They knew I was nervous and they took such good care of me and helped me feel more at ease, not to mention they treated and made me feel like I was their only patient. Dr. Shanbour was amazing as well. You're in good hands at this facility.

Surgery Center of Oklahoma is one of the BEST Hospitals and staff I have ever had to use! Nurse Theresa, Dana, and Mary, there was another Nurse I didn't get her name, but they were all wonderful, and I think the anesthesiologist was Mike! He was wonderful! I just had a total hysterectomy (laparosopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy bilateral salpingo Oopherectomy) there last week on Tuesday the 7th! I am doing very well, thank you to Dr. Bruce Parker! One of the BEST doctor's I have ever had! Highly recommend. His office is in Norman, OK.

I can't belive there are no reviews! This place is great! I had knee and shoulder surgery there over the last few years. There are a couple Nurse Ratchets, but that is okay. Just do not eat or drink before your surgery and they will not send you home:) They also work with a great group of doctors.

I drove from the Dallas area and had carpal tunnel surgery at The Surgery Center of Oklahoma. I shopped around in the Dallas area and for my particular surgery I came out ahead about $1400. And that included my hotel and gas expense! My experience went great! From the pre-op visit with the doc (Dr. Howard) to check in to Anesthesia and surgery to post-op. Top-notch operation! The people were personable and professional. I highly recommend this place for someone looking for a less expensive option for surgery. And their infection rate is almost 0! There are no "gimmicks". Their price is the price. I was expecting a surprise somewhere in the process but there was none! I'm definitely going there again if I need a surgery they offer and I have a way to pay up front (ie. credit card). I just submit the receipts to my insurance for payment.

Certainly our future regarding surgery. From Fort Worth and are self pay. We shopped around. None others provided the upfront, transparent pricing. Our Doctor and Anesthesiologist. were professional with incredible kind and helpful demeanor. Nurses were the same. Office staff so helpful. Extremely streamline processes - scheduled the surgery over the phone. Came in Monday for the physician consult, then surgery 2 hours later!! Surgery is never easy, but this is so above and beyond good.

My father had a tumor in his bladder and the insurance denied the coverage for the operation. The hospital in Chicago quoted 25k, another outpatient doc in Chicago quoted around 10k, Surgery Center of Oklahoma rescued us from the situation by offering upfront pricing of 3.5k and utmost professional care. They helped us finding hotels close to the hospital. Dr. Housan, who operated on my father, was just awesome, including the staff at the facility. Overall, a great experience.

I can’t say enough good things about this place ..I was so disenfranchised with the current American medical system that I was planning on going out of the country to have a hip replacement ..thank God , I found these people. No hidden prices , so friendly and helpful . It’s been ten months now since I had a hip replacement , the recovery was awesome and I’ve got my life back ..thank you, thank you, thank you ...if ever I need fixing again , I’ll be seeing you . So, I though I’d give an update. It’s been almost two years since my surgery ..last month I hiked the continental Divide ., Twice. The second time was with a 40lb pack , ten miles .. Its so crazy to my mind , to know that I have this mechanics transitioning between my hip and femur and to be able to play again, to play hard ..and to be free from the pain . Easier to park than at a hospital; walk in and you are where you are supposed to be; comfortable waiting room with couches; professional and friendly staff; no unexpected costs; and everyone is there for a surgery. It took away the worry of all of the germs/viruses of people coming into a hospital environment. Recommend highly!

Amazing place, I wish each big city in every state has a place like this to help patients without health insurance. They did surgery for us at 1/5th of self pay discounted price quoted by hospital in houston. Dr Howard was amazing for orthopedic surgery.

Insurance Fraud and very little care for their patients! Do not pay anything in advance with this business. They held over $300 of my money for over 10 months and when I asked about why I wasn't given a refund they said it was there policy not to notify or refund the patient. This is totally unacceptable and a total disservices to their patients!

As a medical provider for over 13 years I must say I have never been this impressed with a surgical hospital. I received very transparent, clear instructions from beginning to end. Coming from out of state worried me that there would be some difficulty, but the process was so easy. They tended to EVERY detail. Their surgeons they work with are phenomenal and highly experienced! My specialist had over 20 yrs experience! I met with my anesthesiologist Dr. Steven Lantier, and he explained to me that there really can be greater patient care outside of the typical hospital model we are all so tired of. He answered all of my questions and did not leave until I was comfortable with everything regarding my procedure. You can really tell they have a culture like no other. I have worked with several hospitals and this place is just awesome. They are the opposite of the cold, unattached hospital feel. Would highly recommend!

I totally endorse what Dani Phillips wrote. My wife had the same operation with the same surgeon. I was impressed with the care in the Center as well as post-operative care by both Dr Parker and by the anaestheologist Dr Pearce, as well as by all the nurses in the Center. Even the food and drink were far better than in most hospitals, because they order from some outside restaurants, such as IHOP. We drove two days to get here from outside Atlanta. One reason was the up-front price with no surprise add-ons, and the other was the quick scheduling. A few days after the operation, my wife had some painful swelling in her leg, and we called the Center. Dr Pierce arranged for her to see an ultrasound place that same afternoon to check for blood clots. This was a big example of the great post-op care. Even after we went home, Dr Parker called my wife to check on her. This really is a patient-centred place.

I was referred to Dr. Rick Visor who spent time with us (no rush) and explained everything in detail. The day of surgery check in was easy, staff was very nice and kept me informed at all times. I ended up spending the night and the nursing staff was great.' I would recommend Surgery Center of Oklahoma. Upfront and no surprises.

Theresa Sullivan, billing manager, is absolutely the most unprofessional 'professional' I have ever encountered. Their office made the mistake and are charging us for their error and refuse to remedy it at their own expense.

Called to verify they take care credit over the phone multiple times. Then the day of the surgery we get here and they say they do not take care credit. My wife’s been waiting months for this surgery and to treat someone like that is horrible, and refuse service because they made a mistake. I would never refer anyone here
