The smart action on the ER doctor’s and hospitalist’s parts saved my husband’s life. He had had a heart attack on June 15th while we were camping. They kept my husband overnight and by morning he had elevated enzymes. He was transferred to Baylor Hospital in Plano where they performed a cardio cath and discovered 3 blocked arteries and 2 were major. The LAD (aka widow maker) was 99% blocked and circumflex 100% blocked. The third artery they are watching. My husband is alive because of this sharp dr and staff. I wish I could remember their names. I will forever be grateful to this ER and Baylor Hospital in Plano.

Took my son for ear infection and he was in a lot of pain. They made us wait for about 1 hour, even though no one else was really there. They gave us a prescription, and sent us away, it was not until I told the nurse that my son was in a lot of pain and he needed a medicine that she brought something. The 3 minute visit was $1100 with insurance. Be aware they are charging hospital prices, this is not a quick care place. I don't think I will be back.

I wish I would have read my next door neighbors review (Kellie Bollinger) before I went. I gave them two stars because the staff was nice enough and did what I needed. I hurt my shoulder in a mountain bike accident and just needed an X-ray really to see if there was any obvious damage a regular X-ray could pick up. So for 1 X-ray , 1 shot of anti-inflammatory/pain med (non narcotic) and the Doctor telling me to follow up with an orthopedic, they charged my insurance $2300 and change. Really? I see a pattern here. I accept the fact that Emergency Care is a little more expensive than going to your primary care, but this fee is excessive by any stretch. So even though this is very close to me, I won't return.

I am In a lot of pain at I get here at 2:45pm and don’t get called back until 3:45pm. And than no one comes in the room until almost 4. Than they come in and do blood work and now still no one has been in the room again.. I have never had this experience at a hospital before!! Going to add more now... I am told to call back around 8-9 from the doctor and I call back at that time and than they tell me to call back around 10 I do so and they still say that my blood work results are still not in... I have never had the experience like I did at this place anywhere else I will never go back to that place again they are the worst place ever. And don’t know how to Communicate with each other. And for me they are not even worth the one star I gave them...

I have been an emergency room nurse for 35 years and this was the best ED I have ever seen! My husband went in with an incarcerated inguinal hernia. We were Immediately taken to a room. The tech and nurse came in for vitals and assessment. I don’t remember their names but they were very kind and professional. The ED physician, Dr. Gaidarski, came in within 5 minutes and was able to reduce the hernia. He also called the surgeon and arranged for my husband to be seen in 2 days! Emergency Medicine at its finest-I strongly recommend this facility!!

Joe Miller

I'm being treated as a drug seeker. I came in with abdominal pain and a headache. I was given NOTHING for pain.

Stacy Tuma

The wait was less than 5 minutes to go back to a room. Facility is very clean.

Casey Edwards

I wish I would have read the reviews before I went here. I was in pain & had severe swelling on the right side of my face so much so that it hurt to speak. I couldn't get into my dentist so I went here thinking I would just have a copay because they were in my network. The doctor was in my room for less than 2 minutes, told me I had gingivitis and prescribed me a mouthwash that was discontinued! (Went to my dentist, I do not have gingivitis) I was at the hospital for less than half an hour, received no help but instead a bill for $1,254.37. I would give negative stars if I could.

Baylor needs to hire better doctors to staff these ER clinics. I took my son to the Aubrey, TX Baylor ER (Previously Emerus) because he had eaten a wild mushroom at 3 PM in the afternoon. I didn't take my son until 1 AM when he started vomitting violently. Before, I left the house to head to the Baylor ER I called poison control and they advised me I definitely needed to take him. Poison control called ahead to the ER and gave them a list of tests to run on Kidney and Liver functions; however, when the doctor looked at my son she said he looks fine and there was no need to run the labs. I had to argue with her to get them to run the labs requested by poison control. When the labs came back she said that AST & ALT liver levels of 100+ was normal for a perfectly healthy 2 year old. They discharged him and told us he would be fine. I then took him to Children's Plano hospital ER with the labs from Baylor. When Children's re-ran the labs and compared them to the labs taken 2 hours earlier the ALT & AST levels were still increasing at a rapid pace. They immediately diagnosed him with Amanita phalloides (death cap) poisoning and immediately began a three day course of acetylcysteine to protect the liver and prevent permenant liver damage leading to death. Children's was in constant communication with the poison control center experts throughout this whole ordeal. Today my son is alive and healthy thanks to Children's medical. Baylor failed to diagnose properly even with labs, attempted to avoid running labs, failed to communicate or listen to the poison control center experts, and almost killed my son. I would think twice about using these new Baylor "branches" or event Baylor hospitals.

