Ended up here on Labor Day daughter was in extreme pain. The doctor Thomas E. ingmire had the absolute worst bedside manners. Never come here it isn’t worth your time. Nurses weren’t much better to say the least.

Jody Joiner

I spent five days as an inpatient recently and was very impressed. No ER wait time and great INTEGRIS doctors on call while I was there. The nurses were very attentive and caring. It’s no fun being in the hospital and I hope I don’t have to do it again, but if I do, I would go back to INTEGRIS Deaconess.

Allie Ogle

Absolutely horrible customer service! I spent a few hours working with their Same Day Appointment line trying to get an appointment with ANY doctor they had available. The scheduler had my insurance information and told me she was scheduling only doctors who accepted it. After speaking with multiple doctor's offices to ensure coverage (after appointments were made) I was informed that none of the doctors with Alliance will likely take my insurance. This is unacceptable. If yoy want to run a successful business, you make sure your front line employees all have the same information so as to streamline the process and not infuriate your clients. I will never attempt to use Alliance or recommend them to anyone.

Michael

I visited this hospital (ER Visit) and they got me in right away and the doctor was very nice and actually took the time to sit down and talk to me.

Arrive in room promptly, was seen very quickly by the Dr. she was in room for approximately 2 minutes and said It looks like I might have some fluid behind right ear, said to take Benadryl. Then set in room for another 45 minutes. Left went to a real hospital Mercy where I live 6 blocks from Seen a real Dr. that said that I had a very bad middle ear infection in my right ear and I needed to be on antibiotics and he said he could not believe that it was not detected and even apologized for your facility. Your medical staff is a disgrace to the medical Field. Sorry I did not mention that my wife that was there with me and is The Charge Nurse in the CCU and a real hospital. What’s even crazier because I have had chronic ear infections in the past I ask her would she mind looking again and she stated “why I’ve seen what I need to see, and then walked out. No wonder this Facility has the lowest ratings of and Major Medical Facility’s in the Oklahoma City Area.

Jonathan Van Joseph Hicks BA

I left Baptist Medical because they were not compassionate and lacked bed side manner. At Alliance I was recieved with empathy, compassion and professionalism

Christina Hull

Didn't haf to wait long to be seen. The doctor was very thorough in finding out what was wrong. The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The best service. Will go there again if needed.

Everett Allen

This places is a joke. I came in with chest pains and left 3 hours later because I was completely ignored. Tammy the E.R. nurse abandoned her patients and went upstairs for the better part of an hour. The staff seemed MUCH more concerned with the wellbeing of a prisoner of the Oklahoma City Police Department. Want to stay alive. ....stay away.

Albert Devara

Good health care.

Tim MacDaddy

The out-patient surgery rooms are small but they get a 5 star on friendliness, kindness and they genuinely acted like they enjoyed their jobs. One nurse even denied herself a lunch break during the lull between surgeries just to get us out of out-patient at a decent time.

Septimus Jay

Everything that's wrong with Healthcare in America!!!! The waiting room is nasty and smells like cigarettes, the patient rooms in the ER are repulsive!!! Dirty, grimy stained floors, open biohazard cans, cracked counters, your Insurance dollars obviously aren't being invested in the upkeep of the place!!!! Loud, yelling patients violently vomiting in the other room, the staff wasn't in a hurry to help!!! Doctors are incompetent, Med degree from the Carl's Junior down the road!!! You'd get better medical treatment in a Kennel!!! If I have a heart attack and my relatives take me to this sewer, should I die, I'd come back and haunt the hell out of them all!!!!!!!!!!

Nancy Singleton

Came in with my daughter who is pregnant. The ER staff was courteous and got us upstairs quickly to maternity. The nursing staff in maternity is friendly and very open to questions.

Doug Paddack

The Emergency department Dr.Lee and nursing staff gave friendly professional care. The nurses on 6 north were great caring nurses. Surgery Dr.Stone and surgery team kept us informed all the time. CCU 3rd floor I can't say enough you are all God sent. I am so thankful from the bottom of my heart. God bless you. These medical staff is what everyone needs in their lives. Housekeeping was great the hospital was superb in cleanliness cafeteria was good but little prices to high. But food was good and hot.

