Trident Medical Center’s staff goes out of their way to welcome patients and visitors. The hospital has many areas that have been recently renovated or in the process of being renovated which is a plus. If you can’t find what you are looking for, someone is always available to help you find your way. The free valet parking as well as the cafe on the 1st floor are great. The many volunteers are so friendly, helpful and warm.

I had surgery at the outpatient OR three weeks ago. As a former PACU/OR nurse, I must say it was a good experience from the time I walked I walked up to the receptionist until the postop nurse wheeled me out to the car. The entire staff was courteous and caring. I would definitely recommend Trident's outpatient OR.

I had a same-day procedure done, and couldn't have had better or more professional care. From my registration and check- in, and the whole Breast Care Center and MRI teams, everyone knew their stuff and explained each step. Thank you all for making a stressful day go smoothly.

Nancy Solt

I was treated by a highly qualified technologist , Susan. She answered all my questions and did not rush me to move into the needed position for accurate photography. Soft speaking and mannerly disposition made my 3-D mammogram an okay visit. A good repore throughout visit.

Maria Nesbit

I wasn’t very please with MUSC an my visit so I rescheduled with Trident an I must say they will be handling my mammograms from here on out!

I recently gave birth to my baby boy at this hospital and each nurse was amazing! I had to stay for a good amount of time & got to see each nurse changing shifts & I had the best experience. They were always nice & introduced them selves & always made sure to check up on me! The only thing that I could say was alittle off was the cafeteria times & we were suppose to receive a celebratory dinner, which we never did after being told we would. Overall the experience was so great during delivery and for my iugr baby that I still give my experience 5 starts!! ❤️

Nurse Danielle FROM ICU is friendly and she is one of the best nurses there along with an ER nurse Courtney. All questions were answer with patience. Both of them are very informative.

Dr HOWARD RICHTER First thank you for caring. to all the staff I thank you all and a special thanks to Tiashia Duggins always with a smile

Alberta Jones

I had a wonderful experience at trident hospital. The doctors and nurse took very good care of me.

Tiffany Cervenka

The ER is a nightmare! Brought my fiance in for chest pain. Hours waiting. Lady came out asking private medical questions in the waiting room. Moved rooms twice and back to the ER waiting room. Then placed in a curtain cubical where you hear doctors talking person medical information with other patients. Doctors and staff were nice, but doesnt make up for horrible hospital practices.

Ellie Hamill

I loved all of their volunteer opportunities they gave out at my school!

Lilia Correa

My husband was treated here after a heart attack. Dr. Chris Kennedy and the nurses were amazing, professional and appreciated their expertise and support.

Dana Young

So we were seen by triage and seated in the waiting area at the ER. My husband was having an extreme headache, which he never suffered before. So i moved him one seat over to a chair that was a little more comfortable and the triage nurse told us we needed to sit where she seated us. Excuse me?!! She actually talked to us like we were children. Stating "...well the seats are numbered and we need to stay in so they can finds us." My husband only moved from the right of me to the left of me. How could they possibly lose him one seat over?!! This will be my last time hear

Natalie Meredith

I cannot express enough Gratitude to this hospital. I was terrified about having to have a c section with my first born, but this hospital and the staff took great care of me and my baby. They helped me with some unexpected issues with breastfeeding and were understanding and caring about everything. I appreciated the celebratory meal that they had for us on our second night, it was so sweet

Faith Jones

my sister was here and then they wanted to test her stomach . so , they gave her a popsicle and some apple juice . i think that it’s very rude for the patient to get something while we starve to death and next time think about the patient and think about the other hungry acquaintances .

Babette Yannacey

Do not I repeat do not go there! Waiting over 16 hours in er for a bed fir fractured spine. Surgery was completed was sent home without a driver after days of morphine, valium toradol and fentynal with versade no driver! 5th floor nurses were loud and obnoxious! Go to roper or musc!

The experience that my cousin and I received here was not professional. On Saturday, I ended up bringing my 7 year old little cousin to this hospital (it was the closest) because he was having trouble breathing. When we first got there the customer service was very professional and she sent me and my cousin back immediately. But when we got to the back, I don't know what was going on but the customer service went out the window. My little cousin mom showed up. The lady who came to get her insurance info was unprofessional. As she was talking to my cousin mom about her insurance card, she repeatedly kept saying out loud that the card was a "medicaid card for the poverty" three times. A friend that was with us, went to speak to her about that and how she made my cousin mom felt uncomfortable. The lady then came back to apologize but as she apologizing, she mention to my cousin mom that "she knows how hard it is to be a single mom and don't have any help from anyone because her daughter is a single mom also." So it was like she came to apologize but not apologize because that part was also not necessary. Then the nurses that helped us when we were sent back was playful and unprofessional except one. She did what she was supposed to do and left. The other two didn't have their stethoscope to check my little cousin breathing. The guy said he left his in his locker and the female said she left hers in her bag. The guy then went to his locker to get his but the ER doctor had already showed up before he returned. They gave us some privacy by pulling the curtain close. So as we sat there waiting for the doctor to return, the same two nurses (guy and female) and another nurse was sitting a very small distance from us They weres talking loudly and cursing. At this point my cousin and I had enough. I asked for the doctor. She came and I explained how her nurses were acting and what was said word for word and that they were very unprofessional. We told her that we were leaving. She spoke to them but we did not wait around for any apologizes because at that point it was pointless.

