It's faster than St. Francis and Greenville Memorial.

Angela at intake was very professional. I would also like to mention Sandie and Dianne in the MRI dept. They both were also very professional and considerate.

Absolutely disgusted the way I was treated. I have ulcerative colitis, severe anxiety, and pancreatitis a few weeks prior & went in with a heart rate well near 150 — an obvious panic attack but the “doctor” came in, hours later, discussing my previous ER trips. First off, I know all the systems have my information & connect to each other. There was no rhyme or reason for her to talk condescendingly toward me while I was crying from discomfort. No one goes consistently to the hospital for fun & become in debt for life. She had zero compassion, amongst the other staff members who gladly share your information for all to hear and laugh and eat. I asked to go home because I was treated as a joke — probably because I don’t have health care (even though I was going to pay in FULL out of pocket) - I took my blood pressure and pulse at home. It was 200 and will see my primary doctor in the morning. Not only will I file a complaint but never recommended anyone go to this facility. As I was dizzy, walking out, there was a poor man throwing up outside and they didn’t even help him. Disgraceful and inhuman.

Our actual visit went great, ER Nurses, doctor, Resp ther, staff were all wonderful. We were in and out quickly and felt well taken care of. Today, I called to get billing information since I hadn't received anything yet. And spoke to maybe Sherly? asked twice, still didn't understand. (called at 8:30 on 01/16/2017), was surprised with how rude and unprofessional she was. I think she became upset when I asked if I could give my daughter's name rather than social. The call ended with a long pause, me saying is that it? Her saying un huh, me saying okay, thank you, another un huh and then she hung up. Wow! poor attitude and an unfortunate experience, considering the entire experience had been so pleasant up until the billing part.

Just do not ever go here .... ever. Went to the er this weekend with my wife and the doc literally said “you have an infection but there is something else wrong and we don’t know what it is” and he just discharged her with an antibiotic. They did one test which I had remind them to do because they forgot. They had loud music playing at the nurses station and they were all just cutting up and talking about getting off work. Now we are in Greenville ER and she has sepsis. It was not only the worst Er experience we ever had but it was a level of unprofessionism that I have not seen in ANY business except maybe a fast food restaurant. Thanks guys

My husband spent a week in this hospital for severe streptococcal infection in his leg. Doctors and nurses took really wonderful cate of him. ER staff made sure he was provided treatment ASAP. Everybody was so nice and caring. They checked on him constantly, making sure he has everything he needs. Best whishes to all Pelham Medical Center staff.

Is there a "0"? My parents took an elderly family member to the ER this past weekend. The nurse was judgemental, condescending and rude to them. She treated them as they were worthless. This nurse has no idea that they both work full time, that my dad bends over backwards to care for this lady and her home repsonsibities. Both sacrifice weekend after weekend handling her affairs. They always drop what they are doing if she is in need. They love her and do their best to visit, brighten her day. They find creative ways to get her out of the house, be it a drive, an ice cream, dinner out. The nurse scoffed at the idea that my family was nervous about dropping this relative when handling her one on one in the bathroom and bragged that she did it on her own, in reality there were 2 nurses plus a family member helping lift this patient in the bathroom. Then the nurse with attitude wouldn't even put on an ace bandage back on that the patient received the day before at another hospital for a sprained ankle. Do yourself a favor, avoid the rude staff and skip this place. Who needs that sort of stress on top of the stress of medical issues?

Ashley Bogan

Don't have surgery there if you have to stay in inpatient care. My sister had a surgery there two days ago that, normally people are home the next day. Hers wound up being a bit more involved than normal cases. The nurses seemed put off that she needed extra pain management and wasn't on her way out the door. I had to call for the nursing supervisor to speak to her and she was still being treated poorly enough that she went home before she really should have. If she has to go back due to complications I will be strongly suggesting she go elsewhere.

This used to be a wonderful ER to visit. Not anymore. We waited 4 hours and they couldn’t tell my father if he had a torn rotator cuff. Dr. Silva spent 4 minutes with him. Raised his arm, said the X-ray showed arthritis, and left. I highly doubt he even looked at his X-rays. Positive - the check out lady was nice and offered to call charge nurse so I could voice my concerns. I did not bc I was too tired and frustrated for my dad at that point. 4 hours and probably $400 bucks for absolutely nothing.

