Here you have the opinions of real people who purchased the services of Laurens County Memorial Hospital (Hospital) in the area close to South Carolina.
At this moment this firm receives a score of 2.5 out of 5 and this score is based on 42 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is quite scarce, and it's founded on a very high number of scores, so we can conclude that the assessment is very faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they are pleased with the business, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write evaluations when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Hospital is classified in the category of General hospital.
They literally do not care about the patient at all. I went in for a swollen and painful breast. It is literally 2 times the size it normally is. They gave me a pregnancy test (after I already told them I wasnt pregnant) told me it was negative and sent me home.
They DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS. Especially, their mental health patients!!! Rude as hell, don't care where they send the adolescents who are in need of mental health care or anything. They treat mental health patients like DOGS. It's insane and ridiculous to say the least. Do not go there, go to Gwd or somewhere else!!!!
The best hospital ever!!!!!!Dr Coker is the best!!!!
This a Mickey Mouse operation, they have an entire staff of people who have not a clue how to do their jobs properly nor are they close to being a legitimate healthcare facility. Don't waste your time, go to a real hospital in Greenwood or Greenville.
Worst experience ever. And very very slow
This hospital dumb asf.You may as well stay home. This hospital need to do better.Been Waiting To be seen in the emergency room for 2 hours
My step dad just had to wait 4 hours in the waiting room for a bed while in excruciating pain...They had no beds available for 4 hours....Really?
Apparently they dont answer the phone after 5pm. What a world we live in. A hospital shuts down the phones for they dont have to help us.
Guess it depends on what shift you get. Got here at 6:51pm, sitting in my room waiting for discharge papers at 7:30pm. Everyone I talked with today were helpful, polite and knowledgeable.
My mother was brought into the ER on Easter Sunday. From the moment she entered the hospital she was given the best possible care. Every test was done to determine what was wrong with her. Every discipline was involved and all were professional and caring. She was treated exceptionally well both from a medical and personal standpoint. She was admitted to the second floor that afternoon and again received professional and personal care. A few days later she had to be transferred to the ICU and her care continued to be exceptional. Therapy, nutrition, housekeeping, nursing, doctors, specialists - all were excellent,. Everyone treated her with the best medical care and were concerned with her mental and physical health while being compassionate and understanding of her needs. They were also understanding of our needs as a family during her crises. I feel several staff members stood out and went above and beyond during her stay there. I was impressed and grateful for the professional quality of care she received and I thank everyone involved during her stay. I would highly recommend this hospital.
Father here in the er. In an intense amount of pain and they will not give him anything to alleviate it. Also, he asking for water and all the nurses just ignore our and his requests. Also the ceiling in the room is covered in dust. If he wasn't already here and hooked up to iv machines I would take him to Greenville memorial. Laurens hospital is absolute garbage.
I like the informative details. But my only visits there were very helpful. Caring staff on first shift in the Er department. Thank you
This hospital is a joke. They don’t do their job they literally sit behind a desk for an hr then tell you to go home. No one at this facility is helpful and you can tell they do not care about the community that they are supposed to help and care for. They need to go ahead and shut the hospital down.
Worst hospital ever. My daughter has a rare condition that requires port administered I.V. rescue drugs. Broke her foot, was in waiting room 3 hours.. she started having an attack. I asked the lady at front desk that my daughter was starting to have an attack is there anywhere that I can give her a treatment. She went and asked triage nurse, who said no..they had no room available. No one was using triage room, couldn't even use that. Instead they told me that I could take her to the bathroom and give it to her. Yah, like the bathroom is the best place to give I.V. infusions. So I had to leave the hospital to take her home to give her her rescue drug.
I will sue you and not owe you anything for what you put on my record and for how i was treated in your barnyard ER. Let's see what Medicare does. Remember i'm a NOONE on government help. The meds would have been covered by Tricare soon, but fat chance for you. If i could, i'd destroy you. I have every piece of paperwork.
I was brought in at 9:49 by EMS for a SEVERE anxiety attack (mine are so bad I was given a psychiatric service dog to help me mitigate this and have a siminormal life) I sat in the front struggling to breathe even with all of my coping skills until almost 10:30 by 11:45 they had pulled bloods, given an IV of saline for dehydration, and an x-ray and then left me in a room ALONE until 4:54 STRUGGLING TO BREATHE THE WHOLE TIME! I almost passed out multiple times,my alarms would go off and be remotely silenced, and I was never given ANYTHING for my breathing OR my anxiety! On top of all of that the nurse checking me out initially refused to write me an excuse for the time I missed at work (NOT FOR THE NEXT DAY JUST A YES SHE WAS HERE EXCUSE) but then turned around, after I broke down again because my job requires an excuse if you leave and go to the hospital or you get fired, and wrote me a note for last night and tonight and going back tomorrow with a "make sure you get plenty of rest today" in a snarky voice .. I have NEVER in my life been made to feel so absolutely wothless and alone! ESPECIALLY from health care professionals! I will NEVER go back here EVEN IF IT'S THERE OR DEATH!