I understand that hospitals are monolithic entities that just process patients for money but that doesn't mean doctors should. I had a concussion and the doctor just blew it off. I have been here twice with two doctors and both acted like i was interfering with their Facebook or something. When the Nurse asks me a hundred questions and the doctor doesn't read them and asks me the same thing it's annoying. Ask the Nurse or read the notes. Don't get mad when I say that it's all in the notes. Now before you say that he is trying to get detailed information let me say that this is not what it was. So "What's wrong with you?" means you entered the room with zero knowledge. At least know something before you walk in with a pompous I know it all attitude. This place has an overall rating of 2.9 as I write this and they deserve it. It's not an e-care. It's an emergency room so the price is much higher. If I pay more then I expect more.

Patti Harrison

If there was such a thing as 0 stars I would give it that rating. I went to this ER due to hypertension and Cardiac Distress. I chose this facility because it was in my commercial insurance network. Due to my extreme cardiac needs I was taken back into the ER immediately. That is where I was assigned Dr. Alexander Gaidarski who IS NOT IN NETWORK. This facility has physicians that may or may not accept your insurance and they do not tell you who is in network and who isn’t. It should not be the patient’s responsibility to ask if the physician is in network when you are in an extreme EMERGENT situation! Do not go here unless you would like to ask everyone that comes in the room if they are in network. Not to mention this physician is rude, has no bedside manner and did not know how to treat my symptoms. He just wanted to keep doing testing so that he could charge more. So I received the response written below from supposedly Baylor and of course the web address doesn’t work. So don’t be fooled by thinking that the hospital cares about your expressed concerns or your review.

J Lin

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Let me preface this review my saying I'm married to an ER RN so we're well aware of how things are supposed to happen in an ER. I was the only patient in the ER on the morning I went in and it took an hour for the MD to get to me. The MD who was assigned to me was Dr. Alex Gaidarski. He was rude, inattentive, condescending, and slow. The reason I had to go to the ER was due to a ruptured cyst that was causing blood to fill my belly. This MD made me lay on my back even after I told him repeatedly that I was unable to do so because of the pain. I eventually gave in because I wanted to show him I was willing to attempt. In the few seconds I was on my back, he proceeded to push on my abdomen (which was filled with blood) and I proceeded to groan and sit back up. He said to me, "You need to learn to control yourself". Excuse me? If he was kicked in between the legs, could he control himself? The nurses and tech weren't much better. I saw my assigned nurse once and the rad tech who took me to get my CT was the one who started my IV. Why the nurse didn't do it is beyond me. As the rad tech was putting in my IV, she told me, "I've never used this type of needle before". What? So I was her guinea pig? Why would you tell a patient that? My wife had to guide her through on how to use it. She stuck the needle in and proceeded to wiggle it around. What a fantastic feeling. The rad tech then tried to get my wife to apply to work there so she could get the referral bonus. Seriously? The cherry on top was when they realized I needed to be transferred to a real hospital. They called 911 to get me an ambulance. Wow. Awful ER, even worse staff. Stay away.

