Took my son to his regular physician and was told he had a cold. Less than 24 hours later we were in the ER with him having pneumonia. The doctors and nurses were so amazing. A couple of weeks later, I had a severe headache for several days, went to my regular physician (same one) and was given a prescription for ibuprofen (which I cannot take due to ulcer). Ended up in ER a few hours later only to find out that my sweet son had shared his pneumonia with me. We now have a new physician, but we are so grateful to staff at Davis Hospital Weber Campus for taking such good care of us both.

After my son passed out in the car we were near by and stopped in. I will give them props for getting him in quickly and making sure he wasn't dying. But with only a guess at what it was they told us to go home and follow up with a specialist for what they guessed it might be. He was still passing out and they released him. He stood up to go and passed out again. I caught him and had to yell for help to get a wheel chair. The nurse finally brought one in and seemed so surprised that he needed one. She then took off with him to take him to my car so fast I could hardly keep up. My husband then arrived and parked next to us. The nurse just dumped him there and took off before he was even in the car. By the time I got the car doors unlocked and was heading around the car to get my son in, the nurse was no where in sight and my son had passed out again and was slumped against the car. Luckaily my husband was able to jump out quickly to catch him before he fell. Next time I will just call an ambulance and have them take us to a real hospital. We then took our young son to Primary Children's and got the answers we needed. Side note: the ER doc at Davis guess diagnosis was way wrong and if we had followed his advise we would have needed to wait a couple of weeks to get him into a specialist only to find out that wasn't the problem. The doctors at Primary Children's didn't quit until they found the answers we needed. Thanks to them! I can understand if Davis doesn't have all the testing equipment needed to find the answers but don't just send someone home. Get them to the places they need to be that same day to get the help they need. And make sure you don't drop your patient off at their car to fall on the ground because they keep passing out!

If i could do 0 stars i would my 6 year old was having major breathing problems and a horrible cough and high fever i took him here and they were quick to get us back in a room then when the doctor came in he was such a jerk he looked at me and my husband with a dirty look he acted like he didnt even want to be there he did not do a detailed exam he listened to his heart and said his high fever wasnt high enough to be concered he looked in his ears and said he has a upper respitory virus and said to do nothing and to not give him cough medicine and sent us on our way he was very unprofessional he was not kind at all again he acted like he didnt even want to be there i want to file a complaint on this doctor because they act this way but have no problem billing my insurance thousands of dollars for 15 minutes i would not reccomend this place to anyone and i wont ever go back and i told all my family to not go there either

Horrible experience, I will never go to this ER again. The receptionist was great and very polite, however the nurse and doctor had awful people skills. Took my niece in after being so sick with fever and vomiting, she had not kept food or liquid down for over 24hours, my niece is 22 months. The doctor came in didn’t even say hi or introduce himself, he just listened to her chest and checked her ears, then said that her ears looked pretty red, so he gave us a antibiotic prescription and released us. He didn’t check for dehydration (which I am sure she had) or strep (again sure she had) when we asked nurse if he could please check her throat all that was said was “oh it won’t matter cause we are giving her an antibiotic anyway so it will help with all.” We tried to explain that we would like to know due to her being around family and other kids in daycare, we would like to warn them If it was something contagious. Again getting told no, that they gave us medicine to take care of it. So frustrating

great place, i was seen right away! no wait time, doctor came in to help super fast but the nurse seemed a little inexpierence, i wasnt very comfortable with her care.

Gave my wife an I v and gave her meds then kicked us out. Horrible experience. And a waste of time