Laurens hospital is not the place to go if you are in need of medical help. Go somewhere else !!! Anywhere else. ☹️
On April 20, 2017, my eye doctor sent me to the ER, due to loss of vision in my left eye. She wanted to make sure that I had not had a stroke. Dr. Jittin Muljibhai was not happy to see me. He was angry because he was having to deal with me. He kept saying he didn't understand why I would come to Laurens when they don't have the proper equipment. When I tried to explain to him what happened, he kept interrupting me and questioning me like I was lying, he would keep telling me that my story didn't make sense. I finally looked at him and said if you will read the paper that I gave you from the eye doctor, it explains to you what is going on. He then storms off, has me sit there for 3 hours and orders a CT SCAN. The CT SCAN showed that I did not have a tumor but he didn't have anymore information. He discharged me, even though I still could not see. He told me that he didn't know what was wrong and that he did not care. When my family responded that they would just take me to Greenville, he said Go ahead, I already talked to the Doctor there and he doesn't care either. The nurse came in and apologized and told me to go to Greenville. At Greenville he had put in the notes that he had referred me to an Eye Specialist ( NOT HE DID NOT). He gave me a paper that explained how to live with vision loss and things I could to to make my life easier. Greenville sent me to a specialist, who found out I had inflammation behind my eye and a pinched nerve that stopped blood flow to my eye. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LAURENS!!!
Arrogant ER staff. Dr (using term lightly) wouldn't let you finish a response when he asked questions. Now I know why the parking lot and lobby were empty! People only make that mistake once!
Been waiting well over an hour for EMERGENCY ROOM SERVICES is not right. Plus some 3 year old with a moms who's neglectful runni v into every room bothering pepple
Excellent loved the people and the treatment
These pics on here I posted are of the park that the hospital has right beside the inpatient admittance area. Hospital has became better equipment since Greenville Memorial has became apart of it.
Save a life. Go to any hospital anywhere else! Had a friend who had a stroke, they gave him an aspirin & sent him home. They even believed he was having a stroke & still sent him home. Only go here if you want to get worse.
My husband arrived by the ems on the 19th of February the EMT workers great it was on night shift the staff was all on there phone's the doctor came into the room looked at the injury which was open didn't even attempted to cover the womb I had to cover it after we arrived home the doctor stated no finding in the leg at the time after staying up all night we arrived the next day to find out the leg need surgery as the home care stated he was sent home with pain meds tub. It wasn't true I talked with a lady from church who experience a bad trip the next day this place need to close down
I check in at 12:13 am,no one was here! The staff was all sitting around doing nothing!!!Time is 1:50 and I have not seen no one no Dr.,or nurse!!This is very unacceptable,What kind of hospital is this?!!!!Dr.here is uneducated and the staff have a real bad attitude!!!
They took excellent care of my father.
You're better off going to a Voodoo witch doctor than to this facility...really.
I am a truck driver and was passing through when had an emergency. I was worried at first because the hospital is in a small town...the week before I went to a hospital in Jacksonville fl and was released with indigestion. Couple days later same pain but this time I was in Clinton sc. This hospital found the problem and fixed it. Every one was great from the er staff to the nurses and the Dr.'s...the best hospital experience i have ever had. I think they saved my life by catching the problem while the big city hospital sent me out to die saying i had indigestion. Thank you to all those at Laurens County Mem Hospital for all you did to help me. My family thanks you to.
Terrible terrible terrible.
Well after a fall in Union county and going threw their Sheriff's department over a fall from off my front porch. I had a bloody nose and scratches this hospital with the same case problem treated me very nice no police were called and they had a kind doctor who even explained to me to be careful next time maybe consider buying a rail for the steps. I never give 5 stars but due to the doctor and nurses especially the doctor even recommending a rail is over and beyond what you expect! Good job Laurens
Back to Er 3 days In a row still getting the same shit this is the worst hospital
Worst phone service ever! Noone answers the phone.
