I have been a patient here for years. And am very happy with my care! I am always treated with respect, my doctor listens to what I'm saying and hears my concerns. Every issue is addressed and I leave knowing I'm in caring hands.

Providence is possibly the worst place you could go for medical treatment. All they care about is money, and once youre in the door they get paid, so they dont actually care about treating you. They will admit you, then summon their rent a cops to physically force you out of the building at gunpoint while saying "you dont have to leave, if you leave you are refusing care", then bill you for the experience of having your life threatened in something thats supposed to be a place of healing.

Providence Family Medical Clinic has been my provider for a few years. The first time I went I had a doctor and interns. In subsequent visits, while I was not able to get that doctor without a long lead time, I was able to get appointments with other clinicians. They have been thorough, kind, done all reasonable tests, and are always very up to date with what is happening both to me and in the field. I've gone through a couple of chronic illnesses with them and they always have good suggestions and recommendations. I have been able to get same day appointments for things that are urgent, and they are unfailingly kind, supportive, and helpful. I am really happy with the care I've gotten here.

Can never actually get an appointment with my PCP. Have been trying to call the office to schedule an appointment for the last 2 hours but "the office is closed for a short meeting". They contact faster through mychart but without an examination assume they know what's wrong. My guess is they spend more time on their computers than with patients.

When I moved to the area I switched my primary care to this location & I was shocked about the quality of this physical. Previous physicals I've had have included vision tests, examining ears, throat, hernia check - none of that happened here. The doctor or nurse practitioner or whoever it was actually discouraged me from getting further physicals because they said I was healthy - I have a family history of various serious medical issues so that seems pretty dumb to me. The apt was mostly a series of questions. This entire Providence location is bizarre.

Providence in general, but this clinic in particular, have really gone downhill over the past few years. My family has been going here for almost twelve years and I used to know we were cared for. These days they have so many patients that you don’t recieve individual, quality care. They just shovel as many people in as they can. If you’re looking for a good family doctor who really cares and has compassion, look elsewhere.

I came in to get a shot, simple, right?! Not at Providence! Only person in waiting room, sat there listening to a girl go on and on and on about her drama. No one at front desk as they were all standing in back chatting it up! Miss Drama stops talking for two minutes and comes out and asked if she could help me? Really.... why else would I be there??? I advised her that I was there to get a shot. She said we will be right with you and went out door, came back in and went back into office and started talking again. Another nurse came out didn’t say a thing . About 20 minutes later a guy comes in the office and and Chatty Cathy comes out and immediately calls him back! Then says I will tell the nurse you are waiting for a shot. I was so livid I walked out, went back into other office and asked the lady (who was very kind and helpful) to cancel my appointment as to why. I was so mad, that I could not see straight. I left work early, drove from Lake Oswego to Clackamas and back for nothing but to listen this girls life story! Ridiculous! This what our employers and we pay for!
