I've lived here 7 years now and have had the displeasure of visiting the Mercy emergency room 4 times. Each time worse than the last. I urgently advise you to go to another hospital ER if given a choice. Especially if you're on Medicaid. P.S. every patient of color isn't seeking drugs nor are they on them.

My first experience here was amazing. I went in for a procedure in the Labor and Delivery the nurses were amazing. My nurse Juli was great she explained how everything was going to go very detailed made me feel comfortable and welcomed from start to finish. Not to mention Dr. Goff is amazing as well. Soo looking forward to having my baby there and hoping i get the same nurse i loved her.

Great staff and nurses, they are friendly and helpful. The Doctors on the other hand are never available. We have requested to speak with the ICU physician and the neurologist several times and haven't seen one. The I personally was here the first 24 hours and then the next day I was here 7 hours and never got to speak with the doctor. This is unacceptable when someone is in ICU and the only staff the family gets to see or speak with is the nurses. We have been in the dark about test results from blood work to MRI's since the patient was transferred here 4 days ago.

I had two very invasive procedures done at Mercy recently. Everything went smoothly from admissions to out patient treatment. Dr. Hardy was very professional, good bedside manner, explained everything clearly. The nursing staff was professional, friendly, and very helpful. I was very pleased with my care received at Mercy.

I have been having seizures. My dr couldn’t get me in and told me to go to the er. While there the nurse yelled at me telling me to stop while I was having a seizure and was very hostile towards me. I asked to get a different nurse that did not happen. I was given an injection of medicine I am allergic to that’s on my allergy list and I had an allergy bracket on. I lied there writhing in pain afterwards. They tried to put a catheter into the wrong hole and I was dismissed to go home. Next day I had 30 seizures went back to another hospital then finally go into see my doctor. He said I am having real seizures prescribed the correct medicine and scheduled the correct test to be done. If it was left to these er staff I could have died. Do not go here.

whatever you do, do not work at the pharmacy here! supervisor is very unhelpful. You'd be better off at retail.

Joanne on the 5th floor is so aweful. She was so rude to me and my whole family. Then the realized she knew knew .y mother who's account this is. And tried to be nice but it doesn't matter if I want to be confidential. She rude and besides her this hospital is good.

My nephew was having an asthma attack and couldn't breathe. I dropped him and his mother at the door and went to park the car. Since he couldn't breathe, I assumed when I walked inside he would already have been brought back. He wasn't. Instead, he was GASPING for air and his mother was instructed to wait. We watched 3 other patients called before us and heard angry patrons complaining the wait had been over an hour for most of them. Now, I understand Emergency Rooms operate in order of severity. However, an 8 year old who can't breath should be near the top of the list!!!! Luckily his pediatrician called and asked us to come there!! Upon telling the ER we were leaving, his mother saw them cross out his name--at the BOTTOM of the list. Truly disgusting.

On August 26, 2014, I had to go to the emergency room late at night. I had broken my wrist. wait times were reasonable (to get into a room). Everyone was nice and fun. Maybe it's just the late night group, but they were cutting up and keeping a very difficult job fun. It helped my morale greatly. my only complaint is that there wasn't an orthopedist on duty, and I had to wait too long to see one.

didnt die there, so thats good

Highest quality of drugs available to man they always know how to make somebody high as a kite I feel like I was back at all schuett's number 2

Emergency care is often spot on. Other than a PA that was a little over zealous about us not knowing when our 6 year old has bms and making a big stink about it (pun intended), our experiences have been positive.

I wish i was able to give 0 stars cause thats what they deserve. My mom was sent up there for having multiple seizures 10 hours straight. They did NOTHING to help her. Didn't run any tests or anything. They said her seizures are caused by stress. I will NEVER have her go back to this hospital and I WILL be filing a complaint on the doctor that supposedly did all he could do. He did nothing!

I had to bring my boyfriend to the ER because of severe pain and loss of consciousness due to complications with an, at the time, unknown illness. It took a solid minute for staff to realize that I had driven up and was panicking trying to figure out how to get him out of the car while he was unconscious. The person who brought out a wheelchair wasn't even from the front desk. Our nurse was absolutely awful. Don't remember her name, but shortish curly dark brown hair with a bad attitude working Easter Sunday. She screamed at him while he was unconscious to give them his phone number right after I said I could look up the 1 digit I couldn't remember on my phone. She tried to put his IV in while he was still having abdominal cramps so strong it induced vomiting, which caused him to blow 2 veins, but 30 minutes later, she came back with antinausea meds to go under the tongue that made the cramps go away almost immediately. That probably should have been administered first. Then, he started to lose consciousness (like, wide awake talking, then eyes crossing and going out) and his respiratory rate dropped from 20 to 6 breaths per minute and they were very shallow (I was watching his chest). When I went to talk to the nurse about it, she just walked in the room and yelled at him, "Hey, are you breathing okay?" and then left. We saw the doctor himself twice. Once, he walked in and said, "You've got a bug, bud," and left. The second was to tell him he was being discharged. Thank you guys for making a bad situation and Easter worse.

Our family doctor and nurse we have been seeing for more than 15years are spectacular. We couldn't have asked for better service from them. However I'm giving them 5 stars and some other staff 1 star. Went to urgent care and ended up seeing another doctor and nurse. This nurse was so rude she let the door almost hit my daughter she didn't even acknowledge us. She made us feel like we were wasting her time. Even her facial expressions...I'm trying to be very open minded maybe she had a bad day. I'm glad the doctor was nice though.

Jackiesandy Whitten

They take good care of you And the staff is.usually good.

