motion. Treated me like trash and acted like I was some drug seeking patient. She sent me home with glorified Ibuprofen and I had to insist on a muscle relaxer. Which she seemed reluctant to give me. I was in a nd out of the ER less than an hour. Unable to move or carry my 6 month old baby or turn to my right. The extra strain I have been putting on my body has now effected my entire wrist from holding her so awkwardly. My entire wrist is black and blue now. Thankfully i have a great team of doctors who know me but the care I received in the ER was completely degrading and disrespectful and ridiculous. She better hope I didn’t do MORE damage to my body seeing she did no medical care whatsoever. I will be filing a complaint with the hospital as well.

Almost Killed my Dad there twice. If you want to get rid of someone take them to Wheaten Franciscan/Ascention/All Saints/ St Mary's Hospital. Better yet! They're so undecided there, they can't even pick a name!

Mr. Zekman

If I can give -5 stars I would, the staff is unprofessional and incompetent. I went first thing in the morning for a blood test, nobody was waiting and I had to wait over 45 minutes before I got fed up and left because I had to work. The tip of the iceberg was having Dr. Hoang as my physician, for over a year he has been trying to regulate my blood sugar and pressure because of type II diabetes. If he wansn’t getting the results he would accuse me of lying, WTH kind of doctor would do that to his patients? I left that quack doctor and went somewhere else and my health has gotten a whole lot better. I wouldn’t even let Dr. Hoang check my tire pressure, avoid him at all cost.

Lauren Recupero

I’ve been going to this hospital pretty much my whole life & have had both of my children there. This last experience though was especially nice, I wish I could remember all of my nurses names in labor & delivery because they were all amazing, kind & helpful. Sometimes they’d forget to grab me something I’d ask for but because they check on you so frequently this wasn’t a problem at all. The doctors are always great too Dr. Pae & Dr. Naus are the doctors I & my son have. If I am ever blessed with another baby I will stick with the great people at Wheaton.

Brittney Brzezinski

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I never believed people when they said the workers here are "killers", but now I do! They gave me the wrong medicine, they put me on an antibiotic and I was suppose to be on a steroid. Then I bring my son and they do the same thing! They gave him the wrong medicine also. They make you wait forever and then when they FINALLY come in the room they rush out. Horrible service and seems like they just hire whoever applies. What if my insurance didn't cover my visits and I had to pay for this horrible service and wrong medicine? Horrible and way over due for a change!

Robert Ortiz

If I could give 0 stars I would they sent my 5 month old home with a 103 fever and said he fine

Tristan Scott

Went to the walk-in for an x-ray when I injured my wrist. End up getting three different bills for one visit. One from the hospital, one from the medical equipment department, and one from the radiologist company. Why can't these be consolidated into one bill?! Service was okay at best. Paid three-hundred dollars after insurance for them to give me an x-ray and tell me my wrist may or may not be broken and to come back if it still hurt in a couple weeks... Our healthcare system is pretty messed up. Will avoid this hospital in the future.

Caroline Korcz

I was taken to Wheaton, against my wishes. I very sick with pnuemonia. I was dehydrated and didn't receive my meds until I got home 36 hrs. later. I looked at my chart and saw all the meds directions were not correct. I gave them my Dr. name. They named a doctor I have not seen over 10 yrs. ago. I have no idea where my info was gleaned, it certainly was not at any facilities I told them to use. When others sing praises I have to wonder what alternate universe they are in.

Horrible experience they are very slow and dont seem to care for the patient. When you call a nurse it takes them way to long to help. I will never come here again.

The worst hospital in the world do not go here Cassandra the nurse rude and very insensitive 3rd floor if I could give no stars I would.

This hospital is terrible and thats putting it nicely. I brought my father in after having symptoms of dizziness, slurry words, and almost no cognitive function. Its been 5 hours in the er and all they have done is a ct scan and a pee test. My father is a diabetic and has not been offered any food or drink. He also suffers from sleep apnea and without his mask he’s just going to feel worse. We were told we were being moved out of the er “shortly” at 11:40am its now 12:29pm and we have yet to see anyone. The room has a previous patient’s jacket and the stickers they attach for the heartrate and nerves are just laying on the ground. I would never again bring anyone here for an emergency. Take the drive to Milwaukee its much faster and they get results.

My grandmother went in with a UTI and bleeding (while on blood thinners!) and they made her wait 6 hours before they just dismissed her! The next day she was much sicker and we took her to Froedert, where they marked her as an urgent patient and she then stayed for 4 days! Awful! Just skip this hospital and go to a different one!