I was there recently for a surgical procedure and the personnel there are all great! The moment you walk in you are greeted warmly. Mary,at the Registration Office was very accommodating; HavatKelli in pre op and the other 2 nurses in pre op were as well very warm and caring! Once I was in Recovery, I awoke to find Melody caring for me! Again a very caring and dedicated nurse. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone needing surgery!

We just moved here from Ky. 4 months ago. The doctors and staff have been very nice. I had blood word done today and Angela was very professional and courteous. I appreciate all that help me.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I took my 2 yo with a bad cut to this ER and we waited for 3.5 hours to be seen. I eventually left and took her to the GHS Children's ER where she was promptly seen and treated. The other drs asked why I waited so long to bring her in. Uh, I thought she'd have been seen b/c I took her to another hospital.

Mike Sammon

The emergency room service and staff were excellent. I was seen by a physician within 15 minutes, CT scans were taken quickly and treatment began immediately. Unfortunately I had to be admitted to the hospital for further care over a 3 day perdiod. While the staff was very friendly and helpful, the medical care itself was VERY poor! None of the staff members realized that the equipment being used for my treatment was not set up correctly for the first 24 hours, and I woke up one night with medical waste spilled over the bed. The technicians with responsibility for taking vital signs had a lot of trouble using their equipment. The clinical staff kept me on saline drip for 3 days even though my urine output was not being monitored and was very low. The physician and PA's showed up only briefly at the end of each day and were not forthcoming about my status or the course of treatment. It seems that the hospital is more focused on staff friendliness rather than technical skills required for effective medical care.

Tina Williams

For after hours emergency care I wouldn't go any other place! Staff is very respectful and treats you like somebody. They care! It's unfortunate some other places don't. They are the best! The only problem is if you need to step outside for anything you have to wait until they are taking more patients back before you're allowed back in the room with your family member which is extremely frustrating. When you're worried and wanting to know what's happening every minute seems like an eternity. It took 15 minutes before I was allowed back in the room when I simply stepped out to my car for something to drink. SMH. Ridiculous.

Kenya Young

I went to the ER to be seen for severe pain in my back that radiated down my right leg and heel. Also had pain in the right side of my neck. The ER Doctor Wallace was very rude and humiliated me. Tried to make a complaint to the head nurse who was just as insincere and insensitive as the doctor. Oh Yea the nurse had a smart mouth too. I WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL AGAIN!!!!

Stephany Rosales

went in with an unknown illness and they thought i was on drugs and alcohol because i was dizzy and vomiting. I just left work at 11 am so wasn't either of those things. The doctor never came in, and the nurse said she thought it was vertigo. I went to my family doctor who was more concerned and he sent me for an MRI and i had an bleed behind my eye that was causing this issue. They were terrible and would never set foot in that place again. The doctor was a complete jerk and went strait to test her for narcotics when i told him i do not do anything like that. such a dick move

I'm actually sitting here waiting for stay results and this place is a f'kin joke. All these doctors and nurses are standing around laughing and joking. If I could give this place a lower rating I would. I'm am livid right now.

I recently had my Mammogram at PMC and Debbie and Jill were wonderful. They were very caring and compassionate. I was in and out in 30 mins. I have been other places where I felt like they were herding me around like cattle but, NOT here they took the time to talk to me and ask me about my medical history. The people at Pelham Medical Center Medical Office Building really care.

I've been in the Hospital system, as a patient since 1968. I closed down Allen Bennett and went to Greer. Now, if it was not for the Pelham Medical Center. I feel I would not be here writing this. Greer, well,, they need more maturity of the nurse staff. Back to Pelham, They do their job and do it in a mid 90% range. Sorry guys ,when someone says you are good, you'll start to slack off. From Strokes to major surgery. I was treated well. You go there for the sniffles, well maybe you need to wait for the others that have a bit more extensive problems. I can go on. Hey you don't like the place, don't go there. Lastly, Like me, if I have an issue with them, and I have, I haven't ran away and told others. I let them know right there. When an issue happens. You see, that's called "Constructive Criticism". They work on that issue to resolve it. Try it, you may like it.. If you still believe that nothing will change, well,,,,, next time I'm there, I'm taking your dessert.. Carrot cake.... Thanks !!!