BEWARE OF THE EVIL WITCH/ES THAT WORK AT MERCY ER. Mercy ER is the WORST well wait their is Baptist /Integres which is why I went to Mercy in the first place. What does it take to get compassionate people DOING their jobs instead of acting like non compassionate evil imps? The nurses at Mercy take the cake ! I had a legitimate diagnosis by one of THEIR doctors and it is interoperable and cause major pain in my abdomen when it flares up. I get attacks from the condition and the abdominal pain is beyond a 10 always and this is from a person who has a high pain tolerance. I would think if someone comes in by ambulance shrieking and writhing in pain instead of telling the to shut -up NOT be quiet and then are condescending to you and still saying things like gosh shut up I can't think with all that shrieking. I would think the obvious compassionate thing to do is to try and relive the DIAGNOSED pain not aggravate the person in pain which, is what the nurses do in the ER at Mercy . How they behave is a direct conflict with the Mercy Values. Is it dignified when a patient who needs assistance getting to the toilet calls a nurse, she comes and says ok I'll be right back to help you and never comes back and in the meantime you urinate on yourself because you can't get to the toilet? I did not feel dignified when this happened to me on more than one occasion at this hospital. The nurses had attitudes cause they had to clean it up. In my opinion if I was attended to in a timely manner that would not have happened. They huddle outside the rooms and talk hatefully about patients. You are left unattended for hours at a time and honestly you are LUCKY to see a REAL doctor until the very end. They run unnecessary tests, they do not listen and they are seriously a part of Satan's troops. I thought a Christian hospital would be well Christian. Know that I have been refused treatment because I have no family and then when I say this to them I have been belittled and then told to call a friend. When explained no friends to call they have even questioned me like I am not telling the truth. I called my doctor and said I was ill and going to ER and was told to tell them that the doctors assistance would meet me there and to tell ER this well when I did they ignored me and then when I said it again I was told my doctor did not have an assistance. So they refused to call her office. I have NEVER in my life been treated SO HORRIBLY EVER ! I am a great kind patient and theses men and women that work in the ER are vile to say the least. Not every person that comes in is drug seeking there ARE some like myself who are REALLY ill! The Patient Advocate is not any better. I called twice to Lisa (patient advocate) and a CM on my behalf called too about the treatment and service I had received in the ER at Mercy I spoke with her and she said she was transferring me to the ER supervisor needless to say after leaving a message she did not return the call. I could go on abut I will just warn you now BEWARE THE EVIL WITCH/ES WORK AT MERCY ER.

The phone operators are the worst.

Love this Hospital!

Carolyn Reith

took husband to ER with excruciating upper back pain. @1:30 pm Bingo! kidney stones! sent him home to hopefully pass 2 small stones. . ml each back in ER @ 7:00 pm admitted . surgery next AM, so far so good

Tammie Sheree

The worst hospital I have ever been admitted to. The staff didn't communicate with each other the service was terrible and the all around environment was very depressing. THIS HOSPITAL IS NOT WORTH IT...If you want better care, friendlier, compassionate nurses and staff and if you actually care about and want to know how your care is being managed DO NOT GO THERE!!! If it weren't for my doctor being a part of the Mercy group I would completely dismiss this hospital....then again I might have to dismiss my doctor...and go to and pay the extra fees to go to an out-of-network doctor next time.

Lana Scott

Mercy Hospital alway treats me with the utmost respect...All of the staff are so kind and understanding of all my needs .I will always return to mercy hospital for all my needs

mike garcia

I have never been here but they said I owned then money for a Vist I never been to OK. they keep sending me letters for payments. after many time letting them know it now me . now I have to go through the trouble proving it's not me but mailing a letter about where I was that day. I am going to prove it by my Google maps that day to show I was never there.

Elias Kellogg

You get charged from a separate company when you go in for a CT scan. Beware of second charges from an unknown company.

Nathan Troester

Was put in an ER room right away for an injury, with no wait for evaluation. Probably caught them at a good time. I have no complaints about the service and professionalism of their staff, who were great. Their standard of care is excellent too.

Ashley Whittet

This is the WORST hospital I've ever seen. My grandma was admitted to this hospital on Friday and it's Monday and they just mopped her floor today. And she threw up and they told my mom she had to clean it up! And then they put nausea gel on her wrists while she was incoherent and told her to rub it in herself! I'm pissed. This is not how patients should be treated. Do your job or quit!

Paddy Relangi

Front desk lady marzy is very rude. On website it says "martin luther king hr may effect the hours". So I asked her if they are open today , instead of answering straight , she said rudely, THIS is hospital ,we are open 24 hrs with attitude. that is not how to treat customer. If she is beyond to answer customer questions that she probably shouldn't be at front desk.

Michael Hopkins

The experience I just had at the Admissions desk at Mercy was absolutely horrible. The Admissions clerk was rude and hateful and not very helpful. Not once was a "hello" offered or directions on where to go given. Maria was definitely not happy to be there and this was reflected in her attitude towards not only me, but apparently to everyone around. I normally do not write reviews , but this absolute disrespect for the patient (customer in this case because Mercy is a for profit operation) is unacceptable and should be corrected by the administration.

Janice Marshall

My husband had the best doctors & nurses EVER!!! He would have never survived his GI bleed without the awesome staff at Mercy that God had provided us!! The Lord has blessed Mercy Hospital with a very professional & caring staff!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Five ⭐️’s

tech chris

one nurse was not too professional everything was good

Ryan King

Fantastic place. My father was having heart surgery and they gave our family updates every hour. Very helpful and understanding. Took great care of my dad

Vickie Carden

I wouldn't give a 1 but our doctor was good. Nursing tried to kill our mother, room nasty, food cold, 90% of nursing rude and uncaring. Communication horrible and would not follow the doctors orders. We will not ever let them put a family member here again. Gave them a 2nd chance and it was worse than the first time.

nami lek

The nurses I got were kinda of rude I didn't like the attitude but it was okay. The worst part was my brother choked and I pressed the red button for someone to come help and he could've choked to death or something and so I had to go get someone and they finally came and then the girl FINALLY came like after idk 8 mins smh I'm kinda disappointed and the rooms are very small or at least the one they gave us.

America's Taken

As good as the hospital staff are.......billing is a complete nightmare. I talk to different people every day and I get a different answer with a different total from every single one of them. This is the one reason I won’t be using Mercy in my future.

Jesse

Staff is great

Sarah Cunnius

They labor and delivery team here were AMAZING. The bar for service I have received from the nurses and doctors here will forever be set to their standards! Dr. John Stanley, the anesthesiologist Dr. Hickey and the nurse Hope were my favorite "team"!

Nancy Titus

I had an emergency C-section here in 2016, and the staff and NICU nurses were alot of help to us! I really appreciated the nurse who prayed over me❤️ if I lived in OKC, that is where I'd choose to have my babies! **Update** Friday, Feb 1st 2019... I gave birth to my son Roman♡ He did not make it, but the staff did everything they could to help keep my babies heartbeat going as long as possible. I really appriciate all the staff who helped and was with us for this difficult time. They let our little boy stay with us as long as we stayed. My most favorite nurses are Christina, Heather, and Angelina. They were all so sweet, and made me feel really loved just by the hugs and care they had for me and my family. These ladies are absolutely the best nurses I've ever had!!! They have done a good job in taking care of me. This is my favorite Hospital. You really see and feel Gods amazing love here♥ Dr Stanley and Dr Bishop were also amazing. I really recommend this hospital to everyoneeveryone!!! Id love to thank all the staff for being here for my husband and I as we go through this difficult time

Nicole James

I came to mercy hospital on March 13, 2018 to have my son here. I had an amazing birth experience here at this hospital. I had Dr. Brunnabend as my obgyn. I could not have asked for a better birth than what I experienced here at Mercy. Thank you ladies on the labor and delivery floor, y’all did great.

