Had hip replacement surgery on Tuesday by Dr Zak Knutson. I was scared to death but from the beginning all the staff did their best to keep me calm and assured. I go home tomorrow and I must say, this has been like a 3 day vacation. My room is outfitted with a queen sized bed on the other side of the wall, the staff could not be kinder or more attentive to any of my needs. The food has been incredible. Thank you to all the staff here at the Bone And Joint Hospital, I will absolutely refer anyone that may need your help. It is going to be a little sad to not see any of the nurses after tonight, and the physical therapy crew are awesome as well.

Wonderful hospital with kind, caring staff, exceptional doctors, and a fantastic facility. Unexpected emergency surgery is never fun, but they have made my stay here comfortable and infinitely less frightening. Every member of the staff from the Healthplex East ER to here has been just what medicine should be. Thank you.

This Hospital has the MOST incompetent nursing staff I have ever encountered. My sister had to take a week off work to watch their every move. I guess reading Doctor orders is just to hard for them! The anesthesiologist over dosed our Mother on the 1st surgery, we were in total fear for 14 hours she was not going to recover. 250 microgram of fentanyl with a valium & other meds at the age of 73 & a heart condition. She had been given so much pain medication for the surgery that after coming out of sedation 14 hrs later they couldn't give her any pain relief due to the overdosing. Try having a major back surgery and no meds, she was literally screaming in pain. She was sent home Friday afternoon 7/5/19 & was returned to St Anthony's by ambulance at 2:30 AM 7/6/19 with fever, vomiting & infection. Surgery again on 7/8/19 to repair complication from last weeks surgery & the doctor ordered the patient lay flat for 24 hrs. Just a an hour later the nurse is already trying to raise the bed for our Mother to sit up. This is just touching on a few things that occurred. Stay far away from this facility if you care about your loved ones!

Wouldn't let me be in the patient consultation room with my wife because we had our little kids with us and they "only have room for two". Frustrating to not be able to hear from the doctor and be able to ask questions myself.

I have had two complete knee replacements at The Bone & Joint Hospital in the same year. I now have many more bright days of pain free living and work. My wife just had a hip replacement 2 weeks ago and is already mobile and having less pain after surgery than before surgery. We both have been impressed with Dr. Corey Ponder, our surgeon, the pre-surgery and follow up visits with by Dr. Mark, PA, and the amazing wound closure staple/stitches that hardly leaves a scar by Dr. Stacey. Stacey also stopped by the hospital room to check on my wife. Lana is best ever RN at the hospital who cared for me. Kudos to my wife’s hospital staff including Callie RN, and Nate and Lucy (techs). Paige took out my wife’s staples at Ponders office today, and she didn’t even flinch. I usually don’t name Doctors and staff, but they took care of us like family and I am very grateful to God for helping us find these angels of healing!

The physician and nurses were very professional and the surgery were great but what I didn’t like was my friend broke his femur and instead of using a roller board to move him, they just told him to move over with a broken leg. They spent all this money on the bone and joint facility but couldn’t spent the extra money to buy a roller board to make it easier to move patients over. Having anyone moves from a bed to another bed with any broken ligament is probably the worst experience to have. Just for the reason alone, I wouldn’t recommend my family or friends here.

Had a tibial tubercle osteotomy here. Dr. Knutson was incredible, professional and did a great job. My nurse Barb was INCREDIBLE. she showed infinite amounts of care and patience with me and my family. Also, nurse tech Crystal was awesome. I felt very taken care of, and confident in understanding my procedure and how to properly and most effectively recover. Would 100% recommend.

My wife is a physician and she came here to have Dr. Corey Ponder perform total hip replacement surgery on her and we couldn't be more pleased with the professionalism and high level of treatment she received at the Bone and Joint Hospital at St. Anthony. The staff was uniformly respectful, helpful, and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone requiring bone or joint surgery. It is undoubtedly not only the best facility of its kind in Oklahoma but is on par with similar facilities nationwide. Highly recommended.

My fiance came here to Bone and Joint, OKC not a year ago and had phenomenal treatment from the Doctor (Corey Ponder) and All of the staff who looked after her. I was also treated with the utmost respect and encouraged to participate in the Rehabilitation processes. Today, I am with a very special friend who has had Hip Replacement (by the same Dr.) and am again giving KUDOS to ALL of the staff! They have hearts of compassion that is as ongoing as the day is long. 5 Stars...and 10 of it were available!!! Thank you all for your superior service for your patients.

May 23rd I was admitted for back surgery. Spent the week there. Just like a vacation in a 5 star hotel. Wonderful staff and Doctors. Restaurant equal food morning noon and night.