This place just sucks being there with my girlfriend never had a good service.Recently I took her in with a series puncher wound on her foot they send in a you kid wants to be doctor and got the injury cleaned out side but not inside of course her foot now badly infected and she's in lot of pain and have high fever I guess doctors where not available to see her or they think it is not inportant. We have decided not to go there anymore,if you want to have a bad experience you go ahead, I am newer going back.

I had back surgery on December 19 and was admitted overnight afterwards. During my stay I had a few experiences that disturbed me and feel you need to know. After surgery, while in recovery, I was unable to move or speak, but was fully aware and able to hear everything. I was forced to listen to two recovery nurses complain about another coworker for almost 30 minutes. It was so discouraging it brought me to tears. Remember, just because we are drugged up doesn't mean we can't hear or feel. That recovery period was a sad experience that I could do nothing to change by asking them to shut up and stop talking about others behind their back. During my overnight stay I had two different nurses. One was friendly, courteous, and asked how I was doing. She tried to anticipate my needs. During my day, My nurse was more abrupt, and worse, at one point I got very nauseous and was told to call the nurse if that happened. I rang for the nurse, got no response, rang again a few distressful minutes later, and after about a minute was responded to over the speaker. I explained I was about to throw up and had nowhere to do it other than my lap. (I had had back surgery and was unable to get up or hardly move). After 15 minutes wait I had to swallow my own vomit and called for the nurse again. I was told the nurse would be right there. I vomited and had to swallow it again as I waited another 30 minutes before my nurse arrived. By then the nausea had gone down but was left distressed by that experience. There was nowhere for me to have vomited other than on myself or into a half full urinal hanging on my bed (that had been in that state for almost 8 hours). Also during my stay I overheard several staff complaining about patients or other staff. One between nurse and assistant was about the state of my bed as a blanket had fallen on the floor and a small amount of vomit had gotten on my pillow, and the general mess of bedclothes. During the morning before discharge I was asked if I had taken my walk yet. When I told them no, they complained that "ortho" still hadn't gotten to me yet. Ortho never did show up and eventually the nurse had to get me out of bed and through my walk, but couldn't answer any questions I had that ortho could have regarding my limitations and dangers to be aware of after going home. Discharge was somewhat unclear, and the discharge instructions were for a different type of procedure than the one I had, leaving me confused even more. Overall, although there was effort, my experience was disappointing. Remember, we are humans undergoing a very stressful period and don't/cannot go through bad attitudes, complaining, miscommunications, and slow response times to urgent needs. If the staff is too busy to address these issues, perhaps they need more help, and reminders that they have intelligent, feeling, stressed human beings under their care. It seems like a clean and attractive place to have a procedure, but the overall care and attitude was less so.

Christine Braffrod

This was my second injection. First was in Spartanburg Office Dr Ju is a winner. Bedside manner and technique was excellent. 8-15-2019: Second injection at Pelham MC, for some reason, no one cleaned the iodine off my skin and it stuck to my clothing. Communications need to improve at Pelham MC. I had an appointment canceled without my knowledge. Please correct the spelling of my name. BRAFFORD

I wouldn't board my pets at this hospital. My Mother has been a patient twice over the last 2 years. She has spent a little over a week each time. Her surgeon only performs surgeries at this hospital, that is the reason she has been there twice despite a semi bad experience the first time. I will list the issues we have with the hospital and staff - - Staff do not listen to patients - Staff do not properly attend to patients - Staff do not read doctors orders and do what they see fit (this happened numerous times) - Staff left my mother on a broken bed for 11 hours (she had back surgery) - My mother threw up in her bed for 2 hours, she rang the nurse, no one showed. I found her like this and attended to her. She could have choked on her own vomit and died. - She complained of a itching rash (multiple times) that was at an IV site. No one listened to her, no one checked it. After she was discharged it was found that the IV had been bad and her antibiotic was being discharged into her skin and not her bloodstream. Again, I wouldn't board my pets here. Please don't let your loved ones experience the same torture my mother went through. Find another hospital to treat your family members.

I cannot find one thing bad with my experiences there as a patient or as a guest visiting patients there.

Going to the ER always sucks but I was pleasantly surprised by PMC. The nurses were attentive and had good bedside manner. The doctors and staff treated my family with respect and care. Facilities were clean. Cafeteria wasn’t half bad either. Thanks and I hope I never see you again.