My wife and I recently had our first child and we used Mercy. The service, nurses, secretaries were all amazing, extremely caring and compassionate and good at their jobs. As for the billing, if there was a option for zero stars I would choose it. They had me pay part of the bill in the hospital which I thought "great I'm ready to pay and get it out of the way", they ran my son through my wife's insurance without us telling them, when he is being added to my insurance instead, which triggered a long line of billing issues that I'm being told could take up to a year to get sorted out due to legally thats how long the insurance company has to. take certain actions. Also the several thousand dollars I payed while still in the hospital went to the wrong bills and it is a massive mess. So my point, don't pay them anything till you get itemized bills in the mail, and make sure any and all insurance details are worked out before paying a dime.

Paige Covey

Hello, my name is Paige, and I am 22 years old. I came here awhile back with pretty excruciating chest/back pain. The doctors took blood and did an X-ray both came back fine, so, instead of performing anymore tests they came back to pretty much tell me I was lying, gave me a prescription of naproxen, and sent me home. If they had done their job and performed more tests they would have found out I had an ulcer on top of a vein. I have just spent the last three weeks at Deaconess hospital (2 of which in the ICU) because that ulcer perforated, I was vomiting blood and had to have emergency surgery twice. I now have a scar stretching from my sternum to my bellybutton, as well as metal coils inside my blood vessels to stop the bleeding. I almost died three times while I was there, and had to have 13 pints of blood transfused all because of their incompetence (not to mention that I can't work for the next two months, at least, and now have hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills. So, no, I don't think this is a good hospital.

Fadi A

The worst staff ever, God forbid you ask a staff member a question, they will give you a lecture about how you are wasting their time, and how can you be so ignorant of their job title. P.S. I was only asking for directions from an anesthesiologist

Bubbas Meisa

They saved my life in the ER after a massive toxic-tick attack at Thunderbird State Park in 2009.

Jocelyn Brockway

My husband was taken in as soon as we arrived at the regular emergency, even though we didn't know we should have gone to the heart emergency. The heart doctor is excellent. The ICU and stepdown nurses are sweet. He was released the following day.

Bobby Jenkins

All teams in the Sugery Center, ICU, and step down ICU were professional, caring, and excellent during some very difficult times.

I delivered my son at Mercy in November of 2017. The only reason I’m giving Mercy 3 stars is because of my OBGYN, Wesley Vaughan. He ended up saving my life. After almost 24 hours of labor, I delivered my son via vbac with an on-call Doctor. I received a 3rd degree tear and subsequently contracted Necrotizing Fasciitis. I wasn’t impressed with the Labor and Delivery team. I wasn’t allowed or encouraged to move around the room to use a birthing ball, take a bath or any other type of labor assistance to help with my attempted natural labor. I finally gave in and got an epidural after 8 hours of excruciating pain. I was forced onto all fours by an L&D nurse, knowing very well that an epidural was in place and very much working, in an attempt to help my cervix efface. I ended up vomiting all over myself because it made me so nauseous trying to get myself onto all fours with no help and couldn’t hold myself up due to not being able to feel my legs. Then, after delivery, no one checked my wound or listened to the fact that I was in so much pain for such a small area. The on-call never checked on me. I never saw her again after delivery. They just pumped me full of narcotics and gave me a cream (which made no sense). Once I returned for the Necrotizing Fasciitis (2 days after my release), my doctors were amazing and saved my life. Dr. Vaughan diagnosed the NF quickly and even though he wasn’t on-call for my delivery, he still treated me as if he had delivered my son. He truly cared and acted fast after diagnosing my infection. I was in debridement surgery within a couple of hours of being admitted. After much confusion of how I was supposed to get readmitted, I was shoved into 5th floor triage on a Thursday afternoon. Nobody knew what to do with me. I was finally put in a room and had very little assistance from nurses until after my surgery early Friday morning. I was then moved on a Saturday afternoon because the part of the wing I was in “closes” and there wasn’t going to be anyone to care for me. I spent a lot of time alone with no one checking on me. If I called the nurses station, they seemed annoyed and rude that I was calling for help. I didn’t have an assigned nurse, it was just whoever would take the time to check on me or answer my call. I was finally moved to the oncology floor, where there was constant banging, electricity flickered, rooms weren’t very clean and my sheets were not changed in the duration of my stay for the flesh eating bacteria. The only positives were that my husband and newborn were allowed to stay with me, and my nurses on the oncology floor were wonderful (they loved my newborn being in the room), they were much more patient and friendly than the L&D nurses were. After the nightmare stays, came the bills. The billing department is absolutely ridiculous. They have created multiple accounts for my son and I and I am still receiving bills (like I said, I delivered my son in November) that make no sense. They’re calling me constantly to make a payment, which I am, but then they keep sending me new bills and changing amounts due. I had to pay $230 for them to establish my son could hear, because the test was deemed “out of network.” Although I realize that’s an insurance thing, I don’t understand why a required, routine test would be given by an outside entity that wouldn’t be covered under a major insurance (Aetna) company. And of course you aren’t told this ahead of time. Overall, I just cannot recommend this hospital. I will NEVER go back for anything. I am traumatized from what should have been a joyous occasion. I’m fully convinced that I contracted the flesh eating bacteria while I was staying at the hospital!!!

Best hospital. Best Staff. They treat me very kindly, so nicely. This is my most favorite hospital.

If you want people coming from each office with their own bills for you, long after charges have racked up on EVERY ACCOUNT, and then have them send you mail with account numbers that DON'T EVEN WORK, meanwhile their phones are locked up to discuss bill EVERY TIME YOU CALL, please use Mercy Hospital. Great Service while there. Worst billing experience I've ever had. I have never felt like I've lived under the weight of a worse bill, meanwhile when I've almost paid them entirely off A YEAR LATER, I miss a payment and suddenly my bill goes back up to a thousand dollars, AND I CAN'T EVEN CALL THEM ABOUT IT. If I have any medical problems, I would sooner suffer it at home and hope to get better, THAN TO EVER GO BACK TO MERCY HOSPITAL.

Sparkle T

I've been here for two months with my father. I feel sorry for people that don't have family that can sit with them 24/7. The nurses put on gloves and touch the computer then touch dads pills with the same dirty gloves. I requested wipes to clean his BM the RN said you can ask the tech when she comes. Pic line dressing should be changed weekly. I noticed the RN taping the dressing down and I requested that she change it since it had been on for 2 weeks. She did not. I've had only one to reply before 10 minutes when I would request assistance with a BM change. I just do them myself. When I ask what medicine they are giving my father they get offended and don't want to answer. I did clean the computer keyboard my self and the wipe was black with filth. Another nurse had on her gloves to type on the keyboard and proceeded to flush my dads pic line with the same dirty gloves. At night when the tech comes in to check his vitals even if the room smells like BM from his terrible gas she never asks him if she can assist him with cleaning. Due to his stroke he can not clean himself. He requested a bath after it had been 3 days of not having one. I am so glad that my mother and I can rotate and be here with him otherwise he would be in trouble. He has a fall alarm on his bed, it takes about 5 minutes to respond to that alert. The Dr. comes in and says o yes you're eating and doing therapy so we can send you home. My mother let him know dad was still on a liquid diet and no one from therapy had even come by.. Uninformed physicians and nurses that do protect themselves from infection but not patient at all.

