I went in for severe back spasms that left me unable to walk I waited mybe 10 minutes to be put in a room. A nurse was there immediately (Anna or Annie I think was her name) to get my vitals and symptoms. I was in excruciating pain so she was able to attempt to control that before the doctor came in. When I saw Dr. Raju she was so kind, even softly touching my hand as I was writhing in pain. I spent most of the day there getting scans and tests while they tried to get my pain under control. I was not able to walk into the ER, but I was able to walk out with minimal pain. About 5 minutes ago I received a follow up call from a nurse who was checking to see how I was feeling. That's why I decided to write this review. The follow up made me feel like they care. What a wonderful procedure. Thank you

I went to pediatric ER yesterday for my daughter who was coughing running temperature abdominal pain and severe headaches. After I got into the room. One hour later a doctor /Dr. Kabab she was working with nurse Michelle/ come in ask my daughter some questions and said she’s has strep throat. Then it took them another hour to do the test in the meantime I have to beg for pain medication this doctor ignored all symptoms of my child she didn’t do any assessment even she didn’t listen to her lungs when she saw her coughing even for her diagnosis she didn’t ask my child to open her mouth to k her throat. I was so surprised for her to diagnose with out any assessment. Long story short we stayed from 1-5pm and they told me a child with elevated temperature, headaches coughing and abdominal pain has nothing wrong with her. After I got home paying 200 dollars co-pay my child get sick again and I have to take her to another ER and diagnosed with respiratory infection and pay another money. I’m glad my child has a solution and diagnosis. But please Dr. Kabab I hope I spell your name right, do assessment before any diagnosis which causes delayed care or even worse. I’m sure I’m not going back to this ER again.

Had a fantastic experience at the HCA Reston Hospital Pediatric ER today thanks to an amazing pediatrician Dr. Kane as well as great nurses and PA. Been here a few times with less satisfactory experience but this time was textbook perfect. This hospital is growing and improving and serving the Dulles corridor. As a doctor I have always trusted the outpatient surgery center. Happy to see the ED is also now stellar.

I wouldn't come back to this ER by choice. Even if I were gut shot. Unless I wanted to make sure my pockets would be emptied out before shipping me off to the morgue. Then I'd go because they are definitely good at figuring out how to get paid. This is how you are treated even when you are sent down there by your doctor to have your head scanned before prescribing you anything for migraines since it could be an aneurism. Please, if I stroke out and die just kick some dirt on me and leave it at that.

Let's be totally honest and real and human. As humans we do a lot of bad by intention. Some by mistakes and some or lot by ignorance. Yes there are all those humans even at hospitals. Racist , hateful, ignorant and ones who dont care but just want a paycheck. Same is the case with clinics doctors mechanics even the president and the white house. And yes i have been to many hispitals seen the worse i swear. Even died couple of times by hospital doctors nurses mistake but i did not sue no one or lashed out. This visit at Reston hospital. I want to say that doctor named ahmed and the rest if the crew were very caring and genuinely. I heard and saw same caring attitude to all other patients arriving next doors and in hallways. Nurses were good and great too. I am in hospital because of hateful racist people , in first place. I never had heart and lung issues but after deliberately exposed to carbon monoxide poisoning by the hateful people. Lucky that i survived but now suffering badly. I must say we are humans from one father Adam. We are all one family. Stop hate and stop all evil to each other. If you were wronged because someone enjoys doing that to people then teach them a lesson. If it was a mistake by someone , forgive them. And try to guide them too. God bless the humans the planet the birds the animals. God bless us all. Lets be truly humans again.

This is for an ER visit Took my 2 year old on Saturday night for broken clavaclie, nothing was done and we were discharged without any procedure or restraint for baby's shoulder or arm, they didn't have her size sling or restraint in the hospital, its basic equipment, duh. The physician on duty said he will call the orthopedic physician/surgeon on call and he came back to tell us what he said. orthopedic surgeon on call told physician to have us follow up with him on monday and said it did not look like an urgency since child was able to do basic motions with hand and no blood flow restriction, Recommend rest and over the counter child motrin. Here is the problem, we call monday to his office only to find out he is not a pediatric orthopedic physician and was not even in the office on monday, worst part he not seeing patients in the office. Complete waste of our time, we could have used the Sunday to look for other pediatric orthopedic physicans. Not sure how he was qualified to treat toddler if he is not taking pediatric patients. Will never be going back or recommend this place to anyone, especially if ER does not have qualified physicans.

They were very nice and kindest. I took my wife there because she had an extreme hard breathing and coughing. They took care of her and helped her until she felt fine. Thanks for all the staff especially Dr. Todd.

Very unorganized, old systems, diagnosis incorrect as I know my body and the should know test results can be wrong if something is diluted. More focus on paper work after explaining error than treatment. Nurse was great but I will never be back even if dying. Go to Virginia hospital in Arlington instead. Worth the drive . Waste of time and money

My wife delivered at Reston and we had a great experience. A couple of shout outs to nurse Patti in labor and delivery and nurses Nadine and Anne in postpartum. They got us through a long labor and were so helpful showing first time parents how to do things. Would definitely deliver here again