Zena Cash

Took my 3yr old in to the hospital with 105.2 fever they said he had a ear infection and sent us home I'm now admitted to children's hospital because the ER Didn't care enough my son has a infection in Limp nodes and my need surgery this could of been tooken care of if they cared enough about there patients. And listen to the mother when I told them his symptoms

Felicia Cohran

I noticed that some of the nurses would throw trash on floor from supplies instead of putting them in the trash we would have to pick up the trash after they left out. The woman who changed the beds for the patients and touched equipment did not have gloves on. Gloves should be worn for her protection and the patient's protection. We were never shown any film from CT scans or MRIs. We left the hospital not even knowing what the problem was and the problem still persist. When our cardiologist office called hospital for medical records, they were told that there was not a patient by that name that had even been admitted. When I called Medical records, I told the lady that they told the doctor that a patient by this name was never admitted and instead of initially saying that she would check , she asked me "well who is "they"? I told her medical records (so she would be the "they") . She checked and told me that she sent the records and when I was thanking her, she slammed the phone down. never again, not even after the Integris merger

Brittany Denea

Very very horrible, I wouldn't recommend this hospital or the emergency room service at ALL. Intake time is horrible.. I went there with no one in the lobby still waited for atlest a hour then the dr was just simply being a smartass in a nice way. Seriously I'd rather drive 5 more minutes to integris right around the corner, there super nice An always Always are helpful.

Misty Kliever Jacobs

After three visits (two serious), it is clear this is the worst hospital I have visited in all of my life. Unfortuately I live closeby and this is where I am transported for serious issues. These doctors and nurses do not discuss your care with you. They will pull you through like cattle with absolutely no compassion or real concern. You are nothing to them but money. The only positive is they treat everyone equally. Nobody gets adequate treatment here.

Les Stoffel

All the personnel we encountered were pleasant and professional. Good bedside manner. Cudos to the young lady welding the needles. Two pain-free shots.

Lucero Hernandez

Horrible experience in er. I was left to bleed with half of my finger cut off for 2 hrs and staff is very rude and careless.

Teresa Taylor

I went to these people for help, and I ended up feeling like a side show freak. I was hearing voices, and my daughter brought me in. I posed no threat to anyone, myself included, but they chose to call the police and have me escorted to a crisis center. I felt unrightfully judged in the Deaconess ER, but the crisis center people were kind and only wanted to help. After doing an assessment (at the crisis center), they offered for me to spend the night without being checked in as a patient. It was my choice. They also offered for me to leave at any time. Additionally, I had the option to check myself in and speak with a doctor the next day. It was all up to me. If they had found me to be dangerous or a threat to myself or anyone else, they would have had no choice but to keep me there. Deaconess was a horrible experience with people who are ill-equipped to handle anything more serios than a skinned knee as far as I'm concerned, but I am glad they pawned me off on the police who brought me somewhere where I at least had a chance of getting the help for which I had been looking. The way the hospital handled it was scary, sneaky, and entirely unneccessary. They chose that route because not one of them was capable of making an accurate assessment of me or the situation. There are many hospitals from which to choose. I do not recommend this one to anyone. On top of all of that, I never received a bill. I was in the midst of a psychotic break and could not work, so calling the hospital to find out about a bill was the last thing on my mind. Now, over a year later, a collectin agency contacted me and wants $2500 plus dollars for that crappy service where I was unjustly judged and sent to another facility. It does not matter if the hospital gives the worst service imaginable. We are still responsible for the bills. However, these people did not even verify my information, so I never received a statement of any kind. Once again, they have dumped their problems onto someone else. I have to deal with a collection agency, and I never even had the chance to pay the hospital. Stay away from them. Go to mercy. They will help you without asking for your first born child as payment. They also offer charity assistance if you are uninsured, and it is very simple to apply for it. OU may have good physicians, but they are not charitable no matter how much they claim to be. The same goes for Integris. I hope my venting does not negate the message here. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone, and whether or not I was able to share my reasoning in such a way that reinforces my recommendation, I hope that you can understand it well enough to choose better for yourselves.

Doctors and nurses were ok. One or two could have been more caring. I set up payment that we agreed upon, they lied, now i'm paying them and their attorney. I pray for them, but i wont be back nor will i recommend