Dan MacDonald

Pleased with the service I got. I will come back here again. ;D

Very caring and competent staff in labor and delivery at Trident. Lactation specialists and detailed care plans support the transition from mom to be to new mother. Very impressive.

Margie Lemacks

wonderful staff. Everyone was so nice. they called me the same day. I got my official letter in just a few days.

Tierra Nichole

I wouldn’t send my Dog yo trident!!!! I came in with a very high blood pressure reading and 6 hours later i still sat in the waiting area.... i explained i have seizures when it gets high like this and the lady at the desk said it was nothing she could do because they were busy!

LaTashia Jones

I've had all 3 of my children at TMC, as well as surgery and numerous visits at the Medical Arts building. I love the care and treatment that I receive with the Trident Medical System.

I was in too much pain to make it to a real hospital. I knew the reputation but I thought surely they can handle a kidney stone right? Nope. I have never had a kidney stone but I am an RN and I have seen enough patients with them to know that's likely what I had. I was in severe pain for over an hour and ended up in Trident ER. I arrived at 139PM. Before I was even scanned or had an IV placed, the accounting person was in my face asking for 400 dollars..as a copay..Which is NOT required by my insurance. So while the CNA is trying to get an IV, the nurse, Bree, is standing by with a syringe of toradol and zofran. That surprised me as that is an antiinflammatory for excrutiating pain. Well the cna had difficulty getting the iv so the nurse left with the pain med without a word. They then came for me and took me to CT for my scan. They were actually friendly and polite in that department.Got back to the holding curtained area at 245. Noone was around and I was doubled over by this point so I went to find the nurse. She was not around but my medication was, the same one she walked out with..sitting next to the vials on the med cart..unattended. I flagged down the cna who said she would tell her I needed my pain medication. At 255pm, Bree came back. I had tears streaming and she asked, very annoyed in voice, What was wrong with me. I told her I was in pain..and I wasn't sweet in my manner either at this point. She gave me the antiinflammatory. Well I was in that room another 45 minutes, in agony, without anyone even peeking their head in. When the PA (Absher) came in at 340 I told her all of this. She then confirmed that the CT did show a "very small" kidney stone. I said I dont understand why you gave me something I could have taken at home when I was in such pain. This made her mad obviously because she said..If you are an RN you would know that toradol is what is used for kidney stones. and she followed that with.."look it up". I'm not kidding. My husband and I just looked at each other in disbelief. She then said ill send someone in with something else for pain. At 350, another nurse, Leah, who was at least not rude, gave me morphine. That was the first relief I had. Over 2 hours later. There is a reason this hospital has such a poor reputation with the community they serve.. and they proved it to me today....

This was the worst medical experience ever! I tore my calf muscle and it took me almost 40 minutes to make through the front door because there was no valet on 2/3/19 at 3:30pm! I was passed by medical staff left and right during shift change and no one would assist or even try to make eye contact just in case I might ask for help! I was in excruciating pain and it was obvious every step of the way! Once I got to the front door a taxi cab driver got the guard at the front desk to bring me a chair and that was comforting but once I was wheeled all the way back to ER the staff nightmare began! They made me stupid for not knowing that there was another entrance and then transferred me to another wheel chair that I could not control, push only. I sat for the next 2 hours in extreme pain before I was taken to x-ray and then for and ultrasound to make sure there were no blood clots to be concerned with, about 6:30 I was given a muscle relaxer and never asked what current meds I was taking! I take blood pressure meds (2) and quentiapine and Ambien only to find out later they don’t interact well! A younger lady came in to take information on my health coverage with an IPAD for me to sign and I believe her name was Veronica but although she was nice enough the F bombs that came out of her mouth were very unprofessional! I felt like I had gone to a free clinic with all volunteers at that point, what kind of hospital is this????? I was told a teaching hospital but I pray to god they aren’t being taught all that! I tried to go to the ladies room after 4 hours and a really nice guy noticed I couldn’t walk and help me , he also sat another blue wheel chair outside the door for too but I couldn’t maneuver it myself . Once released I was told they didn’t want me driving myself home because of the flexeril they gave me and pushed me back out to the lobby in the blue chair with now a break on! After another 30 minutes I asked an intake nurse if someone could get me back to where I came in and she says I just got here and I cannot help you right now and walked away! So I managed with a full leg brace on and drugged to get up and use this chair as a walker to leave until an angel sent from god helped out to my car! She was not staff but a Good Samaritan that actually cared! I wouldn’t ever recommend this facility to anyone , especially loved ones and family! I live next to CSU but the next time I need an ER I will drive to Monck Corner.

danielle gordon

The service was fast, the staff was very professionel and friendly, will recommand Trident Medical Center

Jodell Jenkins

My husband came in from his doctor's office with abdominal pain, and Trident was so efficient and caring! The imaging department was so efficient at getting the CT scan and he was in the OR within an hour or two. Physicians, nurses and techs were so timely, helpful and caring!

stewart bauknight

The only reason for 4 stars is that the ER was so crowded I had to stay in the hallway. Everything else was great. Even the bedside manner of the on-call doc was super.

