AEHS is a very caring emergency hospital. Staff keeps you up to date on your pets progress at all times. Highly recommended.

Benjamin Robbins

Incredible management & staff. I've been around these people for years now, and I can tell you with certainty that they're caring, hard working, well staffed with plenty of help on hand at all hours, experienced, and most importantly, very competent at their difficult jobs!

Toby Boyd

We took our injured puppy in to the office last night. They were fantastic to work with. The staff was knowledgeable and sympathetic to our puppy. I believe they saved Shirleys life, and we are very grateful. The prices are very very very expensive, but they do good work.

Heather Dutzel

Took our dog to her regular vet on Friday and was waiting on test results. Saturday was a terrible day for her and Sunday we decided to take her to Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand. Dr. Davis diagnosed her with an inner ear infection. Within 2 hours of starting meds our dog was back to normal. Can’t thank Dr. Davis enough! Would highly recommend this place!

Sarah Chappell

Everyone here is absolutely wonderful! Dr Lucius was wonderful with my sweet pup and so patient and thorough. Thank you to Dr. Lucius, and to Elaine, Amanda, and Jennifer for their help as well! Hopefully I will not have to bring my pets back here again (no one wants a sick pet!) but if I do, I have full faith they will be given the best of care here! Thank you again

Morgan Williams (IL Dental 20)

Everyone here was incredibly kind; the front desk staff, the techs, and the vet that we saw. They were slam packed and still timely, efficient, and polite. They took very good care of my little dog and I cannot say enough positive things about them.

Kristen Robbins

I can honestly say that all of the staff, doctors and technicians do an incredible job each and everyday. These folks are some of the most compassionate, hard working and knowledgeable people I have met on a professional and personal level. The Animal Emergency Hospital of The Strand goes above and beyond for each and every client and patient that comes thru the door.

I needed a vet and all of the ones around me were closed early Sunday morning. I happened to find Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand. I was able to bring my cat Jon Jon in and Dr. Lucius and Nicole took great care of him. Unfortunately, I had to put him down due to a bad seizure. I was devastated. Thank you both for the gentle care and kindness shown to me and my beloved cat. I would highly recommend them and your hospital! Thank you for having wonderful people working there!

We needed the services of a Vet today (Sunday) as our regular Vet was not open they recommended the Animal Emergency of GS. Our dog of 13 years started acting a bit strange Saturday, she did not improve as the weekend progressed, therefore needing attention long before Monday. Unfortunatley the diagnosis was not positive and we had to make the decision that no pet owner wants to make. I must say that we found the staff, from receptionist to the Dr. Rak were all friendly, caring, professional and extremely compassionate. It was a difficult time for our family.... to say goodbye to the family pet who has been a part of the family from the time the kids were young. The staff made this loss of ours a bit more bearable. Thank you Dr Rak and the rest of the staff for your empathy and compassion.

Deborah Carter

My dog was a patient for post surgery monitoring. They took compassionate excellent care of her. She is a timid female and they were very loving in their care. Made her comfortable to stay overnight. Dr. G. was very patient explaining discharge instructions. That was one week ago. I was greatly impressed when they called us on the holiday to see how she was doing. Love them!

June Baker

Kind professional service in a great pet friendly atmosphere. Doctor was awesome. Would definitely recommend and use again if necessary.

Leighanna Whitehead

I cannot say enough about Rachel & the wonderful service she gave me when bringing my dog in for HGE. She was absolutely wonderful, very patient, and so informative. This is the second visit Ellie has went there due to HGE & I can definitely say that just Rachel alone has made this recent visit so much greater than the last - she loves what she does and you can see that by the way she treats you and your pet. Dr. Hooker was also fabulous. I never got to meet Emerald but just spoke with her on the phone a few times when calling to check on Ellie & she was super sweet every time and kept me up to date on how Ellie was doing. You will not regret going here vs going to another emergency hospital. Thank you Rachel, Emerald & Dr. Hooker for making our visit great.

Last Saturday evening Toby, my fur baby, had a very sore front paw. He was constantly licking it and was hesitant to put weight on it. We visited the Emergency Hospital and from the moment we entered the door we were greeted warmly. My Toby was treated with kindness and compassion. Dr. Cousins was very sweet and extremely knowledgeable. Toby was given a course of antibiotics to take and by Monday he was showing signs of improvement. I know had we waited til Monday to see our vet, he would have had a full blown infection. So thank you to all the staff at the Emergency Animal Hospital. Keep doing what you’re doing. You’re awesome!!