Good quality of care

Lisa C

I love this hospital. The people are so friendly and the care is exceptional.

Laura Lewis

The nurses take really good care of their patients. During our stay we had a weather emergency they continued to provide excellent patient care and remained calm and professional.

Erica Bell

Their a great help to the community

Beautiful place very caring helpful you can feel the peace

Mercy hospital in Oklahoma City is in my opinion the best hospital in Oklahoma City. The doctors, and nurses are very competent and kind. I know it’s very dependent on who you get as your doctor in the ER, but my ER doctor, (Dr. Crane), was fantastic! He knew exactly what was going on, and what needed to be done, and he fixed me. Thank you!!

Renee neely

Reps in the billing department are incompetent, I think they purposely do your paperwork incorrect just to cause you grief. Now I have an 800 hundred plus dollar bill because somebody did not do their job. I walked in after visiting with check in knowing when I were to leave they would foul it up and bingo I was right!

Carly Martinez

Literally the worst hospital I've ever been to. I brought my son in because he was having trouble breathing and they decided to make him wait over an hour to get into one of the crappiest rooms I've ever seen in my life. The people that were in the curtain next to us said they had been waiting since 2 o'clock. Mind you my son came in with asthma problems and still after an hour of waiting he had not been seen by a doctor. I'm so livid with this hospital it's not even funny. I only brought my son here because it was close to where we were when I realized that he was having such a hard time breathing. But I can promise you that we will never be back here. Not at the top of the priority list. I would have went off if I hadn't left so I just left and didn't say anything. I was literally in tears I was so mad at how un professional this place is!!!!!!!

naomi moses

I don’t mind it being busy right know but I’m sitting in the waiting room with an Iv in my arm out in the waiting room Exposed around other people. This is a safety hazerd.

Ashley Waters

I love my obstetrician and his office at Mercy, but be forewarned that if you are sick while pregnant and have to go to the labor and delivery area, they will charge you upwards of $400 (after insurance) just to leave a sample and send you home. For that reason alone, I would recommend Lakeside Women's Hospital over Mercy (I have had a child at Lakeside and will be having one in January at Mercy).

Kelly Beyer

This is the armpit of hospitals so far. Not enough doctors or nurses on staff. We have been here 2 days and have seen a doctor for 5 minutes upon arrival and not since then. The nurses are so overworked that they don't have much bedside manner. The rooms are tiny and can only accommodate 1 guest. We were spoiled at the Heart Hospital but then they sent us here. We have visited several Integris Hospitals and they are ALL better than this. We will know better than to come here ever again.

Micaela Lock, RN, Labor & delivery, went above & beyond for myself & my newborn! I’m a RN myself & seeing how much she cared for me just warmed my heart & soul! Deep down I know she did everything she could to help me avoid csection, which Worked!. It’s a long story but trust me, God assigned her as my nurse because he knew she could handle me & the situation! I was stuck at 1cm for hours after my water broke on Friday and I was terrified to have c-section, I wasn’t dilating. I had cytotec & later pitocin going, still without success all Friday night, Saturday day, night...until Micaela Lock came in on 7p-7a shift on Saturday and this super woman repositioned me on the clock every 45mins to 1hour. (I had given up and was very dissapointed and had began to prep myself for c-section on Sunday morning.)I had epidural going at his point so you can imagine repositioning someone who can’t move from waist down so often. Let me tell you people, I’m a nurse and I know Micaela didn’t have to do what she did. I had no idea repositioning could do wonders in such a situation. Anyways, I went from a 1cm to 3cm, and eventually to a full 10 and I’ll tell you, were it not for my super nurse, this wouldn’t have happened! Also Dr Judy Fong delivered my baby and I remember telling my hubby if we decide to have another baby, we need to first make sure she’ll be our ob before anything else, lol. She was patient with me& did the best to give me a chance at natural labor, which happened eventually. So thankful to God!

Judah Cobb

It takes 1000000 years to get into the E.R. You would be better off diagnosing urself than going here.

Anthony

I am a former Mercy heart patient who tried to get a follow up heart examine. THE OFFICES ARE SETUP SO THAT NOBODY EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE OR RETURNS YOUR VOICE MAILS THEY ASK YOU TO LEAVE. I was tired of this after two weeks and 6 phone calls. I requested copies of my medical records but they never mailed them. I will find a doctor's office who cares at Baptist hospital.

Lifelong Wedding Ceremonies

Dr. Saha was very rude and hateful, and the staff often didn’t bring my mother her stuff in a timely manner. It’s a super religious, superstitious hospital....zero stars!!

Matt Fishman

We've only had good experiences with this hospital. Our friend had some bad issues with alcohol and he was here after an accident. They took great care of him and now he is on the road to recovery.

Drew Reese

Super nice on the inside. Feels like you're walking through a mall. But every store is a doctor waiting to help you.

stewart bunny

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! My Father is in the step down ICU and nurses just leave him there! I have been with every day and have yet to see "Desi" the nurse! The nurses sit at the nurses station and gossip. Made my dad wait 4 hours to use the restroom and no matter how many times i went to desk they would only say "your nurse will be with you soon". Unacceptable! Don't go here! Neglectful! Rude! They treat patient families terrible when you speak up! Horrible hospital!

sadiewilloughby .

Called Dr. Moore to set up an appointment to have my baby at Mercy. They told me that they would take me if I faxed over my files from my current doctor. I went through the process and even got my own copy. They tried to tell me they did not receive them. Then when I told them I have my own copy they said they only take patients out of state. Thanks for wasting a month of my time.

Great experience in labor & delivery. Hospital staff was very friendly & accommodating to us.

I went to mercy after being told at St Anthony’s I was faking everything that was causing me pain was told to stop lying when I stated that I couldn’t feel my feet! When I got to mercy they treated me exactly how I needed and took care of me turns out after doing an ekg on my heart an xray on my chest and cat scan on my lower back that I had a herniated disc in my lower back and that I had scoliosis also I found out more about what was happened to me then I ever have at St Anthony’s. I’d recommend mercy more than any other hospital! They always take serious care of their patients! They gave me the proper attention I needed!