Carl Unverrich

Er staff was professional, slightly overwhelmed. Was told I was being admitted, and almost 4hours later I am still in a bed in the hallway of the ER. Total stay so far is approximately 5 1/2 hours in the hallway. So it is now just before 6pm and I am still in the hallway in the ER. I got here somewhere around 11:30 today, was told I’d be admitted at around 1pm. No one knows when I’ll be admitted, all I’m told is we don’t know we’re waiting for someone to tell us there is a room available. So I finally got in a room at 7:30 at night. Nurses are professional, but doctors are a rare sight. And if you’re in pain or can’t sleep prepare to suffer! Was given melatonin for sleep and had to wait until 4 am for a small dose of Ambian. What a joke. If you have a choice go to a different hospital. Also I’m still waiting for the results of a CAT scan done 9 hours ago.

I’m Reaching my One Year anniversary of my major motorcycle accident. Basically a 30% survival rate of a motorcycle accident to start. I had the Greatest Trauma Team and Staff, not only by emergency surgery but keeping me alive all those months passing. It’s a Big Thank You! There are so many words of appreciation and gratitude I have for you all. I have been Blessed by the Best!

Dan Kautzman

Everyone was great. Surgery went great and recovery was easy with no ill effects.thanks to the whole staff.

Nathan Swartz

Takes 4 hours just to wait another 2 hours for minimal effort from staff

Hunter Thibodeaux

waited on them in a room for 4-5 hours. Talked to 4 different nurses they all said they were gonna get a doctor never did.

James Eccleston

I was a patient in the emergency department and I cannot say enough about the great nursing care I received. From the second I walked in the door I was welcomed by some of the nicest nurses I have ever met. Thank you!

Kathy Togliatti

Every person that we interacted with at the Trident Ambulatory hospital was very kind, truly caring and extremely helpful!! Have been here on several occasions, always with the same experience!!

Joshua Dixon

I find it very sickening that your sister hospital in Summerville just violated the HIPPA law I will be contacting a attorney tomorrow.

william cloutier

Very pleased with the professional people who cared for me. Quick check in, quick ultra sound Thanks for everything

Worst time of my life! I have never been treated so poorly in my life! I was in trident a few months ago because of seizures. The first time I went to trident was okish. I got transported there by EMS because of a severe seizure. All they did was bloodwork and sent me home. The next day, I had another severe seizure that I wouldn't come out of so EMS was called and I was back in trident again. The doctor came in and told me there is no reason i should be seizing and that I was making it all up. My father then got on the phone with my mother, and I woke up in the ICU because of another seizure. I had no idea what was going on. I had another seizure and was intubated 2 times and on so many drugs that my family said i was literally laying there like a zombie. I got out of the medically induced coma seeing a doctor in my face and him yanking the tube out of my throat faster than ever. They then put me on more drugs because they didn't want to run anymore tests. They were starting to slowly kill me with all these drugs. And keep in mind that this was all in a span of 3 days. They refused to let me eat since i was admitted because they said i was fine. I got no fluids and no food. They knew i was hypoglycemic too!! But they still refused... We demanded i get moved to MUSC, but the neurologist refused to let me leave. We then were serioisly fighting for my life. After fighting with the neurologist that knew nothing and would rather I be drugged up than him figuring out what's going on, Trident finally called a transport team to move me to a different hospital. MUSC was the best experience ever!! They hooked me up to a 48 hour EEG and did a CT and an MRI. I was only on 2 medications and was only on one medication 3 days later when I was allowed to go home. And it turns out that I had epilepsy. If you had to pick between trident and a different hospital, I suggest go to a different one that'll actually take the time to run the tests instead of blaming a patient of making it all up. Tridents neurology team is completely clueless. You want good neurologists? Go to MUSC where they actually know what they're doing and treat you with the respect that you deserve!!! Trident is lucky I dont take them to court for drugging me up so bad and starving me.

There were 2 very nice ladies who gave me lots of infrmaiinfo

Shannon Emilyyy

My mom recently had surgery and she came home with bruises all over her arm. I asked her why they pricked her so much then she said they had students in the operating room with her and they were probably letting them draw blood from her. Today her arms hurt worse than where she had surgery. I would not recommend this place to anyone, they should have more experienced staff.

Moe Dog

The staff at Trident literally saved my life! I was brought in with chills and nausea, which doesn't seem life threatening, however, the staff quickly assessed that I was in severe sepsis and treated me accordingly. It easily could have been missed and turned into septic shock. Thank you for the care and attention that I received.

Tammy Sheriff

Everybody was friendly and extremely helpful.

Pamela Yonke

I normally do not have great experiences at Trident. However, this time, everyone was outstanding. Treated me with respect and dignity. From registration all the way to my CT scan. The gentlemen in CT seemed somewhat concerned. I really appreciate the way I was treated.

Traci Knies

My husband recently had a heart scare while I was 7 months pregnant. I immediately called 911 and he was brought to Trident Medical Center's Emergency Room. All of the employees, including the doctors, nurses, and patient care technicians, worked quickly to determine the problem. He was diagnosed in a timely manner and given proper instructions on what to do after he was discharged. My daughter and I are so thankful that Trident Medical Center took excellent care of our husband and father!

Jennifer Winston

Very professional, fast service at Trident Breast Center. With a busy work/family schedule I appreciated the service because the registration and insurance verification process was fast (but not in a pushy rushing type of way) and also efficient with signing documents on their electronic signature device. I was in and out of the office within 25 minutes from check in, waiting area, and the test I was scheduled for.