Went to er for shortness of breath, back and rib pain on 12/23/18. I have copd, wanted to make sure i didnt have pneumonia or partial lung collapse again like I did last year. Noticed first off, no transport chairs to help bring a patient in... Got registered, noted triage nurse very short tempered. Putting shortness of breath as a problem does nothing here. After waiting and waiting and waiting i have to go use restroom, triage nurse comes back there to visitor bathroom and asks me if i took a cup, they may need urine... Ok no cups available and no sign saying that.. I told him oh well gotta go you gotta go... Get back in treatment area and wait and wait and wait. Dr walks in asks me my issue. I told her, no im usually NOT oxygen dependant but level dropping when i walk today and bad back abd rib pain... Orders chest xray, NO BLOOD WORK OR UA. Comes back tells me my xray is clear, going to give me a shot of steroid and prescription for prednisone and work release... An hour later here comes nurse with shot of solumedrol.... My kids came by then (it was my bday and they had been at mine and my twins party) 30 min go by, im really struggeling to breathe, i cant control the tremors, my bladder, cant stand much less walk, had rare adverse reaction to solumedrol. Here they come with discharge papers, my oxygen levels now bottoming out at rest... Well the effects of this drug will wear off in 3-4 hours... My daughters get up and make this dr listen to them... I am a nurse... 32 years, ive never seen treatment like this before... Will not ever go back to Deaconess, i wound up getting blood gasses and some scan and given xanax which finally stopped the tremors and i could stand and walk again... Never had xanax before. Ok so you are busy, but you dont blow off folks like that especially when the family tells you they are worse than when you came in....

The Er and the nurses on 4 North and ICU 3rd floor were great. Best nurses and staff anywhere. The rooms were awful. Old holes in the wakks. Wallpaoer coming ofg. TVs not working. Ned to update the hispiral looks sad and uncared for. Thank God they have such a great group of nurses the walls

Daniel Gonzalez

Where there for 4 hours and when they finally got us in they told us some bull and send us out the door in less then 10 min being in there

:Lu Ann Yoder

Excellent care in CCU . Staff attended to husbands needs as well as mine. Helped me find a hotel room. Excellent flight crew. Excellent Doctors. Excellent nursing staff. Could not have asked for better care .

christal fun Ramirez

This place over charged me on the bill. Now they are trying to sue me. Charged me on stuff that my daughter never received. I work in the medical field as well and I know how they over charge people. Well never recommend anybody to go there. Worst place ever. Can’t believe they are trying to sue me.

Barb Crews

Husband went in with shoulder pain, found out it was heart pain! They couldn't have been better or more attentive. When it wound up that he needed bypass surgery he was not interested in moving to a bigger or "better known" facility in OKC, he felt very comfortable with the staff. The hospital sure could use a bit of updating, but understand that is being done from the top floor down. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM was the lack of food services for visitors and patient families. The cafeteria has very strange hours, we literally could not even get a cup of coffee on Saturday or Sunday unless we went there within a two hour time span. Really?? Most hospitals have free coffee for families while they are waiting. Fix that problem and it would be a five star review.

Jacob Mccook

I was in the waiting for over three hours and kept being told there was one person in front of me when I sat in the waiting room watching other people go back into there room within 15 mins like is advertised on a billboard

Kenneth Scott

Should be criminal what they charged us for the worst possible care on our visit to the ER. 5 hours total, my wife in excruciating pain ( had to find a nurse to beg for some pain meds). Dr never came in to see her. Ended up being a kidney infection. $3000 after insurance, as I said should be criminal.

I would give a big fat ZERO!!! Im a single mom. And I have no siblings. And no other support structure all. My mom is in the ICU from a stroke. And I understand about the age rule about the age. Which I think is stupid. But a head nurse called and got permission for today that my daughter can be in there. I had to sit out of her room for them to run tests. 2 other nurses came and bothered me about it. And I told them I had permission to be there. Rude and Uncaring. Plus Alliance in MWC is Aweful there too. Wasnt even in ICU and the nurse was rude about my kids. They weren't even doing anything. We just got in the room. The front desk nurse made us wait forever to go back also. My mom was alone and scared. We had to keep asking when we could go back. The doctor seemed inconvenienced and nurses were not nice at all. This would've never happened when we lived in Tulsa and went to St. Francis. They had no problem my little ones being in the ICU when my Uncle was sick. The nurses and doctors are warm and welcoming. They encourage family, regardless of age. Unlike Alliance. Where you're ostracized for having a 2 year old. BIG FAT ZERO!!! Maybe I should call the News and let them know how I've been treated. Already got bad media at Alliance in Midwest City. Shame on You Alliance. Have some Compassion!

Brad Boldman

Really disappointed in the ethical or rather lack of ethics in their billing practices. My primary care physician referred me there for an echo cardiagram and included my insurance information. I checked in they copied my insurance card and said that was all they needed. Come to find out AFTER the fact they had and they knew he was an out of network doctor read the results of the test so my bill is larger than it should be. When questioned on why they did that they said you did not ask for an interview network doctor. Why should I have to ask for that. They should give that to me automatically since they had my b insurance information not require a request for what should be a standard practice. I have been using Deaconess forever and now am considering severing all ties with them medically if that is how they are going to treat people that do not know the double secret questions they require to get an instant network doctor

Smith Beal

Crappy crappy crappy crappy crappy all I gotta say... This is a junky hospital that will judge you

The emergency room visit was awful.

still waiting on them to fax information for a birth cert. its been 6 months.

