This Hospital corresponds to the category of Urgent care center.
I delivered my first baby there and everyone was so patient and genuine and caring! The nurses were so kind! They really tried to make sure I was able to have the best experience possible. Everyone treated us so great! They made sure I was comfortable and felt safe. Everyone was very reassuring and helpful. It was a super positive experience and I am so grateful to everyone there!
The overall care here is impeccable. All interactions have been nothing but pleasant and comforting. Staff members go above and beyond to provide the best level of care for their patients. I feel at ease knowing that my mom is being taken care of here at Easton Hospital. This hospital deserves a lot more recognition! Especially the nurses in ICU. They are so loving and compassionate; it is easy to tell that they love what they do.
Absolutely the worst trip to any hospital I've been to in my entire life. The staff, including the doctor himself were just down right disrespectful and inconsiderate.
I went in wasn't busy I told the Dr and nurse I thought my heel was broken they ran xrays I waited almost two hrs before they came back in and said I had a sprained ankle they put an air cast on which killed me more two weeks went by swelling didn't go down it was bruised still I then went to st luke's and found out my heel was broken and bc I walked on it for two weeks I had another broken bone. Smh terrible I'd say.
I recently had my baby here, and I cannot rave enough about the staff who took care of me and my little girl. Everyone was so friendly, and so caring. I really felt very comfortable with all the nurses, doctors, and techs who were with me thoughout my entire stay. I can't thank them enough!!
I have called in and asked to speak with the doctor. “Not available”. I ask to be called. No call. I call in advance and ask to meet with speech therapist and the patient. She is “Not available”. The nurse Natalie, (on the 4th floor), on duty scolds me, not once, but twice, when she comes into the room, because I walked away from her after she gave me information a few minutes prior..I though she was done. I didn't like the way she spoke to me , at all! You can’t get answers or information, but when they want to speak with you, they call you 3-5 times in a row. My mom passed away here in 2002. They didn’t do much for her then either.
I dont have a picture yet...the people here are ( most of them ) are very nice amd sweet to you
I'd be better off going to a VMD for treatment then this crap hole. Incompetent staff. The place is also filled with degenerate welfare recipients .
Fast and efficient ER treatmemt.
Went to radiology to get 4 panel X-Ray of left shoulder. Very quick and efficient from registration to X-Ray and out in about 20 minutes.
Currently in hospital for diverticulitis. Been here since Saturday morning. Confused from different drs. Nurse leader asked if anyone helped me get cleaned up today, i said no. Nurse asst comes in says "I put washcloths and gown there," no offer of help. I am hooked up to iv. Easy to offer opioids, but have to go thru who knows to get an ativan for anxiety. So far, MAYBE one star.... and am probably stuck here for at least two more days. These reviews probably aren't even checked....
It's a good hospital in general people how complain don't know the politics that goes around hospitals. People Complain about low staffing well you guys should stop complaining and talk to your local representatives to fund hospital and more public ade so people can get the proper health care treatment
I have always gone to Easton Hospital, always have always will. My mother worked at Easton Hospital for years, she had all her children there (6) and we in turn have had all our children here.
Billing department rude and incompetent. Get everyones name and extention. Get everything explicitly in writing. They WILL do everything they can to not do their job and hold off so its too late to update insurance then bounce to collections. BEWARE
The only problem is the take you in the back and leave you in the room for hours all in pain before the Doctors come and see you that would make a person leave and go to another hospital were there service is quicker and better they need a better system when you come to the emergency...if i have a medical problem were i come or go to Easton Hospital again ?????
Horrible hospital although some of the staff were nice it was overall a nightmare of an experience for me rude staff docter accused me of not feeding my newborn baby it was terrible never ever going there again!!!!!!