Eve Liles

I have experienced Trident Medical Center multiple times with my Mother being admitted . I have to praise the wonderful care she has received each and every time . From the 3rd floor cardiac unit to the excellent care on the 6th floor . Of course with Dr.Castellone , Dr. Kennedy and Dr. Sydney we could not ask for better Doctors. I have to express my upmost praise for the nurses . After all they are the lifeline between doctors and patients. I could name multiple Nurses and they know who they are but for this I would like to say from my Mother’s first visit I had an issue to deal with a deep hearted issue and was very emotional over it and Mrs. Jodi (Charge Nurse and my Angel on this floor) handled herself and others with the upmost professionalism and character of anyone I have ever seen. She of course took charge and dealt with my Mothers medical situation first but also made sure everything was handled with the dignity that my mother deserved . When my mother was transferred to another floor she made sure this situation was relayed over to other nurses and handled . I never once had to worry about that issue again . You just don’t forget things like that and I never will . Some nurses choose this profession for a paycheck but there are nurses that belong there because their heart and souls are in it . Well we have had many visits back to Trident since then with my Mother and again we always get the best care anyone could ask for . Blessings and Prayers to anyone who stays at a hospital and hope you get a “ Jodi” on your floor . Believe me they will always hold a special place in your heart . i

Rosa Iris Juarbe

The saved my granddaughter's life.

Janet Bender

All staff were friendly, caring and efficient. Waiting time was minimal. Received a results call early afternoon. No stress!

Keyanna Gregory

The two women who came to our school (cane bay high) Educated me on the medical program

Blanca Garza

I truly believe that if my sister had went to another hospital she would be alive today, unfortunately she passed away Sunday due to pneumonia Time was wasted while fluid just sat there in her lungs , not only that they almost suffocated her while she was in the CT MACHINE -Wouldnt bring my dead dad here

Ally Tyler

This hospital is terrible. Every single department I’ve had experience with is awful. There is the occasional nice employee but most of them don’t care about their patients and it takes hours and hours for anything to get done. The second you poke your head out the door to see what’s going on and you acknowledge that they haven’t been to you for 45 minutes, they act like they're super busy when you can clearly see they aren't doing anything. If you try to ask anyone what’s going in, even your own nurse, they say they don’t know anything or no doctor told them what to do. If you try to even think that you’re being mistreated, they quickly cop an attitude and say they must “prioritize” better so they don’t have time for you. The longer drive to go to MUSC is worth it. I’m not one to write bad reviews ever, but I can’t stand it with this place anymore and I don’t want anyone to go through what my family and I have gone through.

Lisa Bloodworth

Always a great experience, everyone is always very nice and professional.

Nancy Thomas

Professional efficient and overall great care.

Sharon Cooper

Ever had surgery and been dropped on your incision site the day after, by hospital staff who are supposed to be taking care of you? If you dont want to be, DO NOT COME HERE. Even if it's a life threatening emergency, make sure an ambulance takes you ANYWHERE but here. The only thing that makes Trident a trauma center is how traumatic the experience of being here is.

Jay Cooper

I need to mention Emily the ER nurse that treated me, she was so extremely professional and kind, I wish all nurses were like her.

Lynden Pelbath

Came into the ER this last weekend with facial droop and pain. I was miserable and scared. It was very busy and all of the providers had their hands full. I was seen by Ethan Mauldin (PA)who went above and beyond in his care and compassion. Dr. Brown was also involved in my care. At shift change Amanda Nicholes(PA) took over and the team gave perfect hand off that allowed me to avoid having to explain what was going on multiple times. My pain was acknowledged and addressed in a prompt but responsible way and I was treated like a person and not a metric or a statistic the entire time I was there. I am extremely grateful to the entire Trident team for the care and compassion shown to me during one of the worst days I have experienced.

Keena Thomas

My family had the worse experience at this hospital...there were a few good nurses but overall the already stressful situation was magnified by the lack of urgency from the staff to gather all the information needed for proper treatment. Even after being informed of critical information...they did NOTHING with it and let the patient suffer needlessly. If u are in this area and need care...find another hospital!

Mary Jo Martin

Everything went well and there were no problems!!!

Tom Creel

We drove 26 miles to get to the ER with this horrible UTI (upper respiratory infection. ) Can't breath with all the coughing and throwing up because of the large amount of mucous . Got into a room and they didn't do any blood .work. Once the registrar took my info that I didn't have insurance they only came back to give me a script for ONE Tylenol tab. No this isn't a joke. I would have posted a pic of it if I could. That is so mean spirited and heartless of them to treat me this way. I have had this for 3 weeks and only getting worse. My mother was seen also and was treated poorly. So if you think you will get equal healthcare if you don't have insurance YOUR wrong. I suggest that ppl refuse to give them their financial info until after they complete the care. Then and only then we we all get the care we need equally. I will be posting the prescription a picture of it. When I download land post the link. Mind you Him highly sick. And not getting better. Mean unethical Drs that wrote for ONE Tab of Tylenol.

Nicole

I had a health scare I needed to get checked out a while back. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and kind. The ultrasound tech went above and beyond. After the doctor left the room, she could tell I still had questions. She sat with me and calmed my fears by explaining my diagnosis again in a way I better understood. It meant the world to me that she took an extra time to do that for me.

Carol Whiting

The best diagnostic experiences I’ve ever had! Blood work, X-rays, and an MRI have had me at Trident Medical Center 3 times this year. They were extremely efficient and the results were quickly returned to my doctor. I appreciated being able to return to work quickly, too, after each of my tests. On top of that, their patient portal was amazing. I could actually read the results of my blood tests the afternoon of my visit! Highly recommend for anyone who hates to wait and appreciates professional medical care.