As a patient in waiting for gallbladder surgery right now. I was scheduled to have my surgery an hour ago at 1:30. I was told upon admission at 11:30 that my surgeon was about 30 behind, here it is, 2:55 pm and an hour n 20 minutes past my scheduled time and I'm still waiting. The staff is very unfriendly. I would not and will not recommend this place to anyone I know

Jim Jordan

Been here 25 hours and still not seen a Dr after bring diagnosed with Sepsis. ER staff was great though.

Jeff Morgan

Very nice staff. Everyone was courteous and professional. Facility was clean and up to date.

Shawn O'Ryan

Came in with a kidney stone (wich I get frequently because of a medical condition) they did a scan saw I had a kidney stone and promptly diagnosed me with a UTI sending me home with anti biotics that did nothing to ease the excrutiating pain

Al Roche-Walters

I think Integris Deaconess is one of the best kept secrets in OKC! After falling out of my attic and breaking my tibia and shattering other parts last week, Dr. Uhland did an awesome job putting me back together. The emergency room staff was wonderful; efficient, professional, and kind. Dr. Uhland explained exactly what he would be doing during my surgery. My room on the sixth floor was very clean and nice; air intake vent was super clean and I had a big TV with many channels. The folks taking care of me were always nice, professional, and efficient. Thank you Dr. Uhland, Dr. Tilly, Dr. Cossaart, Shanda, Christy, Shrija, Jamey, Janis, and Rose. Great Hospital and Great Staff!!! Thanks for caring and taking such good care of me. Allison

Leah Dean Thomas

I had a procedure done yesterday by my gynecologist, Dr. Judy Fong, and I was a little unsure about it being at Deaconess because of all the bad reviews. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the excellent care I received. The hospital was clean, the pre-op processes efficient, and everyone, from the phlebotomist, the kind and observant anesthesiologist Dr. Wong, to my excellent check-in nurse, OR nurses, and recovery nurses, were professional and friendly. The collegiality of the staff was evident, and I loved how well everything was explained to me at every step of the process. After a recent visit to Mercy's nasty and inefficient ER, I was thankful for my next experience in a hospital to be so, so wonderful.

Karen Harris

No staff during the night but 1 nurse. No washcloths or towels in my room. I have had a terrible headache since after surgery and they just sort of look at me buy don't give me anything. I feel sorry for the nurse, it's not his fault.

Lori Mort

Their moto here is treat them and street them if you have no insurance

Steven Baker

Terrible billing service. Over charged me 50.00 from my account and offered a refund. Still have not seen the refund. Very glad Intregis bought this place out but I will never use their service again.

Our daughter, who is a young adult was taken there for an emergency medical situation, and when we arrived, they would tell us nothing about her condition, and would not let us see her, until she asked. They were uncaring, unsympathetic and very rude. Our daughter's life was in danger, and they did not even send a doctor, or a chaplain out to discuss her condition with us, or to even pray for us. (Isn't this a Catholic institution, and should have Chaplains on board?) They could have offered us a private consultation room, in which to wait and cry, so that we could get out of the crowded room, but instead, no words of comfort, concern or kindness was shown. The only thing they made sure they did was to give us our daughter's bill; asking for our insurance and payment! They also did not do an essential medical procedure that should have been done to make sure her life was no longer at risk, instead they assumed that she was probably fine, instead of making sure. This was the worst experience ever for hurting, concerned parents of a young adult in medical crisis!

Wes Sumner

Cant knock the care my dad recieved. But we went to the cafeteria. Charged us 17.00 for unedible food. Except the bacon it was alright.

Horable. Transferred in from another hospital to CCU unit. Keep asking for my top partial dentures they gave me my bottoms but didn't have the top and I was missing my backpack. No one cared. My needs were ignored. I was so frustrated. Went I went to the floor CNA gave me fresh water once during the 2 day stay on 4th floor. One CNA came through smacking and popping gum. Who in this day an age still chews with their mouth open?! I only found out about what was happening with me during report because report was done at bedside. Dr Duffie didn't see me but once for 2 minutes. No information but to tell me she was doing a Cardiologist referral. One nurse gave report as if he had done an assessment of me which he had not done. He just reported what he received in report. I never told him I had retired from nursing. I shouldn't have to say anything for you to do your job.