They are excellent and friendly everyone there is go kind and generous
I was not seen by a doctor, but rather by a "Physician's assistant" who told me she couldn't do much for me. I came in with severe menstrual cramps and a migraine with a history of migraines and miscarriage. I was given nothing for pain until they gave me the discharge papers (hours later), even though I had came in for pain and told several nurses what I had already taken and that the pain didn't respond to the tylenol, advil, aleve or aspirin and reported a pain level of 8-9. They offered me aleve and when I told them I had tried that already, they told me there was nothing else they could do for me and told me I was "refusing" their medication and would get nothing stronger- as if I was some kind of a junkie or something. On top of that, the nurses didn't listen to me. She cut me off and never allowed me to fully explain my issues or history. The nurse and physician's assistant then clearly forgot everything I had told them. They also mixed me up with the next bed and attempted to check my glucose number until I told them that that didn't make sense and that I thought the next bed over was there for a high blood sugar number. And sure enough, that was who needed the test. No one came to check on me or ask how my pain level was. No one even checked my urine to see if I might be pregnant or have a UTI or how hydrated I was (standard at real hospitals) and no one gave me an IV even though I know that I was very dehydrated. I was not provided with care at this hospital and was insulted by being given my discharge papers while still in tears and writhing with pain. Don't waste your time. This "hospital" is a joke.
Very bad experience went there today for gall bladder pain an throwing up was there almost 3 hours an they told me I had a stomach bug , but they only did blood work an urine sample an a chest ex Ray didn't do a ultra sound of my gull bladder I have been diagnostic several times for my gall bladder an they didn't take me seriously worst hospital ever gave me zofran for throwing up an sent me home I had to go to another er for relive from my pain
Excellent hospital, very professional, stay in for one night, very helpful nurses ,the best care.
Extremely dirty bathrooms. Rushed treatment/diagnosis. They never go the extra mile or care enough to check all bases before diagnosing you. Please do not go to this hospital!
Very good quick care in the er
Worst hospital in the Lehigh valley staff is not professional smart mouthed & Ignorant!!!
Very poor staff communication. Doctors do not fulfill orders. Very bad experience.
They have physician assistants here who act as doctors they quickly push out the door. You not properly treated and have to come multiple visits to get the correct diagnosis. Look at the badges every time you come you will see a nurse the head person in the ER Ian is a RN. They're very nasty when you ask them to explain things because they aren't doctors they don't know. They racing to get multiple visits this hospital needs to be investigated by the state NOT PROPERLY EVALUATING PATIENTS. Ashley Souza Is not a doctor loud talks so loud so other patients can hear you person business. Bedside manners ,none. When you take test they don't wait for results they give a script and rush out the door. A throat culture take 30minutes please we want to be in out but correctly diagnosed
Had some lab work done there, and it was done very professionally and the lab tech, I forgot her name, she was very polite and kind of funny. This was the hospital I was born in, and ever since then, I myself have been getting very good care here. The lehigh valley has good hospitals, just choose one, they're all good, but this hospital stands out to me, it's not as big as the other ones, and its like family there. Thank you for everything, Easton Hospital!
Was very busy so I was there for a long time probably 5 hours the nurses were very attentive couldn't ask for better
Friendly staff
Worst hospital ever. They cost me a finger.
Dr Perry was unprofessional and rude I was just there today and he was completely disrespectful to me and my husband
Had a mammo and MRI done at the hospital and at Forks Plaza. Staff was quick and caring!! Had same procedures at other hospitals and to my surprise Easton was the best! Big isn't always better!
Very poor customer service in the ER. Came in with a shattered bone in my rt calve and the receptionist said "we don't have any wheelchairs, you'll have to HOP on your other leg
Visited Health and Wellness center for the walk-in care. Paid my copay and was treated. No complaints there. However, I was then sent to collections for a $15.28 charge that I was never made aware of prior to it being sent to collections.
Place is rude nurse checking my daughter to see if she is dilated with no other nurse or doc in room. Waited 4 an a half hours for a doctor that never showed up thank god my grandson didn't come cuz there was no one to deliver him
This hospital has very poor customers service they dont have enough working
Nice local hospital not very far from my daughter`s home. When she needed help luckily everything went well.
Always leave with a good experience from here no complain here
Had bloodwork done there and a jaw scan. Loved it! Exceptionally friendly and efficient staff, was done in less than 30 minutes - unheard of for any medical visits anywhere else. Would use them again in a heartbeat!
Highly competent and professional staff with experience in Emergency Department.
Average local hospital. Try to do a good no. EXCELLENT ER
Came here last night with two sick children after being sick for a couple of days and been back and forth to the doctors office twice they diagnose issue promptly and gave me what they needed right then and there and everyone was extremely nice.