I have received care here a few times in the past and my father-in-law received excellent care off and on while dying of a rare disease. He was in ICU for part of his stay and all the staff were caring and A+. However, I feel that in the last few years, the care has declined. I took my son there after he was seen previously for daily vomitting of blood at the Mercy Logan Co. Hospital. That hospital's staff was much more compassionate, kind and throrough than this ones. They did bloodwork, pronounced that it was all normal (as if there was no problem if bloodwork is normal), gave an Rx for naseau medication and sent us on our way after a 3+ hour in the waiting room at the ER. No further tests even though he was presenting with a pain level of 9 out of 10. The Logan Co. location advised us to go to this location if further violent vomiting w/ blood occurred as "they have gastro doctors on staff and can do extensive tests." Not so. These people seemed more concerned in helping the numerous people there with the flu. Ridiculous. Go the urgent care and quit clogging up the ER for people w/ more serious illnesses! Edit to review: I messaged on their website twice that I wanted to speak to a patient care advocate about the care we received; instead of receiving a return phone call, I received a letter saying they were reviewing their emergency room procedures and appreciated my input. What input? They never contacted me to see what was lacking, where they could improve. I find this to be unacceptable that I took the time to contact them twice and NO ONE could call me.

Kira Mydland

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! They will keep sending you random bills for services they never performed AND if you do pay a bill, they don't save it in their system so it's as if you never paid it at all

Cristina Allen

This hospital is amazing. Really. When my son was small they have the Drs he needed. And now that treat us like family when we come. They are helping my sister fight her stage 4 cancer. Giving her a better life while she is here. They treat her like I do. They care an love us. I will always drive the distance to go here. And I love how people learn you an call you by first name you dont just feel like a number

Chelsey B2569

The only emergency room I'll go to. They are clean and care for the patients.

Jack Rasner

Excellent doctors. One nurse was very rude but I wrote it off as she hates her job. Overall decent

Jason Cox

Go to the hospital in severe pain. Said I had pneumonia in her right lung. Go back still in severe pain they say I'm okay. I'm coughing up blood and they're telling me I'm okay.

Kimberly Ellison

I had a decent experience here. I went in for hives/allergic reaction after being diagnosed with a recent thyroid issue. The staff were great. Im not sure if i saw the pa or physician they ran a battery of test. They shot me up with benadryl and steroids and watched me from there. Which is basically all an ER can really do for anything chronic in my experience. They did at least try to find the source which is more than i can say for OU. Those tests have helped with further diagnosis and i am grateful for that. My primary Dr and Endocronologist are both Mercy so i try to stick with the same overall hospital. My father had knee surgery here and i was truly not impressed with that. They didnt evaluate properly prior. They should of realized his hemoglobin was too low to operate. He shouldnt of lost so much blood and had to of been transfused. He had a blood clot which blew a stent and caused a heart attack. I think it couldve been handled differently. Luckily everything turned out ok. People in hospital settings are human too. I just hope that overall they used that as a learning experience in theie future endeavors

Sarah Clinton

Visited the ER via ambulance from 3am to about 8am. The nurses were very nice, but we were discharged with no instructions. I tried calling the "if you were a patient in the last 72 hours" phone line and left four messages in three days with no return call.

Berdina Tohee

best care i have ever received. Amazing nurse's, and Doctor's.

Mickey Cook

I will remain sick before I ever use Mercy Clinic again. I went in for a routine urology check-up. Between Dr Davis office and mercy billing, I feel like I have been taken to the cleaners. I highly recommend you go elsewhere for your medical needs.

Mandi Stewart

Stroke center saved my fathers life! Amazing people!

Betty J Scott

I went in after having eye plugs put in my eyes, to which I reacted prior to leaving Dean McGee, when they never called back, I ended up at Mercy with a very swollen face & eyes. The doctors gave me steroids & antibiotics. After finished this course of meds, came back worse than ever. Dermatologist said these meds made type of skin problem much worse! Doctors couldn't bother to do any research to discover what it really was! Still dealing with it 6 weeks later, as even the dermatologist doesn't know how to treat it! Doctors are worthless! Doing better on my own with alternative treatments!!

Electa Morris

Hard to locate

Kaylee Doonkeen

TERRIBLE service in the ER the room was dirty had other people's IV bags hanging first off that's a hippa violation the person info was on it. Waited for more than 2 hrs for an ultrasound after they tried for 2 secs to hear my nieces heart beat. I confronted dr and he was extremely rude and just continued to say ok when expressing my concerns! I just CAN NOT believe how they treated us

Yon Yon

When trusting doctors in Oklahoma, it can be difficult these days. With the government evading patient care thru controlling good physician's hand in how they should operate, limits the good ones. These days a person must trust God's holy word in living a healthy spiritual n physical life. From being victimised by chronic to acute illnesses, as well by careless doctors, my faith made me whole! Trust in the Lord...for Jesus cares!!! He has already healed our pain.

M R Noneya

Great hospital. Never a problem and always professional.

I highly recommend avoiding the ER at Mercy (NoMercy), if at all possible. If you must go there, be sure to document every single minute of your visit. I am not talking simply writing down times on a scrap piece of paper, but video recording the entire visit. Their billing practices are highly unethical, as they are a firm believer in dishonesty, extortion, and fraud. After our visit, we received an “estimate” of the bill prior to even leaving the room (which they were continually adding to the bill while we were in the room paying the bill). We paid (despite being very pricy, but that is to be expected for the ER). Later, we received two bills from them for that visit. The first bill included a change in the level of service to include additional time that NO ONE even talked to us. The other bill was for the PA at the higher rate than originally assigned. This comes after the PA said this is a very common injury that happens approximately once per shift (is the billing staff that incompetent they cannot properly bill a common service?). The original bill was for $442.15, of which they collected $415.12 prior to letting us leave. They since have charged us an ADDITIONAL $271.88 (a 61.5% increase over original bill). This is like going to a pizza restaurant, ordering a pizza, getting the bill for $50, and a week later getting a bill from the restaurant for another $31 because they wanted to extort more money from you. They have repeatedly lied to me via their customer service department. One example is when I requested a medical coding review (after researching the issue). About a month later, they said they saw that it had been requested, but they never did anything about it. Another example was when they told me to call the “Settlement Department” but wouldn’t give me the phone number. Another representative said that department didn’t even exist. In addition, they have completely ignored the Better Business Bureau complaint filed against them.