Went for imaging. Staff was amazing!

Just had a friend in your emergency room last night in severe pain. You admitted him and came across the fact that he needed surgery. And came today nobody has done anything and no one doing anything about his pain. If you can't get to him fast enough at least make sure he is comfortable. You did nothing! He left but your security followed him to another hospital so desperate for help because you couldn't provide it. That's by far the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. He was just trying to get help. And yes by law you can't pull out an iv and leave. But this guy was desperate because you couldn't do anything or wouldn't do anything. And I think it was profiling. What because they were bikers? Where was security before he left. And they really followed him. Where did you think he was going? HE WAS GOING TO SOMEONE FOR HELP! You have always been my go to hospital but I'd rather go out of my way than go to your facility again.

Pauly Chicago

It might have been quick to get you in but the prices at this hospital are outrageous. I went in on a holiday for a infected finger and just to get it popped and relieved of pressure cost me over $1200. I was told by another company that I shouldnt do it myself. I kmow now. Plus if you dont pay your co-pay in full by 3 months they will put it in collections. So unless you have deep pockets good luck working out a payment plan with them. Id refer you across the road to the other big hospital.

james Mcneely

$$$ all they care about is moneyThe place shows no caring whatsoever. All they did was dope me up tell me I needed to get a ride did not whatsoever solve my problem nor care about it

Dream Post

I will never go here again. I went in today with the most pain I have ever had in my life in my lower back flank area. it took an hour just to get in a room. another hour just to see a doctor for 2 minutes. I was almost in tears, couldn't even stand up, lay or sit without pain. she didnt even look at my back when I told her it was swollen. I ant even breathe because it is excruciating with every inhale. They gave me a shot and said its just back pain. Wrote a prescription that hasnt taken the pain away one bit. The shot has only helped temporarily. Im now awake at 3:39 am because it hurts to much to lay down. I cant even sleep it hurts so bad and they haven't helped one bit!!!!!

My aunt was a patient at Deaconess for five days recently. The value of care that she received during this time was exceptional. Dr. Kahn is a doctor who takes time to explain procedures and answer any questions you may have afterwards. Terri on 4th floor is probably the most attentive and caring nurse I have encountered. Whatever she is being paid, she deserves more! Shayla on 4th floor was also a rare treat. We loved the smiles each time they greeted us. The others provided adequate service but these three stand out. I hope that someone at the hospital takes the time to commend them publicly in one of your meetings. They deserve the recognition.

ÆRO ŠPECIALIST

I WENT THERE FOR DIFFICULTY BREATHING FROM ASTHMA, AND THE DOCTOR REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE MEDICATION I NEEDED. I was shocked. When I complained to the hospital administrators the next day, the administrators did not care about it at all. This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. It is a frightfully unpleasant atmosphere too.

Holly R

My daughter was seen yesterday in the ER. They violated Hippa laws by giving her scripts and paperwork on someone else. Waited for 3 hours till they did anything! Worst hospital in Okc. Even when u complain about service and their hippa violations no return phone call on making sure this does not happen to another patient. Medical board will hear about it next. They would like to see copies of someone else’s record that was given by a incompetent nurse!

David Lawerence

Kind and caring with excellent doctor's. My wife had great care. Thanks

T Russ

This place has gone down hill since I was there in September. The doctor, nurses and front desk are ridiculous and rude. They don't answer call lights and like to eat while checking on patients (one nurse in particular, night time, brown hair and glasses, she obviously hates her job). The doctor was a joke, and the blood pressure cuff that was cutting in to my grandma's arm left a skin tear that they weren't too concerned about either. It's obvious they don't have compassion for patients, to them it's just another job, another paycheck. Avoid at all costs. I also have put in a complaint with the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Worst hospital in the state......staff is very rude and the doctors dont care.....even heard a staff member say she was more important than a patient...... Forgot her name but she always wear color lipstick. I will not be back even if I was about to die across the street. Seriously INTEGRIS is right around the corner its worth it and you'll get someone who actually cares

I never post comments about anything, but the nurses on the 4th floor of this hospital have changed that for me. The rudeness they display is beyond unprofessional. I know nothing will be done about this, but if I can help at least one person, I'll be happy. Please reconsider receiving service here. I'll now be spending the rest of my evening sucking up to them, in fear that if not our family member will receive bad care. Very sad.

if could leave a lower rating, I would. My husband was brought via ambulance for motorary issues (not being able to walk or grasp things). They completely ignored the issue, ran tests that were not needed, then discharged him claiming nothing is wrong. 8 days later his condition hasn't improved but declined and were headed to a neurologist via ambulance again. The on call doctor was horrible. Rude, spiteful, disrespectful and ignorant. I wouldn't go here if my life depended on it. I rate it -10 *

Fast, friendly service in the ER when my grand son needed stitches last week. Caring skilled nurses and physicians really did great on a 3 year old.

