REVIEWS OF Family Medicine Associates of So. Attleboro IN Rhode Island

I've been going to the South Attleboro location for four years, now. Everyone I have encountered has been kind and considerate. The only issue I have is that I forgot to book my annual wellness exam right after I had my daughter, and there were no appointments available for five months! However, whenever I need to see the doctor for a sick visit, they are able to get me in same day or the very next day.

Bill Giroux

Very unprofessional. Receptionist and medical assistants are obnoxious, rude and loud. Witnessed them bantering back and fourth very loudly and making Facebook videos. Nice that while the fun is going on they leave patients standing at the window waiting so they can continue their conversations. It’s good to have fun, but please contain yourselves to the office and stop putting on a show for the waiting area to witness. Maybe even transfer some of your laughter to patient service with a smile

I been seeing Dr. Trull as my family doctor for the past 5 years. I was surprised to read negative reviews on complaints that have nothing to do with your health. I personally never experienced any of these complaints from these reviews before. I have enjoyed the staff, old and new. The staff has been very flexible with my schedule and responsive to my questions. I really enjoyed the electronic portal where I can have asynchronous communication with the doctor and nurse with questions about my health or follow up discussions from a visit. They do a great job keep your medical history, comments and trends about your health. I find both the doctor and the staff very professional when I see them and they always go the extra mile to make sure I can be heal when I'm sick and provide consultation to stay healthy.

Been with them for almost 3 years. I missed one doctor's appointment that had been made 2 months prior without any notification or reminder and I end up receiving a letter that they have cancelled my insurance because I didn't show up. Incredible.

Jessica Fedorka PA is AMAZING! She is so kind, knowledgeable and attentive. She always gets back to me promptly and if remembers little details . If she ever leaves I’m going with her! I would change the staff at the front desk. They are not kind at all but I will keep coming back for Jessica!

Dr. Chris Garofalo is a wonderful doctor. I started seeing him when I was pregnant and he has become our family doctor now. I appreciate how he provides holistic care to our whole family; from pregnancy to birth to primary care. He takes the time to listen and provides thoughtful insight rather than just direction.

I've been going to the South Attleboro office for over 25 years. I've had Dr Stein as my PCP for over 11 years. He's a kind, compassionate and caring doctor. The women at the front desk are always polite and helpful. I don't understand what these other people are talking about. If they want doctors who are caring try and make an appointment with Dr Stein.

The most unprofessional office I have ever had to deal with and I work in the pharmacy so I deal with plenty. You are never able to speak to a person as the operator instantly sends you to the "medical assistant's" voice-mail and if they finally do call you back [hours later] it's just to ask questions as to why you called in the first place and then they say they will call you back again. Great system. Also, if you're lucky enough to schedule an appointment, be prepared for them to tell you you actually don't have an appointment when you do show up for your scheduled time. Instead they send away an 87 year old patient who was recently discharged from the hospital for heart issues because "there's no record of her appointment." Those doctors truly care about their patients, right? Need a referral? Give the medical assistant 2 months and maybe they'll get it done for you because "they're busy." You're right, I didn't need the MRI, the doctor was only joking. And be prepared for them to tell you they did something such as a referral and lo and behold, it was never done! I don't know how this place still has patients.

Am looking for a doctor. And just by reading the reviews. It looks like this can't be my place.

I have never been more satisfied when going go to the doctors. Family Medicine Associates has a fantastically great staff. The doctors are some of, if not, the best I've every interacted with. They talk to you, ask you questions, and most importantly LISTEN to what you say. Then they look for the best way to help you. I've had to see many doctors because of issues I deal with and the only PCP that really listened to what I said was Dr. Lee. She didn't just read my file and make a decision how to treat me. She sat down and talked to me and heard what I said before making a treatment plan. As for the staff, I can't say enough about how pleasant and helpful they are. I have never had any problems that they haven't tried to help me with and they usually are successful. I would recommend Family Medicine associates to everyone I know and everyone I don't know. You'll not find a better place for what ever your medical needs.

Just moved to the area and Dr. Trull at Family Medicine was the first Doctor I found that I could take public transportation to in my health network. I have since gotten my car back and am considering extending my doctor search. I am really not sure of what to think of the practice or my doctor. She takes a long time getting back to me, "does not work Mondays or Fridays" (wow, nice schedule!). I recently asked her if she was experienced enough to handle some of my pressing medical concerns which she does not seem like advocating for me or assisting me with. Pretty much all she talks about is how Blue Cross Blue Shield wants her to keep all specialists and referrals in "network" regardless if there are more qualified specialists that take my health insurance. I always have to wait in the waiting room (with terrifyingly rude medical receptionists who whip their conversation windows open only after asking me standing in front of them for five minutes.) They take an hour lunch break in the short hours of the day the Office is open leaving a small window of opportunity to seek their services. My Doctor has not returned my message over a pressing, extreme medical problem for over a week. As I titled this review I am not sure what to think... It took so long to get my medical records transferred here it seems a pain to switch doctors, but I may have to. Has anyone been severely neglected by Family Medical Associates of South Attleboro? I am sure there are stories out there.