I have always gotten the best care and thank entire staff you are a blessing
I was in for an operation on the 25 the of this monthI would like to thank the entire staff.Theywere all very nice and treated well, The Doctor's explained in detail what to expect before during, and after my operation. The food service was very friendly and had my meals ready for me after my operation, I didn't have to call. I was born in Easton Hospital and I will continue to go there. Thank you again
I went to the ER due to a laceration on my finger. I'm used to waiting in most ERs for around 3-4 hours. I was checked in with registration within minutes, then immediately had my vitals checked and went to triage. I was amazed at how quickly the physician assistant came. She stitched me up and shortly after, I received my discharge paperwork . All that in less than 1.5 hours. Amazing! And what friendly medical staff as well!
Just gave birth to my son in the easton hospital a few days ago. The ladies working during my stay were so helpful and supportive they did everything they could to keep me comfortable. I was able to have the delivery I wanted because of the great team I had on my side that night and after I was taught how to successfully breastfeed so I could go home confident. I felt safe and well taken care of the whole time and was happy with how my son was treated as well he was even given a special little handmade hat that we love. Overall this was the best experience that it could have been and I am very appreciative of the labor and delivery staff who cared for us during our time there.
A few days ago my brother went to easton hospital and had tonsillitis he got surgery after that they put a tube in his throat after a day he signed himself out while leaving easton hospital he started coughing up blood and got to St Lukes anderson campus for this emergency. Do not go to easton hospital for anything they will possibly make you die and if a family member dose die in easton hospital care sue for malpractice. This hospital is unprofessional doctors should not even have licenses to practice who work at easton hospital.. it is short staffed with nurses and this place needs to be shut down so st lukes can own it.. Go to st lukes never easton hospital
Quick service
I went to the ER the other night with a cut to my face. I had never been to this hospital before. The admissions department took less than 5 minutes. At 815 pm I was seen two minutes after being admitted. I received excellent care. The staff was friendly and compassionate. My emergency experience was relatively pain free. Great job, Ashley, Ray, and Amanda! My wound is healing just fine. Thank you!
I came to the Dr with extensive head and behind the ear pain. The doctor ordered a chest x-ray. He came back saying my CT came back good. I didn't have an CT. The doctor released me. By Thursday I was at Warren hospital. I had worse pain, fever, throwing up blood just worse all around. With in 15 minutes I saw the doctor. He ordered a CT. As soon as it was back I had my answer. I have a severe case of mastoiditis.
Easton Hospital "checked" my insurance and assured me that 100% of their expenses would be covered by my plan. They then billed me $719. I came to Easton Hospital with a severe bladder infection on a Friday night - blood, fever, every textbook symptom. My last insurance provider covered all medically necessary ER visits with a $50 co-pay. I recently received new insurance through my employer, so I presented my insurance information to the medical receptionist upon my arrival and asked how much it would be to get an antibiotic prescription. She ran my insurance and assured me "your provider will cover 100% of these expenses." A month later I received a bill in the mail for $719. Seven hundred nineteen dollars for a simple antibiotic. Of the expenses billed, my insurance provider covered $3.97. Had I known my insurance wasn't going to cover anything, I would not have sought treatment. Easton Hospitals deceptive policies should be illegal. Avoid at all costs.
Had a horrible experience at the lab the other day. I'm a hard stick but no excuse for the way I was treated by the tech. First guy that tried was super nice but couldn't get my blood. He gave me a heat pack for my hand and went to tend to some other people. The girls name that came in next was Alecia. I could tell she was a monster from the second she looked at me. She was extremely rude and didn't listen to anything I said about the heat pack he gave me or how it's too hard to get blood from my arms. She got the largest needle out (which doesn't work on people with small veins). I walked out. She shouldn't be working with people. To not I went to lehigh valley Heath network the next day and they stuck me and got blood on the first try. I wouldn't recommend Easton hospital to anyone if those are they type of non professionals they hire.
Terrible experience. Case worker Lisa was extremely disrespectful. She ruined what otherwise was an ok experience.
I love the food in the cafeteria. It's a hospital so there isn't much do there if you aren't sick. I like walking around in there when it's hot. The ac unit they have is the best especially to have the soup in the summer.
Perhaps one of the worst hospitals in terms of billing - they OVERCHARGE ridiculous amounts and beware of SUPRISE BILLS. I was there for an ER visiting and left with over 25k in charges. Keep all records!
Steward medical is horrible they keep billing me for a preventative service as a diagnostic and they’re charging me $345 for something that was supposed to be for for free ! the whole billing department is screwed up! my insurance company was willing to pay but Easton Hospital Steward group submitted the claim improperly and now I am stuck !!