3rd floor icu is amazing, great care. 4north floor is horrible, they are nice, but the care is not, they dont check on you ever, and if they do it takes them hours on in to come and check, then if you call for help it takes them hours to get there. My father in law is there now and today we called bc he needed to be repositioned and no one ever came i had to ask 3 times before someone came and wgen i got to the nurse desk 6 people sitting there all eating. When he first got moved to that floor they left all the sheets under him from the transfer and did not check on him for 5 hrs afterward, only came in took his vitals and left. Would not take my dog there...

I went to this hospital at about noon on a Tuesday with terrible pain on the right side of my head and throat. I filled out the form and only had to wait in the waiting room for a couple minutes which is the only reason i feel this review warrants any stars at all, seeing as i was trying to get seen ASAP. Any way, when they took me back the nurse ran through a whole slew of questions like "Are you suicidal, how is your life at home.....etc etc" totally irrelevant to my reason for going in then he hooked me up to a blood pressure cuff and just left. About 30 to 45 minutes the "Doctor" came in looked at my throat for literally one second, and stabbed me in the ear which was already in a ton of pain, also for like 1 second told me there was nothing wrong with me and that my pain was likely due my cigarette smoking that other than that there was nothing wrong with me and refused to do anything for my pain they just recommended taking Modrin or Aleve to help with the pain which i have been doing for a week with no real results and told me i should quit smoking, which again not relevant to my pain at all. youd think for having an ER that get get you in so soon they would have more time to actually examine the cause of the pain. but i guess not

Anastasia SOAD

HORRIBLE. The labor & delivery nurses are so rude. Everytime I pressed the button to call my nurse they acted as if they were offended that I was asking them to do their job! They never remembered to bring my pain medication , I always had to call. I had one amazing nurse & her name was Coleen. SO if you absolutely have to give birth at this hospital ask for Coleen!! They didn't offer tp change my bedding NOT ONE TIME. But I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL.

Staff was very rude, except one nurse. We went to the ER at 8 am on a Thursday morning because my husband was in excruciating pain. We brought our daughter because it's kind of hard to find a babysitter with 2 seconds notice. They kept telling my husband nothing was wrong with him and that he just needed to calm down. The doctor even asked us if we had been drinking?!? He came back maybe 2 times and would say "you look fine to me". My husband was literally in tears. After we had been there 4 hours with my husband screaming in pain and them telling us their is nothing they can do for him, they came in with the results of the CAT scan. They told him his gallbladder was filled with stones and he was passing one. The doctor then proceeded to tell us that we eat horrible and if we would just change our diet he would be fine. (Most people tell us we are the healthiest eaters they know.) He gave us a surgeon's number - just in case - but "no one really needs their gallbladder out". He also gave him prescriptions for pain medicine, but made sure to tell us "it's not for recreational use", because apparently we look like drunk drug users?!? I do want to say thank you to the one nurse who came in every 15 minutes or so apologizing that there was nothing more she could do and assuring us they would find out what was wrong, Hopefully she will get a job at a better hospital since we will not be back to Deaconess.

Don’t ever send your love ones here for a mental evaluation! I brought my brother here to the ER thinking it’d be a 72 hour hold so they could see what was causing him to think about suicide. They said he wasn’t going to being to talk to anyone but I thought it was just for the first few days. I tried calling to see if he was ok but they pretended like he wasn’t even there, I told them repeatedly I brought him up there myself I was there for the intake. Still nothing 2 weeks go by I call again, I get the same bull response but now they’re saying they transferred him to another facility. They also told me he could have set up a password so when we called we could speak to him, THEY NEVER TOLD US THAT DURING INTAKE!!! Now his lost in the system and my whole family is worried. They won’t tell us where he is or how his doing. He doesn’t have insurance so they’re just racking up the bill. I should have never taken him here. My mother died here 15 years ago and there was malpractice, I thought since then they had gotten better but I was so wrong.

Not a good place to go for treatment, the staff is not proactive in treating patients, and very neglectful. Had a friend who has nearly died because of the staffs incompetence. I suggest you find another hospital if you think you'll be in the hospital longer than a day or so.

My daughter had a procedure and the nurses took very well care of her and made her feel comfortable. An older man who works there gave her a teddy bear! She loves it.

