The staff was extremely professional and helpful. The doctor was awesome because since they were not able to accommodate my situation, he arranged for a transfer to another hospital. The transfer he set up was seamless. The hospital was already ready to receive me when I arrived. I really appreciate the doctor and all of the nurses that were so helpful. Great customer service and professionalism. This is how an emergency room should operate with the care focused on the patient and getting favorable result. I wish I could remember everyone's name that helped because I would definitely do a shout out. Great service should always be recognized. Great job staff !!!!

The compassion, concern and care for my daughter that we received here was great and unmatched by any other facility we have been to. Dr. Ami Shah and nurse Paola Munoz took their time listening to us and answering our questions. The doctor was very thorough and her bedside manners were great. Paola was very good at keeping us informed and checking on my daughter often. The CT machine was down and we had to wait for it to be repaired but, we were kept informed and as soon as it was up and running my daughter was in and out and the results came in very quickly.

I was here yesterday with my 3 year old fever vomiting stomach pain and sooooo.. Well nurse was rude she yelled at my daughter to get her weight .. Also checked her temp amd said it was 98 which was a lie my daughter was super hot and red (i took the thermometer and took it my self and she has 100.3) Then they did swap for flu and strep.. Not nice at all.. They also did chest xray (the lady that did that was so kind and sweet) Any how Doctor came in like 40mins later and said ny daughter has pneumonia... And just gave her amoxicillin!!!!!! I was like noooooooo this is not right at all.. I went to childrens hospital in fort worth My child had 101.1 they gave her motrin RIGHT AWAY I TOLD THEM ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE HERE AND DID XRAYS AND MY DAUGHTER HAS NOOOOOOO PNEUMONIA

Took my wife in about a month ago for what looked like a serious staph infection. Got in and out quickly, but honestly it was the worst experience of our lives. We saw a doctor for all of two minutes, who did nothing but look at her arm for 10 seconds. No tests were run, nothing was applied in the hospital to her infection, and a definitive diagnosis was never given. In fact, my wife was prescribed a medicine in which she was allergic to causing a rash to breakout all over her body. Today we received a call about a $1200 bill for her blood pressure and temperature to be taken and for 1 prescription. This is absolutely ridiculous! Don't waste your time or money going there. They are rude and completely incompetent!

The words EMERGENCY HOSPITAL should not be on this building. They have 0 specialists. This is an urgent care for non-emergency situations. Nurses were all great. Dr Habeeb was great as well. If you’re in a life threatening emergency don’t go here, you will get transported.

The service I was provided here was absolutely horrible. They seem to think it's ok to lose lab results not once but twice. So glad after 4 days of being in the place I was released to go home, even tho we still had no answers and Drs were not willing to answer any questions. I'm afraid to say if I would have stayed any longer I'm afraid I may not be here today. Do not go here.

I avoid Baylor like the plague now after dealing with this place. Took my daughter here after she fell on her arm and was experiencing pretty severe pain after the fall. She was given two xrays and a splint and a sling, took us probably 2-3 hours to get out of there which honestly didn't bother me too much. They charged me about $280 there which also didn't bother me too much. What bothered me was the bill that was mailed to me after for $2600. I called them and argued until they finally offered me a 40% discount to the tune of ~$1400.....for xray and a sling. She still needed to see an orthopedist to have a cast put on.... I chalk it up to a very expensive lesson learned -one I won't make again. Side note - 6 months later when the cast was removed, she fell again, and needed another xray. This time I took her to CareNow. They brought out a form telling me what the xrays would cost ($80/ea), and gave me a grand total of $210 - which I was able to agree to BEFORE the services were rendered.

The doctor didnt know what my rash/bug bite covering both arms was. Didnt give me Medicine, treatment or anything just charged me $180 to tell me he didnt know what I had.

This place was absolutely terrible. I am very with what I guess is bronchitis, because this doctor certainly doesn't know. The guy here on Sunday is a Doctor Crouler (sic?) and his bedside manner is absolutely horrendous. There are other hospitals in town and the next time I get sick on a Sunday, I will be going to one of those. He is very rude and acts like you're not being sincere about your symptoms. One of the worst doctors I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. I am one of the only patients here and yet they are still running incredibly slow. Go to Harris Methodist in Mansfield over this terrible place.

I had to take my Mom at this ER, over all service was good Paula and Candice two of the nurses on duty were awesome, very detailed, caring and professional. But the lady who did my moms CT scan (Sherron) was very rude, abrupt and unpleasant, not sure what is doing there; just nasty attitude!! It’s crazy how one bad person can ruin the entire experience and damage their company’s reputation. The visit took more than 5 hours cos they normally have only one doctor on duty. Best to pack some snacks water or juice etc before you come in.

I absolutely love this place. I take both my one year old and newborn here. I took my newborn to Cooks Urgent Care and explained to them what was wrong and they sent us him telling me he was fine. The next night I brought him to Baylor and they did an xray, and tested him for RSV. He tested positive. The nurses and doctors are always friendly and always do a complete scan of my boys. I will always bring my kids here and I highly recommend anyone.

2.9 rating should give ya'll a concern...I gave a 3 because I fall in between...I called to check on my balance and the protocol was ridiculous...3 different transfers and 20 minute wait with no response...and why do you prompt a 24 hr window to return a call...I've been to the lobby many times and the staff don't appear to be busy or overloaded.

This is the worst place. You have iv they blow it argue with you for 15 that it isn’t blown until you get someone else that sees its clearly blown, they stick you again, blow it instantly. The third time they do it and it hurts so bad that you can’t move your whole arm. Honestly should listen to their patients better if they want to make a effort to make patient care 100%

They did so much for my mom. We took her in and they all did everything they could from using Lidocaine to help with the pain of getting an IV put in. They kept us updated and were always glad to help, they never made you feel like you were bothering them. I really appreciate everything they did for us!

