I had to visit this ER when I landed on my ankle the wrong way and did some horrible damage. From start to finish I could not be happier with my experience. As my ankle grew to the size of a grapefruit everyone was efficient and timely. I was admitted within 5 minutes (not exaggerating) and was seen within 1 minute of that. X-rays within 15 mins and the wonderful news from Dr. Powell that my ankle was just badly sprained (not broken!!) within 1 hour. Both nurses and support staff and X-ray tech were informative and quick, also caring and careful. I was pretty worried I had broken my ankle and everyone was great putting me at ease. Thanks for what y’all do, but hopefully I won’t see you again. Jarrod Frakes

Brought my 21 month here today. I used Inova’s website to check ER wait times beforehand and they showed up as 0 minutes compared to the other Inova ERs with wait times significantly higher. We checked in at 8:15pm and were sent to the triage nurse right after. Immediately following we were in our room and waited less than 5 minutes to be seen by Doctor Reynolds... he came in before the nurse and was incredibly kind, compassionate and playful with my daughter doing his best to ease her anxiety. He was careful but efficient. Nurse Lyle had the same demeanor and went out of his way to comfort my daughter. They carefully and successfully placed 4 sutures in the inside of her bottom lip... not an easy task on a crying toddler. She was given Tylenol and an antibiotic and we were discharged exactly 1 hour later. Seriously I could not be more impressed. Thank you Dr. Reynold’s, nurse Lyle, and I think Steven (didn’t catch the EMT’s name) was the EMT. I’m grateful for all you do! Definitely recommend checking ER wait times before heading out if you’re able!

It was a very quiet day with very few patients and yet it took over an hour and multiple complaints from the doctor letting us know we were ready to be discharged to a nurse coming in...would not recommend this location...go to inova fairfax if you have a choice

Had the worse experience there with my fiancé on January 2016 & now Monday January 15, 2018. I highly don't recommend this ER!

My son was recently taken there for kidney stones. He was in a lot of pain and they quickly got him on pain meds and provided a CT scan to confirm what was going on. The nurse and Dr. worked well together to take care of my son and we were out of there in less than three hours. I’m very impressed with the new facilities and the staff there. It has changed considerably over the past year and a half.