Amy in their department that does preauthorization's is a very rude individual and always hangs up on us at a certain insurance company if we can't help her with things we have no access to! Sad.

As a healthcare professional this was absolutely the most dismissive hospital I have ever been to. The er is completely disorganized, noone communicates. I came in with already established and documented kidney stones, with a lithotripsy procedure scheduled for days later, I sat in a room for 1.5 hours before I saw a nurse let alone a physician. The NP refused to be agreeable, as well as the nurse. They said I was refusing service when I wasn't, all because I didn't want unnecessary tests done, especially while I writhe in pain. The nurse said I refused medication, when I did not. I left. It was a atrocious place. I would rather rot in a gutter then " receive " care there. If you want to be dismissed, ignored, forgotten about and bullied about your health care.. than this is the perfect time place for you.

An that hospital only has 2 an half stars cause it was nasty dude. There was blood on the floor in the room i was in told the nurse she said oh the house keeper must of missed that. Then asked me to put my shoes back on...um that's nasty an unsanitary!! NOBODY EVER CAME AN CLEANED IT UP!!! Mind u, both trash cans were also full almost to the point where they over flowing, dirty linen bag was over stuffed. Sharps container was full...I was pist ill never go there again. Like..trash cans in the hall ways over flowing and every thing it was a horrible experience!! The nurse also dug in my arm for about 2 mins trying to get my vein. They gave me fluids for what reason idk...left with the diagnosis of a 9mm kidney stone...smh.

After a week of my husband staying at this facility we found out that his medical records were never transferred. It's a suprising that we even ended up at this facility in the first place. But the first thing they did at Deaconess was gather his medical records to send back to Midwest Alliance. A+ on that one. A couple of the nurses were somewhat rude. They walk off while talking to you. And get flustered with you if you ask them any sort of question. Seems like employee moral is low. I don't know. Housekeeping came in the room on two occasions and never cleaned anything or emptied the trash.

Blacks stay away I was there they wouldn't give me meds because they was to worried about me being stuck n there lobby as if that's more important then my health I took my own IV out the nurse snatch my arm no stats really. But u have to give at lease one start to speak all black people that come don't jus want drugs we want help

Horrible out-patient services. i would give -ve stars if I could. I had two services done through them a CT-Scan and a Biopsy in 2012. Both are wrong diagnosis and the worst part is half of my face was paralyzed because of the dumb stupid doctor who damaged my facial nerve while trying to do a Biopsy. the initial CT-Scan concluded that a lump in my jaw was a Tumor while a later study revealed that it is a blood clot. they charged me around $3000 for both the services and I paid about $2300. later I felt that this is not right and spoke with the hospital saying that I don't want to pay the balance $722. if at all I should be compensated for the damage they caused to me. the lady I spoke to dully obliged to write-off the remaining balance in 2014. now, through my credit report, i came to know that they filed a collection against me in 2015.. what an apathy and utter disregard for the patient welfare and customer care.

Had a emergency surgery to remove a cyst I didn't know I had. The Dr. Crawford and his nursing staff were absolutely amazing!!! They took care of me as if I were the only patient there. Very respectful to my children and family. They saved my life and I am grateful. I highly recommend this hospital. Thank you so very much for your compassion and care.

The staff was nice and seemed ready to help with anything.

My daughter was born here, the time and experience we had here was amazing. The staff made us feel vary "home like" comfortable. I always recommend a friend or family member to come here.

Occured on Feb. 10th, 2017... 1. Patient, 88, fell and could not move leg. Overflow at most most hospitals ERs, except deaconess hospital (NOT CAPITALIZED), so we had to go to deaconess hospital ER. Upon entry, depressed and rebellious spirit from employees, also complaining of poor equipment. Patient in extreme pain, first pain relief at (1) hour, no effect, reported no effect. No pain relief medication for another (2) hours, also ineffective, reported no pain relief... (6) hour stay, patient crying in pain, no pain relief delivered, SADISM. 2. While patient was in room crying in pain, I witnessed a male nurse and another female helper watching antagonize an inebriated patient that was not combative or harassing UNTIL the male nurse got in his face and spoke loudly for 5 to 10 minutes in a demeaning fashion that would be explained as, i am sure, the nurse was just trying to ask a question from the patient, but truly he was trying to get the patient riled up which worked and then the staff had to restrain him and their Friday got a little more exciting, which was what they were after, i strongly believe. This poor patient was being harassed while my grandmother cringed and cried in pain, SADISM. 3. Lots of discussing tattoos and piercings on many of the employees at deaconess hospital (NOT CAPITALIZED) show the level of morality and humanity that is shared at this discussing hospital, SADISM. 4. When x-rays returned with no sign of broken bones, they said "nothing is wrong with you, go home." This 88 year old patient could not move her leg that she had recently fallen on and she needed to stay at the hospital until she could move her leg and function properly again, SADISM. 5. A friend of mine told me of an experience that they had a few years back with a misdiagnosis of a leg that DID need tendon surgery when deaconess hospital (NOT CAPITALIZED) said "Go home, nothing is wrong with you". Other people have told me that deaconess hospital needs to be shut down and is among the worst hospitals in OKC. STAY ALIVE, STAY AWAY FROM SADISTS, STAY AWAY FROM deaconess.