My mother went here on Saturday night for complaints of chest pain and SOB she had been experiencing all day. I have never witnessed a doctor being so unprofessional and incompetent. First off when my mom got in the room he made a "joke" saying that the good news is that your not dead, the bad news is... you could be. She was there to rule out very serious issues like MI and PE that is life threatening. When he asked what medications my mother was on she said cholesterol and RLS medication, his response was "refresh my memory what RLS is?" seriously, any doctor in any field knows that RLS is restless leg syndrome. When he left the room, he left the door open, and could hear him talking to the nurses "That's a classic PE" and the nurses yelled "nailed it!" and they all started laughing. Not only were they talking about her with other patient doors open, but they were talking about other patients there as well. They were talking about a lady in the next room that had a UTI, the nurses question to him was, "are we just gonna let her go home with a UTI?" and the Doctor responded saying "I don't even know who you are talking about, what room, i don't even remember her, where am I supposed to go next?" The nurse then responded and said "come on get it together, I need to get back to my homework!" and the doctor told her "I am so done, I am spent for the day and I can't do anything else." They were dropping the F&%# bomb and laughing in conversation for at least 20 minutes while my mom just sat in the room with the door open. If they really thought my mother had a PE, don't you think they would have been a little quicker to get imaging done on her. My mother then told the doctor that she did not feel comfortable and that she wanted to leave. He did nothing. Then I went out to the desk after some time had passed and told the nurse, my mom wants to leave AMA (against medical advice), she had no idea, the doctor was just sitting in his corner on the computer. Very soon after he walked into the room and sat on the stool next to the bed and put his hands in his head, stumbling over his words saying "I have had a horrible day" and it was silent for a minute or so. I broke the silence saying my mother does not feel like she can be taken care of appropriately here and she wants to leave AMA. he asked why. I told him that I totally understand really really bad days, but you have to remain professional and somewhat competent for the rest of the patients or he should have gone home. During this whole conversation the doctor seemed to my whole family that he was under the influence of something, it could have just been fatigue, but it was very apparent. So much time had now been wasted, well over an hour, when the process could of at least been started to rule out MI and PE. They had not even discussed with her what the plan of care was while she was there. This was now shift change for the nurses. I felt bad for the nurse that was just coming on, because she was very nice and had no idea what had gone on. My mom eventually had to go to the desk and tell them if they want her to sign a AMA form then they better give it to her now because she was ready to go. We left there and drove to McKinney to MCM ER, they got us in immediately and within the first 10 minutes already had a EKG, labs and the doctor had told her what the plan of care was going to be while she was there. We were there for a little over 2 hours to wait for blood work and testing and then we left, thankfully no MI or PE to worry about. But thank the Lord there wasn't something really going on or something bad could have happened and I do not trust that the Baylor ER here could have helped her or known what to do. I am not saying this entire facility is horrible, but the doctor that was on when my mom came in was a zero star in my book. The entire visit was not professional and my mom has never felt so uncomfortable in a medical setting before. We will never go back to this facility.

I had a car accident and visited this ER on July 8, 2019. When I arrived the nurse seemed to be annoyed to be at work, showed no compassion, and was very short and rude. When the doctor entered the room he was not well groomed and had wrinkled scrubs and did not appear professional. The doctor asked what hurt and touched my shoulder and neck and kept asking what I thought was wrong like he was trying to get me to diagnose myself. At that point my family and I decided to leave to go to another ER due to lack of confidence in this ER staff. We were only at the ER about 10 minutes with no actual exam or diagnoses completed. When we decided to leave we politely told the intake person that I did not feel comfortable and was choosing to go to another ER. As I was walking out the ER doctor became confrontational with me in the hallway. I informed that I did not feel comfortable and was choosing to leave. The doctor did not seem to understand and became upset so i decided to leave. I recently received bills from this ER for over $800.00 for the visit that “never really happened”. I have attempted to contact the administrator of the hospital to discuss my bill and the concerns with the staff at the hospital, leaving two voicemails and email with no reply. It has been over two weeks and I have heard nothing back. I would highly recommend if you are needing to go to an ER not to choose this one. I went to another ER in Frisco and the experience with their staff was courteous, compassionate, and caring. Mrs Denson

I didnt want to give one star... I will never ever go back to this hospital again. Very rude and not helpful at all. I went in in severe pain and left out the same way. And all the nurse could tell me as im leaving out is Im sorry we did all we could do. Wow! You didnt do nothing but run up my bill..