Diane Beresky

The employees were courteous and professional looking. During my bone density scan and mammogram the technicians were friendly and helpful. The only negative thing was when I got there, I was handed a form asking me if I wanted a 3D mammogram. I asked if my insurance company paid for it. Both check in staff member said they didn’t know, but I could call my insurance company. After being on hold for 20 minutes, I found out it IS covered. My only suggestion is to tell patients during the “reminder call” 1-2 days prior to the scheduled appointment. That way, there is no question of whether or not it is or is not covered as well as eliminating patient frustration. If I was explained of a new option/choice then, I would of called my insurance company prior to arriving for my appointment. Thank you.

Kelli Hartley

They have a very interesting program and past experiences with them have been well.

ED STANK

Successful surgery and an excellent staff.

Robin Erickson

Very friendly. Got in quickly. They have a great system, very kind, very helpful. Had a call back in a few hours with my results.

Justine Sheets

100% professional, friendly, and comfortable.

Dayna Dunmore

A representative from Trident Medical Center came to our school and explained their very exciting programs!

Lisa Wilkins

Trident Cancer Center is the most caring facility I’ve ever been to. They always treat you with care, respect and like family! I respect each and everyone of these caring souls! They are my life line!

Sherlle Humphrey

ONLY GAVE 1 STAR BC I HAD NO CHOICE . I would never ever visit this hospital again ! The service was awful and the tech Brittany P was very rude and disrespectful . Very insensitive to my family needs ! This was by far the worst experience I've had to deal with in a professional setting . Please do not take your love ones to this hospital as they do not care about you or them . !

MrMunsters1313

Their billing was screwed up from 12/2017. Checked with my insurance and they never received a bill from Trident even after endless calls to Trident and my insurance trying to straighten it out. DISGRACE!!!! Sent 2 companies after me and Trident admitted they WERE WRONG!!! After all MY hard work, the insurance claim went through. Trident even had the wrong DOB for the insurance claim. DON'T PAY THEM if you are right. Their billing is screwed up.

Makayla Daka

This is the best hospital. I would 100% recommended coming this hospital. We always come here it’s closer to home for us and also My dad recently just had his surgery here. :)

Mark Meyers

Friendly and love people Ms.Traci knies and Ms.Caitlyn bobo helped me so much, Definitely recommend.

bruiser

Prompt, efficient, and professional from intake, to receipt of services, to discharge. And Chris made the procedure almost fun but personal.

Mary-Louise Wolfe

The only reason I gave one star is because it would not let me rate without it. Yesterday I was so sick I had to call a ambulance to take me to ER... this was the closest to me and they had to get me there fast bc if my vitals. This was the 3rd time I had to go there. 3 years ago I was given medication that I told them I was allergic to and had to be given another dose of something to get it out of my system in the same night... after I went home and was taken back bc my whole body seized up and my face and lips were swollen ... last year another overdose and I called the VP. I got nothing but I apologize for the inconvenience. Yesterday was the last straw ... the nurse Sara seemed like she didn’t want to be there or help me. The Dr acted like I was the reason he hated his job. I got stuck 6 times for a IV. The nurse sat the items on top of me instead of a tray. Instead of people knocking ... half dressed I had people coming in and out of my room without knocking or introducing themselves... the incision they had to do was not dressed correctly and after it was done the lady snatched my IV out of my arm. I didn’t realize until later that they had blown 3 veins, after I took the wrap off ... I have pictures of what my arm looks like after the trauma I experienced there. ... my nurse was just sitting at the desk and without them checking me out ... I checked myself out and walked past everyone just staring at me. I feel like I have to go to a different dr this week... they didn’t come check on me for hours ... Y’all stay away from this hospital and I will be talking to someone about this. I pay a lot for insurance and healthcare... this is not healthcare this is a nightmare ward ... I’m posting this so if something happens to me bc of my treatment this is proof of where it started... I felt horrible, I still feel horribly and now I’m livid bc of this treatment... and my sister-in-law was with me. They don’t care.

Renee Lenz

As usual, Trident Breast Center was spot on for my appointment the other day. Friendly, professional, prompt care offered by staff that genuinely seems interested in offering the best service ever to an individual, not just there for a job.

Haley Bruce

Horrible I wouldn’t send a dog there more questions on how I intended on paying than how I was doing been sick for a month and they only addressed the symptoms not the illness no antibiotics just bs save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else and their high rating is because people that work and own the place write fake reviews as soon as a bad one hits just to keep their rating up they are disgraceful and should be ashamed of themselves

Sybil McLaurin

Wonderful staff‼️

Main Tain

Terrible.... once i told them what i was there for they began to talk amongst themselves making sky nasty comments. I felt embarrassed and ashamed. I will never visit that h hospial again... the ones I encountered were very rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

When I was admitted to the hospital the attending staff was great and they deserve 5 stars but the emergency department was awful. There was minimal empathy at best and having to sit in a hallway as opposed to a room or even a triage room with a somewhat better seating arrangement for about 4 hours was not great when writhing in pain. After waiting to even be seen by a doctor and they determined what was wrong the surgeon who came to see me was the only one who made me feel like they cared and I was a patient.