My old man neighbor said if you are ever really sick keep driving past this place and go to FROEDERT in Milwaukee. Now I know what he meant I went there for a wrist injury and they wanted to work on my shoulder. I pre registered there and they said then that my insurance would be accepted. Well I got there and checked in and they took my insurance. Well 3 minutes before my appointment was over they came over and said your insurance is not accepted. On top of that my shoulder hurt after leaving(which was perfectly fine arriving) and my wrist. I found ALOT better care right after that at FROEDERT in Milwaukee.

Cockroach in my son's food- we had to bring food. My dtr-in-law took pics-tried to resolve issue NOT ANY RESPONSE !

We saw a perinatologist there when my wife was pregnant because she was high risk and they were great. They always answered the phone quickly when you called and they helped out a lot. We love our actual pediatrician but calling that place is a horror. I would rather call the IRS or Social Security office. When we call we often spend AT LEAST 15 - 20 minutes on hold waiting. We have been told multiple times that only nurses can schedule or change appointments but it is a hassle to get through. One time we were going to be late and started calling about a half hour before the appointment and finally got through as we were getting to the Dr's office just over a half hour later. Despite the fact that we had been trying to get through for quite awhile we were marked as a "No Show" and told that if we got to many of those we would be released from the practice and they rescheduled us for later that day. Even today as I write this my wife spent 30 minutes on hold to schedule an appointment and then easily another 20 minutes on hold trying to get back through to the office about something. They need to either recruit other office staff to answer the phones and help out or they need to hire more nurses to help out.

My mother was brought to the hospital which I later find out was not the 1st time as I live hour and a half away. I was being told by sister and her daughter my sister was taking care of her. I have now found that not only were the doctors concerned with the care my mother was getting they did nothing when all of a sudden my mother was not making it to her appointments. The problem here is me and my son were her Power of Attorney's and no one called or got a hold of it till it was too late. I then had to make decisions with my son's that were avoidable had this hospital done their job. That POA was in effect and done with their social worker, witness and Attorney in 2011. Yet for the next 9 days i had to watch my mother die slowly and painfully and I cannot comprehend this type of outright negligence. It was their legal duty. I'm sure I am not the only one out there..im so sorry for all. My sister in all this will get hers too...but these are supposed to be professionals and should have done their job. Also last week I went to see Dr. David Ross Family Medicine love him and Dr Nader. Only to find out Doctor Ross up and quit. He told me more than once not to go to this ER go to Janesville or Franklin but don't go there. You know it's bad when the doctor says not to. No one got a hold of me more lies

Call the head to get simple lab work done was told that was okay. hundred dollars for the visit but we don't know what the lab cost, we have no way of knowing. this is a 4 square block Hospital complex and we don't have any way of telling you how much something's going to cost. on top of it when I arrived they said they didn't know if they would be able to do it anyway

Michael Gallun

Dislocated Toe - PA Andrea Matson did a great job of treating me. She explained everything and was very nice.

I am solely reviewing for the "Emergency" Room. My family and I moved here in Racine, WI from Houston, TX just recently. So imagine the sudden change in weather. My 15 months old son have been sneezing, coughing and vomitted too on our 5th day, and we went to this hospital directly to their emergency room at around 7am. They took my son's vitals and etc after staying 10mins and told us to wait outside because they are "busy" and will be called in a while. Minutes and an hour have passed, people started coming in, and yes they were entertained as well. It was around 9:15am when my wife went to the receptionist and asked why there were no doctors checking the patients. Surprisingly, we got a response "Doctors started coming in". So I began wondering if it really is an "Emergency" room??? Imagine having no doctors attending emergency cases?? I know anyone can call 911 for emergencies, but seriously an emergency room without doctors? We left after 3 hours and 30 minutes of waiting! 3 hours and 30 minutes!

logan swanson

These people call themselves healthcare professional. Whatever the opposite of "professional" is, well that is what best describes them. By the way, don't try to get your medical records. You have to pay $1.06 a page. 100+ pages I needed and couldn't get them. There goes my claim against a pharmaceutical company. It's extortion. Not for profit organization. They don't have to pay taxes but all they care about is money. Rapid turn around rate with doctors. They pretty much have a monopoly. You are stuck with them. Remember they don't pay any taxes to the government, and they can do whatever they want.

Berenice Lorenzo

Every single time I need to make an appointment there always booked & I even had an appointment and then it got canceled like seriously why schedule me if your going to cancel my appointment!! And I always have to wait for a very long time just to get one appointment done! Basically waiting a whole month!