Ash Hall

I have had blood work done a few times a year for the last 4-5 years and I always have a great experience here! Short wait times and kind phlebotomists. Thank you for your great work today Melissa!

Megan Vessalo

Took my mom here - she was visiting from out of town. Very rude nurses in the ER, Doctor talked to us for less than 2 minutes total. I can't even tell you if she was nice or not because she was in such a hurry to just get in and out she didn't take them time to really talk to us at all or get complete information, and when we had additional questions only received attitude from the nurse and didn't even get to speak with the doctor again. Sadly our presenting complaint was not even addressed. This is more of a "treat em and street em" ER rather than a - try to get a diagnosis and address all of your concerns ER. It's sad because it reflects exactly what our healthcare has become, but keep looking there are other options. I know I won't be back.

I took my sister Shirley J. To the ER on July 26th I think. This staff is WONDERFUL do hear me? My sister was admitted in. The nurses and staff are BEAUTIFUL people. Well yesterday 8/13 I had to take my sister back because she did not follow instructions. She has some of the same staff. I even posted on Facebook. If I leave out your name blame mind not my heart because EACH and everyone of you are appreciated and loved. Sorry for any mis spells. The doctors: Dr Chittams, Dr. Mills, Dr Fallon, Dr Alexander, Dr . Wylie, Molly, Ms Georgia, Charles, Trevor, Victoria, Sharica, Winky niece - so I did not know her name, Courtney, Donna, Wendell, both Liz, Shannon, the ambulance drivers, the head nurse that gave Shirley the hat/cap off of her head because my sister liked it so much, Italia, the anesthesiologist, Paul, Their are so many to name on this team like I said if I dod not name know that what you have done my my family was appreciated.

Sad, Sad World that we live in when a Hospital, and I use that word loosely, leaves an Elderly Lady with Chest Pain, sitting and waiting to be seen and takes back a 18 year old WITHOUT a Social Security Number for a pregnancy test. I am at a loss for words.

Lawrence Chappell

Couldn't be more pleased with hospital staff and care. This will be my first choice for hospital care.

Angela McAnall

I live really close to this hospital and so this is where my entire family goes when we need to utilize ER services. We have had really inconsistent quality of care and service at this hospital. I went here with heart palpitations one day and got a female doctor that told me, "Maybe you just THINK you're having heart palpitations." Went back less than three weeks later with even worse palpitations and got a male doctor that took me seriously and asked me to push a button every time I felt one to make sure the nurses were aware. A nurse told me that only one nurse there knew how to go back into the heart monitor history to view the events. I realized all the lights were on but no one was home and understood why the doc had told me to, "just keep," pressing the button when I felt them. I left that day diagnosed with PVCs, a type of heart palpitation. On another trip to this ER I arrived with a migraine aura that had lasted over two hours. I was slurring my words and having difficulty walking due to the aura affecting my balance. I wasn't offered any help as I was lead with a group of other people to the newer portion of the ER. On another occasion, I brought my then 6 year old daughter in for what appeared to be a body wide reaction to an insect bite. She had hives and redness over her entire body. We waited probably over 45 minutes before she even saw a doctor. We got the distinct impression that staff here had no concern that she could go into anaphylaxis and have trouble breathing at any time. No one was monitoring her. I had to keep placing my ear up against her back to see if she was beginning to wheeze. On my most recent trip to the ER I went in with heavy bleeding and severe pain a little more than a week after having a minor procedure. I went to the counter to have something to hold on to as I was a bit light headed, and was told that someone was in front of me (which I didn't realize because they weren't talking, the lady had moved back away from the counter, and the check in lady was looking at me like she expected me to speak). I just wanted someone to know I was bleeding just in case I fainted. I tried to fill out the check in paper and was told not to. I waited and then checked in verbally and was immediately told all their beds were full and it could be a while. I said, "What does that mean? Does that mean no one will be able to check me?" She asked me to sit down and that she would have someone, "talk to me." several minutes later someone came out and said, "you wanted to speak with me?" I was confused. I didn't want to talk about my procedure in front of everyone in the crowded ER. I asked if I could explain in the room right next to her. She acted confused. I said, "I'm sorry, I don't know what's going on right now." No triage. Nothing. Just irritated and rude staff. I think I was there about 15 minutes and still had not been triaged. In fact, no one was getting triaged. When a woman walked in grasping her chest and her companion told the front desk she thought she was having a heart attack. The check in lady just said, "We'll get you back for an EKG soon." That's it! I realized if a heart attack patient wasn't getting triaged I sure as heck wouldn't be either and decided to leave for Greer Memorial (they were busy too) where I was encouraged to check in and then sent immediately to triage that was staffed and ready to go. An older gentleman walked me back to my room and was very kind, even saying, "I hope you feel better," when I left. Even the police officer working the ER was nice and said the same. Nurses and staff were incredibly kind and responsive. Here is how I would sum up the ER experience at Pelham Medical Center. It's hit or miss. You'll either feel like they were great and probably saved you or your loved one's life that day or you'll feel like you might die a cold and lonely death right there on the ER floor and no one would even notice. They were great when my son came in in the middle of the night with croup. They were a godsend really. But sometimes, they are sloppy and horrible.