Went for elevated blood pressure at the Baylor Medical in Mansfield. The Dr was so NON CARING & RUDE!! He was not pleased with or willing to discuss my questions and concerns on a particular medication to help my situation. He had blood drawn and did not give me my results! Said he was going to write me a prescription and send me home!! THIS HE DID. HE SENT ME OUT OF THE ER WITH A READING of 173/109 !!!!! ***MY DISCHARGE PAPERS STATES: EMERGENCY MEDICAL CONDITION HAS BEEN STABILIZED. There was a FANTASTIC nurse by the name of Shawna that was comforting to me yet all authority is in the Dr's hands. HIS NAME IS JONATHAN WALKER MD. Always call to see if he's there on call, because if you have concerns about his treatment, he will send you away. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE CUSTOMER COMPLAINT LINE **Blood work was drawn, and no results were ever given to me! I called Medical Records and they have NO RESULTS of blood work or any information of any being DRAWN. I will do everything in my power they are not paid for this horrible experience and file my complaint to the highest degree!!

1 1/2 hour wait to get a flu test $350 upfront No big deal. Ins paid $1,300 and they billed an additional $285. Over $1,900 dollars for a flu test. I’ll post a pic of bill shortly.

Today, we experienced the most unprofessional and dangerous service at the hands of 2 employees that should never be in the health care field. Anna the nasty front desk person, showed no sense of urgency at an emergency room. She sat at desk while we begged to be seen. The nurse or lack there off Amanda, came in and instead of providing service that she swore to do as a nurse, she saw this man in pain and decided to call 911 instead. This facility and all those that work there are unprofessional and should be shut down and replaced with a new staff.

The worst experience of my life. My 3 month old came in with a fever we saw the doctor for around 2 mins they ran swabs and xray then we sat for two hours not knowing what was going on. Nobody checked on us this place was dead there was no reason for such rude staff. We were concerned parents and they did nothing. When I get my bill I will be disputing it because we walked out since they wouldn't treat my daughter or check on her fever while we were sitting or even update us. This place is a joke luckily we weren't having a serious emergency

I took my 5 year old to the Baylor Emergency Medical Center in Mansfield and was shocked to get a bill from both the doctor and medical center. Dr. Robert Bollinger spent about 3 minutes looking at the nurse's details and looking in my daughter's ear and sent us a bill for $345.07 on top of the $1096.80 bill from Baylor for "use of their facility" according to the answer I got when I called in about the bill. If you've got a real emergency, Methodist Mansfield seems to be equipped to handle anything and if you've got something where you just need to see a doctor, go to one of the smaller clinics around here. $1441.87 is more than excessive so they won't be seeing me or my family again. The doctor said he wasn't sure what the problem was but since her ear hurt, he prescribed an antibiotic and just assumed it was an ear infection.

I’ve been here on about 3 occasions with family members for kidney stones, migraines and a potential fracture. It is always clean, never crowded and we have been seen promptly. We are in and out, with treatment, before we would have been seen at the larger hospitals.

Such a terrible hospital. I had a doctor tell me I needed too eat and I am a naturally thin healthy woman. The nurse Breanna was rude and I will not be back. You get in and out fast because no one is there. Please save the grip and just go to Methodist.

I’m not sure about the emergency room but I had doctor appointment with Dr. Jeffrey urieto. But my experience was perfect I’m very happy I stopped going where I used to. I used to go to Texas health and I had worst experience with doctors and the department. Thank you DR. Jeffrey and Baylor Scott.

I was very happy with the less than 10 min. wait.I was immediately greeted by the Dr. Nathan Walker. I explained my chief of complaint and then he ordered a urine sample and blood work. I came in complaining of severe cramping in my abdomen area. Pain to the point that I couldn’t even walk earlier that day. The urine results came back very quickly and confirmed that I was pregnant. Dr. Walker came in and told me that he was sending me home after they ran my blood work. I asked if I would be checked to make sure that the baby is okay. He told me No, and that I needed to follow up with an OB. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I am complaining of unbearable cramps and he refused to get someone in there to check and make sure my baby was alright. I AM COMPLETELY DISGUSTED IN THE WAY I WAS TREATED AND REFUSED TREATMENT. They ordered a HCG Quantitative test that I was told by my nurse Shawna would be back in the AM. I would like to add as a side note that Shawna was a very sweet and compassionate Nurse. She really did a good job of calming me down and helping me understand what my next steps should be. The lab results were not in by the AM as promised and it is now Wednesday and THEY ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE. I was seen at Baylor on Friday. So it’s been over 5 days and still no results. I just called up there and was bounced around to 3 different people required to give the SAME INFO over and over again. ABSOUTELY WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEDN THIS FACILITY TO ANYONE. Not to mention the rude and very unprofessional front desk lady who got very snippy with me when I told her to bill me because I have been having problems with my insurance company and I want to make sure they got the right co-pay information. She was very rude and disrespectful. She turned her back to me and didn’t even say goodbye or have a nice day. She continued on her phone as if I wasn’t even standing there. She didn’t even push the button so the automated door would open to let me out. JUST deplorable behavior. I wish I remembered her name so I could report her but I do know that she was a Hispanic lady and she was working around 7:30pm when I came in on 09/07/2018.

We have visited Baylor on three occasions. We have always been impressed by the thoroughness and professionalism of the staff--from front desk to checkout. The care was excellent, and the referrals were necessary. Costs were not out of line with those expenses incurred at our family doctor. Great facility!
