I had a very positive experience here. Dr. Bicher performed my surgery, and I could not be more pleased. She, her staff, and all of the nurses and doctors were so kind. They explained everything that would happen, worked efficiently, but still took time to answer my questions in a caring manner. The pre-op process was very thorough. This is a great place to be if you have to have surgery.

I have my 2nd boy delivered in this new inova hospital, everything was different then it was 11 yrs ago. But the nurses and doctors here are always wonderful. The new one is even better, I misses my stay, which I never did 11 yrs ago.

There is nothing bad I can say about this Hospital. The Women's surgery center was exellent. All of the staff from the front desk to the pre-op nurses were wonderful and very kind. The surgical facility was very clean and sterile. My Surgeon was the best as were the rest of the surgical team. After surgery I awoke in recovery in a great deal of pain and they had a nurse on hand to adminaster what I needed as quickly as possible. They didn't move me until after my pain was under control. Unfortunately for me I had to be moved to the Cardiovascular wing of INOVA Fairfax Hospital due to complications with a Heart condition. I can't say much accept they were a far cry from the expert care I recieved in the Women's Wing of this enormous Hopsital complex. I highly recommend this women center if you require any type of female surgery. I can't speak for their birthing center though.

So let me share my experience by comparing this hospital to fair oaks hospital. We gave birth to our 1st daughter at Fairfax new maternity building 2 years ago and just recently gave birth to our 2nd daughter at fair oaks hospital. It's like comparing a Mercedes to a Hyundai. The new building at Fairfax was an amazing experience, the staff was super kind and friendly, the food was 3x better than fair oaks. The room in fairfax is 2x bigger than then fair oaks rooms. I mean, fairfax is like a suite at Marriott while fair oaks is like Motel 6. The sleeping sofa at fairfax was a much more comfortable than the small seat sleeper at fair oaks. At fairfax, they provide you with lots of extras and goodies for the new baby, at fair oaks they don't provide those extra perks. Also let's not forget the 24 hour cafeteria at Fairfax, fair oaks closes their cafeteria early. I'm not in any way trying to downgrade fair oaks hospital, there staff was also pleasant. I'm just saying- staying at Fairfax was no joke, meaning it was awesome.

The staff are so pleasant. My experience there was wonderful. They really make sure you feel 100% daily. I love them so much that I drove from Dumfries, VA to FFX Hospital to have my twins. They are dedicated to you and your family, including the kitchen staff to the cleaning staff. The NICU Unit is my top 10. My #1. Again, FFX HOSPITAL is the best!!!!

I had a miserable birthing experience at this hospital due in large part to inexperienced nurses. Because I chose the route of an unmedicated birth, I was pretty much just left alone with my husband in a room. I was at 10cm for 4 hours, and the nurse literally just stood next to me and kept retaping my IV in to my hand while I struggled. She made no attempt to have me change positions or check on position of the baby. Needless to say I would up with a C-section after 12 hours at 10cm. I really expected more from a hospital specializing in birth. The recovery process was fine. Food was decent, however I felt like I had been hit with a truck after the delivery from hell... anything would seem like paradise!

The women’s hospital is great. I delivered my first baby here and was a wonderful experience. Staff were very caring and attentive. The billing department on the other hand is just horrible. Rude staff and NEVER answer their phones. My husband and I have called numerous of times to make a payment for 2-3 months now and no one calls back. Then I received a collections notice this week but no one has even tried to contact me. I’ve called 3 times this morning and still couldn’t get ahold of someone. Pathetic.

Just gave birth there last week and I wish I could've stayed there longer! The services from the doctors, nurses, housekeeping, cooking staff was beyond amazing. I felt so pampered and taken care of. And the building is beautiful. Beyond 5 stars.