lovelyj 75

The wait was long in the emergency room because it was so busy. I was there for a kidney infection and kidney stones. I had about a 3 hour wait, but once I got taken back to a room I was treated with kindness and respect and the doctor and nurses were great.

Human Alien

Went in the ER and was subject to "training" a nurse in giving blood. Felt like my arm was being torn to shreds after she stuck the needle in. Now I can't bend my arm a certain way because of the damage done. Went in for something lodged in my throat and when I refused to be used as a Guinea pig a woman came in to give me discharge papers and said "this is to make sure that if you choke to death in your sleep tonight we are not responsible" never in my life have I been treated with worse service. I could imagine that McDonald's has better medical staff than this place.

Kay Ladd

Had blood work on Aug 20, Mary was excellent and completed my registration very promptly. Soon John from lab called me back, he was so pleasant that I hated to mention my veins play hide and seek!! He was not concerned and proceeded to check my arm. Immediately he found a nice one and went to get the proper needle for me. No pain for insertion, and no bruising...which is usually bad. Thanks Mary and John for making this process so easy!!!!

Worst experience ive ever had at any hospital! been in the ER for 3 hours and still waiting this hospital is trash !

I was taken care of very well not like no other hospital I have been in will recommend to others

If I could give a -100 I would!! I live in NC and got into a wreck in Greer seeing my family and was sent to Pelham!! They made me sit in pain and was treated like a drug addict because I asked for pain medication (came in by ambulance) and tried to say I asked for a script of pain medication (and I didn’t I’m under a pain contract which I told them from the get go) and gave me a pain pill that was like Tylenol.. and than when I called and complained in thier notes was false allegations when I have witnesses If I lived there I wouldn’t take my dog there!!! When I called to correct the allegations all I heard was “sorry” 50 times if u r looking for a hospital that cares don’t go there!!!!

First time ever here. Had to bring a relative to get an ultrasound on his right leg. I got us here 1 hour before his 1pm appointment time. He was taken to the ultrasound room around 1:30p. There were others already waiting. I didn't mind so I took a short nap. The procedure lasted 1 hour and we left at 2:30p. We were greeted with smiling happy faces despite our early arrival. Angela M (PAR) and Fatemeh J (Sonographer) were friendly throughout. Even the two ladies at the main desk were friendly. Frankly, I had no idea PMC existed 'til today. The facility was clean and it all looked brand new. I'm sure I will visit again. Thanks PMC!

Came in early am, in serious pain. Had blood work and urine back (90 mins according to board) before I even saw a doctor 1x!! They are rude, and act like they cant be bothered. Registration lady was rude. I will NEVER come back here again nor will I suggest it to anyone else!!

I was seen at the emergency room today,12-24-15. I was dealing with severe anxiety and did not have a regular physician to see. They were extremely nice and unbelievably helpful. Great manners and personality.

Wish I could go lower than 1 star. This place is a joke. Watched them pull my girlfriend's chart and place it back in the triage bin not once but twice and just skip right over her name as she is in tears sitting in the waiting room. Sat in the waiting room after triage for over an hour watching everyone else who came behind us get taken back. I will never darken their doors again!