Gimli son of Glóin

If your looking for mercy you have come to the wrong place. My doctor was amazing and he discharged me. No complaints for him or the nurses that took care of me during my stay. After about 15 minutes of sitting in my hospital room I had to go to the restroom. It felt like someone stabbed my kidney with a red hot knife and was turning it back and forth. I made it back to my bed and was screaming in agony. A "floating" nurse that came in with the nurse that would wheelchair me out did not once did she ask me if i was ok. After 5 minutes she told me that i need to man up and get in the chair to be wheeled out. Ever for the past 4 days I have had horrible pain and have been screaming throughout the night. Knowing that this parasite still works there makes my blood boil. If you see one rat there is always more. I'm making it my mission that these pathetic excuses for nurses are weeded out and back to working at McDonalds where they belong. I'll be making phone call after phone call. They dident tell me her name but I am working to find it. I will expose her for the horrible human being that she is.

Etta Mccory

Very good medical staff. Hospital clean. Staff is not always cheerful..but sometimes we all have bad days or moments in life. Cafeteria has good food.

Tuan Nguyen

Seems like a decent hospital. Staff is friendly and attentive. Have spent quite a bit of time here lately at the ER for family and they have been quiet patient.

Jacquelyn S

My experience with hospital staff was great! The billing/customer service department is a NIGHTMARE!!!! I’ve been trying for 5 weeks to get an overpayment refunded to me. Phone calls, emails, and escalations to the “credit review team” has yielded no results.

Bender the Green Cheek

Utterly ridiculous. I was referred to the Mercy ER by a primary care provider due to complaints of abdominal pain and a history of a digestive disorder. Unfortunately my experience there was well below an acceptable standard of care. Where to start? Upon entering, the triage nurse was very discourteous, and seemed to think I shouldn't be there, even though I had been referred by a primary care provider who felt that my situation warranted immediate treatment. I was informed that I could not eat or drink due to tests that they "might" do. After having waited over two hours, I was beginning to feel weak, as I had not been able to drink water for the past 18 hours. When my husband advised the triage nurse of my situation, she informed him that she literally could not help me until I fainted and lost consciousness. When I was finally seen for treatment, the MD was also exceptionally rude. He ran a basic blood panel and a pregnancy test (thanks, doc), then said that because my CBC/Chem was within normal limits, I would not be treated further. Even though he was aware that I was (and still am) in excruciating pain, unable to eat solid foods, and can barely swallow liquid. He was "considerate" enough to give me a referral to a gastroenterologist, who will be able to see me in a few months. Am I supposed to hibernate until then? He was [unsurprisingly] discourteous, demeaning and had an utter disregard for his patients' well-being. The icing on the cake is that the doctor prescribed me medications I was already taking (as indicated by my chart) and codeine. Who the hell takes codeine for stomach problems? Did he think that I was just there for pills and that that would shut me up? The reason is unclear, but carelessly prescribing narcotics did it in for me. When reflecting upon this experience, I recalled taking my dog to the vet for similar problems (vomiting, loss of appetite, history of GI problems). My dog received an exponentially better standard of care. They were ready and willing to run all kinds of diagnostics (CT, barium swallow etc), it cost less money, it took less time, and she was treated with far more respect. Sufficed to say, I will not be back. When a dog gets a better standard of care, you know you're in trouble.

The hospital visit itself was fine, they got me in pretty quickly and took the time to try and diagnose my symptoms (emergency room visit). The billing process, however, is what has really disgusted me about this hospital. This being an emergency visit, I knew the amount was going to be high, so I wasn't surprised when my statements came in totaling over $2100 for me to pay out of pocket. I paid all the statements off at once, in their full amount, and kept the receipts. One would think that would be it, over and done. Nope! A month and a half later I receive ANOTHER statement, for the same things I had already been billed for and HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL, except this time they increased the charge amount for one of the services listed. No reason was given in the statement. I call Mercy Customer Service to get to the bottom of this, and have to deal with being transferred several times to the point whoever I was on the phone with transfers my call to the Integris Baptist Hospital! When I finally get a hold of someone from Mercy, they tell me they don't know hwy the billing amount was increased, but all they can do is send a form in and someone should call me within 7 days. After waiting for 2 weeks I finally got called from Mercy explaining why they had changed the amount. Their reasoning was superfluous at best and I told them I had already paid my bill in full and did not agree with their reasoning. So they send in another form and tell me when the people in charge have reviewed it they will call me again to discuss the bill. It's been 3 weeks and I have not received another call from Mercy, nor do I expect one. I get that medical costs are high no matter what, but when you bill someone for such an amount and they pay the bill in full IMMEDIATELY, what on earth gives you the right to just increase the amount and to bill them again?

Susie C

Love Kristina (3rd floor)! Fabulous nurse! Friendly, caring and very good at her job.

Nate Ayala

From the volunteers to the drs, they were there for me with anything and everything I needed.

Joyce Davis

A great medical center with many doctors specializing in many different fields.

Sarah Hayes

The people's attitudes here are straight awful

Brittany Allen

Came in due to a period that ended after only having for 1 day, large blood clots, pain, dizziness, and fatigue and was diagnosed with ligjthedness and told nothing was wrong. Even crying in pain wasn't given anything for pain except tylenol. Worst visit ever.

Olga Caulfield

Daytime shift nurses are nice, night shift nurses do whatever they want as far as following drs orders, checking vitals, taking care of post op patients. Billing is not the best either. Had me prepay part of my surgery and never applied it to my balance. Had to contact their billing department a few times before they made it right. Horrible cafeteria. I had to be on clear liquid diet following my surgery. The nurse brought me the menu, which was bunch of hamburgers, pastas, etc. considering how many people have surgeries that require clear liquid diet afterwards, could have had some chicken soup or smth. Which they did, but it was that stuff from a packet. This review is for the hospital only. They do have some good doctors.

Adrian R Camacho

Friendly and helpful employees

I'm very disappointed for many reasons - requested someone to contact me at Mercy, but no one did. 1) I had an accident and ended up with a grade III AC separation. I went to the clinic knowing the emergency room would be too expensive and thinking I had a dislocated shoulder. My insurance sucks. Clinic did some work (x-ray and rotated my shoulder and gave me expert opinion) but was told there wasn't more they could do and sent me over to the emergency room. I swear because they sent me to the emergency room, they said they would not bill me for certain things. I most unfortunately went to the emergency room, and they wouldn't even use the x-rays from the clinic and took another set. I ended up paying several thousand dollars for an arm sling, two sets of x-rays, and not much else. Well, I guess the use of a bed. 2) Round 2. Because of several tick bites, the doc wanted to have some lab work done. Knowing I can get this cheaper though MDSave, I got the labwork done, but I was charged $342 to read the report! OMG, this stuff has to change. Excessive charges are rampant! Fortunately, it was adjusted to $121. Given my insurance jumped up around $850/month (yes, increase, not to), I've gone to Liberty Healthshare. At least, now I'll have a little extra to pay these exorbitant fees.