I would like to thank the staff and especially Dr. Guilbeau who performed the emergency surgery on our 11 yr old Weimaraner. They saved her life!! We were on vacation when this emergency occurred and were apprehensive about going someplace we knew nothing about. We called a local vet close to where we were staying and their recording directed us to this hospital. The staff was understanding and caring. They called us in the middle of the night as soon as the surgery was over. They followed up with us afterwards to see how our dog was doing. The operation was expensive but they showed us the breakdown of the costs and the possible range prior to the operation. The estimate was EXTREMELY accurate and came in at the low end. If you are in the area and have an after hours emergency I would highly recommend this Vet and this facility. Thanks again for saving our dog who is now back home and doing great!!

Good emergency vet

I had to take my dog there this morning. I don't know exactly what happened to him but all of the sudden he was in a lot of pain. I am thinking he was bit by a snake but anyways I took him to this Hospital and they charged me $177 just to tell me if he's still in this pain after I give him this medicine bring him back within 24 hours. They gave him an ibuprofen which they gave me the prescription and charged me $30 and I could have gotten it filled at CVS for $3. I am totally 100% disabled and I am on a fixed income but they know that people love their animals and they will pay whatever it is to get their animal out of pain. They completely gouged me. This should be completely against the law of what they did to me. Why didn't they even take an x-ray to find out if he was hurt internally? I guess if you are rich it wouldn't matter to you but I am not rich but I still love my dog and they knew I had to take care of him. /

June Schlichting

Very new to area when my beloved Papillon was mauled by a large dog at the beach. It was toward night , the dog was bleeding, i didn't know where to go. GPS showed me to this site. It was late, dark and I was so scared for my pup. The Vet handled the pup right away, sewed him up and we are on our way to recovery. I can't thank them enough for the kindness and efficiency... We are still going back for follow up and am very pleased with all of them, especially the Vet. She is wonderful.

Sarah Shartzer

Dr. Davis was very professional and considerate when we brought our two-year-old dog in. We were very concerned about her behavior, but as it turns out she only had swimmers tail, which we had never heard of before. Despite the possibility we were overreacting, Dr. Davis and the team never made us feel silly about it. Having had multiple emergency vet experiences in the past, we felt the cost was reasonable. You can't put a price tag on furry family members!

Deborah Raimann

I had to wait hours this afternoon with many other people & their pets. The employees gave the utmost care and didn't rush you. I was so Happy to find a place opened Sundays & at night.

Patti Morken

Brought my dog in for vomiting and labored breathing. Was told without exam that he had a brain tumor. Was told to leave him overnight and to pick up in am. Was told he was excelkent. They pumped him up with fluids and when I put him in the cat he started to die. All they cared about was the 900 dollar bill and the doc didn't even end want to come out when. I went back in to tell them how distressed he was. This is a horrible place. Do not ever bring your pet there.

Monica Cox

I love how they keep you informed of what's going on when you leave your pet there. They keep you updated even late at night. The staff explored all options for care and gave valuable input on what should be done. The front desk receptionist is very kind and knowledgeable. Overall, highly satisfied with our visit. Not so much the price. But any type of medical care is expected to be expensive.

Lori Carson

We were visiting from out of town when our dog was bitten by another dog. I was amazed at how quickly our baby received attention. She had to be anesthetized for stitches and a drain tube insertion. While we were waiting for the conclusion of her procedure several other pets came in. All were treated promptly and with genuine concern for each. Kind, caring, compassionate, professional...there aren't enough good things I can say about this staff. They never left us hanging and kept us up-to-date the entire time we were there. Instructions for home care were clear. Our hometown emergency vet can learn a lot from these folks! THANK YOU!!

Stephanie Stanley

I had to make the hardest decision of my life and have my sweet Lily put down, she had stage 4 lung cancer. I would like to thank the staff of this facility because they were so kind and showed so much compassion to me and my dog. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

Scott Barth

We found our 10 yr old cat unresponsive at home when we returned from work. We brougt our cat there immediately but unfortunately there was no heartbeat when we arrived. Animal Emergency was very sympathetic and apologetic for our loss. We were devasted but grateful for all they said and did during our family crisis. Although we hope to not return to Animal Emergency anytime in the near future we do highly recommend them. They were wonderful! Scott B

Sandra Young

I can not speak highly enough of the staff, while on vacation one of our dogs who was an older dog started having violent seizures these folks were there when we needed them. Once we knew there was nothing more to be done, we made that difficult decision. They gave us all the time we needed and then some. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone that has a need during the evening and overnight hours

Anna Henry

Excellent, caring staff & service

Eric Stein

Thank you for the outstanding service that your clinic and staff provided while we were away from home!! It was very much appreciated, and the Strand is so lucky to have a resource like this fine establishment.