Ashley Tucker

I was taken here with paralysis in my hands. During my visit (4 hour time frame) it progressed to my whole body. I was told to call a neurologist in a week and was discharged. My boyfriend freaked out and the ER Doctor went to "see if they could admit me". During that time we called the neurologist they told me to call and they said "get her to GHS NOW! DO NOT GO HOME!". I was taken to GHS where I spent 1 night being stabilized in ER, 1 night in ICU, 10 days in acute care and 25 days in RCP. I was diagnosed with a rare Neuro-Immune disease. If I would have went home I could have died! Good luck getting accurate care here! Go anywhere else!

Very nice place and very nice people...

Everyone is always so polite. Sitting and waiting in the ER was never a long time. And that is always a Plus.

I visited this healthcare facility today via the emergency room (sciatica) and was more than pleased. The wait to be seen was a little under 15 minutes ,which is great. All the staff I interacted with were pleasant and friendly. I just wish I could rate my experience higher than 5 stars. I was more than satisfied ,thanks.

2 1/2 hour wait is simply ridiculous when your dehydrated and have been vomiting for 3 days now. Absolutely ridiculous.

Will Blanton

Came in at 1:40am on Saturday morning with my wife with kidney stones. By the time I got in from parking the car, we were on the way back to a room. We were there until about 5, but at no point did it feel like we were waiting for no reason. Nurses were constantly in the room and the Doctor stopped by several times. All of the people were super nice and really friendly! I'm not sure if it was just a slow night or what, but they definitely made it the least miserable ER experience I've ever had.

missy bowlin

We have never been to a nicer hospital! The care was fantastic from check-in to check-out. Nurses were fabulous and everyone was friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs down to the housekeeping, maintenance, and cafeteria. We can not find anything that wasn’t positive during my husband’s knee replacement. My husband and I compared the experience to Chick Fil A service. Hoping not to have to go to a hospital again, but if we do, we will chose Pelham Medical Center!

Nicole S

Please take my advice and do NOT go here. Took three hours to see a doctor then they told my Mom they would refer her to a general surgeon and gave her some pain meds. Pain meds that she is allergic to and it was clearly stated on her chart AND they even asked what she was allergic to. Then we find out today that they never sent the referral!! Never again will I grace their front door.

I would never take my child to this place again! I took my 9 month old baby with a severe cough, wheezing and vomiting. Waited about two hours for the doctor to come in and say its a common cold nothings wrong go home and let her rest. 3 am that night my child seemed to be worse, so i decided to take her to Spartanburg Reginal ER where she was diagnosed with RSV and double ear infection and was admitted for 3 days. Never again would i go to the Village on Pelham..

I was in for a severe allergic reaction to a medication. They just kept giving me more drugs, nothing helped, they just made the pain worse. They basically said they had no idea why I was in so much pain when the type of pain I was experiencing was a known side effect of the drug. After several hours they just gave me a huge dose of Adavant and sent me home... I went to another ER six hours later and it was discovered that I had drug induced hepatitis and was admitted. Adavant is contraindicated for patients with compromised livers. Pelham hospital did nothing to help me, and infact could have damaged me further. The only positive I remember is the nurse I had was at least pleasant.

I had outpatient lab work done last month. It was the best experience I have ever had. The registration process was quick. The wait time for lab tech was short. Shiree drew my blood and did a fantastic job! I could hardly feel the stick. Just the way I like it!

I never go anywhere else for physical therapy, Internal medicine, etc.

Today i was scheduled to Have a test performed at the Pelham Medical Center. Beginning with the receptionist everyone was courteous and informative. Desirae my patient rep was polite. She explained each form I needed to sign and where to go next after her office. Very sweet. Then Diane was the tech who performed my ECHO. Beginning with maintaining my privacy as i changed clothes into my gown she was very attuned to my needs.. She explained as she went along as to why she was doing certain things and we discussed what I should be asking my doctor to explain in regards to the results of the test. I have been hospitalized at the medical center twice , have used several of the doctors affiliated with this facility and have had several procedures done. Have always been pleased with the staff. Look forward to using their facility again.