Colleen Tibbs

I had a baby at Mercy Hospital on Monday, November 17th of 2014. The doctors and nurses at Mercy were absolutely AMAZING! They never once hesitated to provide what I needed. They came in and checked on me every hour. They answered all my questions with a smile on their face. I would recommend that every woman gives birth at Mercy. Their food is awesome too. Every time I had an ache or a pain, they were quick to figure out why and made sure I was comfortable. The night-shift nurses were incredibly sweet, also. When you accidentally press the Emergency button your bed, they don't get irritated or annoyed, they make sure you're happy and your experience at Mercy is awesome.

Tahir Yousaf

Always Excruciating wait times, even after having the appointment and arriving on time .

Lisa W

I was discharged today from the labor & maternity floor and I couldn’t wait to write an official review of my experience. I find hospitals scary, but Mercy was so welcoming and exactly what I needed. My baby was breech and I was not excited about a c secrion. Dr. Vaughn took me on as a last minute client and he and the staff at Mercy gave me a wonderful birth experience. Every request I had outside of the standard protocol was accepted and not questioned once. They truly are a family focused hospital and I am so pleased with my experience there.

Crystal Martin

Doctors and nurse staff very polite and considerate. Good bedside manner‘s. Only thing I think they need to improve is that when you are paying upfront they need to let you know that is not the total bill. I thought I was paying it off right then and then I get another bill saying it was more that was just a down payment.

Unique Jazz

Had a Great Experience outside of the long wait. I had Nurse Chuy & She was very nice & Sweet. Dr Payne was very nice as well. Also the guy in the ER lobby who is Foreign (Maybe Asian or Hispanic) he was Very nice! I asked him to stay in the room & Speak to me while Nurse Chuy did what she had needed. I loved everyone I interacted with & I had a Great experience!

John Taylor

Went for a CT Sayurday, this was the 2nd appt they rescheduled us for because for some reason they needed too... go In and the internet is down, they all acted like the world ended. Finally get to the back and sit down, 30 mins, then they come and say Oh we wont be able to do outpatients today, everyone else yes but not you.. then the lady said the girl whose doing outpatients wont be in anyways. Worst customer Service and Hospital I have EVER dealt with

Tiffany Simmons

Place is horrible they let everyone know your business they are not going by state regulations HIPPA

Mariah Lovelady

My daughter came early and I lost a significant amount of blood resulting in an emergency C- Section. My daughter spent 6 days in the NICU surrounded by the most amazing nurses who made her healthy and our comfort their top priority. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better staff for both my daughter and me. They were amazingly generous and incredibly helpful.

Sheila Davis

My father is going through an extended recovery stay and I as well as my family have been beyond blessed. The staff, doctors, and nurses have been nothing but friendly, kind, and professional. I am beyond impressed with them.

Susan Helwick

First let me say my rating is not for the doctors we worked with at Mercy, they have been wonderful and helped my husband with incurable cancer recover from kidney failure so he can continue his chemo therapy. The hospital is poor. Nurses are some great and some very uncaring, depending on who you get on any given day. The nights, for my husband, were so bad we will never go back to this hospital again. When he called a nurse for help out of bed as he is very weak and needs assistance to the bathroom, it took 20 minutes for nurse or someone to come therefore him losing control of bowels In bed. Mornings upon arriving at the hospital I was disgusted by his bedside commode full of b/m and urine sitting bedside and not measured or emptied from the night before. I was unable to stay 24/7 but for your loved one to be cared for you must do it yourself because we complained and the head nurse on 3rd. Floor came and apologized for the lack of care but I doubt if she truly cares because she must have heard complaints from other patients as this is common complaint seen on this site. I finally made sure his bedside commode was in place and left the rails down on the bed so he could get to it himself upon leaving at night. My husband was unable to sleep at night for people laughing and being loud. He was given cold wet wipes for a shower promised before I left the last night. We were there for 5 days and my husband was going to check himself out if Dr. didn’t. Any human being deserves better treatment than my husband received from Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City on Memorial Rd. Shame on Mercy promising “Compassionate Care” to its patients. We didn’t get it.

LeAnn Brady

Have been waiting in ER for 2 hours, 20 minutes! My wife's pain level is 8-9; her blood pressure is 155/99. She has had numerous bowel blockages, a colon resection with iliostomy, and a reversal. This is second ER visit since reversal 3 months ago (previous visit resulted in hospitalization for blockage caused by post-surgery edema). Is it really emergency care?

Chris L

I've been to Mercy several times for minor things like tests or specialist consults and never had a bad experience. This review is specifically for their day surgery center in the Northwest corner of the building. My surgery was scheduled for 8:00 am and I was told to arrive at 6:00 am. We received a courtesy call at 5:30 am, reminding us to be there at 6:00 am. When we arrived at the center, check-in took about five minutes and we were asked to have a seat and wait to be called back. We waited less than five minutes and someone came and took us back to a prep room and provided me with a gown, socks and warm blanket and instructed me to undress and put on the gown. Just a few minutes later, another person came in and inserted an IV in my hand and gave me some medication. For the next 30 or so minutes I had a steady stream of people coming in to check on me or to do some kind of prep work for my surgery. The anesthesiologist and the surgeon also came by during this time. At 7:00 am, one of the ladies came back and said they were ready to take me to surgery (one hour early!). I said goodbye to my wife and then they wheeled me a short way down the hall to an OR, which was like something out of Star Trek! The entire team of about five people introduced themselves and I was helped onto the surgical table. The anesthesiologist immediately began talking to me, telling me what he was doing and then he placed a mask on my face for oxygen. He then said he was injecting the anesthetic through my IV. The next thing I was aware of was waking up in the recovery area. All through my recovery there were people constantly coming in to talk to me or to ask if we needed anything. Once I was ready, they wheeled me out to our car. Every single person I encountered introduced themselves and told me what they would be doing as part of my team. Every person who was substantially involved (doctors and nurses) asked me what procedure I was having done. Everyone was extremely professional and did a great job. I have never in my 47 years experienced a medical clinic or office that functioned at this level of timeliness, friendliness and competence. I highly recommend Mercy's Day Surgery Center to anyone who has the option of using them. I'll never leave the Mercy system as long as it's available to me.

A nurse named Michelle Wright is a racist woman. She hates white people and treats them like garbage.

Andrew Lambert

Thoroughly impressed with the team in the Maternity Ward.

Ashley Paul

This hospital is horrible. I took my grandmother in and the lady at the front desk was rude. Some of the nurses are rude. My grandmother had surgery here and they screwed up the surgery. I also had an interview here last year. I was told I wouldn't be able to take a break or lunch on a 8 hour shift. Was also told that if there was an emergency like a tornado I'd have to stay and answer the phone instead of seek shelter. Lets just say I didn't accept the offer.

