I was in the middle of "nowhere" in Vermont and I had to go to this emergency department. The entire staff (front desk, triage nurse, CT nurse, ICU nurse, doctor and so on!) was efficient and compassionate. I was in a lot of pain and they assessed me quickly and they were all very professional and calming. The hospital was also very clean!

Trash, extremely unprofessional and biased ruined what was supposes to be an amazing joyful time. Not happy do not recomend, bright side, food and kitchen staff were amazing and very down to earth and friendly

I had the opportunity to visit NCH ER three weeks ago after dislocating my left shoulder while skiing (very painful). I was greeted from the ambulance by a very caring, competent, and swift team of 3 nurses, an X-ray tech and ER Doc, Dr. Allison. This crew work very quickly and had my pain under management with-in minutes. Dr. Allison had her diagnosis spot on and reduced my dislocation and had me discharged in under an hour or so. Though a trip to an ER is never fun they did a fantastic job. Thank you all at NCH ER.

We were traveling and had to have some issues checked out here. The staff was absolutely fabulous. Efficient, cheerful, kind, and caring. Facilities are extremely clean. They worked very quickly to diagnose and treat a possibly life threatening condition. Praises!!

I almost died because of this place. Luckily they caught their mistake and performed emergency surgery. Oh, not to mention misdiagnosed me several times then charged up the ass for not even fixing the problem. A joke of an establishment!

Jacob and I just our baby c section and the doctors and nursing staff in the birthing center there were some of most amazing ladies that took care of our family and newborn daughter Mackenzi Earl Marcy for four night . You ladies are amazing. thank you so so much for everything..

Absolutely terrible. Visited for a lower back strain. I could barely even sit up for the doctor to check my breathing. Told me to take Advil and be on my way. He asked what i did for work and didn’t even offer me a work note. (I am a lineman for a cable company) Now I’m stuck with a $1000 bill, can’t work and no note to give to my employer. I called for a note and all I Get is the doctor I saw wasn’t in and they can’t give me a note unless i come back in and be admitted again...This is far from the care they advertise.

The people at this hospital are absolute heroic angels. They saved the life of my wife Dana on the night of January 2nd 2018 and into the 3rd. Not an ordinary life saving event. My wife collapsed within seconds of arriving in the emergency room. My wife had a fatal heart attack. The amazing people at North Country Hospital never gave up. They worked for 55 minutes with CPR and chest compressions before Dana’s heart beat again. Because of a freak unpredicted snow storm that night. It took several hours before the UVM Med Center crew could arrive by road to stabilize and transport Dana to Burlington. During this nearly 5 hour time period I witnessed the incredibly gifted lifesavers tirelessly work to save my wife from certain death. 5 times they had to restart Dana’s heart with shocks. A few hours later UVM surgeons cleared and reopened a major artery in Dana’s heart. The road ahead is going to have challenges and life changing adjustments. But if not for the angels at North Country Hospital. There would be no road ahead. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Every person I encountered there on this evening were professional compassionate and incredibly dedicated professionals with amazing abilities to remain calm under the most stressful circumstances. And they save lives! They all deserve 6 figures Immediately. The security dude too!
