I've transported my Father to the VA facility in State College on several occasions. All staff are extremely friendly and helpful. His PA is AMAZING and just had a great experience with Crystal, his audiologist. Thank you for all you do for our veterans!

Completely neglects veterans. Out of the multiple times I've tried to deal with this medical center they've constantly redirected me to other people back and forth, hung up on me, or given me unwarranted attitude. I scheduled an initial appointment a month in advance and they waited until the day of my appointment to tell me the doctor cancelled on me and that I would have to reschedule. You would think that they'd have someone come in for him and say "Oh, Dr.Whoever is out today? Okay, I'll take all of his patients." The State College Outpatient Clinic is the epitome of why this country needs VA Reform.

I went to the clinic to get an appointment to check blood pressure. I was seen right away and the nurse could not have more careing. She spent a lot of time going over stress concerns that might elevate blood pressure. She explained how to take my own blood pressure at home accurately. Great service and unexpected.

Horrible patient care. Have had MRIs done on my shoulder and back. Weeks went by so I assumed there was nothing major to worry about. The pain was persistent so I decided to call them. The response, “Ohhh yeah looks like you have a tear in the shoulder that’s going to need surgery and 5 bulging discs in your thoracic spine.” Would not recommend to any service member who has the ability to go somewhere else. Very rude as well.

I have been using the VA. clinic in State Collage since I retired and have had no problems. I have used the VA Chose 2 time last at there suggestion so I didn't have to drive to Pittsburgh.