Alex Woods

Excellent service, very professional and caring people

Andy Spears

I came to visit a friend in the maternity ward. Knowing she is still there because i was talking to her on my way there to see her. I get there. The nurses are playing stupid and lying and they have my friend locked up like its prison. The only difference between prison and this horrible place and sad excuse for a maternity ward is prison doesnt lie to you about your loved ones being locked up. DO NOT COME HERE NO MATTER WHAT. ESPECIALLY IF YOU PLAN ON HAVING VISITORS. THEY WONT LET YOU HAVE VISITORS.

Donna Latak

Friendly staff but doctors do not have a set time to make rounds. Patients and their families should know when they can expect to see their doctors come to check in on them. People have lives (especially family visiting their loved ones) ots inconsiderate to make they have to sit in a hospital room waiting for their loved ones doctor to come see them and provide updates!

Beth Delozier

I honestly don't understand why anyone would put a bad review for this hospital. I had to go in for my gestational diabetes test and everyone there were absolutely amazing. We didn't know where to go when we first got there and a lady that helped us find the correct building walked us out and walked us to the correct door. That's not where it stops either. After meeting with the very nice ladys in the lab I decided to take a walk to see what the hospital was like since that's where I will be having our son. I didn't know where the maternity area was and another really nice walked me to the elevators and told me which floor to go to. The facility was very clean and everyone that I walked by greeted me with a smile and hello. I'm so excited and feel very comfortable with us having our son there.

H F

Physically abused my father. This place is absolute scum Duran the nurse/staff member can rot in hell. Touch one more person you 400 pound piece of garbage. Thanks for tying my father to a bed after you physically abused him you POS.

Jessica Jolliff

Everyone here is very nice and helpful

Brian Hipsher

Best Hospital in the state of Oklahoma. friendliest staff, great doctors, and nice, compassionate nurses. keep up the great work.

Kyle McCloud

Awesome staff very friendly and outgoing the facility is very clean and well maintained. There is also a very diligent security force on site they patrol the parking lot and are very helpful when you need directions. Mercy hospital in okc is a great hospital that others should strive to be like!

Went here a few weeks ago (to emergency room) because of some immense pain in my leg. I had to wait 30-45 minutes just sitting there. When I finally got to go in, they did an x-ray, even though I told them that it would do no good, because the people at the entrance didn't write what I stated correctly. I said the location of the pain was just above my knee, though it was not my knee. The doctor insisted it was a 'bug bite', though I have a cyst in my leg, which was obviously causing the pain; there was not so much as a mark on my leg when the doctor looked at it, so it was obviously not caused by something external. The cyst has been in my leg for as long as I remember. Now they are charging just under $1100 because of this pseudo-treatment that they offered.

Sandra Rosas Olden

They are taking care of my dad. ❤️

George Matheson

In last 23 years, I have many Very bad experienceS at Mercy during tests and in hospital care. I have one last test next week and that will be the last time to Mercy. Would refer other hospitals than Mercy.

Tiffany E

Kind staff good doctor and food isn’t bad and the facilities are perfect

Kristi Kelly-Bolner

First of all I have worked at Mercy Hospital before and loved it. However the emergency room staff at 2158 on December 12 was less than stellar. They were rude and impolite. I heard them tell several people that what was wrong did not matter but as u sat patiently for 2 hours I was 2nd to last in the waiting room. I have a possible blood clot and have sat quietly. Not appropriate to be rude when people are concerned and you ask "What do you want me to do?"

Rick Russick

I've been in Mercy on and off for 3 months. It all depends on your insurance and your doctor how good of an experience you have. Most of the nurses are great. The food is good too.

Vickie Thurman

Neuroscience Institute/ Dr. Brian Snell

Jaynee Sizemore

Had to spend some time at the hospital and everyone was great. Nurse, Sharon and Val were kind and compassionate. The aids and dietary were exceptional, thank you Mercy, May God continue to shine on you.

Brandon Watts

Never had anything but an excellent experience at Mercy, the nurses and doctors are always very kind and helpful.

Pam Meme Dyer-Pledger

My son was transport here from Watonga hospital yesterday. The driver and passenger were so nice. We didn't get the right direction from ER till 20 minutes late waiting for someone to take us back or to room my husband again told them and made persons behind window understand our son already had a room. Then was told where elevator was and sented on our way. They need to listen to people who come in instead of telling them it will be 5-10 minutes. The cafeteria was terrible. The guy taking the order didn't listen got order all wrong. Chilly cheese hot dog was plain no cheese or chilly! The hamburger was a grilled cheese sandwich instead. I corrected him nicely and he argued then made a mess out of hotdog and made another worker fix hamburger. He threw cheese sandwich away while saying it was people who orders fault for mess up. Hot dog weinner was spoiled tasted rotten! Very disappointed in the cafeteria part we stopped at Walmart and got food to eat nexted day. Doctor and nurses were very nice and worked beautifully together on 4th floor.

Jenny Daniels

I would give them no stars if I could they don't know how to administer paperwork, blood work, or anything right they were terrible the nursing staff is a joke and needs to go back to school. I wouldn't recommend that hospital to my worst enemy.

Kennedy Bergman

The building is absolutely beautiful! I was rather nervous going in for a MRI, but the nice staff settled those nerves quick! Everyone is kind. I like that there are staff at the front desk to help take you where you need to go. You don’t have to wander. I really like it here! They are very aware of your needs, even asking what religion I am so that they can be aware of those needs as well. I feel safe and at peace in this hospital. (Which is amazing because hospitals can be scary!) it’s truly a place of healing.

Shirley MacKay

I have been here twice for inpatient care and it is truly subpar. I chose to come here again for my surgery because my doctor located on I-35 is absolutely wonderful. I decided that my doctor was more important than the care that I will receive after my surgery. The nurses/technicians seem inexperience and missed the patient sensitivity training. The room was cleaned twice during the 4 days that I was there. Dirty towels, trash filled with vomit, etc, laid in my room for several days. They never cleaned and I felt I couldn’t rely on them for anything since they seem incompetent. One nurse started removing my IVs and I asked her why. She insisted that I was getting discharged, which I informed her that I was not. She didn’t read the entire form and just assumed I was getting discharged. She apologized, but it scary that she could miss these major details. Another nurse tried to hook up an IV since I was vomiting and couldn’t keep anything down. It was hurting and swelling. She unhooked the IV and just left since she didn’t know how to do IVs. She never ask for help from other nurses. It was the same exact experience I had the first time after delivering my child, but I had my family to help me. The second time my family feel ill to the flu and was unable to be there, so it was another horrible experience magnified. If it wasn’t for my trust in my doctor, I would have definitely went elsewhere. I’ve always had great experience with the doctors, but the care by the nurses for inpatient is substandard and horrible. I am giving 2 star because the doctors have been phenomenal otherwise it would be just a 1 star.