Dr Davis and staff made my Christmas Miracle possible. After 2 days of trying to find out what was wrong with my 7 month old kitty I walked into Animal Emergency Hospital and they took control of my little guy's destiny. Earlier that day I had actually prepared a grave for Rider, as I was told that he was not going to make it. As I was digging his grave, I asked for a miracle. He was just so young and brought so much joy, it was breaking my heart to think i I was going to lose him. The moment I walked into the hospital I was greeted by friendly smiles and the process began to get Rider the help he needed. It was a team effort, info taken and entered into the computer quickly so the process of evaluating and planning his treatment could begin. Dr Davis and her staff kept my little guy overnight and worked their healing magic. When I arrived the next morning I found Rider looking and acting like his cute little self! I cannot say enough about how they made me feel, and when I left him in their care that night I knew he was right where he needed to be. Thank you so much. I have never written a review for anything before this, but I cannot let this opportunity pass to get the message out there. This is the best place to get excellent care and compassion for both you and your pets. P.S. I planted a miniature Christmas tree in that unneeded hole in the ground!

I brought my dog there because he had diarrhea. They gave him a huge syringe of antibiotics and another of probiotics. They cut his nails. They also gave him IV fluid as we were leaving and failed to tell me, they just added it to my bill. They said if he is still not well in 24 hours, bring him back. They never tested for parasites, weird. He was acting in pain and I asked the tech, what's wrong with him. He's not right. She said it's the IV fluid. I asked for side effects that I should look for and she said none, its IV fluid. I was confused but, ok. We reluctantly left. I tried to give Nebo the medicine but had to hide it in dog pockets. It was messy. Why couldn't they give me a powder or compound it to a treat? I had to buy three bags of pockets to make sure he took his med, very expensive and needless. The whole night he couldn't walk. His right foot was injured. I called them that evening and informed them of the issue. I was told to give it some time and see how he does because they cut his nails. I felt put off and that something was wrong. In the morning I took Nebo out, he still couldn't walk, he was limping. I took him back, less than 12 hours. They made me wait 5 hours and said that they did nothing wrong and gave him a pain shot. Plus charged me for additional pain meds. No xray, no questioning the tech who cut the nails. They told me that they provided a free exam and I should be satisfied with that. But that is their policy anyway if one returns in 24 hours. They were dis respectful of my time and devalued my concerns and Nebos foot injury, plus he still had diarrhea. I will never go back to this joke of a place. They play games and don't take their job or pets that are hurting seriously. They could have been better at several points of care, however, they missed the mark. Pet care is expensive. I don't have time or money to play on my pets health! I would have given no stars but they were open on the weekend. I'll drive far to avoid this place.

Jason Caulder

Excellent staff! Kind and caring and very informative. Our 16 year old Jack Russell had suffered from heat exhaustion and was in bad shape. It was a Saturday, so they were the only vet open. They were very supportive and got her on the right track! We are forever thankful for what they did for us!

Megan Maggard

On a Sunday this past month my kitten was found in our front yard in shock. She looked to have been attacked. I was in a panic and headed from shallotte to myrtle beach to the only open animal hospital. Money was tight at the moment and I didn’t qualify for a care credit card. I gave the doctor everything I had and that was for euthanasia costs and a few other tests. This angel came to me and said he’d watch her over night and would call me if she needed to be laid to rest. 4 days later she came home I had to syringe feed her and lay her on puppy pads. She couldn’t move. 10 days after her attack he started walking!! She is now almost back to her old self but a few quirks. I cannot thank this hospital enough for everything they did for our Harper!! I would recommend anytime!!

Jeff Fitzwater

Cold-Hearted. All they wanted was money. I had to pay in advance before they would do CPR on my dog. Will never go back

Sara Edmonds

The staff is caring, efficient, and makes sure you understand what is happening during the entire process. I was put at ease during this very stressful situation.