Went to the ER with my son complaining of left foot pain. Doc took an x-ray came back and said well it's not broken so maybe its just a lil muscle pain. So we believed her. I asked for a copy of the x-ray to show his primary doc when we go to follow up in a few days. Long story short my son's heel was broken in several places!! They let me leave with my child with a broken heel !! So for the next 2 days he was moving it all over and made it even worse !! Such negligence. !! It's a disgrace !
I have had nothing but fast and tip top service. All hospitals have their hits or misses. I’ve been to st LUKE’S and waited for 2 hours to be seen. Went to Lehigh valley hospital with a sick. Hold and waited just as much. Easton hospital saw me in under 20 minutes. Drs work hard and go for hours even 24 hours without sleep. I’m grateful for my care and even though it’s a bit of a drive for me, I will continue to take that drive
Had a great experience with the er, surgery team and the nurses to help me though my ailment
Easton
I had a recent sleep study at the Easton Sleep Facility. The staff there really made me feel good going thru the whole sleep study process. They where very considerate of my needs before, during and after the testng. Good place to go to if you need to be tested.
It is an ok hospital. I been here and it took a hour to get seen in the Emergency Room even when no one is there. Other times I was seen in minutes after registration.
Horrible service I don’t ever wanna come here again . Everyone had attitudes .
I went to the hospital with pain from the middle of my stomach that wrapped around to my back on the right side. The doctor ordered an ultrasound to check my gallbladder. I waited until the ultrasound tech got in and then after I was taken back to the ER I waited over another hour for a nurse to come in and tell me the ultrasound came back fine other than a polyp somewhere (her words) and that they were discharging me. I hadn’t seen another doctor after initially getting to the hospital and I left with no answers as to why I was having those pains. No further tests were done after the ultrasound came back normal, I was just sent on my way as if I was expected to let the problem just resolve itself.
Its alright i was happy i wasnt waiting for ever.
Some staff are good. Some of the nurses have bad people service and are rude. They sent my mom home the same night when bringing her to the hospital instead of keeping her in the hospital to monitor her, neglecting her medical history. The NEXT day she passed away. They said my mom had back spasms but back spasms doesn't kill people. Now I lost the closest person to me. One younger nurse was very rude to my mother and my family while their that night ignoring the pain my mom was in. When my mom passed in their hospital, there was one younger nurse that was very rude and unsympathetic to me after I heard the news of my mother's passing. They also mis'diagnosed my friend who had a serious illness also neglecting her past records. When receiving a patient and taking them under your care, doctors should be looking at the patients history. Negligence and Rude Staff!
FAST emergency service, good food, great staff!!
Absolute worst if you value your life dont go there if you can try to go to lehigh hospital. This hospital is a scam
I almost died!
I once questioned the capabilities of this hospital because it is small and unable to compete with the other larger hospitals in the area, But then I realized for such a small hospital, the staff is excellent! It is a shame that Easton does not have a trauma unit or burn center and they need to transfer patients! This hospital has better Doctors then the larger hospitals! I like the fact that it is clean as well!
I Came Here To See The Elevators. Typical Hospital But OMG The People Are So Nice Here!!
I visited the ER my Daughter 10/18/18 because she felt at the steps at our house. She hurts her left Ankle. They took a XRay and the Doctor said is Ankle Sprain. I had that experience before and my Doctor recommended keeping aout from my feet for one or two days. They never offered ice packs to my Daughter only one Ibuprofen. When the doctor discharges my Daughter I asked to the nurse for a note to take to School she responds with attitude and said ("Is more important to your Daughter go to the School she only has sprain Ankle."). (I don't think the Doctor gives you a note is not necessary.) She is so rude and I never asked her for any opinion about what's more important for my Daughter. I'm HOME HEALTH AIDE FOR MORE THAN 13 YEARS AND I KNOW ABOUT COMPATION AND HOW MAKE PEOPLE FEELS BETTER WHEN THEY SUFFER OR THEY ARE IN PAIN. this people needs to be more carefully with all patients They never offered to my Daughter a wheelchair when we trying to leave the hospital. I feeling so bad thinking how this Hospital still open and never trying to do something to change the POOR SERVICE.