Sarah Walter i experienced the same. I drove myself to the er after having a migraine for more than 10 hours (not knowing it was a migraine because I've never dealt with anything this painful to the point of vomiting) when i arrived the front desk was helpful and they got me back in good timing, i received a cocktail mix of iv's and a ct scan to make sure i didn't have a brain hemorrhage. The doctor maybe was in the room 5 mins to evaluate me (not taking my concerns seriously) . Long story short i left with a migraine still as i type this review and a bunch of money out of pocket. I don't believe my concerns were taken seriously and i am still in pain not to mention my arm being bruised where the iv was inserted. If you can wait to see your physician i recommend it. I wish i would've read the reviews before going to this facility

**Update** I must give credit where credit is due. Marie called me within hours and was able to assist with the ER portion on the bill and says she will contact the physicians company and talk to them on my behalf. I am truly appreciative for her help and I honestly felt like she cared. They billed my insurance $2600 to put glue on a cut! When I called to try to settle the bill, they flat out refused. This place will take you to the bank.....avoid at all costs.

When I couldn’t get a friend help with a possible blood clot at any area imaging places, I brought her here. Everyone was very courteous and professional and seemed very competent. The diagnosis of a blood clot was made, and my friend stayed over nite for observation and medications. Yes, they have five hospital beds here for patients. I highly recommend.

Erin LaRowe

Never and I mean never use this facility. I had to be hospitalized for observation over night after having severe chest pains. The doctor that saw me the next morning actually LAUGHED at me and told me I was fine. The diagnoses I received on my discharge paper work was, CHEST PAINS. Well duh! That's why I went in in the first place. The discharge paperwork itself did not include any radiology reports, just the lab work results and wasn't ever all mine. Half of it was for an older woman in Congestive Heart Failure. Why yes, I do still have that paperwork containing the woman's name, age, address, medical conditions etc. Ever hear of a HEPA violation? I was kept until 2 pm and only even offered breakfast which turned out to be a cold taco at 11 am. No towels or wash cloth to bathe and only a pitcher of water. Now I get my bill and they are charging me $1,000 for the room. Over $21,000 for the ECG (NEWS FLASH- An ECG machine can be purchased new for $1,000). I'm being charged for a pulmonary function test I never received. They are charging me $942.77 for the administration of 2 IV injections I received and $324.60 for the 1 nitroglycerin tablet, 3 aspirin (1 adult and 2 childrens) and 2 morphine injections, the two morphine injections they are charging me over $900 for actually giving me. Hello people, did it ever occur to you that I might actually work in the medical field and order these medications? At most, if you use only name brand medications, that totals no more than $60 of medication? If you are going to try and charge me that much money, you at the very least might have given me some sort of diagnosis. I have to give you at least 1 star to be able to post this review and I feel it is very important for people to know the kind of greedy, money hungry establishment you are but, in my opinion you deserve not only no stars, but to be shut down.

NOJ Thanks

I don't like when go in with pain, the doctors assume you're there for a drug habits. That is totally unfair if you're suffering stomach issues/ I hate this place, found I have diverticulitis, when I eat anything it causes pain. Don't go to this place unless you are dead, and then tell them no I won't Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tiffiny Smith

Wonderful... I had no idea it was a real hospital.

Eduardo Ibarra

My three year old son fractured his Clavicle and they had me waiting for more then 40 min in the waiting room! While he was crying/ screaming in pain ! I had to leave to a different ER because my son was falling asleep due to the pain. This is not right!

Marlena Smith

I love this er!!! They have the most kind and understanding staff. Never disappointed with their care. Perfect staff and perfect treatment!

Jerry Hunter

I am so glad I did not read these reviews first. I never go to the hospital or Desk. I have been in the medical field for 23 year and exposed to many emergency rooms on Rn's . So let me say without a doubt that every single staff member I ran across was 100% professional and compassionate. Even though every tech that waited on me I would give 5 stars. But Lora was a nurse I had for 2 of my 3 nights stay. She was fantastic! She went above and beyond to help, and to make sure I ate. Admin should really take notice . But not just with her but the entire staff. I am sure I am not the easiest patient to have since I have been in the medical field. I fought a bad case of pneumonia they found, Dx and treated. Thank you very much crew at Baylor!