Jodi Nobles

I was a patient for outpatient surgery yesterday. Normally I wouldn't choose Trident, but as a patient of Dr. Martin, it was my only option. My experience was nothing short of amazing. The nursing staff was compassionate, attentive, caring, and friendly from checkin to discharge. In the ambulatory center I'm especially thankful for Wendy, Grace, Janelle, & Chaz. You guys rock at your at your jobs!! Thank you for the wonderful care. Of course, Dr. Martin was amazing as always. This would have been 5 stars if the restrooms at checkin would have been clean as well as the room before surgery. I understand I was there at 6am, but it's really important. Housekeeping could use some help.

Sandy Squibb

Can't say enough about the great team we have at our Trident Breast care center. The staff are always courteous and make you feel at ease. Dr. Rosenthal is the best.

Robin Snellgrove

The facility is very nice. The receptionist and registrar at the breast care center were incredibly kind. The imaging specialist was top notch. The only negative was the 30 minute wait. I'll definitely go there for my mammogram in the future.

Kathy Stewart

Everything went very well with my appointment, I was seen right away and was back home in a short amount of time. Everyone was very courteous.

Queen. asii

Traci and Caitlyn THEY ARE SOOOOO NICE

Lori Lindfors

I spent three hours and nine minutes here before checking myself out. I went to the hospital because I passed out and hit my head on a dresser and was unconscious for more than five minutes. After waiting forever we left and went to urgent care who absolutely could not believe that due to the contusion on my head they did not rush me to CT. Urgent Care called the hospital gave me a STAT CT with a call back to their doctor to make sure I’m not bleeding on my brain. THANK YOU TRIDENT MEDICAL FOR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED.

Brittaney W

No help at all to make me feel better. They put me in a space where there are other people around only thing separating us is a curtain so they can hear everything that's going on with me. All they did was blood work and urine and came back and told me everything was fine and sent me on my way. They just told me to go to my primary care. I will never in my life go back just a waste of time and a big bill to pay.

My mother was admitted to Trident Medical Center through the ER and I have to say the quality of care she received there was amazing. She had to be placed in ICU where she needed constant care. The nurses were so kind and caring towards her...starting with a nurse named Ian who was extremely patient in answering all our questions and handling our concerns. Due to Mom's medical history, age, and the nature of her illness, after a week and a half she was placed under the care of the " Comfort Care" Team per our request. They were exceptionally compassionate and understanding during this difficult time for our family. The lines of communication between the family and Drs were always open for us. We appreciated the care Mom was given from beginning to end. Her nurse Ed was exceptional during her final hours and in keeping us informed of every step. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Trident who took care of our Mother Anna Dunford.

Gwen Hill

Not even one star. Worst hospital I ever been to. The staff is rude and completely lack compassion. I asked for a patient representative to please help and they won't unless "your medical team" requests it for which by the way they won't, some team huh?. So there's no one who will advocate or help because no one cares. Absolutely disgusting and disturbing.

Melody Salvo

This visit was for my husband's surgery. The ladies who prepared him for this procedure couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and were very efficient. Great people overall.

Eric Heigl

The visit was well and went as planned.

Gina Garrard

Trident Hospital's Cardiac Care is fabulous. The nursing staff was compassionate and clear. The Emergency room staff was over the top fabulous. My cardiologist, Dr Jason Coker is the absolute best. Thank you all for the wonderful care and follow I received.

Susanne Lemke

Two major problems with Trident Hospital are 1) lack of continuity of patient care and 2) zero communication skills from the staff. My sister in law has been in Trident for 22 days now because of diabetic coma. We are my sister in law's caregivers and have POA. Because of the Hospitalist system at Trident, my sister in law has a new nurse and new doctor practically every day. No matter who we ask for information and updates (doctor or nurse) we almost always get the same response " I'm sorry, this is my first day with her." We will make specific requests for something regarding her care, days pass with no action, no information, so we start over again and again. It is very frustrating.

All staff was excellent and courteous. I was kept current on my condition.

Darlene Liller

I was at Trident for a cardiac ablation and the staff could not have been better! Everyone from the check-in nurse to all my attending nurses were pleasant and compassionate. The only issue I had was a lack of communication prior to my arrival. I was told to be at the hospital by 9AM when I arrived (a 2 -1/2 hour drive for me) they said I was 3 hours early. It made for a very long day.

Deb Campeau

I have been getting my mammograms at Tridents Breast Care Center for some years, and its a better experience each time. Always greeted by smiling registration staff, rapid sign in, attractive spa-like dressing area (with coffee / tea service!). Clinical staff keep up a continuous discussion about what comes next, putting me at ease, and resulting in a timely and professional procedure. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Vickie Cummings

Thank you Trident Medical Center for the great care! The Medical Imaging department treated me with respect and really cared for me as a person. Your dedication and passion did not go unnoticed. Best Care Ever!

Lynn

My mother has had 2 surgeries this past year at Trident Medical Center. One was elective, the most recent through emergency. She received the best care. All of her children live out of state, and the ER was wonderful at communicating with us until we were able to get to her. Dr. Richter was amazing, and the team of nurses on the orthopedic floor was incredible. We would highly recommend Trident Medical Center of North Charleston.

Elizabeth Demerest

This is my choice of place for my mammograms. From start to finish everyone is friendly, courteous and professional. The atmosphere is comfortable; the wait short.

Maxie Smith

Ma Bobo and Knies were AWESOME!!!!

Mary Woodward

Very efficient and knowledgeable. Didn’t have to wait long

Robert Doty

Very friendly, professional staff clearly focused on providing the best patient experience in healthcare. Very impressed with administration's dedication to staff and quality control.