This was my first visit here. BIG MISTAKE. brought my mother in at 5:30pm it Is now 8:30pm and we are still sitting in the waiting room. I understand things get busy. But waiting room is less than half full. At this point I thought for sure we would have been put in a room so my senior mother could rest. The front desk staff was a little snippy. The 1st triage nurse a male was nice. My mother is a diabetic and getting close to time when she usually checks her sugar. I approached the other nurse(female) about it. She acted like it was such an inconvenience to check it. The only salvation for for this place would be if the Dr.'s are miracle workers. Lesson learned.

worst club ever. music was local radio played over intercom. no dj. no bass. all the bartenders were wearing drab pajamas, and nearly all the patrons looked sick or injured. last time i take a tip from a cab driver

Relative seen in occupational medicine. Staff were very rude and condiscending. Treated with disrespect the entire visit. Do not plan on coming back here.

I.was the only person waiting for lab work and had to wait almost 15 minutes! My lab was done quickly, but my online medical chart says I was a “no show” for my appointment!. My lab results have been posted, but they say I missed my appointment! I would like this removed! I’ve never missed an appointment!

Dixie Cooper

I went to Pelham Medical Center for a CT scan. My visit was a delight. Kim, Jocquie, and Lori were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I give my overall visit an A+!

Samantha Spencer

I sat there for over an hour before I was even called to a room and they wasn't even busy! Biraes and staff was rude! A nurse ripped the IV out of my arm and it still contained to bleed heavily fortwn minutes..

I had scheduled two different office visits 1-1/2 hrs apart at the Pelham Medical Center on the same day. On both appointments, I experienced NO WAITING TIME and was greeted cheerfully and treated professionally by both office and their medical personnel. Special congrats and acknowledgement to "Morgan" on the wonderful and grateful assistance she provided me on my appointment time! I would highly recommend this facility!

I recently had spinal surgery performed at Pelham Medical Center. What an incredible experience. The service, facilities and employees all exceeded my wildest expectations. I have never received better customer service from a healthcare facility. I would like to name a few of the many employees that helped me...Jill in Registration, Mirabelle for Pre-Op, Angela and Laura for Pre-Op, Angela M. PAS, Tia C. In Recovery, Kim PAS, Wesley in X-ray. Also Dr. Mina and the Anethisologist (who was absolutely delightful). God forbid I ever have to go under the knife again but if I do it will be at Pelham Medical Center in the hands of the best healthcare professionals around. God bless each and everyone of you.

Donna Cartwright

I was sent there for stress test on 4/29-30. Couldn't ask for better care. Everyone was exception from Angela and Allison who got me registered in to the techs. Jessie & Brandi (stress lab) who did my stress test was amazing. They explained everything as they went along and it went just as they said. Jeremy & Doug (Nud-med) were also wonderful. I do give an extra big shout out to Doug though. He was so amazing and held my hand thru the whole picture process both days. Talking and keeping my mind off of what was happening. Thank you Doug you rock!!! Thank you to the rest of my team also - you are amazing.

I am not a stranger to emergency rooms having suffered a heart attack and a stroke. I do not understand the poor reviews on this hospital for I found it to be the opposite...from the time I walked through the door until I departed, I was impressed by the Staff from the Lady at check-in, to the Nursing Staff (Kaitlyn RN) and the Provider Dr. Elizabeth Adkinson. All were courteous and knew their jobs and proformed them well. An ER joy has to be tring and everyone their in my book was great. Thank you for making my visit to a emergency room on a Friday Night tolerable.

Christine Couch

Very nice staff. I have no complaints.

Have been to this hospital on two occasions and although the staff have been nice and the waiting time minimal, both occasions I left feeling like I had been to a doctor's office vs. a hospital. The first visit I went for head and neck pain within a week of a car accident, was checked quickly and then told i would need to find a specialist to run scans of my body in question. I left confused and in pain. The second time going to this hospital, was this week and for pelvic pain, lower back pain, blood in urine, chills, and I was barely able to walk. I was given a urine test, no blood tests, no scans, etc. I was told I had a URI infection and was handed some antibiotics to take via mouth and given a prescription. I was in shock, have kidney disease in my family, and realized from an ER doctor in a nearby area that I should have been given a blood work-up, and a ct scan to check for kidney infection, obstruction, etc. I would only recommend this facility for small doc office type visits. Anything truly ER related, I will attend the two ER's in the region and know that my wait time will be longer but I will have appropriate testing and ability to be treated for severe conditions vs. sending me to other locations.

Melody Black

Amanda Pruitt PA has no idea what's she's doing, no concern for the needs of her patients. She does not take her patients seriously and tries to get them in and out of the ER as fast as she can without truly addressing the issue of the patient.