Sharron Dowdle

This place is awful! Need an example? I told them I had a hysterectomy in 2010, they came in 45 min later and told me my pregnancy test was negative. Didn't hear a word I said the whole visit. If I could give zero stars I would. It's also great when you're the only patient and you can hear the nurses and Dr. Talking about you laughing. One nurse made a difference. Thanks Donna.

Sarah Walter

Yesterday i had a level 8 migraine and could barely talk and advocate for myself. I have previously been there before and have always been taken care of. I haven't been in almost 9 months and i regret going now. The front desk was great as usual and the guy who did my blood pressure was friendly and professional as always. Then the doctor came in, he introduced himself i think very abruptly as Tariq Malik, I was in so much pain i couldn't even do anything but nod my head yes or no. I usually get an iv migraine cocktail their when i go but he just said he was going to give me a shot of predisone and toradol? And said it would help with rebound. He never asked me any questions of what helps usually etc. So , long story short, 12 hours later, im still at a level 8 migraine, it never went away. I had to go to another hospital to get it taken care of and spend another 500$ copay. So basically baylor hospital was a waste of time thanks to the doctor on duty. Will never return there

Didn't even want to do a simple procedure. Wasted my money and time off work.

Yoli Arzate

I really wish that I could remember the Physician and the nurse that worked along with him, but I can't. So, I just wanted to say that they are so rude and care nothing about your well being, they are just ready to leave when their shift is over.

Rose Hubbard

I wish we would have driven a few extra miles to Legacy ER. The staff there understands TIME! My daughter was suffering from severe abdominal pain. We waited in the room over an hour for a doctor. While waiting for her, we were told by the nurses the doctor was new and slow. That was concerning to me. The staff don't have faith in the doctor. My daughter couldn't get any relief from pain until the doctor examined her. She laid trembling and sweating in pain. I let the nurse know my daughter needed to vomit. I was told there were bags on the wall. The nurses and doctors lack care, understanding, and sympathy. It felt like they were there just to get a paycheck. I will not be back. Take your loved ones to a place that cares and will provide great medical care. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR GREAT MEDICAL CARE.

Renita Thomas

OMG....Dr. Nichols!!! The best doctor in the world!! My daughter had an ingrow toenail that kept her up overnight due to the pain. Needless to say her dad and I were up overnight too!! This wasn't our first rodeo, the last time we had this issue, the attending physician told us to go home and soak the toe in warm water. Well let me tell you....not Dr. Nichols!!!! He was AMAZING, kind, caring, and very knowledgeable! He treated our daughter like she was his only patient and he took care of the problem! He even showed my hubby how to care for her nails going forward. (tear!) I wish there were more doctors like him....the world would be a better place!!!!!

Vanessa Bryant

Great staff and facility. I've had to use this facility about 4 times over the last few years. Every time has been great service.

AfroRican P

I was wary about coming here after the negative reviews, but the staff, nurses and doctor were wonderful. I'll definitely be back should another emergency arise.

Amanda Bettes

Went in with difficulty breathing, huge unexplained bruise on abdomen, fever, and elevated blood pressure. After 4.5 hours diagnosis was unknown fever and infection. Given antibiotics and sent home. Returned 14 hours later to get an excuse for work because I'm unable to get rid of my fever. Doctor on duty was extremely rude. Didnt listen to anything I said and wrote my excuse to return the following day even though fever is still there. Don't go here. Nurses and admittance staff are amazing. Doctors not so much. Rude and have no bedside manner.