Casey Guglielmi

I had a very negative experience in the ER. I was in a car accident on the way home from Savannah on New Years Day. My clothes had been cut off and I was freezing and shivering. No one brought me extra blankets or a socks til my sister finally spoke up for me, after my xrays and CAT scan had been done. Dr. Dutton was the physician who treated me and he had no bedside manner or compassion whatsoever. While preparing to staple the laceration on my scalp closed, he discussed with the nurse whether or not he should shave my head, as if I was not even there. Thankfully the nurse said it wasn’t necessary. That was extremely traumatizing, and makes me shudder to think about even today. The person who handled insurance billing was also extremely rude and insensitive, telling me I should expect to pay “$5000 even with insurance” as I lay bleeding and concussed on the gurney. She was annoyed that I didn’t have my insurance card with me, even though all of my belongings had been left in my totaled car due to the fact that I was unconscious when taken out of it. Once I was taken upstairs to inpatient my experience improved. The nurses there were very caring and attentive. Dr. Dutton came to do the discharge exam the next day and was still VERY rude, despite the fact that he was charging me a $1000 for the 3 minutes he was in my room. He scoffed and told me that my neck brace was on wrong, as if I was the one who put it on the begin with. He then proceeded to tell me that I could go back to work the next day, despite my concussion, 11 staples, fractured vertebrae and general soreness of my entire body. Thankfully the nurse (the true heroes!) wrote me a note for work stating that I needed 4 days to recover. My only hope is that someone will read this and avoid being placed under the care of Dr. Dutton. While I was physically pained that night in the hospital, I am now pained to pay exorbitant amounts of money to someone who gave me mediocre, unfeeling care.

Teresa DeWitt Dullaghan

The care that I received from the Trident Medical Center was wonderful in Charleston, SC. At a time when one is frightened and scared, the radiology team did everything they could to make me feel safe and secure. The physicians are also very caring and kind and use state of the art equipent. I would definitely recommend this facility to my friends and family. Dr. Back, Trident Health physician is my doctor and my husband’s doctor who genuinely cares and provides knowledge that is above and beyond for the diabetic patient.

Izabella Washington

My brothers grandpa was in the hospital here and got great service!!!

L Howell

It's a great facility, I think they over booked on my appointment.

Ozra Sims

It really depends what floor you are on. The 3rd floor nurses and tech were great. Hats off to Ms. Rose and Tony. Fifth floor not so good. My mother had a stroke was in a private room and could not call for help. I rang the bell and the nurse at the desk asked how can I help you. My mother was crying in pain. I asked for her nurse. It was 2:30pm. I was asked what was the problem to which I replied " I don't know what is wrong she needs help" to which the person in the background mocked me and didn't turn the speaker off. To which I told her I could hear her. A nurse came but not her nurse. I asked how was my mother to answer if she could not ring the buzzer or speak. I was told that someone comes every hour. Not so. We call 3 times for her nurse. She came at 5:30 PM. Still my mother had water in her lungs. It wasnt until shift changed that something was done. Thanks to the next nurse at 10PM she was put on a bpap. 4 days later she was sent to ICU. At 4AM I was called by a doctor. In between his ahs and an. He asked do you have any questions. Too what you didn't say not one complete sentence. 2 days later she was gone. Nov. 9. It was not until Nov 20 before the death certificate was signed despite the funeral home calling. No need to ask me to call the public relations office. She is no longer here. So my advice to others is wherever your love is please keep constant check on them. It has been a month I wrote this review. I have been contacted 2 times by email from the hospital about what I experience there. They asked me to call them. I emailed my number and said you can call me. I have yet to hear from them. Guess they really didn't want to hear the truth.

Susan Donofrio

I had an overall great experience haere. Everyone was friendly and the whole process went very smoothly. I will return again and recommend to others.

J'ylen Johnson

They are very helpful when it comes to patients

Elizabeth Rhodes

Pharmacy did not carry two of my regular medications. The overnight observation room I was in had NO RUNNING WATER or a bathroom.

Elke Maria

Had my mammogram done at Trident and received excellent service. The facility is clean and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I scheduled my appointment prior to the visit and on the day of the visit, there was no waiting time. The whole operation works like a well oiled machine. I appreciate the courtesy of Trident valuing my time just like I valued their’s when I showed up for my appointment on time. I received my test results the same day and a follow up letter a few days later. Keep up the great work

Mike Gingras

I experienced wonderful cardiac care at Trident Medical Center last week. Starting with the time of my arrival, the concierge check-in took less than 7 minutes from my time in the door to on my way for my test. Sandra was gracious and get me informed as I had my ultrasound performed. She was patient and answered my questions throughout. Definitely an outstanding and safe experience. Will be back soon for my next test.

Maikia Ware

Came to Cane Bay High School and taught us so much about their program and all their volunteer opportunities

Allison Deason

Ive been here once before for myself and had a horrible expierence. They didnt wait for me to completely numb while having a procedure in the ER. Currently in the ER with my mother and she has been sitting in an ER room for over 14 hours with a bowel obstruction. Have told her they are admitting her 12 hours ago now. They have had a surgeon talk to her and say that surgery is likely but they are going to do an dye test first to see if there is anything they can do without surgery (that was 10 hours ago).. in the time since described events they have done nothing but pump her with drugs. Do yourself a favor and if you absolutely have to go to a trident hospital go to summerville medical center! They are way more helpful and nurses are friendlier. Or better yet... just go to MUSC or Roper!