I came to the emergency room with chest pains. Normally I just ignore my health but my wife insisted. We were impressed with all of the doctors and nurses we met. Dr. Khan explained everything to my wife and I about what they were doing. Even the nurses had high praise for Dr. Khan. Come to find out I have Angina.

Edie Perales

Was referred for gyn issues. The dr I was to see canceled twice, the day I show up to the appointment I was told he was no longer with them. (they said they sent out letters and phone calls . I didn't get either) They could reschedule me but wouldn't be for another month at least. That's three months waiting on an appointment. I've had good experiences here in the past but not this time..

Took my son in for high fever pissible flu reinfection after a previous positive flu test a few weeks ago. They refused to test and barely took his vitals before rushing us out the door. Less than 4 hours after leaving there we were rushing back to the hospital (a different one obviously) because his fever spiked at 103.8 they tested for flu and our fears were confirmed. Would not take my dog to this hospital

The ER rooms are filthy!! Hair and dust and whatever germs! The nurse was just ok..stuck my husband way in the back corner..he was there over two hours and NO DR came in the room! Ran unnecessary test! I say go to Mercy...that’s a REAL hospital! Clean your rooms and those Stryker beds!!

Katie Huddleston

Went to the ER all the nurse thought it was a good time to catch up on gossip giggle and laugh really loud while they have patients sick and in pain waiting on their help. I was there with my 2 year old who had a fever of 103.7 the doctor came in quickly let us know that he was getting her some medicine then we saw no one for almost 2 hours. They didn't order any test so we were just waiting on meds. The nurse came back and let us know that the doctor forgot to put in orders and had gone to get food. I am surprised the are still open they should have been sued so much they are out of business. They are literally playing with people's lives and the staff thinks it's funny. Glad the nurses have time to joke about who is the doctors favorite while patients young and old are suffering and in some cases dying.

My daughter was diagnosed with fluid in her lungs a few weeks ago and was told it was nothing to worry about by ER doctor. Today she was told to go back when the urgent care doctor said her lungs sound diminished and have them check again. She was told once again that she is fine and that doctor made a snide comment about urgent care doctor. Doesn't seem professional or like they care.

Rachel Roberts

They let my mom die in 2016 because they did open heart surgery while she had a infection then I have been there twice since then they lost me both time after they put me in a room then had release me and don't even know what wrong with me

Lauren C

Dr. Do Le was very dry and rude. It was very clear that he did not care about my daughter or why she was in the ER. When I asked questions about the tests given he took it personal and talked down to me as if I was an idiot for advocating for my daughter and her head injury. ( I brought my daughter in with a head injury and a 102 fever and the only thing he would check was her urine, I asked if she needed any other tests like, maybe for her head and he began to talk to me like i was an idiot. ) I let him know that I believed he was taking it personal by his tone and he talked to me like I was dumb. I am a medical professional on a trip to OKC from CA and am disgusted. CA may be over populated but the practitioners have compassion for their patients

Leslie Bauer

Discharged from Deaconess hospital only to call ambulance later that evening to go to a real hospital around the corner. Dr at Deaconess was horrible and dismissive that's why I had an ambulance ride and a 6 day ICU stay at Integris Baptist Medical. Hopefully, Integris can turn this hospital into something the community can be proud of.

Yani Mendoza

Omg, this is the second time I go to this hospital as an emergency patient and I get attended so fast I love this hospital!

Luna Izumi

Good doctors treat their patients good. some nurses could work on how to help out disabled people like when you or someone can't see and they know it and walk off anyways.

Friendly staff! This was my first child and I had to have an emergency c-section. The lactation specialist came and checked on me once or twice a day and was so helpful. The nursing staff was great. There was one nurse that was an hour late on my pain meds(not fun) but that was the only complaint I have. I will for sure be back!
