I had a surgery this is my family doctor the orthopedic surgeon put me on pain medication for two months resulting in my body becoming addicted to the medicine. The orthopedic referred me back to my family doctor who referred me to pain management this pain management refused to treat me as a patient and stated " this soon after surgery they should not have sent you to me I cannot treat you for another 3 months" I was referred back to my family doctor "geisinger frackville Pa" who i go to the desk and ask what am I to do? I just need to be weened off this medication queen I don't take it I get very sick.I don't understand why I am not getting help you are my family doctor is this what happens patients get surgery and they are just cut off there medication that you guys put us on abruptly and forced into a drug and alcohol Rehab or worse these patients turn to street drugs? Women at the frackville clinic responds in quote" yes that's what we do" and that's it I'm off to figure it out on my own . Terrible place no wonder why the heroine epidemic is so bad in Schuylkill county they get paid to do these surgeries then get you hooked than cut you off out of nowhere.