Jesse S

Came here one night due to hearing loss and severe pain in my ear. The ONLY good thing I can say about this place is that I was in and out fast, but that's probably because I was their only patient and they didn't do a lot to treat me when I was there. The nurses here are extremely rude and I would probably not return for that reason alone. The nurse assigned to me was rude and condescending from the start. She asked me the same questions over and over and asked every question at least 2 times. Didn't write anything down and kept forgetting what I told her. Didn't seem to know the names of common medications. Despite the fact I was in extreme pain (and hence the reason I went to the ER at 1am), I was not given any treatment whatsoever until I was on my way out and the rude nurse gave me 2 tylenol. I told her I didn't want it and she demanded to know why and I reminded her that I already had taken that before coming in and it didn't help. The entire time I was there, all of the nurses and other staff were right outside my door having loud personal conversations, laughing, joking, watching tv on their phones (loudly), and sometimes stopping to publicly discuss my case. I heard them discussing the positive results of my lab tests with each other a long time before they revealed it to me directly. It would have been nice to get some rest while I was not being treated but I couldn't because the staff kept up an unnecessarily loud and unpleasant atmosphere like I was in the break-room of a Walmart.

Rick Foote

I thought this place was great. The staff went out of their way to provide caring service They were very helpful.

Crystal Conner

This hospital is horrible does not even address your concerns as a patient. The doctor is horrible

I was hesitant to go to the Baylor ER because of the negative reviews, however, my teenage son had a possible fracture so we didn't want to drive far. I am glad we decided to give Baylor a try. The staff was amazing! The nurse came immediately with a wheel chair and took my son back within minutes! I was expecting to wait at least an hour....from previous ER experiences I've had. The male nurse was super helpful and nice, the doctor was good, and the radiology tech was extremely sweet. Then the radiologist came in and she was the sweetest lady ever, and very informative. Everyone went far beyond normal duty to be helpful. (Thankfully his leg wasn't broken.) I rarely leave reviews, but felt I had to since there have been many negative reviews. I was expecting rude and incompetent staff, but was pleasantly surprised with the opposite experience. It was seriously one of the best ER experiences I've ever had. Not that I've gone to emergency rooms that often, but its a known fact that you usually wait forever in ER waiting rooms, and get rude treatment. Not so here.

Karl Morgan

I went to Batlor Emergency Center at Aubrey for stomach pains and found out that I had a reptured diverticulitus. I recevievd great care there, the doctors, nurses and staff were more than helpful and informative with their service and care. A very professional and caring group!

Dr. Mallick is the best. The front desk employee was very nice. Went right back after a few minutes. The nurse was also nice. Dr. Mallick came right in and was the nicest Doctor I have ever seen. Polite, understanding, great best side manner. He took the time to explain everything and why it was being done, then took the time to Listen! The whole team Saturday morning was great. Thank you for making us a priority in a difficult situation.

Leah C

Same as most had said. Horrible, extremely rude white lady ( dark short hair ) working there, Fricken expensive for just one service. After learning how much another ER would have charged ... Never again.

Becky Regalado

Brought my 3-year-old in with a 103.5 fever and severe ear pain. They told me nothing was wrong, his ears are clear, it's just a virus. I came back 4 DAYS LATER, after 5 days of 103+ fevers and ear pain, and again, they tell me his ears are clear, there's no fluid built up, no redness, it's just a virus. The next morning his eardrum bursts and there's green pus running out of his ear and down his neck! I have to call my pediatrician after hours and he gives him 3 antibiotics and steroids, was shocked to hear they told me there was no fluid buildup. My son was in pain for 5 days for no reason. He couldn't sleep, he couldn't eat, and he lost 3 pounds. Horrible. I will NEVER go here again!

Toni Murillo

Love the doctors and staff.

Rachel Mohat

Only been once but had to go in at 4am when my 5 year woke up having a hard time breathing. Everyone one was super friendly, super helpful especially the nurse who was so sweet to my son. The doctor listened to me, discussed what worked in the past and was very nice

Michelle Randall

Great experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Thankful they made a bad health situation much more bearable. Quick to take me back and kept me informed through the whole process.

Marie Compton

DO NOT waste your time going here... The staff is pure stupid... Took my son today and they told me he had no insurance OMG really I told them hmmmm I just got off phone with Aetna and they told me you were in network that's why I came here.. I was told it was my job to contact the insurance billing dept when I get bill... Ummm I work for an eye doctor and it's YOUR job if you agree to file insurance... I will tell everyone what a joke this place is... Oh and the drs are just as bad as the front desk girls..