Caitlins Chrismas Channel

They were there for me and my dogs illness. Unfortunately he passed due to a tumor that burst. Greatest dog i've ever had. He's name was hamlet

Melissa Baines

Kind of high but very helpful and great medical care for my pets.

Michelle Phillips

Outstanding service and care from the staff and doctor. My fur baby was terminal when I arrived and didn't make it but they made the transition smooth and easy. Super kind staff, I'm grateful I chose this facility for my girls last moments

Me 2

Chris was the supervisor on shift on wed. Aug 7th, and let me say I've never met a more professional and Courteous person in the vet field. She made me feel confident in the services I required, thank you so much for having such a great employee! I will definitely recommend your establishment to everyone. She should get a raise or at least a healthy bonus!

ben Taylor

Great place to take your pet in emergency, our little dog was sick on Sunday and we were 300 miles from home, they took fantastic care of her with the medicine she needed, very happy campers here

Nick Tantillo

What a wonderful staff. We had an emergency on Thanksgiving night and our dog had to have emergency surgery. We arrived at the vet and within 30 minutes they were prepping our baby for life saving surgery. He spent the next 2 days recovering and we were allowed to visit him several times and the staff was very accommodating to us. I would highly recommend this facility.

Adam Kuryea

I can not say enough good things about these people. DR brain rakauskas and staff are so beyond amazing! Not only did they save our fur baby’s life. They made us feel so comfortable with them! They truly care about animals you can tell it’s not about the money to them! I hope no one ever gets in the situation that they have to go to an emergency vet but if you do. Don’t think twice about this place. Thank each and ever one of you from the bottom of our hearts! -Adam, Maggie, and Bandit

Tasha Reynolds

The staff here is amazing! Everyone that I have encountered here all have one thing in common of nothing else, and that’s making sure your pet is well taken care of and gets the help it needs. I’ve been to a couple of animal hospitals but none compare to this one.

Donna Colorio

They took very good care of our dog! Kind and caring!

Mel B

I am so thankful for the compassionate and professional care provided by the staff and veterinarians at this clinic! I have taken my Pomeranian there on two separate occasions, and I would not hesitate to take any of my pets there in an emergency. Not only did they treat and save my little friend twice, they also made sure I was well informed of what was going on with him. I also received great instructions for the further care he needed, once he was discharged. I'd give them ten stars, if it was an option!

Amber Rigsbee

Our dog was very sick and I looked up emergency vets online and found these guys! Thank God I did they were amazing and reasonably priced considering how many labs they had to do and all the meds he needed and the 24hr stay supervised! And just like that 24 hrs later our dog is 100% better and back to his normal self! highly recommend this place!

Kate Butterworth

Great emergency vet. Nice staff.

Laura Welch

Very knowlegable doctors and staff. The only place I'd go for my after hours vet needs. Thanks for all you do!

Teri Coyne

Very nice caring staff! Took great care with my fur baby.

MEGHAN KAPP

We had to bring our cat here when she experienced difficulty breathing. Although there were people ahead of us, they quickly took her back when they saw her condition. Unfortunately, she passed away due to CHF. It was a huge shock and my husband and I were devastated. The staff members and vet here were very compassionate and gave us plenty of time to say goodbye and answer all the questions we had. I think they tried everything in their power to save her.

Analise Godfrey

Our dog Bubba was bit by a copperhead last week and we could not be more impressed with the care he received during his over night stay. They were quick to get Bubba back and Dr. Rakauskas was very caring and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Thankfully Bubba received antivenin quickly and has made a full recovery. We will be back if either of our dogs has another medical emergency.

Nappy

Considering it’s a emergency hospital and I can’t even take my cat there without paying money lol what kinda emergency is that

Kim May

There is never a 'good' experience in an emergency with your pet, but we were treated kindly and professionally by the staff in making a tough decision for my sister's dog. I would definitely bring my own pets here in a time of urgency.

Beverly Hall

My 2 year old Maltese was very sick with vomiting and diarrhea and getting very lethargic. Being the weekend everything was closed. I googled emergency vets and the Emergency Animal Hospital of the Strand came up. At 1:30 am we brought her there. The staff was amazing and Dr. Cousins took really good care of her. They gave her an IV and antibiotics as well as prescriptions to come home with! I highly recommend this Emergency hospital!

Robert Steen

Excellent! All around, Excellent.

