It’s a world class Veterans Center. ENT Clinic and the support is excellent. I’ve never had a bad experience. Totally awesome care for vets. Valet parking too. Thank you God Bless! The staff.

I would give it a good rating so far.. Other than Athens VA falls under Augusta VA and the athens will tell you the phone is broke.. It always has no ring etc.. And no answer... And they sure aren't seeming to fix it. now that I think about it. They called me for x-rays after I got an mri and after I gave them some from Eastside medical... They say they need them done in house..... I live two hours away... Not that easy.

Not a 100% but it is 4 1/2 stars to me to date. Most of the people care about their jobs but are unhappy about the limitations placed on them. The formulary is restrictive with little or no deveation such as one medication being set to only one dosage level and you'll get a pill cutter; "and we all know how inaccurate those are" Further more a simple thing like bandaids cheap's at the hospital but the really good ones come to you on the formulary. Go figure. Only one size for under garment "Medium" when at other VA's multiple sizes are available.

Love the hospital itself but the patriot store won' t exchange clothes without the exact tag. Had a fit trying to satisfy my wife with this situation. I think this matter needs to be resolved exspecialy when there is no manager in sight. I will take my business elsewhere.

Never had anything but great care there. The only thing I have seen is The cafeteria should be shut down or change whoever operates it. Ripping off veterans and hospital staff with very poor quality food at an extreme price isnt really a good look.

Downtown Augusta Campus Medical Center I’m a Veteran who has to come to Augusta from Macon (2.5hr Drive) anytime I need something bigger than my home office can deal with. I’ve been here about 4 times now in the last 2 months. I tried filing out the travel compensation paperwork last time I was here but it was difficult and I couldn’t find anyone to help me. They just had a slit in the window that said put it here. I’ve had no problems with any of the departments so far. I’ve mainly dealt with gastroenterology and it seems my MD really cares about my issues. I absolutely LOVE the valet parking for Veterans, this makes it so nice.

I have a great experience with the staff every time I visit the center. Much like our local Athens, Ga., clinic, everyone is very nice, very helpful, and honestly concerned about the well being of us veterans.

The valet parking lady was extremely rude and hostile to me because my floorboard was dirty. Since I'm disabled it's really hard to keep the car mint all the time. I don't know who they use for this valet service but it's really bad especially because there the first customer service interaction with the veterans. Updated jan 2019 The ER is a Joke and i hate coming but i have no choice. Waited an hour before taken back waiting room was empty when i arrived 2 other people taken in before me both had mild conditions as mine. Waited in the room for another hour listening to the staff tell each other there life stories and not do any real patient care. Definitely just a check for most of these employees not about real patient care. I was optimistic this place would have improved with the changes in leadership & management.

The staff is wonderful. They seem to really care about their job and the patients that they see. The Augusta VA is an example of doing it right. While not without fault, they quickly remedy any situation that reduces their ability to provide for the health and well-being of their constituents.

I've been to bad hospitals, but this one takes the cake. God complex doctors with the waiting time you go along with it. If you ask a question about ANYTHING to the doctors, its like you are the most annoying needy person in the world. I just wanted to know what's wrong with me. I guess when you know you're the only VA emergency room in the area, you can treat patients however you want. Thank you for nothing. I'm glad everyone else that have a review had a good experience. I DID NOT! And I still don't have an answer to what's wrong.

The Va hospital is well maintained by Charlie Davis. He has the best ground crew in the CSRA. They keep the Hospital under full respect. I recommend this clean place to anyone. What more is there to say? Good job grounds crew and of course Mr. Davis.