I give it 5 stars simply because Pam Difiori, NP is the best! I made her my primary care as soon as I could. She has a warm spirit and takes the time to listen and get to know you. Every time I see her for an appointment she gives me a big hug, I love it. She is easy to talk to and very thorough in her exams, lab work, and communication. The office could have a hole in the roof and I'd still give her 5 stars.

Rose Brederson

The receptionist L. has got to be the rudest woman alive. Her compassion level is minus 10 and really should be banned from answering the phone. Its no wonder your seeking new patients.

Rhonda Degrafts

Well Idk how this place stays open after all the reviews I've read. I will keep searching

I have been with this practice over 15 years and they have been the best up until this year with a few new staff. I have never encounter s problem until this year as maybe my Dr has too many patients and as easy as it is is I can't and have been trying to get PT1 forms filled out and I now have heart issues, pulmonary issues, had back surgery, Fibtomyalgia, and other life threaten issues. I'm taken PT can barely walk anymore and something was related to me that I couldn't believe my doctor said "I will get them done on my spare time as I have no patients that require transportation and need those forms" scary I'm missing my appointments and broke from paying for rides and now just had a near fatal accident can hardly move, and no transportation as car totaled, relying on God to keep me alive as I can't even change Drs and starting to feel like I'm bugging them and they don't care if I change Dr or leave. I have never had these problems and love my Dr M. Garafolo and her Husband Chris who took care of my children now their children and them all grown. It's Sad how the best can go sour!!! Praying for changes ASAP the front desk N. Attlebor staff are the best!!!

Great medical staff

I've been coming here for years and have really never had a bad experience! The staff is very helpful and friendly. EVERYONE goes above and beyond. Evening hours, walk-in hours, Saturday hours, the online portal....all great! I actually relocated for a new job....all the way to CT and still drive up here for my appointments! AND they don't take my health insurance! THAT is how wonderful this office is. To those with complaints....you should say who you are and relay your specific experience. In this day and age...it's too easy to misrepresent yourself. I've seen people lose their jobs because someone had a grudge and made false complaints. I can't blame the office for wanting full information to be able to make a decision about an employees performance. I'm confident that your personal info would be kept private as long as your complaint was valid.

I don't know what makes the receptionists so miserable here but there's not one time that I've had a good experience with them. Theyre always extremely rude and act like people are interuppting there conversation when they just needed to check in for an appointment. I went in last month to a line at the front desk so I sat down to wait and one of them rudely whips open the window and tells me to go to the other receptionist. I walked up to the window and got IGNORED for LITTERALLY 5 to 7 minutes before I sat back down and she whips the window open and sarcastically says "can I help you" like I wasn't just standing there. Also waited for an hour for my 9am appointment. I like my doctor but not worth the hassle.

I stopped in today looking for the lab, when I walked in I heard a loud bunch of woman having a conversation..they were behind the counter I never saw them I only heard them, while waiting patiently for someone to acknowledge me a lady came from a different area once the phone rang and promptly answered the phone saying she had no idea where the doctor was , I know she is here I let her in but I have no idea where she went....all the while I am still waiting while these woman are laughing having a great time behind the wall STILL waiting...someone else walked in and she got the same treatment. I left furious and very upset that not one person gave a care who was walking in HOW UNPROFESSIONAL I just cant believe it. Someone should of been at the desk greeting people at least acknowledge them when they walk in ...I will stick with my doctor Thank you very much!!!

Called to make an appointment today. I was mistaken about one of the doctor's specialty. Instead of just telling me the person who answered was very rude and even yelled at me.

Jennifer Rombalski

All in all I like them. I'm relatively new, so knock on wood, I've had good experiences with them this far. Dr. Trull is very professional and extremely helpful!

Best Drs office ever

K M T

Regardless of what people have to say about the staff, I've never had a problem. My experience with my PCP, Dr. Sousa, has been exceptional over many years. I go to this office because of her two locations, this one is most convenient to me. It's also kept clean, easy parking and has a lab on-site. I'm happy.