If I could give a negative star that is what they would be getting. I arrived with my teenage son who was bitten by a dog and explained that we didn't know the dog or the owner. Not to one but 3 different people. I was even advised that due to the nature of the situation and not having information on the dog, they will have to report the bite to the sheriff's department. Doctor came in looked at the bite, I shared the same story with him and he gave him antibiotics and sent us home. Keep in mind this is my first time dealing with this so I didn't know what to expect. From the sherif I was assigned a detective who explained hat since there is no info on the dog she will need to inform Health Dept and I should expect their call which I received few hours later. During that call they told me that my son needs to receive rabies shots if he hasn't started with them already and I can get them in the ER. So naturally I called the ER my son was seen at just about 15 hours prior. Woman on the other line was very rude and in short told me "they don't do that" and "you need to call the health department to figure out where you can get it". So I did. Called his doctor, my doctor, Denton health department just to be advised that ER has to administer first round due to immune globulin that is not carried anywhere else but ER or a hospital. So I called again just to be treated with the same rude answers until I asked to speak with someone above her. New person answered the phone and she was explaining in condescending and patronizing tone that he didn't get bitten by a raccoon or a possum so he should be fine since it was someone's pet. After explaining to her that we don't have info on the dog she stuttered and fumbled around until I got so frustrated that I asked for the copay back as they clearly didn't take care of my son. We ended the conversation with me stating that I'll share my experience on social media and her saying "corporate will call you". In the afternoon doctor that attended to my son decided to call. I listened to him say that he didn't offer rabies shot as it was a family pet that bit my son. I became infuriated. This person who had my son's kid in his hand did not hear a word of what we said the night before and that was perfectly clear. Than he preceded to tell me that I can bring him to get his shot if I feel he needs it but he doesn't think he does. Wait.... health department thinks he needs it but you don't?!? I did ask that with all of the sass in my voice. He fumbled "oh health department.... well we can get the shot I just need to read up on the spacing of it and when following dosages need to be given".... no no no not only no but HELL NO. 1. I already had info that it is 4 shots on top of immune globulin spaced from zero to 3rd, 7th and 14th day. 2. You as a doctor don't know this information !?!?!?? 3. If I don't have an MD behind my name and you don't and I know more about the situation than you do I'm not entrusting the life of my child in your hands. Not all of the Baylor is this way. I had great experience with many of their doctors but horrible one on more than one occasion at this location. L So I took my child to Texas Health ER where we were seen by a very knowledgeable and attentive group of nurses, doctors and staff. He was administered the shots and we will be going back there for a shot 2-4. Never again will I put my family's health and wellbeing into the hands of these quacks.

I visited Baylor last night. I was very hesitant to go there after seeing some negative reviews. However I was very pleased with my visit. I signed in and before I sat down in the lobby, they were calling me back. I saw a nurse immediately and the Dr. immediately after the nurse. They were checking on me constantly and kept me very updated. Everyone was so kind, patient, caring, and genuinely concerned about me and my comfort level. I will be back for any emergent needs and think this hospital is significantly better than the choices in Denton. Don't let the other reviews sway you; this was a great experience and I'd recommend them to all my loved ones.

It would be 5 stars for DR VO, and the other staff! HOWEVER, i gave only 2 because that rude horrible X RAY TECH (old blondish haired lady) was so mean, rough and very rude when doing my xrays... SO unprofessional and made that a bad experience! She didn't even take my shirt off and I had to ask her for a metal garb to protect me from the rays... She then took me and SHOVED ME against the board, pulling me and pushing me HARD, (it hurt!) and a few times I wanted to slap her hateful face. I think BAYLOR seriously needs to hire a good tech, a nice person who cares, and most of all A PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN who is gentle and kind. I usually never review stuff but DR VO was so GREAT and the XRAY tech was so HORRID, and the two opposites made me want to inform eveyone of this... I hope you get a good tech soon cz she is sooo mean. Thanks for everyone else's kindness. This profile is not under my name, it's under my aunt's name.

I hate hospitals BUT this is by far the best hospital around.
