If you are having a scheduled surgery, I highly recommend this hospital over Cookeville Regional Hospital. I had a hysterectomy here (January 2018) and a subsequent bladder sling surgery at Cookeville Regional (February 2019). Same doctor, different hospitals. The bedside manner and knowledgeability were outstanding at Livingston Regional Hospital and I was surprised at the difference in the stay. Highly recommend.

The staff and nurses are friendly and caring, however you need to check your billing carefully and ask questions ahead of time because often my charges were incorrect or they billed me for charges the insurance said I did not owe, or they had not contracted for, or "duplicate" and they will bill you for this. They do not have their own billing dept. Good luck getting anything resolved.

When I needed help for a family member we went through the LRH Emergency department. The staff was very welcoming and calm which helped make my family feel more comfortable. Later we admitted to inpatient and the one on one care and compassion was there again. The LRH staff didn't see my family as just another number like other hospitals. I would highly recommend LRH if you are in the area.

The doctor and staff took great care of my mother at Oakpoint. They are very professional and thorough in their approach. I recommend highly!

Would give it zero stars if I could.. I took my wife there she was running a fever of 101.1 doesn't even feel like moving.. they were rude from the start.. I'm not racist by any means but it was the black woman and she runs a few tests and says it's a viral infection and send us home with the fever.. also I took my 5 month old son there.. I told her the same black woman what was going on she listens to him and tells me and my wife that babys cry.. we take him the next morning to his doctor and he has the flu and a ear infection.. something should be done cause she clearly isn't as good as she thinks she is..

We have been to Livingston Regional Hospital for many different reasons, and usually the staff and health services are wonderful. I could not ask for a more caring staff and wonderful service. This time however we have a rude nurse, have been here for 3 hours and still no IV, medications, or even water to drink. I hope this nurse treats other patients better and with more respect than my mother and I are getting. This single rude nurse has ruined this entire stay for my family.

Livingston Regional Hospital is absolutely wonderful! My wife and family vacation in Alpine, TN each year. Both years one of us has had to make a trip to the hospital (dog bite one year and a preterm labor scare this year). Both times we were shocked by how friendly and considerate every staff member we encountered was. From the receptionist to the doctors. We prefer this hospital over our local hospital at home!

I went in after getting hit by a dump truck all they did was a ct scan on head and neck....i ve been in pain from the base of my neck all the way down my back ever since...my bp was normal on the way to hospital but when i arrived he went up real high..all they said is go see your regular dr tomorrow

The nurses there, especially the ER, are very caring and work hard to help you. The new Hospitalist is a very good doctor.

I was in for an outpatient procedure today. The nurses, anesthesiologist, surgeon did fantastic jobs. They listened, understood my concerns, and went through the procedure with no complications. Very kind and considerate. Thank you.