Worst experience ever. Gave birth to my daughter here. While I had my cathiter in after recieving my epidural, it somehow disconnected or fell out of my body(which means it wasn't put in properly) the nurse came in and said "oh wow. good thing nobody slipped on that or we could have gotten sued!" then laughed. The nurse who also came in to put the needle in my back for the epidural had gotten so frustrated with me because I kept moving she threatened to leave! Mind you im in horrible pain with constant contractions & she threatened to walk out! Don't go here!
Very nice people work there. It should be more fully staffed because these good people work their tails off.
I was hospitalized in January. I had excellent care from the ED to discharge. I can't say enough about everyone who cared for me during my stay!!!!
You are shortstaffed. The facility is dirty. The nursing staff is overworked. And now I found out that you are getting rid of my cardiac doctors. What the hell is going on
Thanks for taking great care of me during my minor surgery. Everything was so efficient and we loved the screen in the waiting room which tells you what is happening with each patient and doctor. (The patients and loved ones are given a number, so there is no confidentiality breach). The nurses and doctors were extremely polite, compassionate, and knowledgeable.
I have gone to Easton hospitals Er several times I was disappointed (VERY) in the past,j I thought I would give it one more try. Well things went the way I thought. It happened to be the quickest er trip I have ever had 1/2 hour start to finish. Never saw a doctor only a PA. My Back was hurting so bad never did she think after I told her what was going on to do any tests. All she did was check my reflexs and give me 2 scripts and sent me home. WOW! Not any caring just get my money is all I thought. Next day went to St. Lukes anderson campus and there they gave me a cat scan that found I had sever arthritis in my back gave me totally different meds and before I left there pain was almost gone. Easton really needs to start from scratch somewhere to get things right. No docs looking at all the patients? Wow caring at its worst. I believe that will be the end of me using that er from now on even if it is only 5 miles from my house I will drive a little further to get better help and more caring. I would give it no stars from all the issues I have had with this hospital.
Went for an x-ray yesterday at 11:15 am and not one radiologist has read the x-ray and it's been almost 24 hours. Whether it's broken or not you would think they could get it read in a quicker mannor.
I had an excellent experience at Easton Hospital when delivering my daughter in 2016. The maternity staff was very attentive to my care and eased my nerves as a first time mom.
Denise at the Forks Township Easton hospital lab reception desk and Vickie (the phlebotomist, also at that location) are both excellent and efficient at their respective jobs, as well as friendly and courteous! Thank you for the wonderful service!
First let me say several years ago 2 wonderful doctors saved my life at this hospital so obviously NOT a disgruntled patient. However, since they have been purchased by Steward this place is a shell of what it used to be. A few months ago my son went to the ER complaining of severe head pain. They sent him home with NO treatment twice in a 24hr period. Finally went to St. Luke's where they did a cat scan and discovered a massive sinus infection. I posted about this and got a response from the guy in charge of the ER. I have to say he was very apologetic and convinced me to have faith and give it another try. I was still very leery because they have "hospitalists" instead of your own doctor being able to treat you. Unfortunately I was recently admitted. Nothing like before. Although my doctor admitted me I needed to be seen by their ER doctor and admitted by her. I had more blood work done even though I had just had it done there 4 hrs prior to justify my 31/2 hr fiasco. I explained from the minute I got there that if I was being admitted that was fine but if it was observation only forget it. I was assured by no less than 5 people that was the case. The next day after having a bunch of tests and blood work a hospitalist slips and said the doctor changed me from admitted to observation after they admitted me. Again I call the same guy and explain the situation. He seemed nice again. However, I get a call saying somewhere I signed paperwork. I explained the only thing I had was my cell and because I had no glasses I just asked them to explain everything I signed. Obviously honesty is not their strong suit. I haven't heard back yet so I guess we'll see. Since this is already long I won't go into detail now about all the stuff that happened while there. I will say I saw at least 3 hospitals and 3 specialists plus multiple tests and guess what? NO DIAGNOSIS. BE VERY CAREFUL OF EVERYTHING YOU SIGN. IF YOU CAN'T SEE IT, DON'T SIGN IT.
I am really disappointed with my experience at Easton Hospital. I went in today for basic lab work, and even though the registration and lab staff weren't busy at all it still took almost an hour to get it done. None of the staff was helpful with directing me on next steps in protocol even though it was quite clear this was my first time getting lab work done at the hospital. My primary doctor is affiliated with Easton Hospital, but I really don't think I'll be coming back.
Best ER in the Valley. Exceptional care and compassion.