They seemed great until the 1 smart man figured out radiology forgot to send 4 X-ray's to whoever reads/looks at them. What a waste of time & people in there coughing .I don't need that. I told them So Long

My experience here was horrible. I would NEVER recommend this place. The bed side manner was horrific. The lady rammed my leg into the bed and hit it again with her body later on in the night. She didn't care and it came across. I left in the same condition as I arrived with no diagnosis to the swelling and inflammation in my foot. The services they provided were not relevant to my case. I felt as if I were a number and not a patient. Four hours later and there was no solution. It was a waste of time and I am now in the hole $3,600 for crappy service and no treatment. I would never recommend this phacility

I've been to the Village at Pelham(Pelham Medical Center) several times in the past and received excellent care and superior service. I'm not sure what happened but that level of service is no more. The nurses really didn't address my problem, even after spending 6 hours in their care. The doctor seemed in a hurry and didn't take the time to even listen. My nurse in training had to reset my IV twice. What happened to best in the upstate?

Christie Smith

This used to be a great hospital. I dont know what happened to it. I was seen today for shortness of breathe and sweeling in my legs. They did a bunch of test..xray,ekg, bloodwork ect...i dozed off for a minute..the nurse came in and told me...NOT A THING. She didnt tell me about any of test results. Didnt tell me anything about what they thought was causing my systems. I was told to go sign a paper and i was done. I asked her about the results and she told me it was in the paper work i was signing for. Only thing in the paper was low sodium diet which i already am on. Couldnt even get a work excuse cause she was gone. Hell greenville memorial is not my favorite place but atleast they pretend to care

Took my boyfriend there one night because he was in TERRIBLE pain from coughing so much and had been running a high temp. his whole body was aching and he was sweating and he was coughing so so bad. Keep in mind this guy is a freak of nature I call him that as well as everyone who works for him because his pain tolerance is insanely high and he NEVER complains about anything at all. NEVER. He had been really bad sick for exactly a week when i took him to this disgusting hospital and no one seemed to care. We did get back in a room immediately however once we were back there the nurse at the time made him take off his sweater to put the arm strap on to get vitals and never brought him or even offered him a blanket.... knowing how sick he looked. She asked literally 3 questions and then walked out. Right after the first nurse walked out another walked in and asked the exact same 3 questions (he could barely breath or talk and he had told them this). He was coughing so heavily he was in so much pain he could barely deal with it. that nurse walked out and a few other people came in. Then DOCTOR DARLENE MYLES came in with an angry nasty look on her face and had her hands in her pocket and acted so disengaged with him that is literally pissed me off immediately. He was trying to tell her how kuch pain he was in and she literally raised her voice and demanded he told her where as the whole time he was saying everywhere. She literally stood there made the man in terrible chronic pain lift himself up then she insisted he lifted himself up even more when clearly he could barely breath or move. She then listened to him breath TWICE!!!!!! once in the front and once in the back and then said ok... and walked out of the room and as she was walking out she said in a very rude tone "yeah i didnt hear anything" Let me go ahead and say this.... When i layed on his chest with JUST my ear pressed against him I COULD HEAR how hard it was for him to breath. She then sent the nurse in to do a flu swab and the nurse was sooooo rough that it made him jump up out of the bed... ive had these done before and i know for a fact its not supposed to be that painful... but it goes to show how uncaring this place it !!!! Then an xray tech came in and got him and brought him back in and then the doc came back (oddly) fast and said "nope its not the flu, you just have a minor cold we are sending you home with some tussin to help the cough a bit" and "DOCTOR MYLES" walked out without saying another word....She didnt say "hope you feel better" "sorry youre in pain and we cant help you" nothing at all.... this place disgusted me !!! I've been to numerous hospitals in my time and this was by far the absolute worst... He woke up the next morning even more sick than the night before. he couldnt talk he could barely move. he couldn't swallow. he couldn't breath.... I had a friend of ours take him to an URGENT CARE and there he was treated SO amazing ..... but he did have Severe Bronchitis.... "DOCTOR MYLES" seemed to have over looked that part.... not so much of a "DOCTOR" in my eyes.. Pelham medical center is a waste of time and money... take your loved ones to MD360 !!!!!