I had both knees replaced at the end of February and needed to stay at the hospital for 5 days. I loved it there! I was treated very well. Everyone was wonderful to me. The nurses and the nurses assistants did everyone to help me. The therapists were outstanding also.

The only reason I am still with ascension is because of doctor Paul Durbin. He is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. However, when I was referred to a specialist at ascension I ran into issues. I did my usual online review of the doctors in that practice division. Many of them were poorly rated but the ones that I would see, which were still listed on ascension's website, had left to Aurora six months prior. In a different specialty , the doctor I wanted to see is no longer practicing at the location listed on the website and has not for some time. The receptionist told me that many patients were getting frustrated that the website was woefully out of date including incorrect practice locations and telephone numbers. As a result of this, I have started to see my other doctors at Aurora health care. Those doctors are properly listed on their website and can get me within a week.

I gave birth here, and it was a terrible experience cause I gave birth but wonderful as well. The staff were fantastic and I love the pregnancy group that have. I have Christina Sullivan and her nurse that I am afraid I forgot the name of. They are both fantastic. As for the ER, they’re wonderful, too. I sprained my ankle and I was seen pretty quickly. There wasn’t much wait or a line, but that could of been the time of day I was there. I love Wheaton Franciscan Hospital.

Nathan J

Was involved in a skydiving accident and these guys were amazing, everything was smooth and doctors and nurses very professional, I had to get an MRI and it was done right away. Way to go All Saints team !!!

I would not send my worst enemy to the ER and probably not the hospital. I went into ER with symptoms of a stroke, after registering and explaining my symptoms to the person at the desk, I waited an hour in the lobby until I was taken to triage. After triage I waited another hour in the lobby before being taken back to a room. This is outrageous! I have had too many bad experiences with this hospitals ER. I would rather die than go there again. As far as the hospital goes, I would not recommend it. I had one good nurse during my time inside. The rest were awful. I had not even been discharged yet and they had already assigned my room to someone else. This made getting my meals a lengthy and frustrating process. If you end up staying beyond what they expect you to stay, you become the invisible patient. Your medications do not come, no one takes your vitals and no one comes in the room. Never again will I let myself be admitted. Never! Since Ascension took over it is almost impossible to get a call back from a nurse at a doctors office even if it is urgent. You can't get in to see YOUR doctor for months because they don't have any sick appointments. I have a doctor, but have had to see doctors who don't know a thing about me because my doctor is all booked up. What is the point of having a doctor that you trust and like, if you cannot see him/her. I do not trust any test results anymore, because there have been times when they were read wrong or the wrong diagnoses was made by the person reading the test. I would give this place a minus 5 star rating. I see that they won't let you post unless you select a star in the ratings. What's the matter Ascension? Don't want honesty in your reviews?

Justin Wheeler

Used their emergency room facilities in 2014 and could not have been more impressed with their prompt care. It was a busy night and I was still treated with care, given information for any question I asked. The doctors took their time, and treated a tense situation professionally. I obviously hope I don't have to go back to the ER but they do a great job for those that need it.

On Friday March 19 I showed up for my daughter's scheduled Dr appointment only to know that Dr Delgado took off. Dr office did not call to inform me. This was the third time in 18 months this happened after being moved under dr Delgado since our other pediatrician moved. I requested my daughter's medical records and forms that we were supposed to discuss during that visit. The office manager refused to give me the information to take to new Dr even after I had release of information filled out. She called security on me also since I didn't want to leave without these documents to take to new Dr. I spoke to her boss who in turn gave me the forms except for the Dr's notes since she still had not signed off on the tests and enter into computer as she was supposed to. Never again will I go back to this office. We were patients for 8 1/2 years without issue from other Dr. If I could rate with 0 stars I would.

We have only been there once, and do not plan to go back! We were sent to the ER after walk-in at Aurora told us they would not treat my husband's dog bite. Aurora told us my husband would need Rabies shots, so we went to the closest ER, which was Wheaten. After arriving at Wheaton, we found out my husband did not actually need Rabies shots (thanks Aurora). All they did was clean the wound, put on a bandaid, and prescibe antibiotics. In the hour we were there, we dealt with at least 8 people! The receptionist at the front, two other medical staff in triage, and another 5 in the treatment area including an RN who ran some saline over the bite and put on Neosporin, an MA who put on a bandaid, a physician's assistant who didn't do much of anything, a doctor who did even less, and another staff member to get additional insurance information. This visit resulted in over 2k in medical charges, including a vague charge for over 600 dollars from some unknown emergency medical company! Clearly there is some shady billing practices going on here. There was no reason for us to have been seen by that many people and charged so much for so little care. The staff themselves were nice enough, but the bill we received was completely outrageous, even after insurance! I will be asking both medical companies for an itemized bill. I encourage everyone who is seen at this facility to review your bill very closely!