Dana Valent

What an amazing compassionate Staff. Without getting into too many details our kitten was suffering from poisoning Due to Frontline I put on her. We went in frantic on a Sunday. The lady who helped us was just amazing. She was so helpful and put me and my two young children who were very very upset at some ease. I’m so happy to say our kitten is doing great

Wendy Farra

While this isn't the place I wanted to end up at late on a Saturday night with my chocolate lab, but I'm glad we decided to rush to this hospital. Although there was nothing they could do for him, after he had a stroke, they were the most caring staff I have ever ran across. They gave us all the time in the world we needed to say our goodbyes to our fur baby. They assured us he would be cared for after we left. That meant the world to me since I felt I lost part of my world that night. Thank you guys so much for everything! You're amazing!!!!

Paul Dierks

The worst experience ever. It cost nearly $650 for an incorrect diagnosis of kidney failure. If I was to admit the family member, for just over 2000$ they could easily make that member expire. If I were to fully explain the behaviors and value of that vet degree, you would never entrust your beloved pets to these dangerous and senseless people.

Joseph Kalce

Good people

Riley Morris

I cannot thank Dr. Hooker, and Dr. Lucius and their staff enough for the care of my 16 year old cat, Louie. My cat broke his femur on a Sunday evening in February. We took him to the Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand where x-rays where taken and we found out that his femur was indeed broken. Dr. Hooker and the staff were kind, gentle and informative about the surgery that was needed to repair the femur. We made 12 calls to every local veterinarian within the area to perform the emergency surgery necessary to repair Louie's femur. Every office I called said they couldn't get Louie in for days. Dr. Hooker advised us that if no one locally (Dr. Hooker's other office is located in Dillon) could perform the surgery the next day, he would do it in Dillon. We called and Dr. Hooker fit us in and performed the surgery that day. The follow up and calls throughout this process to Dr. Hooker and Dr. Lucius have been caring and detailed regarding Louie's surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Hooker, Dr. Lucius and the Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand as well as Dillon Animal Hospital to any pet parent.

Tiffany Grissett

I was so glad they were open when I needed them the most in the wee hours.A very compassionate group of people at this hospital. They gave me all the time i needed to decide on what to do about my beloved fur baby Chi'Chi with no rush.I had plenty of time to say my goodbyes and they took care off the rest.Im so grateful for them during that time.Thank you!!You will never know how much that meant to me

Carla Weaver

Awesome staff and Doctors!! Called me a few days after to check on my cat !! Caring people.

Cactus Man

I felt well taken care of with my sick family member "roxy" my baby girl pit mix

Wendy Floyd

Great staff. They took great care of my baby.

Joe Riccardi

Great staff..friendly

Phyllis Cribb

Dr. Rhodes and her assistant Kim were awesome. My 14 year old Yorkie was not eating and lethargic. We took her in and they immediately started tests, etc. We found out her glucose level was extremely elevated and she is diabetic. We are so thankful. Great office staff also.

Tania McDuffie

Great experience. Staff was so nice and helpful. Kim was great with my baby (black lab) and even let my 11 year old listen to her heart! Great place with reasonable prices for an emergency vet!!

Katie McGivney

Very kind. Took my sick pup in for an impromptu trip an hour before they closed. Pricing was reasonable as well.

Adrien Royce

The GREATEST group of knowledgeable and compassionate medical professionals! Please do not hesitate when your beloved fur baby is in any serious way not him/herself and your wonderful (and my regular vet is!) happens to not be open—do not risk waiting even if you’re thinking-“gosh my vet will be in tomorrow morning —l’ll save some money by waiting...” do not risk it if in your gut you know your pet needs care that is beyond your previous experience — sometimes we have to admit our pet needs more than we can give them... this is the place and these are the people to call. From the receptionist to the assistants and the doctors. Very grateful to know they’re here in MB! They took such good care of my Senior dog just a few nights ago. Right diagnosis. Right meds. Perfect experience at an ER for my (of course) perfect dog!

yvonne fox

I brought in my little dog that was running a fever and was not eating. The vet was upfront about her chances of survival. She only weighs 4 pounds. They closely monitored her and did surgery like the skilled vets they are. They kept a close eye on her and responded when there were complications. As a result she is now her spunky little self and healthy as can be. I recommend her to anyone that needs an expert emergency vet.