Uno

I liked how patient they were

Joshua Boggs

A very bad hospital. They will tie you down, and put you to sleep if you even talk to much. They have tied me down twice in this hospital, I had to pee and eat food while restrained to the hospital bed. I was tied down for seven hours. Injected multiple times with sedatives until I was bleeding, and was forced to have my blood drawn against my will. The nurses, and security are very mean and rude. They will do anything the want to you even if you cry for help. This is a very bad place to be. Dont have this review deleted like you did the other one, because I am telling the truth, and I will keep posting the same review over and over if I have to. You people did wrong to me. I even watched the nurses and security tie down a child who was about 7 years old. That is pathetic.

hailey mckenna

If you need surgery go anywhere else. It's hard to heal when you cant sleep. Between patients screaming for nurses who ignore the call like and nurses yelling from one end of the hall every 5 minutes. There ate many many signs posted about remaining quiet so people sould rest. I haven't slept yet today or yesterday. Currently listening to a SCREAMING baby visiting in the next room. Communication has been minimal from nurse to nurse. Didnt even have the right surgery written down that I had. Had to tell them over and over again it wasnt right. I will say I did get to have a one on one with my doctor every day so that was nice. I also had a nurse who other nurses told me I should report she was so bad. Hours at a time they couldn't find her. She would walk in my room press the button saying she'd been in a leave for another hour. All while I was pressing the button for her for pain and help using the bathroom since I had had surgery 2 days before. She never once helped me use the bathroom it was also someone else's nurse. Over all it's been a pretty questionable experience

TheBlackRose

They did great for my mom when she was in there

sandy murray

Very convenient appt went smoothly and quickly staff all friendly and knowledgeable

Paul Tremblay

Pre-billed $1,200 for petscan, then petscan was permanently cancelled by doctor and I can't get my money back. Have made numerous phone calls and I just get transferred from one person to another and no one calls back, so unprofessional!

Dee C

I've been going to Trident Breast Care Center for many years and it is the best place to go for a mammogram. The staff is outstanding. Everyone is hospitable, caring and knowledgeable. They keep very close to scheduled times and get you through quickly. I can't think of anything negative to say.

Ellen H Tischbin

As always, welcoming, efficient and quick feedback of test results.

Tammy Daniels

It was a great quick visit. Everybody was really nice.

Grace Picicci

The staff at the Breast Care Center are very professional and knowledgeable. There is no wait time to be seen at your appointment time. They are always on schedule. I have never had a bad experience at the Breast Care Center. It has always been an excellent experience all around.

Mary Jo Banco

My sister was admitted with pneumonia on a Monday Night. Her bedding was not cleaned again until Thursday even though she had soiled herself.. She was weak enough to require assistance with ADL's and yet no one assisted her. Not to the bathroom, not to set her up for am care, Her 02 sat. hovered around 85 % and she was confused. Terrible nursing care, and I know because I am a retired nurse.

Joshua Crawford

If I could give zero stars I would. Nurses have a who cares attitude and the doctors are virtually invisible. Seen the doctor once in the last twelve hours. He told us three hours ago we could be discharged but yet he we still sit.

Sandy Ribeiro

Given reading all the reviews and the care of my friend I’m basing my review; 1)First it seems that patients are NOT seeking any comforting from Public Relations Staff. Offering to discuss problematic care isn’t what ANYBODY wants. People expect professional, prompt respectful care in a clean room during their hospitalization NOT after they give their honest opinions. Patients are at the hospitals mercy during critical times. Most people are understanding that they may have some wait time, but come on, obviously the wait times here for services & care are extreme. It’s been said repeatedly. We’ve all been to ERs & know we may have a wait time. Admitted Patients in rooms are also complaining of the same. Seems Public Relations would be best dealing with the Hospital staff than the already disappointed or possibly devastated patients and or families. 2) With this many complaints, where’s Administration? 3) Why after over days/weeks of hospitalization and much begging are tests finally being done? How can a patient be having gangrenous issues for weeks undetected by medical staff?? 4) Why are patients families cleaning rooms? Seeing folks cleaning debris & blood off floors because it’s not being done by any employees?? 5) Quit trying to calm down upset patient/family reviews afterwards JUST FIX the problems they are telling you of! People aren’t seeking some post hand holding words, they want this hospital fixed for the benefit & best interest of the whole community. 6) Where are the Doctors? Why don’t they return to their patients & leaving nurses hanging with patient care? Is this hospital so bad that even the Doctors don’t care to show up? What ever these issues are FIX them no one wants email or phone call coddling by Public Relations. They want on site Compassion & Care!

Was feeling very sick. Also was unable to go to dialysis for a week, shortness of breath, nausea, headache, body sore all around, body filled with fluid ( face, feet & hands very swollen), & my voice is slurred & I'm unable to enunciate words. ER did nothing & sent me home, still not feeling well & needing dialysis.

Winnie Howard

Wonderful caring nurses before and after my neck surgery

Hunter Brown

not the top place to go , very poor response time

Susan Cornell

Went for annual mammogram. Got finished before my scheduled appointment time! Quick, pleasant check in. Quick, painless procedure. All staff friendly and courteous. Phone results the next day. See you next year.

EdiVania Powell

Efficient and welcoming service always. Thank you!

Jas Bar

Went here to birth my son and the team here is AMAZING! They are so attentive and caring. Made my experience so easy. I’d definitely recommend them to everyone.