Emily Ross

Staff all ALWAYS friendly, but it's a shame I can only give 2 stars strictly based on their HORRIBLE billing practices.

Mariah Mora

Staff really needs to go back to school or something. Many of the nurses didnt know what they were doing and kept making mistakes so many were rude and roughly handling icu patient. There are a SMALL handful of nurse on the icu floor that were amazing nurses and amazing at their jobs. But its not worth it go to fredort or aurora if it an emergency cuz this hospital is known for horrible nurses , misdiagnosis, and staff tht need to step up their service . Its not getting better .

I agree with all the bad reviews. I've unfortunately been here too many times, and every time it's the same thing with these people; incompetent, uncaring in some respects and is downright dangerous to your health. Just stay away! Please don't go here

Deb W

This hospital is horrible with a incompetent staff of doctors and nurses. The name should be Killer County Hospital because they will kill you.

Aron Laycock

Its a great place very friendly, however staff needs to work on their service.

Had a heart attack and staff there was quick, professional and very caring. Thank you to all!

My 23 year old grandson was seen in emergency room last night for dizziness and feeling faint. They did 3 EKG's , noting they was something wrong but they were not sure what. He was told he "needed to see a cardiologist within 2 days" (and wrote this on the discharge papers). He called this morning to cardiology and was told they could not get him I. Until the end of the month and that they were aware that he was told to see a cardiologist in two days but there was nothing they could do. I am totally aghast at this irresponsible response that verges on medical neglect at the least. What good is an order from the cardiologist in emergency room if the cardiologists at the same institution are not prepared to honor and respect that order. Inexcusable!!,

Lisa coca

Fast, efficient and flexible. I had an emergency and needed care; my Dr was able to fit me in SAME DAY! Extemely compassionate and more than accomidating! I'm not only greatful, but IMPRESSSED. Dr. Reginald Adams is awesome! SO REFRESHING.

Charles Walton

Elizabeth L. from the Cardiac Diagnostics Department has a warm compassionate heart which was a true blessing during a difficult time for my wife. Thank you and God bless you for you kindness.

Michelle Murdoch

This hospital is one of the worst I have ever been in. The staff is unprofessional, clearly hate what they do, and the system seems stuck in the 70's - inefficient to a shocking degree. The rest of the world has moved forward without you, Racine, Im so sorry - ex. paper prescriptions? Really? Not to mention their tobacco free campus signs are hilarious considering how many staff members literally sit directly under them puffing away. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Daari Pawelski

I don't know how this place stays open. I had neck pain due to an accident, and when I needed treatment, my first doctor was a resident with only 2 weeks left, and refuse to treat me at all. Because I was in between insurance from my job which I had to quit, and medicaid, I had to pay for that visit, even though he didn't do anything. The next doctor did a female exam, and did nothing about my pain. I went to the next doctor, and he took an xray that didn't show anything. He snapped at me about how it's all in my head, there's nothing wrong with me. He and another doctor sent me to PT which made my neck hurt more, each time. My next doctor was the worst. I had pneumonia, and the cough was making my neck hurt totally bad. She laughed at me about how I have funny symptoms. When I called and complained, she called my drug store and cancelled every last one of my prescriptions, even from my previous doctors. Then, even their Pride Line would refuse to talk to me about the situation. Another time, my niece swallowed a penny. The ER had them waiting for 4 hours in the waiting room, before they finally said they can't help. Instead of helping her get to Children's in Milwaukee, they made my sister go in her rickety junk car to drive the whole way, and my niece almost choked on the penny lodged in her throat. With care like this, why not just go straight to the morgue?

Mariah Vandiford

This hospital is such a inconvenient place. Staff is rude and nothing has gotten better. The nurse I had tonight sat and talked to another nurse for an hour and a half giggling and talking loudly then proceed to flirt with a male staff member over the phone and when he was in the room. She isnt checking in like she supposed to just filled in the little box like she came in 2 or 3 times while being in the room for 5 minutes. She then accused my mother of taking drug while in icu. When my mother tried to tell me she was quickly shut down by nurse. The nurses were rough and when I asked question all of a sudden didnt know anything. The case manager of the hospital please visit hospital and dont let them fool you they are aware you are here and act differently when u are present on the floor. This is unacceptable and if it wasn't an emergency we would've never came here. Staff need more schooling in many aspects of their job.