Kat Rae

It’s taken me a couple months to figure out the best way to write this review. Back in June, my family and I had to make the heart wrenching decision to have our sweet 15 yr old German Shepherd put down. We had decided to go to AEHS because the vet that I currently worked for was closed and she was in pretty bad shape. I wish now more than ever I would’ve called one of the doctors I had worked for to do it for us. My mother was an absolute wreck. So I had to do most of the talking, which was very hard while fighting back tears. The receptionist was the nicest person out of the whole building. Very sweet and comforting. When we finally got into the hospital the techs wanted to take our pup straight back to the treatment area and place an IV catheter. By the look on my moms face I knew she wasn’t quite ready. So I asked if we could see the doctor first, just to have some peace of mind that we were making the right decision. (Mind you I know how busy an animal hospital can be) but with a suffering dog, I wasn’t very happy. It took over an hour for Dr. Hooker to come into the room. He went over her over all health in a few short minutes and with no bed side manner told my parents that the best decision was to put her down, and explaining that we could pay hundreds on diagnostics and meds and still have a similar outcome. My mother became more upset and nearly inconsolable. This had me pretty upset because I come from a hospital that explains things kindly and respectfully. I asked several questions to make sure he was going to perform this in a way that I was used to. He talked down to me the whole time until I mentioned where I had worked. Then proceeded to give us an estimate for $500. Cremation and home burial were the only options which I found unbelievable. Most place offer communial burial as an alternative (Home burial was not an option for us for where we lived). He gave us a bit of time to say our final goodbyes. He came back into the room and gave her the sedative. Waited, maybe 2 minutes and then gave the injection of euthasol. She was gone before we were even ready. It was the most tramadic experience for my whole family. He was so unsympathetic and in a hurry the whole time. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Euthanasia in itself is an extremely hard decision to make. So to be so careless and quick about it was not what I ever could have imagined. This was the first time we ever had to do this with a family pet and now I will always associate this experience very negatively. Again, I come from an animal hospital where we receive thank you cards after having clients pets put to sleep because we have always handled these situations with much care and compassion. All I have to say is that I hope no one else experiences anything like this and that this review will help someone not make the same mistake that I did by going here.

Brandon M

Helpful and compassionate staff. The charge for the emergency visit was fair considering it was after hours. Would recommend them to anyone.

Anthony Ferriero

Horrible place . They take complete advantage of the unfortunate circumstances. Outrageous prices of care and drugs. They have no compassion for owners. All about the money.

Jessica Fucsko

Wonderful and knowledgeable Helped me numerous times! Pricing is as expected with an EMERGENCY CLINIC but WELLL within reason! Thank you guys!

Dawn Risner

I recently had to take my very sick dog Gracie to the emergency hospital . I was loverwhelmed by their kindness and gentleness with her . I am fairly knowledgeable re: animal care etc ,but I was at a total loss ,however Dr Davis and Dr Rak knew immediately the tests that needed to be done to arrive at a diagnosis . Dr Hooker the owner of the hospital was available to consult also . I am forever grateful to the whole staff , doctors and technicians . Gracie is more then my dog , she's my best friend ,constant companion and a very important family member ! Thank you Animal Emergency Hospital of the Strand ! Gracie is feeling much better !

Shamaica Snow

Thanks for helping my pup. Very expensive.

Nicole B

I brought my cat in not knowing I was going to leave without him. They comforted me, gave me all the time I needed with him and did everything I asked, as well as all my questions. They made us feel like family and we had never been there before. They put a beautiful flower on his box and gave me a print of his paw without charge. They treated my old man so wonderfully, and if it wasn’t for one of the wonderful assistant vets (brown hair, glasses, 9 cats), I would not have been able to get through it as well as I unexpectedly did. Thank you to everyone who took care of us. I appreciate it beyond explanation.

Angela DeRosa

We were visiting Myrtle Beach from about three hours away and our beautiful Russian Boxer female went into labor. She was doing well on her own at first but needed some help. We visited the animal hospital twice with in a matter of hours in the middle of the night. The staff and Dr were amazing. Roxy had to have a c-section to deliver the last two babies, but she did great. Sadly, 48 hours after her delivery, the runt of the litter (and the only girl) started to have breathing problems and she had to be brought back twice. We rushed her back to the animal hospital. She didn't make it, but the staff tried everything and they were so understanding and sensitive. Thanks for making our vacation drama better and helping us through it!
